This was our 5th wedding anniversary and our 6th bed and breakfast experience. We were greeted as soon as we pulled up and offered a refreshing spritzer after our 4 hour drive from Oklahoma. Both hosts were very inviting and helpful. We opted for the 3 nights so our dinner which was Awesome should have not have just been called a hamburger, for it was quite wonderful. As was our entire visit very relaxing , breakfast words cannot describe. The kind of breakfast you indulge and need a great nap! Which is exactly what we did. Thanks for the cookies Lisa I am quite sure I did gain 10 pounds, bit every bite was worth it!

My favorite part about our stay was the little touches like umbrella for guests to use, information regarding the shuttle services, and menus for many of the restaurants in town. We enjoyed using the large bath and finding the towels and hair dryer in fun places (easy to find if you're looking). The bed was very comfortable and we napped in the afternoon and awoke feeling very rested. Breakfast was delicious and it was fun to have "room service" included in the experience. We dined at the table in our room by one of the many window alcoves.

My husband and I have stayed in Eureka many times, and this was one of our favorite B and B's The breakfast was outstanding- way above and beyond. This is really well located in Eureka, too.- close enough to walk to shops and dining (right around the corner from Ermilios), but far enough from the main downtown area to feel really peaceful and quiet. Chris and Lisa are available and helpful, but not hovering. We had a great stay- will definitely keep this one on the list

I wanted to surprise my wife with a special getaway. A friend recommend this place. I got on line and was able to get a room for our anniversary. We had a stupendous time. And the room was a great part of it. We did not want to go home but we must. We have decided to go back to our place each and every year. It's a big thumbs up.

My husband and I spent the night here to celebrate out 2nd year anniversary. We had a fantastic experience. Chris and Lisa were exceptional, our room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Chris made a delicious breakfast and Lisa's cookies were a welcome addition after a night of exploring Eureak. We are greatful for their wonderful hospitality and helping to make out anniversary a memorable one. Thank you! Mr and Mrs Mason, Mo,

My husband and I stayed here for a three day get away. The room was as described with the exception of a stand up shower. Taking a shower in a bathtub with an hand held shower was a little uncomfortable, but the jacuzzi bath tub was great for soaking! The absolute BEST thing about this B&B was the food. It is really amazing! We really only interacted with Chris and he was very nice. I had asked for decaf coffee in advance as I can not have caffeine and only one of the three mornings was there decaf available. That was a little disappointing, but overall I think it was a nice place to stay. If you like animals, you will LOVE the cat Ping, she is a hoot!

Very fun and relaxing stay. Chris and Lisa were both very warm and welcoming, not to mention Ping and Elizabeth Taylor. Overall a great experience.

Lisa and Chris are wonderful caretakers and hosts of their beautiful Victorian home in Eureka Springs. We have stayed there several times and they are always friendly and the food that Chris prepares for breakfast is amazing. We've been to Eureka Springs 17 times over the years and Mount Victoria is top of the list in quality.

Really nice place and comparable in price (as around the US). Day one breakfast: awesome, day two ok. Check your room carefully if it has a shower; Chris the owner said it was difficult in some rooms to add a shower (in a renovation). Room was old but furnishings were nice. Overall, we would recommend as its close to everything and the owners were super nice. I did feel that they were hanging around every time we left or came; I am sure part of it was that they just wanted to answer any questions we had.. wished they just had some kind of bell if you needed help (in the lobby).

My daughter and I had a very lovely one night stay. It exceeded my expectations and we hope to visit again for a longer stay. Our host were gracious and also left us to ourselves for privacy. The breakfast was absolutely the best I have had in many travels and places !!

I recently had the pleasure of spending two nights at Mount Victoria. The house and decor is charming and cozy and felt like home. Upon arrival, we were greeted at the door by Chris and Lisa had prepared a delicious lemon bundt cake which was available to guests on the second floor along with any beverage you could want! The room was quiet and cozy and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was served on the veranda each morning and certainly didn't disappoint. The food was delicious and the presentation was amazing. The location is fantastic as you can walk or take the trolley which stops across from the inn. Chris was very helpful in suggesting places to eat and sites to visit. I would highly recommend the Mount Victoria to anyone!

My husband and I have enjoyed several weekends at Mount Victoria Bed & Breakfast and are looking forward to yet another visit in December! I knew, from past experiences, my sister and I would have a wonderful time staying at this inn to enjoy nature's beauty during the peak season of the Fall foliage in the Ozarks! Chris and Lisa did not disappoint us! As soon as we pulled into our personal parking space, Chris was at the door to greet us personally and he showed us to our suite, all the while explaining the different "perks" offered at the inn. Lisa bakes the most delicious delicacies each and every day and guests are free to indulge as they relax away the afternoon either in their private suites or on the second story verandas. Lisa can be found most afternoons on the front porch and always has fun stories to share! Both Chris and Lisa are very friendly and outgoing, yet are very respectful to allow their guests the freedom to quietly come and go as they please. I've never stayed at Mount Victoria and not received great advice as to where we should spend our time shopping, relaxing in local spas, and experiencing fine foods at the local restaurants! Guests preferring to "dine in" for dinner have the opportunity to make plans when they book their reservations for one of the fabulous dinners Lisa and Chris prepare. My husband, along with three other couples, have had the pleasure of doing this and we were beyond satisfied! Every morning at 9 am, Chris delivers a scrumptious breakfast to your suite where you can dine inside or on your private veranda if you are on the second floor of the inn. Never once have we been disappointed with the food! It is always such a treat to see what both Lisa and Chris prepare for breakfast and it's always presented in such a beautiful fashion! As long as we continue to visit Eureka Springs, Mount Victoria will be our place to stay! It is a beautiful inn with wonderful inn keepers!

They have large tubs in the 2 3rd floor rooms, but there is not sufficient hot water to fill them more than 5 inches... There was someone else's hair in the tub, yuck!!! and there is no shower in the room for an alternate way to get clean. The breakfast was supposed to be the best part of the experience, a hard fried egg in in a roll is not to die for. It was really disappointing.

When I began my search for the perfect place to spend a special romantic weekend I was determined to find everything I wanted and I did! Mt.Victoria is a beautiful inn with genuinely friendly and easy going owners who immediately make you feel relaxed and welcome. Their dog, Elizabeth Taylor, is friendly too! The location is perfect and we walked everywhere. We stayed in the Clayton on the 3rd floor and it was beautifully decorated like a magazine picture, clean, and really cozy. Our bed was incredible and very, very comfortable with the softest sheets I've ever felt. We really enjoyed our big Jacuzzi tub and felt so spoiled! The food was the best breakfast we've ever had! The first morning we had a delicious sausage gravy breakfast pizza with veggies, cheeses, and egg (I know, sounds odd but it was VERY good!) and fresh fruit and Lisa's dessert which was what she called a deconstructed cherry chocolate pie! No words for how good THAT was! The second morning we had their eggs Benedict - very different - with pork tenderloin and a fresh lemon sauce and NO runny egg - instead it was an omelette! Dessert that morning was a pumpkin pie trifle with real cream and cranberry cake! Chris delivers your breakfast to your room every morning with a menu card that describes what you're being served and we loved that! The amenities are outstanding - movies, a station for our phones, robes, Waterford crystal (we felt so fancy!) sodas, water and ice always available plus teas and hot cocoa and apple cider and a lot more! And then there's Lisa's cookies! One day she made fresh cranberry white chocolate chip (it's my husband's new favorite cookie!) and the next day she made peanut butter with chocolate chips! Thank you Lisa and Chris for making everything so special for us! We will be back!!

Mount Victoria was the perfect place to have a long, romantic weekend getaway for me and my boyfriend. We were greeted by our friendly landlords as soon as we stepped out of the car (and a very friendly dog named Elizabeth Taylor) and given a quick tour and some general info. The room was beautiful and the bed was heavenly, we both slept like babies! The location to the main loop of Eureka Springs was great. The breakfasts were excellent (we were a little unimpressed with the coffee, although they do grind theirs each morning they said), Lisa's daily cookies are fabulous, and the two cats added to the charm of the place. It's a beautiful home, the room was comfortable, cozy, and charming. We really had a great time here. We didn't really see much of the landlords while there, but they were always quick to answer the phone if we had any questions. Cost was a bit pricey, but that's what you're going to pay for a nice B&B so I thought it was fine. All in all, highly recommend Mount Victoria B&B.

We enjoyed our stay, but felt that it would have been nice if we had options on what time breakfast was served. It came every morning at 9am and was incredible! Also, we loved having breakfast in our room, but thought it would have been nicer to have a knock at the door with breakfast left on the trey outside instead of having it brought into the room. Chris and Lisa (the owners) live there. It felt a little strange to hear hi and bye every time we came in and left the house. The tv was small and was inside the antique armore along with our hanging cloths. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Nice place overall. Next time we'll probably stay somewhere a little more private, though.

We wish we'd had more than 1 nite to spend. This inn is beautiful inside & out. Our suite was big, beautiful & very clean. The whole inn is clean and smells fresh as soon as you walk in. Lisa & Chris have thought of everything to make their guests comfortable. Everything is in their details! If you feel like being private , you got it. If you feel like chatting with Lisa & Chris, you got it. Breakfast was delicious , beautiful , & so filling. Breakfast so good that we bought their cookbook & we don't cook! Tons of amenities. Too many to list here. We loved that we could walk everywhere including to dinner at a quirky Italian restaurant , Ermilio's , which was good but not nearly as good as our breakfast. Definitely stay at Mount Victoria. You will love it & Lisa & Chris too. Everything was perfectly perfect!

We had never stayed at a B&B and after Mount Victoria it will be hard for another one to top our experience! Chris and Lisa are very friendly and helpful. it's like you're staying with easy going old friends and even their dog Elizabeth Taylor is really friendly! Our room was on the second floor and we had our own private deck where we enjoyed eating the best breakfasts we've ever had! Ever! Our Saunders room was very clean and had a bed so comfy it was hard to get out of. We really enjoyed our jacuzzi tub because we don't have one at home. It was soooo relaxing with the bath salts and so fun with the little rubber ducks Lisa puts out! We were blown away by all the thoughtful details in our room and at the B&B. The location was perfect, service a 10, and food a 100! LOL. This B&B is beautiful inside & out and we will be back! Thank you for everything Chris & Lisa!! The Fleshers in Texas

We recently stayed two nights in the Saunders Suite. It is a very nice place with lovely decor. The breakfasts were delicious and beautifully presented. The area of the B & B is pretty and peaceful. There were a couple of negatives. We tried to use the jacuzzi twice, and both times some large flakes of debris came out of the jets, which was very nasty to me. Also, it looks as though the home and back yard need some maintenance and a little TLC. Still, we enjoyed our stay there.

We stayed one night and it was fantastic. Chris and Lisa - thank you so much for your hospitality and for such a great inn! First - the Inn is beautiful. The rooms are cozy and the location is amazing. The bed is one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in and the veranda was absolutely perfect for an afternoon snack, breakfast and in our case, both! We enjoyed walking around the area and taking in all the beautiful homes and the historic Crescent Hotel which is literally around the corner. The Breakfast was amazing! and the peanut butter cookies are fantastic as well! Overall, if you are coming to Eureka Springs you should spend a night - or a weekend here. You'll be glad you did.

Our stay at Mt. Victoria was very pleasant, refreshing, and relaxing. Our room was very clean, neat, cozy and comfortable. The owners are very nice and friendly and always greet you as you leave or return, and always offered to help carry in anything from the car. The breakfast we had both mornings that was cooked by Chris was delicious and filling if not over filling. We do not have a single complaint and will definitely be staying at Mount Victoria again!

We celebrated a special anniversary at this charming B&B in Eureka Springs, AR. Chris did a wonderful job on breakfast and we were always excited to see what was on the menu every morning. We have pets and enjoyed meeting their animals. The room was spacious and very clean. The only downside for us was that there wasn't a shower, just the jacuzzi tub. Overall a wonderful weekend stay and we've already recommended Mt Victoria to our friends and family.

This b&b was amazing. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Everything was very clean. Chris was very helpful. This was our first time in Eureka and he gave many suggestions for dining. We ended up eating at Ermilio's, which is within walking distance from Mount Victoria. The walk was peaceful and pleasant. It was great! My husband and I enjoyed cookies and an array of beverages/ hot tea while watching a movie from their vast selection. The following morning, breakfast was delicious. Large portions and fresh squeezed orange juice delivered right to our room. I loved staying at Mount Victoria. We will be returning!

We went for our 9th anniversary. We have never stayed at a Bed and Breakfast and did not know what to expect. My husband was really unsure about staying in someone's home that he did not know. We has a beautiful room with plush robes for our use. Coffee, water and FRESH Homemade delicious cookies were available all day. The breakfast both mornings was to die for! We have had good food, but this was absolutely the best food we have ever had away from home. Dinner was included in our special and the dinner was also delicious! We could not be happier with our choice of accommodations and would highly recommend to anyone!! Chris and Lisa are the bomb!!

We stayed for two nights in the Jackson suite and had a wonderful time. The proximity to both the downtown area as well as the Crescent Hotel and Spa was perfect assuming one can walk up the many hills in Eureka Springs. The Jacuzzi tub was a very relaxing way to end each day. One would normally be concerned about noise in a 100 year old Bed and Breakfast, but I honestly never heard anything aside from Chris coming upstairs to start the coffee maker on our floor and then to bring breakfast. I would like to mention that the breakfasts were out of this world. We never needed lunch. I would highly recommend any couple stay here. Party central...no. Relaxing and romantic...yes!

My wife and I spent four consecutive nights at Mount Victoria on vacation in early April. It was our first visit to Eureka Springs and our third experience staying at a bed and breakfast. In comparison, the rates seem reasonable and the house and the room were to our liking. There was an unfortunate issue with a leak from our jacuzzi that kept us from bathing the first evening, but after a night without water the leak was fixed and the rest of our stay went uninterrupted. The service was solid, if a bit casual at times, and each morning the breakfast was indeed gourmet. From the selection I found online, Mount Victoria may be one of the only options in Eureka for a B&B with tastefully furnished rooms.

My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at Mount Victoria. Innkeepers Chris and Lisa were very welcoming and friendly. The Inn is exceptionally clean and nicely appointed with antiques and artwork. Our suite, The Mazaret, was spacious and comfortable. A veranda outside our room had a pleasant seating area where we enjoyed a morning cup of coffee. The gourmet breakfast Chris delivered to our suite was delicious. We will recommend Mount Victoria to our friends and family and would like to visit again in the spring or early summer.

We recently stayed here for our anniversary for two nights in the "Jackson" suite. We had a very pleasant experience. Chris was very helpful unloading our car and moving stuff up the the third floor suite. They had everything and more than we expected around the house. A wine cooler for our wine, fresh cookies daily, gourmet coffee on both floors, as well as hot tea for us non coffee drinkers. Breakfast was above and beyond anything I ever expected! I'd go as far and say it was in the top three things I've ever had for breakfast. The only complaint I have is there is no shower in the rooms, but it had a very large tub and that made up for it. The attention to detail and them supplying everything you need (even stuff for the wife's makeup removal) makes this the best B&B I've ever stayed at. We will be back next year! :D

I just have to rave about Mount Victoria. My stay in the Saunders Suite was amazing. The bed was so comfortable, the linens and pillows were dreamy...I could have stayed in it all day. The room was beautiful and cozy. The huge tub and super comfy bathrobe were perfect. My breakfast was straight out of Bon Appetit or Southern Living (and was actually featured as a BEST!). I loved that I could stay in my jammies and that breakfast was delivered to my room. Coffee was self-serve and just down the hall so I did not have to go downstairs for it. I love that. I felt like a princess and I've already booked another stay for the week before Thanksgiving. Can't wait to go back! Thank you, Chris and Lisa!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Mt. Victoria! I especially enjoyed the breakfast -- it was the best meal I had in my entire trip through Arkansas! The rooms were charming, and the hosts work hard to insure their quests' comfort. The only possible gripe that I might have would be that I would have appreciated a few less decorative touches and a few more places (like a chest or table with drawers) where one could stow one's belongings -- especially in the bath area. But that is very minor. Overall, the Mt. Victoria afforded me a wonderful B&B experience.

Gorgeous house but did not live up to expectations. Its was a lot of little things that were missing. No coffee. You had to ask for it. None served with the breakfast and it was not very hot. Hard to search for creamer. Really!!! Brownies and ice cream for breakfast and having to be up and dressed by 9 am. No proper holder for the shower. You had to hand hold it with no curtain. On positive note bed was comfortable but for the price sadly disappointed. Would not go back.

