We have stayed here many times and it feels like visiting relatives out in the country - only with more privacy. We like the Vineyard Suite, but all suites have sitting areas, wet bars with microwaves and fridges, and outdoor sitting areas. Friends and relatives who have stayed there with us have all been happy with their suites. Beds are beyond comfortable, and the sealed gas fireplaces take the chill off the morning or evening air. The location is simply lovely. Set in groves of ancient trees, birds of many varieties and other critters abound. Cindy and Daryl could not be more welcoming or the breakfasts better and more abundant. With advance notice, they will prepare a lovely multi-course dinner for you, with wine. Their advice has led us to many small wineries we would otherwise not have tried and to delightful conversations with the owners and wine makers. (Obviously, Napafication has not reached Fair Play.)
We designed and built Lucinda's to be a comfortable, elegant B&B with all those things that make our guests feel at home. It it wonderful to have guests express their appreciation for everything we have done and continue to do everyday. It's TRUE Fair Play has not been Napafied

Cindy and Daryl were perfect hosts for our Valentine's Day getaway. The in rooms are spacious. Ours had a jacuzzi tub and fireplace! Fresh flowers were in our room upon our arrival. Cindy is a master chef. The setting was tranquil with daffodils just beginning to bloom. There are a lot of new wineries since our last visit to Lucinda's Country Inn. We will not wait so long to return the next time.

As always, Cindy and Daryl provided a delightful experience, this time for our anniversary. The central location of Lucinda's makes multiple wineries readily accessible and all the proprietors in this region are amazingly hospitable. The Sullivans go above and beyond with their hospitality, however, offering complimentary local and homemade snacks and wines each evening. What sets Lucinda's apart from the crowd though is their affordable choice of onsite dining, offered with some regularity (watch for them!). The farm-to-fork dinners are exquisite and the morning breakfasts are incredible. And perhaps the most enjoyable feature of Lucinda's is the forest in the back leading down to Perry Creek. Beautiful, peaceful, and quiet, the short "backyard" walk is a great way to start every morning or conclude each evening.
What a nice review. We feel privileged to have such kind words written about Lucinda's. We do snacks and wine on Fridays and Saturdays only. The dinners are now offered all the time. You just have to watch your email inbox for the details for when you stay at Lucinda's Country Inn.

My husband and I stayed in the Vintage suite and our friends stayed in the Laguna Suite across the hall in the main house for three nights. Both suites are quite roomy and very accommodating with all the comforts of home. Lucinda and Daryl are wonderful hosts who know how to do it right! They provide many thoughtful details and amenities to ensure your stay is enjoyable one. Lucinda made us feel right at home ("pick out a mug for your coffee...") and the breakfasts were absolutely delicious. One morning we saw the 'neighborhood deer' wandering past the property. The location of the inn is handy for visiting the wineries in Fair Play.

My husband and I stayed three nights in the cottage but all the rooms in the main house are wonderful as well. Lucinda made outstanding breakfasts and we enjoyed happy hour on the deck with other couples and Daryl and Lucinda. As we were sitting there, several deer wandered across the property. Wonderful sunset as well! Great wineries and perfect weather. We will be back!..

Perfect B&B! Beautiful house with very spacious and well appointed rooms that are more like suites. Very nice and comfortable beds and linens. The hosts are extremely caring and accommodating with all small details thought through for their guests' comfort. Excellent breakfast! Would definitely return and highly recommend.

We had the pleasure of spending 2 nights at Lucinda's Country Inn. We were in the Beate Suite - it was very spacious for our family (2 adults, 2 kids). We like being able to spread out. The kitchenette was very convenient. The room is neat and clean. It turns out we didn't spend much time in the room - the surrounding Fair Play area is gorgeous and despite being there mid week we were able to go to a couple open vineyards. The open area of the house with games and the large deck was very comfortable and our kids loved all the board games and puzzles. Breakfast was great and we loved the local wine! Highly recommend!
It is wonderful to read a nice review from a family. We have tried to make Lucinda's comfortable and enjoyable for all our visitors. In this case we are pleased because our Innsitter did a wonderful job of hosting. Thanks Brent. Every now and then we need to sneak away for a day or two mid-week. It was nice to have excellent help minding the ship.

Found Lucinda's just on line, however other folks coming to a wine dinner we met also stayed there and had before. Then at dinner two nights later with old friends they too had stayed there. All had the same comments of how outstanding all the aspects were. Having been in the high end hotel and restaurant business our whole career, their comments were right!! Well Done!
