Ludmil is a great host. He met us at the airport, took us on a tour of the famous sights and then returned us back to the airport. For anyone who wants to visit Sofia and vicinity, there is no one else to go to.

We are Americans living part time in Sofia. Whenever we needed a place to stay, we loved coming to the peaceful quite of the Casa Ferrari. We bring all our business and ministry contacts here.

Quiet location, yet central to all attractions, bars, cafes etc. Very comfortable accommodation & great value for money. The rooms have all mod cons & are a tad quirky, but in an attractive way! Older style but pleasant. Good bathrooms & lovely common sitting area with tv, pc, etc. The host is very pleasants & knowledgeable & very enthusiastic about all Sofia has to offer - as well as providing a potted history & other fascinating information about the country. A great place to stay.

The B&B is located within walking distance to the center of Sofia. The room are clean and tidy. The hosts are very hospitable and helpful. When needed, they provide transportation to and from the airport. I have recommended it to other friends of mine who have decided to use it as well and have stayed there more than once.

I have stayed at the Casa Ferrari several times and it has never disappointed me. The owners are very accommodating. They speak perfect English and are wonderful people. I don't care if you need a converter for the outlet, an umbrella or a cab to the airport - they can help! The facility is top notch, the food excellent and the service outstanding. Ludmil and Marianna are very special folks!

The B&B is located downtown, about ½ block off of a main street. The 3 units are located on the first floor of a 4-5 story building where the other occupants share the common backyard area. The units (at least the one we stayed in) was extremely quiet, with the one large window facing into the large yard. When you first enter CF, you find yourself in a common living area where breakfast tables are, some lounge chairs, a fireplace, some books, and a table with a netted computer for anyone’s use. There is a hallway leading to a small kitchen which it at your disposal with refrigerator space. Ludmil and his partner (who lives in Italy), have decorated CF with antique Italian furniture. They decided to use it to open a B&B, about 5 years ago. The decorations and paintings complement that atmosphere. The room we had included a large bed (2 twins beds, sort of attached to each other, making it very comfortable); a table, a couple of comfy chairs, and a bathroom. CF is located about 3 blocks from the main walking street in downtown Sofia, which is filled with outdoor cafes, restaurants, music, and at one end museums, churches, synagogues, and a mosque. Ludmil is highly knowledgeable about the history of Bulgaria, and has taken classes to keep up with events and politics.