What a fantastic place to stay in Eureka Springs! This was our first B&B experience and it could not have been any better! Mount Victoria has an absolutely perfect location as it's just a few blocks from the downtown area where the shops & restaurants are. Our room, the Mazaret, was very clean & so beautifully decorated - Lisa has a real flair! We loved our robes (which we ate breakfast in on our private veranda every morning!) and all the special touches and amenities. Chris and LIsa's breakfasts were the best we've ever had - you have GOT to buy their cookbook! There are no words to describe how good the food is! We loved Lisa's cookies every day (best cookies we've ever had) and the all day / night access to the complimentary soft drinks and bottled water as well as ice and teas and cocoas - it was really wonderful to be able to make a cup of cocoa at midnight one night! The inn was full every day while we were there and we enjoyed talking to Lisa and Chris and the other guests (some of who were return guests which was fun to hear their stories and history of coming to Mount Victoria) when we wanted to but we absolutely had our privacy when we wanted it too. The hospitality, beauty of the inn and its decor plus the BEST FOOD EVER and all the amenities made this a truly outstanding experience. We WILL be back! If you don't stay here you are making a mistake! Thank you Lisa & Chris! Annie & Tom B. - October 2013

I called the Mt Victoria on a Monday morning after spending a disappointing night at the Crescent hotel, which I found drab, dark, sank and in disrepair. I was eager to move! Despite being busy with breakfast, Lisa took my call and was able to reserve me a room for the remaining four nights of my planned stay in Eureka Springs. Although check-in time is normally not until 3:35 pm, they bent over backwards to turn the Saunders suite around quickly so that I would not be homeless and in limbo all day. I very much appreciated that extra effort and consideration, as I was then able to settle in and still enjoy an afternoon of exploring the downtown area. My suite was sunny, spacious and beautifully appointed with lovely bedding and many thoughtful touches. Breakfasts were delicious and so robust that I did not eat lunch. Instead, on most days, I'd complete my sight-seeing for the day - including day trips to Branson and to Bentonville - and then eat an early dinner back in Eureka Springs before returning to the Mount Victoria. Several evenings, I sat out on the veranda and chatted with Lisa and Chris over a glass - or two - of wine before retiring to my room for the evening. While they certainly would have respected my privacy had I gone straight to my room, I found Chris and Lisa to be a friendly and unpretentious couple whose company I enjoyed. Those pleasant evenings were a memorable part of my stay. If you're looking for a comfortably elegant B&B with caring hosts who provide exceptional breakfasts and an assortment of thoughtful amenities, then you cannot do better than the Mount Victoria.

My husband and I came to celebrate our 5th anniversary and this is now our new favorite B&B! I did a lot of research on inns in Eureka Springs and specifically chose Mount Victoria because of their strong ratings, excellent reviews and the amazing pictures. We were not disappointed nor will you be. Lisa & Chris, the owners, are very warm and friendly and they were very helpful in making sure we knew how to get where we wanted to go. There is even a map in the suite when you check in that has the inn location "marked" and you can take it with you during the day, etc. Very helpful and thoughtful. Our suite was exactly what we expected based on the description. It was very clean, beautiful and looked like a professional decorator had come in yet still comfortable. The breakfasts were the best part of our trip. Chris and Lisa should open a restaurant as it was the best food we had the entire time we were there. We will treasure our memories at Mount Victoria and look forward to making new ones! Thank you Lisa & Chris! You have done an amazing job with Mount Victoria and deserve every award and more! Chris and Lisa went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and then some - :) Lisa, thank you for the tickets, that was definitely a new experience. The room was excellent and the breakfast was one of the best I have ever had. My wife and I love the treats and the video library. We have tried other B&B's in Eureka and always come back here. We don't try other any more unless we fail to make reservations early. The Mount Victoria is within walking distance of Ermilio's Italian Restaurant, The Crescent Hotel (they usually have nightly shows, ghost tours, etc.) and Main Street Eureka Springs where there are a lot of shops and usually some form of entertainment in the park. If you do walk to Main Street, be prepared with good walking shoes and be ready for an uphill climb on the way back. Excellent form of exercise while vacationing. I don't want to say too much about how great the stay was because I want to be able to get a room next time we are in town.

We loved our weekend anniversary getaway! Lisa helped my husband plan the perfect anniversary surprise and did not miss one thing! Perfection! Lisa & Chris are so friendly, helpful and talented! Our breakfasts were the best we have ever had (we travel a lot) and better than any meal we had at restaurants that weekend. Our room was beautiful, clean and large. The unique decorative touches and style throughout the inn and the amenities blew us away. Lisa's cookies, the cokes & water available 24 hours a day, the linens on the bed, fabulous robes, our ultra comfortable bed we never wanted to get out of !!, the crystal stemware, and the attention to detail - it all just blew us away! We loved we could walk downtown and everywhere we wanted to go and then we'd come "home" to our freshly cleaned room with a nice note on the bed and chocolate kisses! We enjoyed our private veranda and relished the privacy at this beautiful, romantic inn. We will never stay anywhere else in Eureka Springs!! Lisa & Chris, thank you for a most memorable anniversary - we'll see you next year! :) Amy and Alex (Missouri)

We stayed there during the Two for Tuesday promotion which included champagne, chocolate dipped strawberries, and appetizers at Emilio's. we loved that and the location was perfect. Right on the trolley line and in walking distance to Emilio's. Lisa and Chris have thought of everything. The room was beautifully decorated, food fabulous, and extras like water, cookies, great coffee and food organic and locally sourced impressed us. Of course the cat Ping, was a great addition too! what a cutie! We had a fun sister's getaway

My mom and I visited Eureka springs for my birthday. B&Bs are typically for couples, but we really enjoyed the experience! The breakfast was amazing and even had a candle for a special touch for my birthday. I would recommend this place to any friends!

The cookies and biscotti they laid out everyday were amazing! This place is nice but it's not mind-blowing or anything and maybe a tad on the expensive side. All in all a pretty good experience, but honestly if we go back to Eureka we will probably just get a hotel for 60/night! LOL There's several there that are rated well on trip advisor.

The hosts' attention to detail here makes for a truly comfortable stay, as well as a charming environment . They've thought of everything -- from the cushy bed to the porch furniture, the individual cooling/heating systems and even the old tub. It all works as efficiently as a luxury hotel. There's complimentary water, ice, coffee, tea and homebaked cookies and good reading in each room, plus a very personable kitty on the porch. The meals are five-star, with my only caveat being: they are delicious, but more like luncheon or brunch meals in terms of the heaviness--slabs of pork tenderloin, chicken in a pastry. Loving hotcakes, I would suggest more breakfasty cuisine. But each meal was absolutelyl superb all the same. Very, very nice hosts who are happy to visit and suggest outings or restaurants. Excellent value.

The room was beautifully furnished with nice linens, etc. We only wished we would have booked one of their rooms that included a shower (NOT a tub) which is the one we booked by mistake. Would recommend. Very close location to The Crescent Inn and DT. Food was great. Never saw the wife, only dealt with the husband. He was pleasant without being overly talkative which we liked!

My husband and I stayed overnight for our honeymoon in the Mazaret suite and it was magnificent!!!! A large gorgeous room (with lots of thoughtful touches) and very comfortable bed with the most amazing sheets and a wonderful roomy private veranda that we could hear the fountain from below ... it was so peaceful and romantic and we were in heaven! We were late arriving and had missed being able to go to a restaurant so Lisa and Chris brought some fruit & cheese with crackers & mini chicken salad sandwiches (with a congratulatory bottle of sparkling cider) to our suite - SO thoughtful! We were blown away! We thoroughly enjoyed their thoughtfulness on our veranda (drinking from our Waterford crystal champagne flutes that are in the rooms) and it was a perfect "dinner." We loved our bubble bath (with rubber ducks!) later that night and plush robes. Breakfast was OUT OF THIS WORLD delicious and beautiful! We have decided to make Mount Victoria our annual anniversary destination. You are missing out if you do not stay here! We loved it, and Lisa & Chris, and you will too! (The Walkers From Oklahoma)

We had a great visit. The house is beautiful and peaceful. The only thing I didn't care for was the breakfast delivery. I have stayed in other B&B's where the breakfast was delivered to your room each morning, but it was always left on a table outside the door after a discreet knock on the door. Here the owner actually comes into your room to deliver breakfast. We didn't realize this and were caught in our skiveys. The next mornings we made sure we were dressed before breakfast! The breakfasts were large and delicious.

Mount Victoria is a beautiful B&B perfectly located in Eureka Springs. What really sets this inn apart from others are the hosts, Lisa & Chris. Their genuineness, graciousness and helpfulness creates a very laid back and welcoming atmosphere. We walked everywhere and thoroughly enjoyed the town and great restaurants. Nothing compared to Chris' breakfasts each morning. Not only were they absolutely delicious, they were absolutely beautiful too. Speaking of beautiful, our room (Clayton) was just perfect and perfectly decorated. Our king bed was deliciously comfortable (amazing sheets) and we slept like babies. Lisa has a real flair that is reflected throughout the inn. We loved relaxing on the veranda in the evenings with a glass of wine - it was very peaceful. It was a perfect weekend and we will be back for many more!

We chose the inn based on the reviews and photographs. We were NOT disappointed! Lisa & Chris make you feel right at home! Our room was gorgeous like something out of a magazine with attention to detail (we stayed in the Mazaret), our breakfast was beautiful and delicious each morning (best breakfasts we've ever had) and our entire stay (4 days) was fabulous! The grounds are lovely and everything is very clean. Lisa's cupcakes and cakes were out of this world - make sure you buy their cookbook! We will definitely recommend the Mount Victoria and won't stay anywhere else!

Our stay at the Mount Victoria Bed & Breakfast Inn was nothing less than spectacular. Chris and Lisa made us feel right at home. Their hospitality was more than I could have imagined. Great location. Within walking distance of shops and restaurants on Spring Street. We will definitely be back!

Mount Victoria B&B is a wonderful place to spend some "down time". Beautifully decorated with all the necessary amenities. Love the location...middle of the historic loop, yet private. The breakfast!! Chris is a master chef!! Tasty treats in the afternoon. Thanks, Lisa! Very gracious and friendly hosts. Loved sitting on the porch (with Pong, the cat...not sure where Ping was?) and chatting with Chris. This was our second visit and it was just as good as the first!! We shall return!!!

We chose the Three Day Get A Way. Our three days at the bed and breakfast were fantastic. We received excellent service and the food was out of this world. You will not need to worry about lunch. Chris and Lisa were hospitable and go out of their way to make their guest feel welcome. We also enjoyed petting Molly, Ping, and Pong. Jimmie and Mikel Melda

The third-floor Jackson Room where we spent our first night was excellently furnished, with an in-room whirlpool tub. Unfortunately, the mattress on the bed was worn out, too soft and "hammocky." The hosts allowed us to move across the hall for our second night, which was also well-furnished, and had an in-room whirlpool tub, where we slept much better. Both mornings, our host hiked up two stories and brought up a scrumptious gourmet breakfast served at a breakfast table in our room. I like meeting other guests in the normal B&B communal breakfast scenario, but I have to say that the in-room meal was a nice and unique experience also. Chris and Lisa were very welcoming hosts. The red line trolley is also just a few feet from the inn, which gives you easy access to downtown Eureka Springs.

Outstanding doesn't even begin to cover what an amazing inn Mount Victoria is. My husband and I celebrated our first anniversary and Lisa and Chris were so nice and helpful. The breakfasts were restaurant quality, the rooms beautiful, and the bed so comfortable with luxurious sheets - more comfty than our own at home! We stayed in the Jackson room and felt so relaxed and spoiled! The Jacuzzi was our favorite thing every night before bed - it's huge! We loved everything about the inn and cannot wait to return! Thank you Lisa & Chris for such an amazing stay!

I don't even know where to start- Mount Victoria is AMAZING!!! We spent the weekend in Eureka Springs for our wedding weekend and we'd never been to the city before (Yeah, I know, we were taking some major risks). Lisa was so helpful on the phone and through e-mail with suggestions and details of the town, this made it so much easier to plan and I was much more at ease with the idea. I seriously wouldn't have changed a thing, it was perfect!! Chris and Lisa make you feel so welcome and comfortable, we cherished every moment there! The food was beyond outstanding, every breakfast was something delicious and not just your plain old, "run of the mill" meal and they brought it to your room! Bonus- dessert comes with breakfast, Mmmm :) The rooms are very nicely decorated and cozy. They have a wide range of books and DVD's, available for all. I spent a lot of time in the Jacuzzi tub, it was great! There are beverages available 24 hours, that was a nice little perk! We had beautiful pictures taken at the Inn before we went to the chapel and they turned out wonderful! I could go on and on! Very happy with our stay here and I think you would be too, so glad we choose Mount Victoria!! Thank you for everything!

Perfect touches everywhere, and the food was delicious. The only two suggestions I'd make would be more than one tiny trash can in the room, and to relocate the little wooden bathroom shelf so it's not in the way of the sink. We loved our stay and would highly recommend Mt. Victoria. Eureka Springs is a joy.

My finance' and I I came to the Inn on the evening of March 31st, 2012. We were greeted by Chris and right away fell in love with the place. Our room was very romantic and relaxing. We had ordered in advance the BBQ dinner and because we had ate a late lunch for Easter, Chris held off serving until we were ready. It was amazing. I highly recommend staying in for a romantic dinner. Don't bother going out. The next morning our breakfast was unreal and they are right when they boast that you won't be hungry for lunch. We will be coming back soon. Chris and Lisa are the best.

My husband and I, along with another couple, decided to visit Eureka Springs for his 40th birthday. We chose Mount Victoria based on reviews & pictures. When we arrived we couldn't have been happier with our decision! Mount Victoria is more beautiful than the pictures - outside & inside. I booked reservations several months before we arrived & Lisa went out of her way to suggest creative ways to celebrate "the big 40!" We all had champagne & cocktail shrimp in our rooms when we arrived (beautifully & creatively arranged) & black balloons (we thought it would be funny!) that were floating around the rooms & a "Welcome To Steve's 40th Birthday Weekend" basket for the couple traveling with us that she put together. Upon her suggestion, I ordered a birthday cake from their Pastry Chef & it was just delicious. She also made reservations for us at the Aveda spa (1 block away) & dinner reservations at Local Flavor downtown. Both were excellent! She's very creative, passionate, professional & makes magic happen! Chris' breakfasts made us feel like we were eating at a fine restaurant they was so delicious! He's very talented and they were some of the best breakfasts we've ever eaten! My husband and I have not had a better experience or spent time in a more beautiful B&B than Mount Victoria. Mount Victoria is a must-visit! Thank you so much Lisa & Chris for everything! You 2 are an amazing couple that made us feel welcome, relaxed, and at home. We will recommend you to everyone!

My husband and I loved Mount Victoria and will recommend it to everyone! From the moment we stepped into the foyer we were greeted by Lisa & Chris' smiling faces and a genuinely warm welcome. We instantly felt right at home. We loved the location as we walked to a great Italian restaurant one night a few blocks away and each day we walked downtown as it's also just a few blocks away. There is a trolley stop across the street from the inn if you're not accustomed to walking or don't like to walk the hills of Eureka Springs. Our room (the jackson) was beautiful and we loved our huge Jacuzzi tub. Each morning Chris was at our door delivering his AMAZING gourmet breakfasts! I can't begin to describe the food except to tell you the breakfasts are absolutely amazing and better than any restaurant breakfast we've ever had. Ever! The coffee (right outside our room) was some of the best we've ever had too; you can definitely tell they grind their coffee beans! Lisa & Chris went out of their way to spoil us with the beauty of their inn, amenities, location and oh, that food! Lisa's cookies are incredible too! Our vacation to Mount Victoria was definitely more than we expected and It was well worth every penny. We can't wait to return! Thank you Lisa & Chris!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The room (the Clayton Suite) was spacious and beautifully decorated, with thoughtful details (we particularly enjoyed the rubber duckies for use in the jacuzzi tub). The proprietor Chris--we didn't meet Lisa--was friendly and helpful. If we visit Eureka Springa again, we will definitely return to Mount Victoria.

My husband I had the BEST time! Lisa and Chris were such incredible hosts making us restaurant-quality yummy, yummy, yummy breakfasts (soooo good!!) and cookies that are OUT of this world!! We loved our room, The Mazaret, as we did the entire inn which was casually chic and stylish! We could tell how much love and thought went into each detail of their B&B. It was like a professional decorator had been hired yet it was so welcoming and comfortable. Lisa did an amazing job making you feel so welcome in their Home. We've been to many other B&B's before where innkeepers "hovered" and you felt you "had" to talk to them. NOT here. There was no pressure to socialize and my husband and I were able to spend quality time together at this peaceful B&B - which is what we needed and why we planned the trip. We visited with Lisa & Chris when we wanted and were granted our privacy too. It was just so perfect. Per Lisa's recommendations and reservations she made for us (which was so nice) our dinners out were great. We walked a few blocks to an Italian restaurant, Ermilios, one night and enjoyed a restaurant downtown, Local Flavor, another night. Lisa went over the menus with us in our dining guide when we asked her and she was very helpful and informative. We can't say enough good things about Mount Victoria! We can't wait to come back! You will too once you stay here! Thank you SO much Lisa & Chris! (Olivia and Ryan)

WOW!! My boyfriend and I have traveled all over the world (staying in the best 5-star hotels) and we've never been treated so well! Lisa, unfortunately, was out of town visiting family over the Easter weekend so we did not get to meet her but Chris did an exceptional job running the inn by himself and taking care of his guests. We visited with other couples during our 3-day stay and they were all very happy at the inn and with the choice they made in Mount Victoria. Chris is, simply put, an outstanding Chef!! The breakfasts were the best we've ever had and always so beautifully presented on the plates. Mount Victoria offers so many complimentary items and luxurious amenities (we loved the Waterford crystal stemware in our suite) making this inn a 10-star value. We will definitely be back! We're already thinking about our next visit! We, hands down, recommend this inn! It's impossible to write about every little thing that makes Mount Victoria so exceptional and outstanding - you just need to see for yourself! You'll never stay anywhere else in Eureka Springs!

