If you are anywhere near this lovely spot in the Texas Hill Country, this is a must stay. This is one of the loveliest B & B s I have been too. Everything was outstanding: the decor, the views, the grounds, the room, the hospitality, and the breakfast. They even bring you wine and dessert at turndown time. Such a wonderful place!
Overall very comfortable with wonderfl hospitality. Nice bedding. TV channel options with all streaming channels was poor, but not a big deal. Would definatwly stay again. Nice central location off Congress couldn’t have been better.
Very secluded and quiet. This is basically a self service B&B-they provide the items (continental) in your room and you take it from there. Coffee maker takes forever to brew a pot - a Keurig would have been much more appreciated. We frequently stay in B&B's and this was a little disappointing. Stayed 2 nights and never interacted with the innkeepers.
The Inn at Pearl Street is a lovely place. The staff was exceptional, and the room, as my title suggests, was cozy and comfortable. I stayed in the French room, which faces the street, but didn't notice any significant street noise. The tub is fabulous and they even have bath salts to help soak away your stress! We left too early to take advantage of the continental breakfast and chat, but hope to do so when we return. One thing, if you need to use conditioner when washing your hair, bring some with you - they only provide "conditioning shampoo", which just doesn't do the same job. If you have mobility needs, make sure to let the front desk know, as the rooms in the main house are only accessible by stair. We loved the Pearl and will try to make it back soon!
Casa Del Sol was the very first and probably the only Bed and Breakfast I ever want to stay at! The host Cata and Doug, oh and Muffin are the sweetest ever. The moment you enter the gates of Casa Del Sol; no better yet the moment you turn into the street you immediately feel at peace, my husband and I felt so at peace and inlove with not just the place but the entire vibe of it just makes you appreciate it all around. We will definitely be going back! My favorite place ever. Thank you guys so much for an amazing time. - Vivian Chau Molina
My wife and I have been sneaking away to Sage Hill Inn since our honeymoon 10 years ago. We try to go back every year to unwind, visit the wineries and Wimberely or just stay in our room all day to enjoy the views. Dinner service is a nice option at the Inn but Austin is a short drive away.
It rained every day and night of our recent extended weekend vacation, but it didn’t bother us one bit. The entire campus is hand groomed, hand planted and hand picked to perfection. The room was cozy, comfortable and clean. The views (when available) were spectacular. And... the private hot tub saved the weekend. We must have got in and out no less than a dozen times. FIVE STARS!!! The proximity to Austin and the surrounding area makes this one of the coolest spots we’ve stayed recently. We will definitely be returning when possible.
My wife and I spent last weekend at this beautiful property. We can't say enough great things about it. We stayed At Maurice cottage and we love it. Plenty of space, great amenities and peace & relaxation anywhere u looked. The staff was always polite and nice, making u feel comfortable and welcomed. The only thing that I was thought was very good but not great was the food. I'm just trying to find something to comment on. We loved this place.
We absolutely love the vibe of this beautiful home. The rooms are spacious with great attention to detail. The breakfast is perfect and well thought out for everyone's needs, down to the fact that they allow you to sleep in and get breakfast until 11:00 a.m. We loved walking in the elegant neighborhood again surrounding this b&b. We can't wait to go back.
This was a great weekend getaway! The staff was pleasant and helpful. The food was well prepared and tasty. The room was clean and comfortable. The atmosphere is very quiet and peaceful coupled with the massage we got, we were thoroughly relaxed.
Jimi & Vivian were wonderful hosts, I can't say enough good things. They were very knowledgeable about the area and history. The main reason I choose this B&B was because I am on a restrictive diet, which they were more than happy to accommodate. Breakfast was so yummy with lots of homemade goodies, even the yogurt was from scratch! We stayed in the Bluebonnet room, which was cozy and had wonderful lighting. The house and grounds are beautiful & charming in a interesting historic neighborhood. A plus is the close walking distance to S. Congress and we easily made to walk to restaurants/live music. I would definitely recommend staying here, especially for anyone that struggles with a restrictive diet/allergies. It was such a relief to wake up to a lovely breakfast without the worry of if I would be able to eat anything. I truly was able to have a stress-free vacation and let someone else do the cooking for me.
We stayed at the Sage Hill Inn for one night. The staff was very friendly and super helpful, the meals were delicious, and the grounds were beautiful. We stayed in the Nance suite and the views from the windows throughout the suite did not disappoint. I would highly recommend staying at the Sage Hill Inn and would do it again.
We stayed in the Galveston Room which was in the Main House so it was convenient for dinner and breakfast. We knew in advance that the room would be smaller and the bath as well but the bedding was very comfortable and the amenities were above what we were expecting. The Blair House was very attentive in regard to our food allergies and intolerances. The Saturday evening meal was unbelievable. The breakfasts were delicious too! We will certainly come back - we would like to stay in one of the cottages next time. Thanks to Chris and Lois for your gracious hospitality.
My boyfriend and I stayed in the Moonlight Suite at Casa del Sol. It was a great experience. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. The room was equipped with a small kitchenette that was perfect for what we needed. The view is amazing of the lake and you can see it from laying in bed. The best part was the hot tub! It was very chilly when we went and we used the hot tub to our advantage. Gracious host and lovely place all around! We will definitely stay again!
The Sage Hill Inn is fairly close to home. This was our first visit of many more we plan to make. It is clearly a place to "pause" life and recharge. The grounds are so inviting, the rooms are comfortable while your every need to met. We not only we greeted by wonderful staff but our room was waiting for us with fireplace going. They absolutely thought of everything. Can't wait to return....
Our 4th wonderful stay. The Ranch house is the perfect set up for our annual strategic planning meeting. I love the new menu options. I enjoyed the best steak I've ever had two nights in a row! Our waitress was very personable and attentive. Thanks
The Blair House is over the top on everything. We were made so welcome, Then we attended the cooking school and it was great. We want to return soon and take more cooking classes. We had a wonderful time and my wife enjoyed her birthday weekend there. Thank you Blair House and staff.
My husband and I stayed at The Fairview for one week during our very first visit to Austin. We were immediately welcomed and felt comfortable at our 'home away from home'. Vivian and Jimmi were warm, friendly hosts, and helpful with suggestions for things to see and do in Austin. Breakfast every day featured freshly baked muffins, homemade granola and yogourt, and homemade gluten-free bread. Coffee, tea, cappuccino and mineral water were 'on tap' throughout the day. Best of all, we had the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in in our lives! As a bonus, they have the cutest little Havanese dog - Lucky! :-)