We had a nice stay at Mount Victoria. It was not overly ornate, as some B&Bs in Eureka tend to be. It's been described as "one of the only B&Bs that's not pink and purple." It's actually very elegant. We really liked the room. Did they think of everything? No. Did Oprah ever stay here? No. But did we have a really nice, quiet stay which is exactly what we were looking for? Yes. The breakfast was phenomenal, probably the best part of our stay. We did miss having a shower. We really liked the location - very near to everything but off by itself so it was quiet. I would probably stay here again, but definitely would if we could get a better rate.

We had never been to Eureka Springs and had read about Mt. Victoria in Southern Living magazine. We loved the night we stayed there! It was so relaxing and anything we could have wanted was there. The food was delicious (thank you Chris!) We will always stay here when coming to Eureka Springs.

My husband and I needed a very belated Valentine's get-away and booked the Bogie and Bacall package in one of the 2nd floor suites. We cannot say enough great things. It was our first trip to Eureka Springs and the package and the Inn itself gave us the perfect combination of relaxation and fun activities all within a short walk. We will DEFINITELY be back! Breakfast was INCREDIBLE. We were shocked to learn that the suite bed was more comfortable than our tempurpedic at home! My husband is still talking about it.

My wife and I have been to many B&Bs throughout the country and Mount Victoria is most definitely at the very top of our list! We would return and we will! The service Chris and Lisa provided was first class and the magnificent gourmet breakfasts will knock your slippers off! Our room was delightful with an invitingly comfortable bed and relaxing Jacuzzi tub. The historic inn (on the National Register of Historic Places) is just so handsome and well maintained. We loved our private veranda (second floor) where we ate breakfast (even though it was a bit cool) and enjoyed a bottle of wine in the afternoons as we relaxed and watched the squirrels in the trees eat the corn Chris put out for them - it was free entertainment! The locale is perfect - a quick walk to downtown Eureka Springs and only blocks from restaurants. Don't miss this B&B if you are planning a trip to Eureka Springs as you'll be disappointed if you stay somewhere else. We know we would have been!
5 on February 07, 2013
We recently stayed at Mount Victoria over a weekend with a group of six / 3 couples. All of our rooms were spacious (we had the second floor veranda rooms and the Clayton on the 3rd floor) and beautifully decorated by Lisa. Chris' breakfast are out of this world! We travel often and have never had such good breakfasts! We loved Lisa's cookies every day and access to all the drinks and ice machine. Mount Victoria's location is excellent - a quick walk to downtown where all the shops are and just a few blocks away from two popular restaurants, Ermilio's and The Rogue's Manor - both delicious. We appreciated the fact al the rooms have dining guides with laminated menus so we were able to look at the menus from various restaurants to make a decision. It was really a nice "extra" and Lisa & Chris were very helpful with their suggestions as well. Lisa & Chris are down-home friendly and very gracious hosts. I highly recommend Mount Victoria. We felt pampered, relaxed and rested and all 6 of us left very, very happy! We'll be back!

This beyond fabulous B&B was beautiful. My wife and I celebrated our anniversary there this past weekend and we wish we'd had more time to spend at Mount Victoria. Lisa and Chris are dynamic innkeepers and made us feel very comfortable and welcome. We stayed in the Clayton suite and it was the King of comfort! From the beautiful 4 poster King bed to the luxurious bedding to the huge jacuzzi to the soft robes to THE most delicious breakfasts to all the amenities that were needed! We loved Lisa's cookies every day and it felt like home having access to cokes, waters, ice and a huge DVD selection 24 hours a day. My wife really appreciated the wine chiller they have for guests so she could store and chill her chardonnay. Mount Victoria has a great location and we were able to walk everywhere. If you don't like to walk, there's a trolley stop across the street. We will be back! This was our first B&B and it beyond exceeded expectations! Thank you Lisa & Chris!

We are SO glad we found Mount Victoria! My husband and I stayed for 3 days and loved every minute of it! Our room (Jackson) was magazine-quality beautiful, our big Jacuzzi was perfect (they even had rubber ducks for us!), and our bed was so comfty we didn't want to get out of it in the morning but "had" to because of our incredible breakfasts! We were excited each morning to see what we were having and we were always so impressed! It's the best breakfast food we've ever, ever had! Chris & Lisa are great hosts and make you feel so welcome. We loved that they're so laid back and were not "lingering" around every time we came and went. They are always there for you and super helpful. We will be back this Fall! We can't wait! We would stay there again just for the food! We highly recommend the Mount Victoria in Eureka Springs!

came in late from Fayetteville after a late flight and drive. Place was attractively lighted from outside and owner was waiting to assist us to our room. The room was beautiful and had ready access to coffee and homemake cookies at an island outside the door. Stay was wonderful and we will come back. During tour of Eureka Springs, we observed many B&Bs and few would even come close to this place.

This was my third trip to Eureka Springs and my first time staying at Mount Victoria. I am so happy and pleased I picked this place because it was fantastic!! Chris, our host was so nice and made us feel right at home. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We had all the comforts of home…there is a mini fridge filled with complementary bottled water/soda, baked goodies, coffee, and just everything you would need for a home away from home. Our breakfast was brought to our room every morning at 9am and it was NEVER a disappointment. Each night we would be excited to wake up in the morning to see what Chris had made. Everything he made was delicious and enough to keep you full for most of the day. We will definitely stay here again and I highly recommend staying at Mount Victoria. Big thanks to Chris for the hospitality and the Solo cups :)!!

My wife and I visited with Lisa and Chris for two great nights. The home was superb. The hospitality made us feel like part of the family. Chris and Lisa are excellent hosts and always willing to help guide you to the best places to eat and the places to avoid. We stayed on the top floor and the rooms had the charm of a period home. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. All of the reviews that we read made a big deal out of the breakfast. These raves were not exaggerated!! The morning "meal" was very pleasing and well presented. We did not even think about eating again until late afternoon. Keep up the good work Chris. Will stay again with the McCants when we visit Eureka Springs again.

We were quite impressed with all the little things that were offered -coffee, soda, water, ice, and yummy homemade cookies available whenever we wanted them. Local menus with dish recommendation, tons of movies, and even a wine opener! Chris and Lisa have thought of everything! Our breakfast was fabulous and was enough to last us until dinner! Thank you Chris and Lisa for opening up your beautiful home. We will definitely stay here again!!

My favorite birthday present ever was our trip to Eureka Springs and stay at beautiful Mount Victoria. The suites are elegantly furnished and complete with all the amenities. Chris and Lisa welcomed us warmly and were available to attend to any request or need during our stay. Chris' breakfasts were beyond anything we could have dreamed of - the freshest fruit and most delectable food I have ever had anywhere. My husband and I love to stay in B&B's and make it a practice to do so whenever possible. We can say without hesitation that Mount Victoria ranks at the top of any in our experience. Thanks to the friendly atmosphere we met and enjoyed the other guests. All agreed that there couldn't be a more congenial place to stay than Mount Victoria. We can't wait to come back and plan to do so this fall. Thanks again, Chris and Lisa - see you soon!

My husband is deploying overseas and I wanted to spend a little bit of time with him before he left. We had never stayed at a Bed & Breakfast before and made a random search on the internet. We could not have found a more serene and perfect place. Chris and Lisa were the kindest hosts that we could have asked for. They were friendly, knowledgeable and generous. They have spent numerous hours perfecting the B&B with extreme attention to detail. They were quite literally born to be the quintessential hosts. Breakfast was delicious and right out of a true gourmet restaurant. Coffee, homemade cookies, plenty of books and even a boutique full of gifts to take home were available. Most importantly, we found the peace and quiet time we were looking for. We would highly recommend Mount Victoria Bed & Breakfast Inn and have already decided to return after the deployment!! This was our first time ever to visit a bed and breakfast and I don't think we will even consider trying any other in Eureka Springs. The breakfast was excellent and the rooms are beautiful! Chris and Lisa go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. We will definitely be back!

Beautifull room that my wife and I fell in love with. Eating breakfast on the balcony was my favorite part. I loved watching the birds look for their meal while we ate ours. They had the friendliest cat (ping) that was hinting that he needed a bite to eat also. The room looked freshly decorated and was perfectly romantic. With fresh baked cookies waiting for us when we arrived. And three little rubber duckies sitting near the clawfoot bathtub that I could not resist squeaking to get a giggle from my bride of 24 years. My wife says that I have enough brownie points to last me till the next visit.

This B&B has absolutely ruined me for any other B&B. The rooms are beautiful, the food is fantastic, and Chris and Lisa truly care about the comfort of their guests. I can't say enough about this B&B. I will be back!!

I definitely recommend Mount Victoria B & B. It was a short walk to our favorite restaurant, Ermilio's. The owners are very nice and provide some extras that we loved like fresh baked cookies upon arrival, coffee prepared for us in the mornings, a gourmet breakfast, and a huge jacuzzi. Thanks for a wonderful, restful stay!!

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Mount Victoria. We purchased a baby moon package, which was well worth it. Our hosts Lisa & Chris are awesome- both very personable and friendly, hospitable and fun to be around. We would definitely return!

My husband and I stayed here for three nights in May and loved every second! We took advantage of their Rewards package. Look into it! :) Mount Victoria is on the beautiful Historic Loop (quiet) but just a few blocks from downtown Eureka Springs. If you dont' like to walk then there is a trolley stop that is across the street from the B&B and very, very convenient. The handsome, stately historic house is spotlessly clean and our room was beautiful, comfortable (great bed!) and clean. We stayed in the Saunders which offered a wonderful veranda that we enjoyed all three mornings and each afternoon and night too. :) Lisa & Chris are superb hosts who are very friendly and eager to help answer any questions and offer suggestions on where to go, what to see and where to eat. Lisa shared some of her favorite local favorites and they were spot-on! :) Breakfast each morning was like Christmas morning because we were so excited and couldn't wait to see what Chris delivered to our veranda! We had their take on Eggs Benedict with pork tenderloin and a fresh lemon sauce (out of this world) and Chris happily worked with my husband's vegetarian diet substituting fresh organic vegetables for the meat. We also had this amazing cheddar apple creation and smoked chicken frittatas (again, Chris substituted fresh organic vegetables for the chicken for my husband). All the breakfasts are served with delicious fresh organic fruit (ask Lisa to make her smoothies!) and another side item plus delicious orange juice and their incredible organic coffee. Just incredible food! :) We have already recommended Mount Victoria to several couples and family members and will continue to do so. This is a must stay in Eureka Springs and it is a wonderful value. It's the only place to stay! :) :) :)

Mount Victoria is the best in Eureka Springs!! The breakfasts alone are worth staying for! They are always fresh, unique, hot and delicious. They are better than any breakfast we've e-v-e-r had! Lisa & Chris are a wonderful couple whose personalities are totally different and compliment each other in the best way making people feel comfortable and welcome. They are always there if you need them and are more than happy to help you any way they can. We have stayed at the Mount Victoria Bed and Breakfast at least six times in the past four years. We have enjoyed all of our visits and each one is better than the last because Lisa and Chris are always enhancing the inn! This last visit they had added Waterford crystal stemware to the rooms, added an Eco-Flow massaging shower head to the room we always stay in, added a really wonderful gift shop, added a wine cellar (which is so convenient for people to store their wine they travel with) and they have an ice machine arriving soon! Yay! The location is perfect because it's only 3 blocks from downtown and 3 blocks from ERMILIO's restaurant which is a town favorite! We also love that we can walk just 1 block to an Aveda Spa where we enjoys massages (and facials for me) when we visit. We have stayed in all of the rooms and the Mazaret is our favorite! We love the private veranda to eat Chris' incredible breakfasts on and to have our wine and cheese in the afternoons. All of the rooms are beautiful but we love the Mazaret because of the claw foot tub and shower and the veranda. Lisa has done an amazing job decorating so don't let our favorite keep you from trying the other rooms! We can't wait to return in the Fall (Fall foliage in Eureka Springs is amazing) and be welcomed back to Mount Victoria by Lisa and Chris! Mount Victoria is somewhere you do not want to miss out on! Lisa & Chris, we'll see you again in October! Heather and Pat

My wife and I travel a lot and this B&B is like no other we have stayed in. The inn is beautiful. The breakfasts are comparable to those we've had in 5-star restaurants both in the US and abroad. Chris & Lisa are truly talented as the breakfasts are not only delicious but beautiful as well. From their fruit smoothies to their pork tenderloin Eggs Benedict to their homemade salsa to Lisa's cookies and cakes (I could go on and on and on) ....our plates are always "wiped clean!" They are incredibly friendly hosts and have mastered the art of being welcoming, informative and gracious all in one. The rooms are beautiful (Lisa has a real flare for decorating), always very clean and very relaxing. This past year they opened "Shoppe Mount Victoria" on the first floor of the inn and my wife loves to shop in there - Lisa has created a very unique store filled with endless one-of-a-kind items. We love Mount Victoria and you will too once you stay. We would never stay anywhere else in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Book It! (Steve M.)

My Husband and I fell in love with Eureka Springs when we arrived. We found Mount Victoria Bed & Breakfast when we got into town, and we were amazed how it looks in real life. After the sneak peak we explored the town, and had lunch at Local Flavor. Food was amazing. We checked in, and Chris gave us a wonderful welcome. We got setteled in our room the Jackson Suite. We relaxed, and went to dinner. Lisa and Chris told us where to go and called around for us because of the off season our choices were limited. Dinner was great at the Rouge Manner. We slept amazing, and I was so excited for breakfast. Breakfast arrived and the attention to detail blew us away. The flavorful meal filled us up with happy tummies, and shortly after we left. This was by far the best mini Vacation we have ever had. Thank you so much Lisa and Chris for such an amazing time. We look forward to our next visit.

We decided to come to Eureka Springs for our 6 month anniversary. I have 4 children and my boyfriend has 5. This was a welcome get-away. The room was spectacular (we stayed in the Clayton)...the decorating and design were very tasteful and eclectic. Having coffee ready for you in the morning and breakfast served at the door was lucious! It was perfect to lounge in our robes (provided) and nibble on our food and sip our coffee while we planned our visit to Eureka Springs. We are making plans to come back and stay during the Spring and Summer and Fall!

Everything about out stay at the Mount Victoria was perfect. It was so cozy and we felt right at home. I would highly recommend staying here. The food was wonderful and Chris and Lisa go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. They recommended places to eat dinner, helped us with directions, and Lisa even provided me with Lactaid (I'm lactose intolerant and forgot my pills). I am extremely impressed with the service we received. Also, the chocolate cake is to die for! Thanks again Chris and Lisa for such wonderful hospitality!

Everything was great! Wonderful service that really made the stay special. The rooms are beautiful and romantic (love Lisa's taste)! Breakfast was fabulous; yummy cookies in the afternoon and tea/water/cokes throughout the day really made things feel homey. Sweet dog and cats too! We are already trying to figure out when we can go back.

This was the first time my husband and I had stayed at a Bed and Breakfast, and we could not have asked for a better experience. The house was charming inside and out, the owners, Lisa and Chris, were friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was straight out of a five-star restaurant. Our room did not have a shower but included a roomy jacuzzi. This worked out fine for us since we only stayed for one night, but it might be worth seeking out a room with a shower if you plan to stay for multiple nights and/or if you prefer a shower to a bath. We truly felt like we were staying with good friends who happened to own a huge, beautiful home! Great place!

I decided to surprise my wife for our 1-year anniversary and stay in a bed & breakfast for the 1st time. I chose Mount Victoria based on a friend's recommendation, and cannot express enough how enjoyable the stay was for both of us! We stayed in the Mazaret suite October 28-30 and couldn't have selected a better time to view the beautiful fall foliage on the trees right outside of our window. The weather was a bit cool so we only enjoyed breakfast on the veranda the first morning, but we certainly spent a fair amount of time out there drinking coffee, listening to the fountain below, and enjoying the surroundings. Chris and Lisa were both incredibly hospitable, greeting us as we pulled into the drive. The room itself is incredibly cozy and you would be hard pressed to find a more comfortable bed. The breakfasts prepared by Chris were absolutely amazing and are worth the experience alone! Each morning we had nothing short of a feast to start the day, and both Lisa and Chris were very accommodating to my wife's gluten and dairy allergies. Each afternoon after strolling around Eureka Springs all day, they had prepared fresh mouth-watering cookies and cake that were also much appreciated. Neither of us really knew what to expect from a bed and breakfast but we will certainly be back many times to Mount Victoria!

We loved Mount Victoria so much the first time that when my husband and I had new vacation dates available with our jobs, Mount Victoria was the first vacation we planned again! We LOVE it here! Chris and Lisa are so friendly and helpful they make you feel like you're staying with friends. We loved walking to an italian restaurant just blocks from the inn, Ermilio's, and also our other favorite restaurant there, the Rogues Manor, which is also just blocks from Mount Victoria! The rooms are so luxurious and comfortable and the food is beyond words! The best breakfast EVER! (ask Chris to make his eggs benedict - the sauce is like no other you will ever have and he makes it with pork tenderloin!!) The Mount Victoria is 5stars all around - location, hosts, food, rooms, service, amenities .....it is simply FANTASTIC!

David & I first stayed at M.V. the first year Chris & Lisa purchased the inn - 5 years ago. Prior to that we had stayed at MANY inns in Eureka Springs as we come often. We stayed at many because we were unable to find what we were looking for...a home away from home. M.V. is just that for us!! Everything - and I do mean everything - is outstanding. Lisa & Chris are the best hosts we've ever met (and we travel a lot) as they've mastered the art of being professional yet friendly, down to earth and inviting without invading your privacy. The inn is perfect as it's beautiful & beautifully maintained. The location is ideal as it's walkable to downtown but away from the noise. Chris' breakfasts are THE BEST!! We've stayed in all the rooms & they're ALL beautifully decorated (Lisa has a true talent!) and comfty - I like to call it "Lisa's relaxed chic!" The beds are extra comfty, the linens superb & we love having the soft drinks, bottled water and Lisa's incredible cookies available to us 24 hours a day. This B&B is absolutely THE BEST in Eureka and if you don't stay here, you're simply missing out. Helpful Hint: Book in advance as they stay "booked!" Donna H., Tulsa.

Mount Victoria is the first B&B my wife and I have ever stayed in, and we are so glad we chose it for our short third year wedding anniversary getaway! The property is a beautiful Victorian mansion, with well appointed rooms (very clean!) and great verandas. Our room was comfortable and very romantic... with an extra comfy bed and a small town, yet luxurious feel. Lisa and Chris were lots of fun to be around, and the food was great! One of the yummiest breakfasts of all time! We would definitely recommend to anyone making the trip to Eureka Springs!! P.S. The second floor rooms have their own verandas - we loved ours! We ate their amazing breakfasts there each morning and relaxed there in the afternoons and evenings as well. Excellent!! (Sean and Zoe - Cleveland, OH)

Very nice bed and breakfast. Nice rooms and wonderful food. A little expensive though, and it would be much more convenient if the rooms had their own fridges. I personally didn't care for the bath tub either (too deep and hard to get in and out of).

Mount Victoria is a very nice B&B. The hubby and I loved the location, less than 1/2 mile walk to downtime. The area is very nice and quiet. My only complaint was that the walls are kinda thin but that's to be expected of an old house. The inn keepers were awesome and food was absolutely delicious. Would DEFINITELY stay again.

Our stay was extremely short (only one night), but most definitely left us trying to figure out a time to come back soon. Charming, clean, delicious food and very welcoming...All in the beautiful setting of Eureka Springs. What more could you want?

We chose to stay in the Saunders Suite during our Honeymoon stay in Eureka Springs. After seeing photos and reading reviews online regarding Mount Victoria Bed & Breakfast Inn, we were a little disappointed in the room itself. Maybe we just expected to much. But the room just didn't appear to be as lavish as we had expected. Chris greeted us and made us feel welcome and breakfast was great. We enjoyed our private porch and wanted to eat breakfast the next morning out there...but the weather was rainy and cool. We could've spent hours on the porch. We planned on staying 2 nights, but was homesick and ready to go home to get setteled into our new lives together. Thank you Chris for our first B&B experience.

Afternoon of September 15 thru 10:45 September 17 was the most relaxing, enjoyable time my husband and I've had in YEARS! Upon arrival we were greeted as guests and each morning served like Royalty. Chris took our diet concerns-even tho not a health issue-very seriously and tweaked the menu to meet our needs. Lisa's attention to detail in decoration and amenities was obvious in our room-the Saunders Suite. Everything was perfect-even the gift shop. We will certainly return within the next year.

My husband surprised me with a romantic getaway to Eureka Springs at The Mount Victoria for our anniversary. WOW! WOW! WOW! The inn is so beautiful, Lisa & Chris so friendly, the food SO delicious and everything so clean and picture perfect! Our room was perfect! The bed was SO comfortable and it was so beautiful, like something you'd see in a designing magazine. Everything was sparkly and shiny and so fresh smelling and clean! We LOVED The Mount Victoria and can't wait to come back!....for the hospitality, for the food and just to be lucky enough to have another romantic weekend at the best B&B we've ever stayed at! My wife and I spent our honeymoon night at Mt. Victoria. I opted for the silk petals and the bath package. When we arrived, we were stunned at the beauty of the room (Jackson Suite), but I was somewhat disappointed with the quality of the two packages considering the hefty pricetag. The inroom Jacuzzi was wonderful when we finally found the timer hidden in the corner of the bathroom (when we arrived, no one was there to greet us and show us to the room, so we found it on our own and settled in). Breakfast was WONDERFUL, but the free coffee and snacks were nothing to be excited about. All in all, a great stay, but we expected a more personal and romantic experience for the money.

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and won't even consider another b&b. This was our first time to stay at one and once the bar has been set so high, we cannot imagine another place coming close. The house is such a neat building and meticulously maintained and beautiful. They do not make them like this anymore. Chris and Lisa were so very accommodating and hospitable that it felt like we were at a relative's house. The food is delicious and has that intangible quality you get only from home cooking. They have two cats, Ping and Pong. The cats are very friendly and sweet. I think Chris and Lisa have everything you could possibly need for a great time away from home. My wife and I had such a great time that we are going back in October. If you've never been to this b&b, or if it will be your first time staying at a b&b, we think this will be the place when visiting Eureka Springs. One last thing is this: if you are going to take a ghost tour, or just want to visit The Crescent Hotel, it might be a block away from Mt. Victoria. My wife and I we thrilled to learn this and even though it was too hot to walk there during the heat wave in July '11, when we go back in October, we will be walking to our next ghost tour. Oh, and the parking can't be beat! No parking on the street at this b&b. They have plenty of space on their property so you don't have to worry about someone accidentally hitting your vehicle while parked on the street.

We felt welcome from the moment we walked through the door. Chris greeted us and showed us to our room. Chris made a wonderful, moist butter cake with a powdered sugar icing, and we couldn't get enough...I think we almost ate the entire cake :-) The room was very clean and comfortable and we had a great night's sleep....and then for the best part...BREAKFAST! Chris' version of eggs benedict was the best breakfast we have ever eaten. It was a huge portion and was a beautiful presentation. We will definitely return to Mount Victoria. Thank you Chris & Lisa.

This B&B is nothing short of magnificent and the innkeepers, Lisa & Chris, are an absolute delight. They go the extra mile for their guests and it's easy to see why they have all the awards they do. This was our third visit this year (there will be more!) and we love it more each time! The only room we haven't stayed in is the Mazaret and it will be the next one! The rooms are so beautiful and charming and decorated with Lisa's unique style. The beds...we never want to get out of them! The food is out of this world as is the entire B&B. Perfect location as you can walk to downtown or to our two favorite restaurants, Ermilio's and Rogue's Manor. There's a super convenient trolley stop across from the B&B if you don't like to walk. We would recommend Mount Victoria to everyone!....and we do! Margaret and Sean (July, 2011)

The Mount Victoria is the best Eureka Springs has to offer! We've stayed at many B&B's in Eureka Springs (we were searching for one we could call home away from home) and we FINALLY found it!! Chris & Lisa are the best hosts (we felt like old friends) and Chris' breakfast is THE BEST we've ever had! (ask him to make his version of Eggs Benedict! ....paired with Lisa's smoothies ----incredible!!!!) Oh, and we can't rave enough about Lisa's cookies! We stayed in the Clayton on the third floor and we loved, loved, loved it! The bed was incredibly comfortable, the linens high end and dreamy and our room, as was The Mount Victoria, super clean! This B&B is a must for a romantic getaway. If you don't stay at The Mount Victoria, your're not staying at the best B&B in Eureka Springs!!
4.6 on July 10, 2011
Being our first true stay at a B&B we were not sure what to expect. All we can say now is that any other B&B we may stay at in the future will have a very high standard to live up to. We loved the option of breakfast in room or out on the veranda instead of in the formal dining room, and Chris makes a wonderful breakfast!!! Staying at the Mount Victoria B&B was very relaxing and laid back. We enjoyed our conversations with Chris who seemed like an old friend the moment we met him and Lisa's cookies each day really hit the spot.

A nice comfortable, quiet place. The food was outstanding and very large quantities. Breakfast served on our private veranda was wonderful. Only complaint - the mattress and pillows were not very comfortable and the bedding wasn't the quality I would expect at a B&B. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay!

This was the 3rd stay at Mount Victoria in 2 years, 2 stays have been in the past 2 months. This inn never disappoints and somehow each visit is better than the last. Chris's breakfasts are amazing to say the least and unlike anything else and Lisa's hospitality and sweet treats are fabulous. The inn's cats Ping and Pong and Molly puppy are adorable too. The rooms make you never want to leave and I think I sleep better at Mount Victoria than at home. Cannot wait to go back again this year!

This B&B is so amazing! Be careful - if you stay here, you will never be able to happily stay at any other B&B out there! Chris and Lisa don't miss a detail - and they love to spoil and pamper their guests. I used to stay at a different hotel or B&B every time I came to Eureka, until I discovered Mt. Victoria. Now, it's the only place I'll stay! Thank you, Lisa and Chris! Fondly, Katherine From Little Rock

My husband and I recently stayed at this beautiful B&B for a three day romantic vacation. I can't say enough good things. Chris and Lisa are super friendly down to earth hosts but not invasive of your privacy and very helpful / informative about Eureka Springs. Our room was just so beautiful with so many personal touches - it was straight out of a magazine (we stayed in the Mazaret) and extremely clean as was the entire inn. The gourmet breakfasts were the best we have ever had at a B&B or at a 5 star restaurant ...period. The Mount Victoria offered so many amenities which made the value outstanding (the plush robes, shampoo & conditioner, the complimentary drinks available 24-7, complimentary cake / cookies / teas / ciders available 24-7, the huge DVD library, etc.) We have stayed at many B&B and this is, hands down, our new favorite. The inn was full with six other very happy guests, who we visited with fairly often, and I can tell you that they all felt as we did ...everything was perfect! We loved that we could easily walk to the downtown area as well as to local restaurants and we loved our veranda where we watched carriage horses go by the inn in the evening. We loved everything! We were sad to leave and we can't wait to return!!

WOW! I believe that is fair to start off this review of the Mount Victoria Bed & Breakfast Inn. This was our first time to stay at a bed and breakfast and it sure won’t be our last. We enjoyed every minute of our visit. All of our needs were attended to which made our engagement getaway truly something to remember. The Inn was just as described and the food... well, words can’t describe it. I love to cook and therefore I can be very picky at times but the food here is fantastic, far beyond my expectations. With all things said, I would highly recommend Mount Victoria Bed & Breakfast Inn to my family and friends and for your next visit to Eureka Springs because you just won’t get the attention to detail anywhere else as you do here. Michelle & David Little Rock, AR.

We stayed at The Mount Victoria for 3 romantic nights. Everything was fantastic from beginning to end! Lisa & Chris, the owners, greeted us when we pulled up and were fantastic from the moment we arrived until we sadly left. They were super friendly, helpful and cheery! We stayed in the beautiful Saunders Suite which is on the second floor and has a veranda. The suite was so lovely! Lots of antiques. Lots of lamps. Lots of space. The bed was super comfortable with lots of pillows - it was hard for us to crawl out of it every morning! We loved the huge DVD selection available and watched movies one night and munched on Lisa's cookies! Complimentary soft drinks and bottled water are in a small fridge on the second floor along with Lisa's amazing cookies! We also loved the complimentary WIFI! You've never had breakfast until you've had breakfast at Mount Victoria! It's easy to see why their breakfast got them in "Southern Living!" They take breakfast to the next level. Nothing but absolute deliciousness!! There is really no way to describe their breakfasts other than to say they are amazing, delicious, unique, beautifully presented and oh so filling - we never ate lunch! (ask Chris to make his Eggs Benedict with Lisa's fresh fruit smoothies - it is like none you have ever had! we wanted to drink his homemade sauce along with Lisa's smoothies!!) We were completely satisfied with every detail of our stay and felt it was the best money we have spent on a romantic getaway. We WILL be back and my only advice to people reading this review is ....stay here!! It is ALL fantastic!! Ryan, Oklahoma City

When we visited beautiful Eureka Springs last fall, we did not love our first bed and breakfast experience (at another establishment). But Mount Victoria has converted us! From the open and welcoming feel evident upon our arrival, to the attention to detail in the lovingly decorated and appointed suite, to the over-the-top amazing breakfasts, we enjoyed our stay from beginning to end. When Lisa saw we had a bottle of wine one afternoon, she offered to put it on ice and have it waiting for us when we returned from dinner. When one coffeemaker ran out of delicious brew in the morning, Chris promptly pointed me in the direction of a full machine just down the stairs. Every expressed desire was attended to, and with the kind of effortless hospitality you would expect from staying with friends. I'm not sure exactly how these innkeepers do it, but they have a gift for welcoming visitors, and we will definitely be planning a return trip to their charming and gracious home. Thank you, Mount Victoria!

The owners, Lisa and Chris were the friendliest, gracious, most down to earth hosts and their home, their B&B, was gorgeous! We have been to many B&B's and this was, hands down, the most beautiful, comfortable and inviting. It is easy to see why they have received all of the awards they have. Breakfast each morning was one of our most favorite things about our vaycay! Their breakfast is a large, gourmet, mouth watering event that is beautifully presented. We had never had waffles and chicken before (organic chicken mind you!) that was topped with cheddar cheese and an omelet and served on top of the best, richest syrup we've ever had....but we decided it's one of our new favorite things! The next day we had their smoked turkey pastry (it was topped with Jerusalem salad and served with rosemary potatoes and tons of fresh fruit) that put their B&B in Southern Living magazine!! Chris actually smokes the meat - we were welcomed home by the smell coming from their private side yard one afternoon! It was absolutely unbelievable!! We never ate lunch on both days! The B&B also has a perfect location as it's only a few blocks from downtown so you can walk. Lisa made dinner reservations for us, massage appointments for us and also offered lots of shopping and activity suggestions - she was so helpful and fun! We had such a wonderful time and are already planning a return visit in the Fall! This B&B Is Outstanding As Are Lisa & Chris!!

My wife and I were looking for a little romance, a little peace and a little relaxation and we found it at Mount Victoria! Lisa & Chris are the perfect Southern hosts and others should learn from their Southern hospitality. They have thought of everything! We felt so welcome from the moment we arrived and Lisa greeted us with a wave and her million dollar smile from the veranda. The inn is beautifully decorated and the breakfasts were the best we have EVER, EVER had! We stayed in the Saunders suite and the bed was so comfortable we didn't want to get out of it each morning! Lisa & Chris have covered every detail (and more!) and made us feel like a King & Queen for two days - we wanted for absolutely nothing. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

We came for just one night last weekend and had a wonderful time! The house is decorated with such love and the rooms are very comfortable. My husband was not very excited at the idea of a B and B and he's now ready to plan another trip! The breakfast was to die for! Mount Victoria exceeded my expectations!

We loved Mount Victoria! It's a beautiful B&B owned by the fabulous Lisa & Chris and is only a few blocks from the downtown shopping area and is beautifully decorated (and very clean) but what we loved the most was the FOOD! We stayed for 3 nights and took advantage of the option to order Chris' cheeseburgers one night and the inn's private dinner another night. We ate at some of Eureka Springs' more popular restaurants but, I assure, you the food we at at Mount Victoria was far superior! Their breakfast is in a class by itself. It is unbelievable! The quality and quantity are amazing and it looks almost too pretty to eat! Chris' cheeseburgers were THE BEST and we ordered Lisa's milkshakes and were in HEAVEN! Our private dinner was just that - it was private and romantic with candelight and music softly playing. We had the artichoke and olive crostini as our appetizer (yumm), I had the creamy fettucine (so, so good) and my husband had the Miso glazed chicken (he could not stop raving about it). Again, all this food was better than a-n-y we ate at the restaurants in Eureka Springs! We loved our room and the whole feel of the inn. Lisa & Chris have perfected the art of being available if you need them and very helpful but also respecting your privacy. We have been to a lot of B&B's and we can honestly say, Mount Victoria is the BEST! - the best food, the best hosts and the best all around romantic getaway we have ever had. Do not miss out on staying at this beautiful inn! We will be back!

Mount Victoria was exactly what we needed. We were seeking romance and charm and found it! What a great time we had! The inn's decor is beautiful. We stayed in the Clayton and absolutely loved the way Lisa decorated it - she has a great style that mixes traditional with fun. Our room was large and super clean and the bed super comfortable. The breakfast (brought to our room) exceptional! We've never had such a good breakfast....anywhere!! Lisa's cookies are to die for! We can't thank Lisa & Chris enough for providing us with just what we needed! EVERYTHING WAS OUTSTANDING!! THANK YOU!! Shannon & Curt

My wife and I recently spent the first two nights of our honeymoon at the Mount Victoria. It was everything we expected and more. I had done a lot of research online prior to picking the Inn and was pleased to find it every bit as beautiful as the pictures on their website. We stayed in the Mazaret because when I called to ask about the difference in the rooms Lisa explained it was her favorite so I took her advice. I was not disappointed. It was spacious and beautiful and comfortable. We especially loved the antique clawfoot tub with rubber ducks and our private veranda. Lisa & Chris' service was exceptional. Breakfast was yummy and unlike some places we didn't have to get up at 8:00 a.m. to get it. Chris brought our breakfast to us each morning on our veranda at 9:00 a.m. and my wife loved being able to eat privately in the super comfty robes they provide. The inn is only a few blocks from downtown Eureka Springs and we loved that we could so easily walk to shop and take in the town. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and prelude to our tropical honeymoon and we will definitely stay there again.

I enjoyed my stay for two nights while on a business meeting. The accomodations were very good with lots of attention to detail. The breakfast was the best breakfast I ever had! Even the Orange Cake evening dessert was outstanding. I hope to come back.

I purchased a romantic package for my wife for the weekend before Valentines Day. Lisa was so helpful over the phone making sure everything would be exactly as I wanted it when we arrived as this was a surprise for my wife. Upon arriving, we could not have been happier! Mount Victoria is beautiful (even in the Winter while the grounds and trees are sleeping) and Lisa and Chris are unbelievably friendly and down to earth hosts. We both immediately felt relaxed and "at home" and I was delighted to see my wife so happy! Their amazing breakfasts were served in our room each morning (for no extra charge) and looked like pictures you'd see in food magazines! Chris has a Big Green Egg he smokes turkey on for one of their breakfast entrees and that breakfast was one of the best breakfasts we have ever had. We returned home from downtown shopping one afternoon and he was in their private side yard with the amazing smell of the smoked turkey in the air! He is a very talented chef. Our room (we stayed in the Saunders) was very lovely with a super comfortable bed and super soft sheets and beautiful furniture. We loved our big jacuzzi and bath salts. Lisa's unique style is readily seen throughout the inn and it was one of the things we loved the most about Mount Victoria. My wife just really enjoyed relaxing in our room and looking at everything! We were entirely pleased with everything about this B&B including the location as they are within a short walking distance to downtown and to a really great Italian restaurant that Lisa & Chris told us was Eureka Springs' most popular and recommended. It was great! We have already recommended Mount Victoria to all our friends and we will be back! It was worth every penny! (Dennis & Zoe)

Lisa & Chris are remarkable hosts. Their attention to detail and willingness to help at any time was fully appreciated. The Inn is very clean and very comfortable. The location and value are outstanding. The Mount Victoria has a superb location as you can easily walk to downtown - just about 3 blocks to town. We have stayed at many B&B's and can honestly say The Mount Victoria is an outstanding value. Everything we wanted or needed (and more!) was at our fingertips paired with unmatched quality. The verandas are great places to people watch (we enjoyed watching the horse drawn carriages go by the inn at night) or relax and read a book. Staying at The Mount Victoria was a real treat from the hospitality to the amazing breakfasts and just the inn itself - we wanted for absolutely nothing and could not have hoped for more. Don't miss out by not staying here - you will see why they have won all their awards - each very well deserved. We will be back again and again!

We had the opportunity to stay with Lisa and Chris on Valentine's Weekend this year. The inn was cozy and warm, a perfect contrast to the 10 inches of snow they had recieved that week. I pre-ordered fruit and champagne, that had been lovingly placed en suite. And was greatly appreciated after the drive from Little Rock. We settled in and took the bottle down stairs to share with the Lisa, Chris (and Molly). Ever the gracious and most accommodating couple you could hope to leave charge of your romantic get away weekend. We truly felt that we were their TOP priority. Attention to detail is is not a goal, it is a way of life for this young handsome couple. In the evenings we enjoyed delicious moist cakes with a selection of teas and then fought the urge to rush to bed in anticipation of the following morning's breakfast. Which after all this IS a Bed and BREAKFAST, no small detail. Morning arrives with the aroma of fresh coffee gently waking you and your senses. Then there it is the knocking on the door... It is Chris with his morning offering. What can be better than waking after a good nights sleep, to a good looking man, delivering a lovingly prepaired gourmet breakfast? In short Mount Victoria B & B was truly a wonderful experience. One that must be revisited.

Mount Victoria is a brilliantly executing Bed & Breakfast with attentive but unobtrusive hosts and delicious breakfasts. Many of our best times were spent at Mount Victoria and dramatically increased the enjoyment of our time in Eureka. Chris and Lisa take great care to ensure you are comfortable and have everything you'd like during your stay, but are also respectful of privacy. The option to have breakfast in your room rather than the dining area is quite nice, especially if you're wanting a more romantic, one on one style of trip. Adding to the experience in your room is a small 19" TV with a DVD player. This was great for a late night movie and wine, or watching Bob Ross over breakfast. Those happy trees lead to a pretty damn good day. Chris's breakfast was delicious and he would adjust according to your dietary needs, or simply a desire for substitutions. He brought his nicely prepared plates to our room each morning with a decanter of orange juice. Coffee is available from 7am to 9am, with other times being by request. Apple cider, bottled water, soda, and teas are available 'round the clock. They also have rich, moist chocolate cake sitting out for guests at all times. Goes wonderfully with that late night movie. The value is a bit tricky, as it is without a doubt one of the top B&B in the area. However, others are consistently around $50 less per night than Mount Victoria. We had looked on this website and called around before booking our room, so we were aware of the price difference before booking. Having spent the extra money, I can happily say we made the right decision, but I also wouldn't say we got a deal. I believe the price point is just about where it should be, so it met my expectations. If you have a bit of extra money for your trip, I recommend you spend it here. We were thrilled with our trip and lucky to experience a couple nights of luxury at Mount Victoria.

I received a gift certificate for a weekend stay at Mount Bed & Breakfast as a birthday present. What a delightful birthday present! Lisa & Chris welcome you from the first phone call to the moment you arrive at this beautiful inn. As soon as we walked in, we could feel the warmth of the inn. Their friendly attitudes caused us to relax, unwind, and feel right at home. The food is so wonderful and if you have special dietary needs they go the extra mile to please. I can't think of one thing we didn't like! We felt truly welcomed and pampered! A stay at Mount Victoria will satisfy even the most discriminating visitor. Thank you Lisa & Chris for making my birthday so memorable. We can't wait to come back! (Jenny B.)

My husband & I were celebrating our fifth anniversary and decided to go to Eureka Springs. Staying at Mount Victoria was the best part of our trip to Eureka Springs. Lisa & Chris' friendly attitude and warm nature made us feel welcome and at home like we were visiting favorite relatives. The atmosphere is fantastic, our room was gorgeous and the entire in is beautiful. Lisa has done an incredible job of decorating - I left with lots of ideas for our own home. Their food is unbelievable (we also ordered their cheeseburgers and they were the best we have EVER had) and their help each morning as we were planning our day was so helpful - they were sincerely interested in what we wanted to do and wanted to make sure we had a great trip and enjoyed the town. Lisa's dinner recommendations were excellent both nights - be sure and ask her if you're not sure and trying to decide between a few restaurants - she won't steer you wrong. We will definitely be back and it will be because of Lisa, Chris and the Mount Victoria. (p.s. their margaritas, which we ordered with our cheeseburgers, are most excellent!!)

I had the good fortune to stay at Mount Victoria in December, 2010. This inn was impecable all the way around. Jazz music softly played in the living room when I checked in and was greeted by Lisa & Chris, the owners and our outstanding hosts. I had a 3rd floor Jacuzzi suite that had the best bed of any inn I've ever stayed. The decor was elegant and warm. Breakfast was so good - I had read reviews about how much other guests liked it and they were right. They are both talented in the kitchen and I never ate lunch. It was Lisa & Chris that really sets this inn apart. Professional, friendly, helpful, courteous but unpretensious. Every need was taken care of immediately. Recommendations for dining were superb. I liked the small things - a chocolate on my pillow each day, fresh ground coffee, Lisa's amazing homemade cookies (ask her to make the orange cookies) and their dog Molly. This was five star service that came easily. I can't wait to return.

I took my wife to stay at the Mount Victoria for our one year anniversary and it was wonderful. Chris and Lisa did a great job on truly providing a relaxing romantic atmosphere. The breakfast each morning was some of the best I have ever experienced. I recommend Mount Victoria for anyone looking for a quality bed and breakfast.

My Mother and I stayed at this amazing Inn in Eureka Springs. Lisa & Chris are the most gracious and fun people I've met in a long time! The rooms in the Inn are absolutely gorgeous and the beds super comfortable with lovely linens. Lisa decorated the entire house herself, and she has created a very warm, homey and charming Inn. The breakfasts are to die for! They cook them all, and they have so much food you can't possibly finish it all. It's absolutely delicious and presented beautifully. I will continue to recommend the Mount Victoria Inn to any and all vistors to Eureka Springs. Lisa & Chris will make your trip an incredible one!

This was absolutely the best bed and breakfast we've ever stayed at in Eureka Springs. We tried several times to stay at this inn but they were always booked /full. This time we made our reservation far enough in advance (3 months) and let me tell you - it was worth the wait! Oh my goodness!! Our room was immaculate.....you could do surgery in it - spotless. Having stayed at several other inns in Eureka Springs (because we weren't happy with any of the ones we tried before to return for another visit) I can tell you this inn offers so, so much more than others and the value is unmatched. They have a refrigerator with soft drinks and water (other inns offered us 2 cokes and 2 waters in our room when we arrived...and that was it), amazing homemade cookies on top of the refrigerator (not 2 bags of chips or crackers in your room when you arrive like other inns), tons of teas and hot chocolates and cider mixes to chose from (never stayed at another inn in Eureka Springs that offered that) hundreds (yes, I'm being serious) of DVD movies (yes - DVD's, not VHS movies - and you don't have to turn the box in to the hosts to rent a movie - they are all just right there for you), and lots of books and magazines for all the guests to enjoy - again, not something we ever encountered at other inns in Eureka Springs. You feel so at home at this inn. The breakfasts were like no other - picture perfect (like something you'd see in a magazine) and very, very, very delicious!! The inn is clean, beautifully decorated, warm and welcoming. Chris and Lisa are the perfect hosts....warm, friendly and very accommodating. I highly recommend the Mount Victoria Bed & Breakfast Inn to anyone looking for the best, high quality bed and breakfast in Eureka Springs. We will NEVER stay anywhere else in Eureka Springs now that we've found Mount Victoria and Lisa and Chris!! We booked our next visit before we left!!!

Every element in the room was completed with thoughtful detail that added to the delight of staying at Mount Victoria that entertained me as a guest and made me feel at home and added to the romantic quality of our stay. The quality created by Chris & Lisa attracted other guests that we enjoyed and again at dinner and in town during the next day adding to the feeling of comfort and belonging from Mt. Victoria into the village of Eureka Springs. ....a feeling of pure abundance in every way!

I had my small wedding at the Mount Victoria and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding day. I liked Lisa instantly and felt a connection with her the moment I met her. She planned a small wedding for my closest friends and family (12 guests + my husband and I), and somehow managed to stick to our small budget. I didn't have to help with any of the planning at all--just notify her of any questions or changes. It was totally stress-free, which is exactly what I wanted. The weather was sunny and cool, and the lawn was decorated beautifully for the occasion. We had both warm and cold hors d'oeuvres, a gourmet cake that their pastry chef made exactly like the picture I found in a high end magazine and emailed Lisa, champagne and homemade sangria. The food was elegant and delicious, and everyone seemed to have a different favorite dish. We stayed in the Clayton suite, which looks exactly like the photos but even better, warmer and more fabulous in person. I loved the Bed and Breakfast's location because we were removed from the noise of downtown which meant we had plenty of privacy and peace and quiet. But we were still in walking distance from everything. We never moved the car the entire weekend we stayed. Lisa & Chris treated us like family, and by the end of our stay we didn't want to leave. My husband and I will definitely stay there again, if not for our one year anniversary, then before. I would recommend it to anyone looking to get married in a private and romantic setting and be pampered by excellent hosts.

My husband and I stayed here and immediately felt comfortable. We are coming back again in February. The house is historic, beautiful and peaceful. Our room was quiet and elegantly decorated, and we appreciated all the books and local magazines to look through and what seemed like endless movies to choose from. The breakfasts were made up of the freshest ingredients and deliciously prepared. It feels like visiting a relative's huge, beautiful home. The innkeepers, Lisa and Chris, were delightful, friendly, helpful, and obviously enjoy what they do. You can definitely feel that in the atmosphere. If you are visiting in the warmer months, they have lovely verandas overlooking the gardens, which won the town's garden of the season award this year, where you can have breakfast, tea, or an evening refreshment. Lisa and Chris do everything at this inn, including the gardening, and their passions shine through. We high recommend Mount Victoria and can't wait to return!

How anyone can give below a perfect score is beyond me. I am one picky guy, and from the moment my wife and I arrived we were treated like old friends. The bed was luscious, the room perfect, the food scrumptious, and...the Jacuzzi enormous and perfect. We loved our veranda where we ate breakfast both mornings. I recommend this inn, adn as well be sure to hit up Rogues Manor, 3 blocks away for dinner and ask for Franco to be your server. And as well, Mud Street Cafe had great sandwiches and coffee for lunch - Chris and Lisa's breakfast is so large, and good, you might not even eat lunch - we didn't one day!

Eureka Springs is filled with B&B's so there were lots of choices to choose from. We could not have made a better choice!! Our stay started as we were greeted at the porch by our wonderful Hostess Lisa then shown around this beautiful home. We were amazed at the size of the room and the way it was decorated was truley memorable. We had a private breakfast the first morning on our private porch, wow... best breakfast in a long long time! It is truely wonderful to have a chef (Thanks Chris) make you breakfast in the morning. The location was just right, not on the main street in town and not far enough away that you could not walk to do and see things. I can say that we had a perfect 2 night stay at this wonderful B&B and we will recommend it to everyone we tell about Eureka Springs.

We just returned from a weekend getaway at Mount Victoria. It was amazing. We had never been to a B&B before due to my slight obsession with cleanliness-- however this place was immaculate. The rooms were so cozy and beautifully decorated. Every corner was spotless and the decor was modern yet filled with all of Lisa and Chris's family antiques. The breakfasts and cookies were so delicious and Lisa and Chris, as well as other guests, made this trip feel like we were visiting family. We really enjoyed Social Hour --delicious appetizers and refreshments---as well as visiting with the other guests and Lisa and Chris. It was wonderful and we are definitely going back. We intend to try every room at least once! P.S. We stayed in the Clayton.

We had one of the most romantic and memorable honeymoons at the Mount Victoria Inn. During our four day stay, we had the opportunity to experience exquisite breakfasts, charming and sophisticated hosts, all of the comforts of home, and the creation of memories which will last throughout our lives. Lisa & Chris start the day with an out of this world gourmet breakfast and delightful conversation. We thoroughly enjoyed the Inn's Social Hour - Lisa's delicious food and visiting with the other guests, and Lisa & Chris, on the veranda was a perfect end to our afternoon! We cannot say enough about how charming the Inn feels. The decor makes you feel relaxed. The ambiance allows you to believe you have escaped the troubles of the world. The Mount Victoria is only a few blocks away from the heart of downtown Eureka Springs and great restaurants as well. There are too many local places of interest to list, but you will not lack filling your day with interesting experiences. The rates are much lower than expected, given the service and amenities you receive. We compared almost every Inn in Eureka Springs and chose Mount Victoria. Having the opportunity to talk to returning guests who have stayed at other Inns, we know we made the perfect decision. Thank you Lisa & Chris for the perfect honeymoon and having us as guests in your beautiful home. We'll be back!

My husband and I and friends from England visited Eureka Springs in August so they could experience "the South". We discovered a treasure in this small, absolutely lovely Inn. It is exquisite in every detail, without being "stuffy" in the least. This is due to the owners Lisa & Chris; they make you feel welcome from the first contact in booking until the minute you leave. They are interesting, talented and just the best hosts you can imagine. Our rooms (we were on the second floor) were so beautifully decorate, immaculately clean and large - we were just in heaven! We hated to leave, and will definitely return when we visit Eureka Springs again. Location, accommodations, food and conversation all made this a truly special stay, and our English friends were enchanted with the city and the Inn. If you have a chance, don't miss this treasure in Eureka Springs and Lisa & Chris!

I loved staying at the Mount Victoria B&B because there was something beautiful to enjoy in every nook and cranny. There is a lovely place to have breakfast or a quiet time on the veranda; a peaceful garden and fountain; and interesting decor from floor to ceiling. Breakfast was amazing; a work of art in itself. I highly recommend this beautiful B&B!

We had the luxury of staying at the Mount Victoria and we were so impressed! The inn is an amazing place to stay for a long romantic weekend. My boyfriend proposed to me on the balcony of our suite!!! He later told me Lisa & Chris were instrumental in arranging all the important details for his proposal. They are wonderful hosts and so genuine and helpful. We felt so "at home" and comfortable. The room was spacious and clean and decorated beautifully. Breakfast each morning was so impressive we felt like we were at a five star restaurant! They do an amazing job. I highly recommend the Mount Victoria for that special get away weekend. We WILL be back!

My husband and I just, sadly, left Mount Victoria for what was a most excellent romantic trip. The first visit we had was in May of 2009 and we had such a wonderful experience last time we decided to stay there again. The B&B is run by a lovely couple, Lisa & Chris. The couple was actually married at their B&B last year and the love they have for the place shows. It's a beautiful property. The breakfast in the mornings is incredible. It's the best food we eat while in Eureka Springs. We stayed in the Saunders last year and the Clayton this year and they're both spacious and beautiful due to Lisa's wonderful decorating talent. I highly recommend Mount Victoria to anyone looking for only the best in Eureka Springs! This is IT!

My husband and I spent two wonderful days at Mount Victoria and were truly made to feel like welcome guests by Lisa & Chris. They provided great tips on hiking options and other activities in the town as well as excellent advice on dining locations. Our room (Mazaret) was very large (important to me!) and beautifully decorated with a super comfty bed, lovely linens and a wonderful veranda. The breakfast was fabulous and scrumptious -- out of this world pork tenderloin eggs benedict with an amazing lemon butter sauce one morning and a smoked chicken pastry that Chris smoked on his Big Green Egg in the backyard which we could smell one afternoon from our veranda! And Lisa's cookies are downright sinful. The inn is only a three block walk from the top of downtown Eureka Springs so its' really convenient to the great galleries, shops and restaurants. Don't miss Mount Victoria and Lisa & Chris --it doesn't get any better!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Our stay here was absolutely lovely and Lisa & Chris went out of their way to make certain our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable. We had originally expected to arrive at the inn around seven o'clock - at eight o'clock, Lisa phoned us on our cell and realizing how far off we were, she offered to make a fruit and cheese platter for us to eat when we arrived because she explained most restaurants closed at nine o'clock. When we did finally arrive, Lisa & Chris had our room awaiting along with a huge, fresh fruit and cheese platter with crackers and a bottle of champagne (which I asked for when she called us and she went and bought for us). This wonderful personal attention carried through our entire stay - from bright greetings in the morning and cheerful breakfast conversations (breakfast is so amazing!!!); to recommendations on places to eat and things to do and see; to making us feel comfortable and at home. When we left, we actually felt like we were leaving behind old friends and we loved Molly too! We will be back!

Ample, private parking on site, social hour on Saturday afternoon, recommendations for dinner (plus Lisa being every so helpful making those reservations), beautiful and delicious breakfast, super friendly hosts, absolutely beautifully decorated rooms, heavenly huge Jacuzzi - What else could you possibly want? My husband I are returning next year to continue exploring Eureka Springs. The Mount Victoria, and Chris and Lisa, were a big part in our wanting to return. We loved this place!!!

Mount Victoria is our home away from home for the past two years. Lisa and Chris are super friendly, down to earth hosts that know the best places to shop and eat in Eureka Springs and Chris is very knowledgeable about other things pertaining to Eureka Springs and, much to my husband's delight, sports too! Their food is so amazing. We always order the private dinner and it is always the best food we eat while in Eureka Springs not to mention, of course, their breakfast. This B&B is exactly what you expect when you want the comfort and charm of the past and present mixed. Lisa has done a wonderful job decorating the B&B that ties them together as it is just beautiful. All the guests we've met during our stays at the inn are happy, relaxed and pampered. The Mount Victoria is definitely our place of choice away from home!

We have just returned from a three day stay at the Mount Victoria Bed and Breafkast. The owners, Lisa and Chris, are wonderful and accomidating and a lot of fun. We really enjoyed their social hour and getting to know the other guests. Our room (the Mazaret) was very large with a bed that was so comfortable we could have stayed all day. The house is large so there is very little noise from other guests. This house is on the historic loop and just a short walk to the shopping on Spring street downtown and a delightful restaurant called Ermilios where we ate twice because we liked it so much. No food we ate compared to the food at Mount Victoria. Lisa and Chris are such good cooks and we had our breakfast on our private veranda every morning and Chris's cheeseburgers one night too. If you have the chance stay at Mount Victoria because you won't be disappointed.

The inn is in a great location, the decor is beautiful, and it has a very cool history and feel to it. We felt totally comfortable and "at home" and pampered all at the same time. We really enjoyed the DVD selection (soooooo many to chose from!) and our room, the jackson, was gorgeous. Although we were on vacation we still had to check our email from time to time and the complimentary WIFI was a bonus and we had a really good signal all the way on the third floor too. The breakfasts were the best we have ever had. Lisa and Chris were so friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. My husband and I would never consider staying anywhere else in Eureka Springs and we highly recommend this wonderful inn.

It's really hard to put into words the level of comfort and hospitality we've recieved on our many trips to the Mount Victoria. If you're the type of person who enjoys beautiful surroundings, luxury, outstanding food and service then Mount Victoria is for you! We discovered the inn about two years ago and have visited Lisa & Chris 7 or 8 times since. We love the Mazaret and the balcony that comes with it because we like to eat our breakfast outside and Chris makes the most to-die-for breakfasts!! You won't need to eat lunch! The food is absolutely fantastic and we really enjoy their social hours. Lisa's food for the social hours is amazing! Lisa & Chris do an excellent job of making us feel like we are part of the family. WE LOVE IT!! ...Traci and Steve in Missouri

WOW!! We have stayed in B&Bs everywhere and The Mount Victoria ranks at the very, very, very top. Lisa & Chris' warmth and graciousness made us feel like family within minutes. Their beautiful family furnishings, comfortable bed with freshly pressed sheets, squeaky clean cleanliness, quiet and romantic surroundings and attention to every amazing detail made this a truly remarkable discovery. The breakfasts are so plentiful, wonderful....they are just decadent! We had so much fun with Lisa and Chris and the other guests at the inn's social hour....Lisa's food kept us going back for more and more and her mango margaritas were incredible - my husband had their lemon ice tea - and we loved the music playing in the background. We could not have asked for a better way to spend our 4th of July holiday - we had such a great time that we booked for next year before we left! This was truly an amazing experience! Kara & Brad

What more can I say about this beautiful bed and breakfast inn? My husband and I came for a three day vacation and did not want to go home! Mount Victoria is beautiful from when you first arrive and once you enter the inn it just gets better and better - it's so stylish and relaxing and "makes you feel so relaxed and comfortable." Lisa and Chris are the best hosts. We have stayed at a lot of bed and breakfasts and have never met such down to earth, helpful, genuine innkeepers. The food deserves a review all on its own! Chris is so talented! We could not wait for breakfast every morning to see what we were having and we were NEVER disappointed! Our room was super clean, super beautiful and relaxing and we loved eating our breakfast on our veranda in the mornings. We will never stay anywhere else in Eureka Springs now that we've found Lisa & Chris at Mount Victoria!!

We have been staying at Mount Victoria since 2007. We just returned home from an OUTSTANDING stay in Eureka Springs. It was the Blues Weekend and the Music was great. Chris and Lisa are without a doubt the Best host anywhere. After having stayed a several B&B's we always tell people that Mount Victoria is by far the BEST. Rooms are decorated with timeless pieces from the history of the area. The Breakfast served is incredible. You will be treated like a VIP from the moment you arrive. This is must stay if you are traveling anywhere near Eureka Springs. Dan and Kelly from Missouri

This was our first visit to Mount Victoria but certainly not out last! Chris and Lisa tend to absolutely every detail from the homemade fudge to welcome us to breakfast on the veranda. Speaking of breakfast...the food is amazing!! Outstanding is definitely the score all the way around!

This was our second visit to Mount Victoria, and won't be the last. It is readily apparent that Chris and Lisa work hard to provide their guests with a fabulous B&B experience. From the luxurious suites, incredible breakfasts, and their attention to every single detail make a guest's stay at this Inn incredible. We have stayed at many B&B's, and this one delights us the most! Not only are the amenities wonderful, but Chris and Lisa are a pleasure to visit with on the veranda! Cindy Cole

We have stayed at Mount Victoria many times over the past year two years and it has truly become our home-away-from-home in Eureka Springs. From the moment you arrive, they make sure to take care of every need. We have stayed in many amazing places throughout the world, but this inn stands above the rest. It is beautifully decorated yet unpretentious. Immediately, you feel at home in this lovely historical landmark. More importantly, Chris and Lisa connect with their guests through their sincere desire to make your stay perfect, as well as a genuine interest in everyone they meet. This being said, they are never intrusive or overbearing. They have made us feel like family. Quite simply, there is no better place to stay in Eureka Springs and there is no better breakfast to be had. The Mount Victoria inn combines luxury, hospitality and warmth to make for a perfect stay.

My fiancée had been wanting to stay at Mount Victoria for a year but with our busy schedules and because of how busy the inn is, we were not able to do so until this month. I surprised him with a birthday trip to Eureka Springs, and the Mount Victoria exceeded all expectations and was absolutely perfect. Lisa was so helpful planning his birthday cake and carriage ride and massages. Lisa and Chris are both so warm and inviting and the our room was so was comfortable and hard to leave. The huge Jacuzzi was perfect for our hot bath after our 1 hour couples' massage. We had a hard time wanting to even leave our room because it was so beautiful and comfortable and we had so many DVD's to chose from and Lisa's delicious cookies and cake to eat! We plan on coming back for another romantic weekend, only next time for longer!! Thank you Lisa and Chris for a wonderful birthday weekend Bob will never forget. We look forward to returning soon!! We chose Mount Victoria because some friends who stayed last year recommended it. We stayed in the Saunders and it was nothing short of spectacular and beautiful. Lisa & Chris are so laid back and extraordinarily hospitable. Lisa helped me prepare a special romantic getaway with one of their packages and they had a fabulous anniversary cake, champagne and tulips in our room when we arrived. My wife was so surprised and so happy. On the phone Lisa assured me their pastry chef was "the best" and, let me tell you, she is! The cake was the best we have ever had. We chose a vanilla cake with pastry cream filling and butter cream icing. Lisa had it topped with fresh red tulips (my wife's favorite) and it was beautiful. We walked to a popular Italian restaurant, Ermilio's, one night (it was good) and had Mount Victoria's private dinner the other night. Our dinner at Mount Victoria was the best we have ever had. I had the rib eye and my wife had a chicken entree - everything from their huge, homemade rolls to the homemade salad dressings to the entrees to the homemade desserts was 5 stars and the service was perfect. Lisa & Chris are truly talented chefs and you're missing out if you don't select their private dinner one night. We chose to eat breakfast in our room one morning and on our veranda the other morning and we loved both. And breakfast was the best EVER!!! We highly recommend Mount Victoria and can't wait to return in the future. We would never stay anywhere else in Eureka Springs. (Kevin in Little Rock, AR)

We just had the most fantastic weekend!! Mount Victoria is everything you have read about and more!! First class...in every aspect and area. The inn is beautiful and our suite was perfect. The Saunders was pretty on the web site and even more beautiful in person. We ate Chris' incredible breakfasts on our veranda every morning and had our wine out there in the evenings before we went to dinner. Lisa's dinner suggestions were on the mark - she even has a book in the room with their favorite places and things they like which was very helpful. Lisa & Chris clearly know how to be the most perfect and gracious hosts. We can't wait to go back to their beautiful inn.
5 on April 17, 2010
My wife and I couldn't have had a more exceptional, romantic, and much needed getaway. The Mount Victoria is beautiful, comfortably elegant, clean, romantic and quiet. The amazing, delicious breakfasts were a true treat. Lisa and Chris were so friendly and helpful and offered wonderful recommendations for sights to be seen and restaurants. I definitely recommend Mount Victoria to anyone who wants to experience the best in Eureka Springs. We made a reservation to come back in the Fall before we left and we can't wait to return.
5 on April 15, 2010
My husband and I so enjoyed this beautiful home and the owners, Lisa and Chris, were so friendly and helpful - we felt right at home as soon as we arrived and we hated to leave! We can't say enough wonderful things about the beautiful rooms, fantastically delicious food - breakfast and Lisa's cookies! - the perfect location, and the perfect hosts. We left with happy, romantic memories of the Mount Victoria and Eureka Springs. We will be back and would never consider staying anywhere else! If you don't stay here you're missing OUT!
5 on March 29, 2010
Lisa & Chris are amazing. We have stayed at many B&B's, but never had an experience like this one. We stayed for three nights but can't remember when we weren't at the inn. The Mount Victoria is a beautiful place...so peaceful and relaxing..but it is so much more! Everywhere you look is eye candy! We loved the decor and our chats on the veranda. They are such wonderful hosts. And then there is the food...my husband asked while we were there if there a 10 star rating review he could leave! Everything they serve deserves to be in a magazine! There are simply not enough words to describe how incredible our experience at Mount Victoria was!! We can't wait to return!!
5 on March 29, 2010
If Lisa and Chris' dream was to create the very best B&B, they have succeeded. Attention to detail, sense of style, comfort, whimsy - all tell of the energy and talent these two have brought to Mount Victoria. And the THE FOOD! The breakfasts were the best we have ever had not only at a B&B but any restaurant. We were so glad we found this inn!

We absolutely loved everything about this inn! The breakfast was fabulous and Chris and Lisa were incredibly friendly. Ping shared our room for a short time and we loved his company. Jessica and Travis, Little Rock, AR

My husband and I celebrated our ten year anniversary at the Mount Victoria and it was perfect in every way. Hospitality, unbelievable food (breakfast, Lisa's cakes and dinner), the beautiful inn, the great location and Lisa and Chris. This couple has created a beautiful, stylish, modern inn and we will never stay anywhere else in Eureka Springs. You must try their dinner, it was better than the restaurant we ate at. We will be back again and again!
5 on February 02, 2010
When we arrived Lisa and Chris greeted us with such warm, sincere hospitality and it continued throughout our three day stay. This B&B is so beautiful and romantic but it is still modern and makes you feel like you are staying in a magazine because everything is so beautiful and Lisa has done such a great job with her decorating. You need to ask her for tips! Chris's breakfasts were the best we have ever had - all 3 days. You need to try their dinner they offer - it was better than the dinners we had at restaurants the other two nights we were there. You are making a mistake if you don't stay here.
5 on December 29, 2009
Those are the first three words that come to mind when I think of the beautiful Mount Victoria. We've been to Eureka Springs but, up until this visit, had not stayed at the Mount Victoria. We will never make that mistake again! This B&B is so stylish and modern yet romantic - you won't find anything purple or pink or lacey...which my husband loved!! Breakfast is beyond words - Chris outdid himself every morning - we totally see why they were Southern Living's choice where to eat in Eureka Springs - ask him to make his version of eggs benedict for you!!! Lisa and Chris are wonderful hosts, they're both so friendly and helpful. We've already booked our Fall stay with them and cannot wait to return. See you in October Chris & Lisa! Stacey & Jeff

What a wonderful experience! We have stayed at numerous B&Bs in the Eureka Springs area (and around the country), and Mount Victoria's amenities and ambience far exceed any of the others! The food is to die for, the decor is upscale, and our hosts were extremely interested in insuring that our stay was far above the industry standard. Thank you, Lisa and Chris! Katherine and Gabriel

Our anniversary stay at Mount Victoria this weekend was wonderful! The minute we arrived we felt like part of the family. The rooms are so inviting and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We have stayed at other B&B's but Lisa and Chris have stepped up the whole concept! There were unexpected surprises everywhere you looked. The decor is beautiful, linens are top quality, and the food is simply outstanding! Thank you Lisa and Chris for changing our minds about staying at B&B's! We hope to see you both very soon!! We've stayed several B&Bs in Eureka Springs over the years. By far, the food at Mt. Victoria was the best we've ever had and the charm, decor, and hospitality was an added plus. Pricey, but worth it.

We had such a wonderful time staying here. The rooms are beautiful. The entire home is decorated with such class and style. Chris and Lisa are wonderful host. The two breakfast that we had while we stayed, were better than any five star hotel we have ever stayed in. You won't find a better place to stay in Eureka Springs. Deb and Tom Rogers

Mount Victoria is a stunning Bed and Breakfast that is gracefully decorated with collected antiques, yet balanced with all the comforts of home. Lisa has all the suites elegantly decorated but warm and comfortable. Chris and Lisa's attention to every detail with exceptional service that rivals any five star hotel, make the stay such a relaxing pleasure. Chris has a natural culinary flare delivered with every delicious breakfast, again exceptional. Mount Victoria is exceptional, romantic, warm, nostalgic, what a great get away!! This was our first experience at a B&B and it was fantastic. From the minute we drove up to the house we felt as if we were at home. Very comfortable and peaceful setting. Lisa and Chris were wonderful. Very accomadating, helped us get settled in and then we enjoyed a nice glass of wine after a drive from Memphis. The rooms were beautifully decorated and we had delicious cookies in our room when we arrived. The beginning of each day starts with a wonderful breakfast that includes some of Chris's specialties, fantastic coffee and juice. WE enjoyed our breakfast while sitting on our balcony and it was such a great experience. Chris and Lisa are readily available if you need anything at all and make you feel very much at home. I would recommend this B&B to everyone. You will be pleased. Looking forward to returning soon and bringing some other couples to share in the experience. Thanks guys for such a great visit. We spent three incredible nights at Mount Victoria in Eureka Springs ! If there was a rating of 10 this would be it! The problem is for the rest of B&B for me, this will be my new standard. They will not measure up. We have stayed at B&B all over the US and some in Canada, but even the best don't come close to this wonderful place. The owners Lisa and Chris are so personable to every detail, and the food, wow! I am an Architect and notice many things most people don't. The whole experience was incredible! We are returning in Dec. 2009 for 4 nights and can't wait. I also own a green egg like Chris, so there is no way to describe how wonderful the breakfast truly is.This is a must stay if you love incredible food, accommodations, attention to every detail.Lisa and Chris were so very helpful with information about all the attractions, restaurants, and shops. I loved this place! My husband and I stayed here for our 3rd wedding anniversary and it was amazing. The room (Sander's) was absolutely beautiful! The entire place smelled wonderful! Nice big comfy bed, a great movie collection for those nights you want to stay in and relax. Freshly brewed (good) :) coffee, mini fridge with drinks, late night snacks, everything you could possibly think of or want. Don't get me started on the food!!! AMAZING! Everyday the food seemed to just get better and better. Lisa, I am still dreaming about that blueberry bread pudding! Chris and Lisa are great host and great people, like meeting up with old friends!

To put it plainly, this place is a gem. The house itself is beautiful and perfectly decorated. Lisa and Chris are perfect hosts, and every question or request we had was welcomed and well handled. I was amazed by the food. The breakfasts were amazing. You will not find a better place to stay in Eureka Springs.

Just came home from spending two days at Mount Victoria and had a fantastic time! As others have said, the food is spectacular! The breakfasts were the best we've ever had! We also had Chris make us his special BBQ pulled pork sandwiches....the best BBQ EVER!! Do not pass this up! Chris and Lisa do a wonderful job of making you feel welcome. They go out of their way to make your stay special. My husband and I really enjoyed visiting with them on the front porch, and of course, we can't forget Ping and Pong! We enjoyed our time so much that we booked 2 more weekends this winter! Can't wait to return!!

Do not miss the opportunity to stay here! Chris and Lisa have a true gift which is hospitality. Chris also has the gift of cooking, his breakfasts were the best we have ever had. This Inn is beautiful and welcoming. Our room, the Mazaret, was perfect from cleanliness to the beautiful decor. We loved eating on our veranda every morning and enjoying lazy afternoons out there too. We're planning a return trip already. Hats off to Chris and Lisa for making Mount Victoria what it is.

WOW! That pretty much sums up our stay at the Mount Victoria. The food is beyond words. We were served Lisa's lemon blueberry bread pudding with breakfast one morning & she put this special angel food ice cream on top with caramel sauce! We've never had ice cream with breakfast before, that's for sure! Chris's breakfast is delicious. It is the best food we've ever had at a B&B. Lisa and Chris made our anniversary get a way one we will never forget. They are so nice and will get you anything you need. Our room was so beautiful. The whole B&B is beautiful and a great location. We won't stay anywhere else when we return to Eureka.

What more can be said? From the minute my girlfriend and I made our reservation to the minute we exited the parking lot, all aspects of the Mount Victoria were outstanding. For our birthday weekend, my girlfriend and I were welcomed and treated like family by Chris and Lisa. From the lemon cake to the beautifully decorated room, the Mount Victoria Bed & Breakfast exceeded all of our expectations. When we make it back to Eureka Springs, we will definitely be staying at Mount Victoria Bed & Breakfast.

Our experience at Mount Victoria - absolutely outstanding. We will never stay anywhere else when in Eureka Springs. Look no further - this is THE BEST B&B in Eureka Springs! We are already planning a return visit for the Fall. Their grounds are beautiful and with 4 maple trees in the front yard we can't wait to see the Fall foliage.

My wife and I was in dire need of a stress release short vacation and did we find it at Mount Victoria Bed and Breakfast. From the minute we arrived we were treated as guests and not "paying customers". We arrived early and Lisa took the time to check our room and let us check in two hours early. The rooms were very charming and very comfortable. We had a great selection of DVD's to watch and Lisa's home made signature deserts that my delighted my wife and I. Chris's breakfasts on the veranda was the highlight for both of us. The whole time we were shopping and sightseeing in Eureka we kept talking about how comfortable our room was and how we both wanted to go back to our room and relax. We were there for the fourth of July and skipped out on fireworks to just relax to a nice hot tub bubble bath and watch tv in our room. I havent seen my wife get this much sleep since I have known her. I would highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast for anyone wanting a peaceful stress free relaxing stay. We are already planning our two year anniversary in November for another two day stay!!!!

My girlfriend and I were at the INN a year ago for the first time and we wrote a long ang glowing review of the experience at the Mount Victoria. To prove we were sincere in our praise we returned again this June. This time the occassion was even more special as I proposed to my now fiance. We had such a wonderful time last year that I knew the Inn would be the perfect place to make such a wonderful memory. Once again, Lisa and Chris (the Innkeepers), far exceeded my already sky high expectations. They helped me plan the big surprise and even made suggestions and reservations for the big weekend. The mood was set, the secret was kept and the proposal went perfectly. Mount Victoria is now a huge part of our relationship and our stories for ever and ever. You will for sure see us back every year to celebrate and we would highly suggest you go and make some wonderful memories there as well.

We were driving back home from Missouri and were only able to spend one night at this wonderful Inn. Wish we had the opportunity to spend the entire weekend. A lovely Bed and Breakfast that certainly lived up to everything we had read about it. We have stayed in many B&B's throughout the country, and rank Mount Victoria as one of the best. The gourmet breakfast is beyond compare!

From the moment you pull into your parking space Chris and Lisa treat like a part of their family. Even in the midst of seeing to your needs, they never hesitate to stop to chat so that by the time you leave you're looking forward to the next time you get to visit with them. On top of that, Mt. Victoria surrounds you in comfortable elegance with breakfasts that surpass any we've had elsewhere. We know you'll enjoy your stay as much as we did. Say hello to Ping, Pong, and Molly for us when you visit.

My husband and I stayed here for a Babymoon weekend (6/5-6/7). We got lost on our way to Mount Victoria, but we called Chris and he was able to navigate us to the Inn. We had never stayed at a B&B, so we weren't sure what to expect. Chris and Lisa met us at the door and walked us to our room. We stayed in the Mazaret Suite. It was beautiful. Lisa did the decorating herself and she did a wonderful job. We felt very pampered here. We enjoyed breakfast there two mornings. Chris even made my breakfast especially for me since I'm pregnant and not everything sits well. We couldn't have asked for anything more, except maybe to stay longer. We felt like we were leaving a friend's house. Chris and Lisa are very laid back and willing to strike up a conversation on the porch. My husband said that Chris and Lisa have spoiled us and we will never stay at another B&B in Eureka Springs. Hopefully, we will get a chance to go back again!

We had been trying to stay at this B&B for awhile - they were always full. We put ourselves on a wait list and, lucky for us, they had a cancellation. We were ecstatic! This is the first B&B we've stayed in that blows the word "breakfast" out of the water! There are no boring pancakes or quiche served here that's for sure! Chris's breakfasts are unbelievable, they're gourmet and beautiful and we ate every bite every day. We stayed with Chris and Lisa for four days and every day blew us away. The Inn is perfectly located in that it is removed from all the noise of downtown but only 3 blocks walking distance. The rooms are gorgeous and romantic and super clean. Mount Victoria is perfect and Lisa and Chris are the perfect hosts. We loved Molly the dog. We highly recommend this Inn!!!

What else can I say? AMAZING. The Inn is even more beautiful in person. The rooms are large and romantic and modern and so beautifully decorated. The owners, Lisa and Chris, are so friendly and down to earth and make you feel so pampered. The breakfasts are out of this world good. We came back to the Inn one afternoon and there was Chris in the back court yard smoking meat for our breakfast the next day! This was our first visit to Eureka Springs and to Mount Victoria but it will definitely not be our last - we're already planning a return visit in October!!....wonder what Chris will be cooking for breakfast?...whatever it is it will be amazing!! Can't wait to return and be pampered again!

My husband and I just returned from this beautiful Inn. Lisa and Chris are a true class act as is this Inn - it is incredible!! From the moment we drove up and were greeted by their smiling faces and then saw the amazing decor when we opened the front door, we knew we had chosen the right place for our anniversary. Lisa and Chris are so laid back and down to earth - they made us feel so comfortable - and tended to our every need. Our room (the clayton) was modern and beautiful with a huge jacuzzi - very romantic! The food....TO DIE FOR!!...Lisa's treats and Chris' breakfasts...TO DIE FOR!! We have never had breakfast like this anywhere and we have stayed many places in our travels - make sure you have Chris' eggs benedict - it is so uniquely different - it is our all-time favorite breakfast now and we're going to try and make it at home. Now that we've found Mount Victoria we will never stay anywhere else in Eureka Springs - nor should you!

I work a very demanding schedule and my wife endures a lot for my sake. So every year for our anniversary I go for a shock and awe approach trying to out do last years trip. Well after our stay with Chris and Lisa I don't know how I can top this one next year. The room was great everything was comfortable and cozy. I can't say enough about the breakfast, I have never tasted food this good. All in all our stay was excellent. If your looking for a way to pamper your pregnant wife choose the Pickles and Ice Cream Package she won't be disappointed. Terry Turner Perryton, TX

What an amazing place!!! We chose to have our wedding at Mt. Victoria in Eureka Springs. What an amazing place from beginning to end. The attention to detail, the small touches. The room was fabulous, the food was unbelievable. Lisa and Chris took care of every detail of our stay AND wedding. I literally didn't have to think twice about anything. The ceremony was simple, elegant, and intimate. The cake, the flowers, the champagne, all perfect, all amazing!! I would highly recommend them for anything from a wedding, to a romantic get away. We will be back!!!

My husband and I were invited by my brother to stay at Mount Victoria for his daughter's wedding weekend. It was such a treat, and I must admit that I felt sorry for the other wedding guests who stayed elsewhere. The rooms are large and filled with beautiful antiques from Lisa's collection and the decor was up to date but still fitting the setting. We started off with one of Lisa's cakes and from there, the food just was wonderful. I wished they had shared their recipes. It was gourmet, but made you feel at home(just with people waiting on you, which I don't have!)If I get the chance to get another long weekend away, I would love to return. It was definitely more of a treat than I could have imagined. Thanks to my brother...

My husband and I visited the Mount Victoria for a much needed getaway. The rooms were outstanding as well as the breakfast. The house was beautiful not only on the inside but also the outside. We stayed in the Mazaret suite and I loved the decor of the suite. Lisa and Chris made themselves readily available for us anytime we needed them. We felt as though we made new friends during our stay at the inn. We will choose this inn again on our next trip to Eureka. P.S If you are tired of the old-fashioned victorian decor this is the place to stay it is beautiful.

My husband and I stayed at Mount Victoria for a wedding. We wished we had been there just to sit back and enjoy the bed and breakfast instead of having to go to the wedding activities. Chris and Lisa treated us like family and made us feel so welcome. The breakfast was as good as any I have had at 5 star resturants. Chris is quite the chef. I will go again and will recommend Mount Victoria to any friends or family traveling to Eureka Springs. The location is so convenient but away from all the noise. I hated to leave and come home. Next time I will stay longer than a weekend. Eddie Jean and Doyle Childress Memphis, TN

This is the 3rd year in a row we have stayed atMount Victoria and will return as often as possible. Chris is a fabulous and innovative chef and Lisa makes you feel so very welcome! The Inn is beautiful & each room has it's own charm. Lisa thinks of each detail down to the chocolate on your pillow each night. I recommend Mount Victoria to all my friends.

Mt. Victoria Inn is a good place to run away from everyday cares. Without dipping even my smallest toe in the famed local waters, I found much needed relief from my worries. After a busy day of 'connecting the dots' with visits to both the area's natural wonders and collection of quaint Victorian shops, I'd arrived back to borrowed 'home' to immerse myself in simple pleasures: I'd sit on the outside veranda and let the breeze caress my face and my eyes soak up the gorgeous scenery; I let myself get lost in a borrowed book or movie while curled snug in my borrowed bed; and I enjoyed life and wrote about it while others prepared my meals. And food always tastes better when prepared by another's capable and gifted hands. This inn has two that answer to this description. Words cannot express the graciousness of hospitality experienced. Mt. Victoria Inn and the hospitality of Lisa and Chris is something that can only be experienced.

My husband and I went with our son and daughter-in-law to Eureka Springs. They have stayed with Lisa and Chris before. Lisa and Chris are the most amazing hosts, you are welcome from the time you arrive in their driveway till you leave! I love the way they have furnished the Inn and the BREAKFAST's ARE WONDERFULL!!! You will not be disappointed in your visit. Are already planning our next visit.

My husband and I travel extensively, and always try to stay in a B & B. On a recent impulsive visit to Eureka Springs, we first stopped at a B & B that bills itself as the best....thankfully they didn't have any vacancies (dusty smelling and uninspiring). We called as we passed Mount Victoria and they had a last-minute cancellation, and it turned out to be the most wonderful stay at a B & B we've ever had. Not only is the immaculate exterior reminiscent of the "Old South," but you walk into a clean, fresh-smelling and beautifully decorated interior. From the smallest detail (a library of current dvds) to a gourmet breakfast (we chose their option of breakfast -in-bed...what a treat!!!), we were treated with warmth and genuine hospitality! Chris and Lisa should write a book on the details, which make a Bed and Breakfast memorable and delightful to their guests. We are now looking at our schedule to see when we can come back!! We got married and honeymooned for 2 days at Mount Victoria and it was absolutely fabulous! If you are looking for a relaxing, peaceful place to just "be" with your loved one then this is the place. All of Lisa's recommendations were fabulous too - restaurants, spas, salons. We will definetely be back when we visit Arkansas.

This was our second stay at Mount Victoria and it was just as wonderful as our first visit! Chris & Lisa are gracious hosts and go above and beyond for their guests. Not only do we love all the special touches Chris & Lisa provide, but we love the location of Mount Victoria; it is on a quite street and an easy walk to the shops and restaurants. We also absolutely love the delectable breakfast made by Chris! The breakfast is by far the very best we have ever experienced at a bed and breakfast!

We had no idea of what to expect from our hosts or the B&B when we selected it as our wedding destination. We arrived to find the hosts very friendly and hospitable. Our room was awesome, the food was beyond belief, and the attention to detail was amazing! Chris and Lisa were so friendly and hospitable from the beginning of our stay to the end. They made reservations at the restaurant of our choice, they ordered flowers for the wedding, provided champaigne for the wedding night and were so gracious! We were overwhelmed at their friendliness. Best of all, Chris cooks the most amazing breakfast....words cannot describe the food. Thank you Chris and Lisa for making our wedding so memorable. We definitely will return to your Bed and Breakfast in the future. : - ) Sandie and Gregg Sinkbeil of Sand Springs, OK March 6th & 7th, 2009.

This was our first time to stay in a B&B. Everything about the Mount Victoria and Chris and Lisa exceeded our expectations. We were totally impressed with everything from the moment we drove in the driveway. The rooms are so beautifully decorated and spacious...and fresh! Most older homes smell "old," but not the Victoria. Cudos to Lisa for her decorating style! There are so many things personalized for you in your room when you arrive, you don't notice all of them right away. And, amazing food...Chris is quite a cook! It was trully a super experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling in the northern Arkansas area.

We have needed a romantic getaway for a few years now, & I had been telling my husband that I wanted to try staying at a B&B. I knew I had to find one that was a perfect balance of pampering, relaxation, elegance, history, good food, & "not-too-froofy" for us to both enjoy it--and for him to agree to try it. I found Mount Victoria on the web (after looking through endless articles on other B&B's in the tri-state area) & knew I found "the one". I showed the pictures to my husband & he thought it might be good, but warned me that "they always make it look better in the pictures than it really is". But, I knew that this one had everything we were looking for & needed in a romantic getaway--so, at the last minute, my husband agreed to try it. After arriving there & during our stay, we found that it far exceeded our expectations & desires for a 5th anniversary celebration of our marriage. It so happens that we got married in my husband's home church in Eureka Springs, & have family nearby--but have never stayed anywhere in town before. Our stay as guests in Chris & Lisa's home was memorable for all the right reasons--beautiful decor, wonderful hospitality, spacious rooms, great location, every amenity you could want or need, & of course the most delicious gourmet breakfasts (awesomely edible art masterpieces)!!! The coffee/tea, homemade cake & biscotti were also delightful--not to mention the chocolate-covered strawberries (my favorite treat) & champaigne! With the jacuzzi tub, wifi access, & great movie & book library, we had no need to leave our room. Chris & Lisa were wonderful hosts & we felt like we were at a home-away-from-home, only much, much better! It was nice to feel like a King & Queen for a couple of days! After we got back home, I asked my husband about what we might do for our next getaway. His response: "How can we top this?" I guess that means he liked the B&B--and that we'll definitely be back for more! :) Tobias & Tiffany, Springfield, MO

While staying in Eureka Springs last year with my sister, I drove past Mt. Victoria and was taken back in time by its historical beauty! I made a mental note to book my next B&B there and this past weekend my husband and I had the pleasure to do just that! The inn was everything I thought it could be and so much more!!!!!! Lisa has a unique gift to attend to details which make their home so beautiful and welcoming! Chris is a gourmet chef and each morning our breakfast was truly an incredible dining experience! The entire inn was spotless and very comfortable for all the guests that were there this weekend! We really appreciated how Lisa and Chris attended to our requests and needs yet were not overbearing at all! We are already planning to return with three other couples to book the entire inn because we know in our hearts Mt. Victoria is a beautiful home away from home for us!

My husband and I came to Mount Victoria for an anniversary getaway and to be pampered... and that is EXACTLY what we got! The house, the food, the rooms and the hosts are even more wonderful than the pictures can show! You can not go wrong with anything that you choose during your stay. My top three favorite things during my stay was Lisa's orange cake, the dvd library and the fabulous breakfasts every morning! We will be back! Thank you for making our anniversary weekend one that we will not forget!

We have stayed at many B&B's throughout the U.S. and Mount Victoria is absolutely 100% outstanding - hands down. The Inn is beautiful - sometimes pictures can be deceiving - not the case here - it is even better in person. The food.....THE BEST WE HAVE EVER HAD!! Chris should open his own restaurant!! Their version of Eggs Benedict left us in awe....you won't ever have anything like it!! Chris and Lisa took the time to ask of our interests while in Eureka Springs and tell us about the town and best places to eat, shop etc. Their warmth and sincerity was refreshing - they love what they do. The decor of the Inn is amazing - Lisa has done a wonderful job decorating (she has a true talent!) - everywhere you look there is something beautiful looking back at you. We think she missed her calling and should be an interior decorator! The linens are first-class, the beds oh-so-comfortable and the towels soft & fluffy. To wrap it up - if you don't stay here you are missing out!! We'll be back and recommend Mount Victoria to everyone we know.

Our group of four couples had a "Super Stay" at the Mount Victoria Bed and Breakfast Inn. The rooms were super nice, clean, and confortable. But most of all we loved the friendship, food, and fellowship from Chris and Lisa! We will be back!!! "The Rogers Crew"

Eureka Springs is a very special place for my wife and me. We try to go twice a year to get away from the rush of our everyday lives. We started going to Mount Victoria shortly after Chris and Lisa opened and have not stayed anywhere else since. My wife and I have now stayed there five times and have sixth trip scheduled. We have stayed many other places in Eureka, so I can say with all confidence that it is truly the best that Eureka has to offer. My wife and I will never stay anywhere else as long as Chris and Lisa are in Eureka Springs. The rooms are incredible and the food is even better. Chris and Lisa are more than great hosts, they are great people. If you plan to make a trip to the gorgeous and quaint town of Eureka Springs, AK take my advice and stay Mount Victoria, you will not be sorry.

My wife and I recently stayed at Mount Victoria for a long weekend. It was incredible! From the wonderful breakfasts to the well appointed rooms, everything exceeded our expectations. Chris and Lisa were wonderful hosts, and it was a pleasure to get to know them while we were there. Because we were there on New Years, Lisa took the time to research what was going on in the town on New Years Eve in Eureka Springs and gave us the info upon our arrival. I would recommend Mount Victoria to anyone. A phenomenal experience all the way around!

I have worked in hotels & restaurants for the last 6 years and I have stayed at over 100 different places from B & B to hotels, and cabins. I have never been so pleased with a place. I loved Mt. Victoria. My partner and I stayed there on 19 & 20 of December and had a great time. The moment we walked in the door it felt like being at a relative’s house for vacation. Chris met us at the door and gave us a quick tour and was very pleasant, telling us about the area and letting us know to contact him if we needed anything. Room: Upon entering the Saunders Suite it was just like described with the smell of bath salts in the air. It was very clean and perfectly decorated to give you that lovely cottage feel. The room included a Jacuzzi tub and very comfortable bed that was triple sheeted with soft linens, much better quality than you usually receive at a hotel. There was a note from Chris and Lisa telling us how glad they were to have us and chocolate kisses on the pillow. Amenities: They have a hot coffee and tea station as well as a complimentary soda, and bottle water and a very nice cake available if you need a quick sugar snack. They also have a complimentary DVD station (with current titles) on both floors if you feel the need for a quick movie while relaxing from a day of shopping. Breakfast: What can I say about the breakfast other than it was fantastic. They offer you three options for breakfast dinning. The first option being in room dining, the second option being downstairs in the dinning area and the third being outside on the veranda weather permitting. On the first day we had a puff pastry stuffed with egg, cheese, and seasoned turkey, along with coffee, and orange juice. It was to die for. Overall: I would recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in an environment that feels like your home away from home. Chris and Lisa are perfect host who truly love what they do.

Mount Victoria was everything I dreamed of for a romantic stay for our anniversary. My husband planned the trip as a surprise for me and it was awesome! Chris & Lisa were wonderful hosts and my husband said they took care of everything for him, setting up my massage and the lovely chocolate covered strawberries! The breakfast was truly the best gourmet breakfast we've ever eaten! Superb! Highly recommend this B&B for a very relaxing getaway!

We frequent Eureka Springs, and cannot believe we did not know about this fabulous find! We have, obviously, been asking the wrong questions. We should have asked, "Where is the BEST place to stay in Eureka Springs?"; "Who makes the BEST breakfast in Eureka Springs?"; or "Where can we feel PAMPERED, yet AT HOME?"...! Finally, we asked our friends at Vintage Cargo the right questions when planning a trip for some holiday shopping - and they certainly sent us to the right place! All the great things we heard about Mount Victoria are true - and then some! We are already looking at our 2009 calendar! Thank you, Chris and Lisa at Mount Victoria! You will see us again, soon!

My husband and I decided we were going to escape from the normal “craziness” of Thanksgiving by taking a trip to Eureka Spring. We were very fortunate to find a bed and breakfast that offered a Thanksgiving dinner package. We booked the room for 4 nights. I must say the house and the bedrooms are fabulously decorated. We enjoyed relaxing in the whirlpool tub which was deep and comfortable. Breakfast was out of this world. During our stay we had many opportunities to visit with Lisa and Chris...and felt saddened when we had to leave. During our four day stay we felt right at home as if we were family. We'll be back. We're all ready looking forward to a Spring visit. Mount Victoria, Lisa and Chris were “Super Fantastic”. Our visit was grand, romantic, cozy room, superb food...an awesome experience! Thank!!

Thank you, Chris and Lisa, for a long awaited, relaxing weekend in Eureka Springs. We were warmly welcomed and delighted to find a beautifully appointed suite. Amenities abound at Mount Victoria, as our every need was anticipated and met. Chris' gourmet breakfast was extraordinary, both in preparation and presentation. Their knowledge of Eureka Springs and eagerness to help us plan our activities made the visit perfect. We will be back again and again!

From the moment we arrived, until Lisa's hugs goodbye, it felt like family. The wonderful rooms, the cookies and fresh coffee, Ping and Pong, the "social hour", Chris and Lisa's dining recommendations - all made for a great weekend. Of course, Chris' breakfasts alone are worth the trip! On your next trip to Eureka Springs you owe it to yourself to stay at Mount Victoria. You will not be disappointed. I know we will be coming back. F. Smith

This B&B leaves nothing to be desired. Chris & Lisa hit the nail on the head with each detail. We were amazed from the first impression of the outside decor to the amazing attention to detail in our room. The added touches available with chocolate dipped strawberries and champange were well worth the $$. This B&B touched every sense, we have soft music, sweet scents and great company. The breakfast option to be delivered to your room was an extra add of romance for us. The room was filled with amazing aroma, followed by beautiful food display and the tickling of our taste buds with very bite. The quality of food was the best I have ever had at a B&B. I would and will recommend this inn to any and everyone wanting nothing, but the best. Great Job Chris & Lisa....we'll be back

This house may be really old and quaint but you could eat off the floor it is so clean, as well as very comfortable. Chris and Lisa welcome you like family into their home and interact with guests as much or as little as you encourage. We stayed one night and came back three nights later to stay in a different room which offered a nice variety, so you might surmise we liked it. The location is great, the food is exceptional, the beds excellent, and you get to meet great folks at a B&B like this whose homey decor, afternoon snacks, and friendly atmosphere promotes sitting around the common areas enjoying your fellow guests if you choose since folks who generally stay at a B&B are usually outgoing. Either choice makes for a memorable stay. Mount Victoria was recommended at the top of a list of B&B's by a fellow insurance agent in nearby Berryville and was a great choice. Chris and Lisa know what it takes to be great innkeepers! They set the benchmark! Thanks, Paul & Susan!

My husband and I visited Mount Victoria for a relaxing, romantic weekend. We were NOT disappointed! Everything was PERFECT - the hosts, the room (the Jackson), the bed and linens, and the food....INCREDIBLE & DIVINE! Chris and Lisa do an amazing job - we felt so comfortable and spoiled. The Inn is filled with their family antiques and personality - it is so beautiful - makes me want to learn how to decorate - although I think that's a "talent!" We can't wait to return!!! Oh, and we loved meeting their dog Molly!

We come to Eureka Springs often and always try a new B&B ~ we've tried a lot. This time we chose Mount Victoria and it will be the only Inn we stay at from now on. Quite simply, Mount Victoria is the absolute best! Perfect, helpful hosts, beautiful Inn inside and out (I told Lisa the Inn should be in Traditional Home magazine and when she told me Mount Victoria was going to be in this December's issue of Southern Living magazine I was not surprised at all!), wonderful ambiance, amazing breakfasts, delicious cake and cold refreshments, large tea selection, great DVD and book/magazine choices......I could go on and on and on!! Our stay at Mount Victoria was romantic perfection - we'll see you next time..and the time after that and the time after that and....well, you get get the picture! Thank you Lisa & Chris for everything.

I have a lot to say about Mount Victoria! My husband and I booked at the Mount Victoria based on the reviews and awards - we now know why Lisa and Chris have so rightly earned them all! Upon arriving we were blown away by the beauty of the Inn and grounds. We were greeted with smiling faces and genuinely warm conversation - we felt at home immediately. Lisa has done an amazing job decorating the Inn - the style is modern with her own traditional twist - all the extra touches were greatly admired during our stay. Our suite - the Mazaret - definitely did not disappoint - it was beautifully decorated with a comfortable elegance. The charming claw foot tub provided the perfect relaxing, soaking bath and my husband enjoyed the convenience of a shower as well. We both enjoyed the private veranda outside our suite. The breakfast was the best we have ever had - Chris, you have REAL talent!! To wrap it up - we stay at many B&B's across the country - this was THE BEST B&B WE'VE EVER EXPERIENCED!! We will be back...and soon!

The outside of the house smells old but it was well maintained & clean. The innkeepers was friendly but not overly. Refreshments were readily available upon our arrival. The floors were woods so they were a bit noisy. The room was extremely large but the shower didn't have its own room which was odd. But they kept with the original style of the house. The clawfoot tub with wraparound shower & separate water closet was quite different than I'm used to. The groumet breakfast was fantastic & was beyond my expectations.

My husband and I spent our first anniversary at Mt. Victoria...it was a perfect, relaxing, rejuvenating weekend. Chris and Lisa were full of great suggestions as to dining and shopping and all-around activities. It was our first trip to Eureka Springs and our first trip to Mt. Victoria...and it was such a great trip! Chris' breakfasts were wonderful every day, and we went back for more and more of Lisa's cake! The rooms were so nicely decorated, and spacious. The jacuzzi was huge, the beds were comfortable. And, I think one of my favorite things about the house was eating breakfast on the veranda! Plus, Mount Victoria is so close to everything - we walked everywhere in town...to dinner, to the shops, to see the historic sites...it was such a great place.

My wife and I stayed overnight on 10/11/08 for our 4th anniversary. The hosts were very hospitable leading up to our visit working with our schedule and the things we wanted to incorporate into our trip. They provided great reviews of places to see and where to eat. The inn was immaculate and the breakfast was amazing. I will definitely recommend this destination and we will be back. Thanks Lisa and Chris for a very memorable anniversary within a reasonable budget.

After extensively researching both bed & breakfasts & wedding venues in Eureka Springs, we found the ideal combination of both at Mount Victoria! The inn is beautifully decorated, the food is incredible & the service is outstanding. We felt both pampered & at home at the same time. Chris & Lisa made our elopment wedding a truly memorable event. I look forward to many future visits to Mount Victoria. Chris & Lisa--Thank You!

My fiancee and I were recommended to Mount Victoria by some friends of ours from Dallas. We went to make arrangements for our wedding next April. The hosts, Chris and Lisa were very helpful and had great advice about Eurekas Springs and were extremely accomodating. The breakfast was wonderful, better than we could have ever asked for. The inn was clean, and extremely well decorated. We will recommend others and be back, definitely. Kristy and Mik, Dallas Tx.

This was our second visit to Mount Victoria. We so enjoyed the first, we knew we just had to return. Having stayed at B&B's all across the country, we can honestly say the location, cleanliness, and quality of service is the finest we have experienced. Innkeepers Chris and Lisa treat us more like family than guests. A weekend visit with them will be in our yearly plans from now on. We highly recommend a stay at Mount Victoria...you will not be disappointed!

Lisa and Chris Just wanted to drop you guys a note to let you know how much we enjoyed staying with you at the beautiful Mount Victoria B&B. We have stayed at many and the experience we had with you was the best ever. Please do not change a thing as we left very rested. It was especially nice talking with you in the parlor over a glass of wine. Also the breakfast was out of this world delicious. We stayed at Mount Victoria end of Sept. 2008. Chris and Lisa were so nice! Our room was beautiful, lots of little touches. We had our own entrance/exit, which was perfect! The breakfast was wonderful, shrimp frittata, toast and homemade jam, fresh grapes and peaches with fresh cream. The coffee was wonderful and the cake Lisa leaves was heavenly! They do have 2 cats, Ping and Pong. I loved seeing them, but my other half is allergic, so just keep that in mind :) It's close to walk to anything you would like to do, and Chris and Lisa gave us great advice on what not to miss. I would highly recommend it!

Ping and Pong helped us to not miss our two cats at home. I can't wait to visit with Lisa and Chris again!

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome. If I were restricted to sum up our experience in three words or less, well there you have it. However, since I am not restricted to words, I will continue. I've titled this experience as "Weekend getaway with the Love of My Life". From the very moment we arrived we were greeted by our host. From that moment forward we knew we made the right choice in our first attempt at a B&B. Our host's genuine personality and friendship at our first meeting was breath taking. Lisa & Chris had us in awe accommodating our needs and special requests and their attention to detail on the simplest things was a welcome experience. The breakfast each day was to die for - honestly, Chris you have an amazing talent. However the down side personally was that we gained a few pounds - but then, you only live once, right? The ambiance of the entire residence displays the true character of this 1900's Victorian style home. I find myself rambling on, so I will close with a heartfelt thank you to Lisa and Chris for sharing their home with us and the many others to come. We look forward to our next visit very soon.

We just concluded our second visit (Honeymoon and 1st Anniversary) to Mount Victoria this past weekend. It has been our only B&B experience in Eureka Springs and our last because we have no need to "compare"! When they say, "Let us know if you need anything", they mean it! (Even to the extent of anticipating your needs!) The food (OMG), the rooms (we have decided to embark on a "tour de Mt. Victoria"), and the "vibe" (even the pets are chill -props to "Ping" and "Pong" - Oh! and can't forget "Molly"!) are what makes this destination so appealing...We have already pre-booked our 3rd year (in a row), and can't wait to get back! The sincerety, transparency, and honesty of Lisa and Chris, make you feel like family when you are there... and really...you are!

Hotel accommodations are good for some occasions, but if you like an exceptionally clean, quiet, elegant, picturesque, setting for an occasion or simply a get-away for a day or two, you will find the Mount Victoria B&B in gorgeous little Eureka Springs, AR in the Ozark Mountains exceeds all expectations. Chris and Lisa are topnotch (best of the best) innkeepers experienced and dedicated to ensuring your stay is an event you will not soon forget. Room/suite decor and comfort are second to none and breakfast presentation and enjoyment are provided by this couple as if they were the guests. We stayed two nights but wished it could have been two weeks. What a fantastic B&B - thanks so much Chris & Lisa! Larry & Carolyn - Little Rock, AR

We just had the pleasure of spending our second getaway with Lisa and Chris at Mt. Victoria!! The room, food, atmosphere is wonderful, but what we like best is the feeling that you are staying with old friends. It makes us a little sad to leave..., If you get the chance stay in the Jackson Suite, my favorite, and spend some time on the front porch swing with Ping, Pong, and a glass of wine. Life doesn't get any better!!! Thanks again guys!!!

My husband and I visited Mount Victoria for the 4th of July and our stay was amazing. Our room was beautiful, comfortable and very peaceful (a welcome retreat after a hectic three weeks). Chris and Lisa are incredible hosts and their hospitality makes you feel instantly welcome and comfortable. The breakfast is fantastic so good in fact that you are glad it is morning (this coming from a non-morning person). We had a great getaway and left wishing we were staying; knowing we will return very very soon.

Clean as a whistle, conscientious hosts, supremely comfortable accomodations, the food deserves three Michelin stars, and priced precisely. The pleasure was all mine. -N&B Little Rock, AR

My wife and I spent three nights at the Mount Victoria in June '08 and we really enjoyed it! Our room, The Clayton Suite, was large, comfortable and quiet. The home is very nice with many places to sit and relax, talk, read, or have a drink. Chris and Lisa were very hospitable and Chris' breakfasts were to die for! Overall a very nice experience and we would highly recommend the Mount Victoria.

We could not have picked a more perfect place to spend our honeymoon ! ! ! Lisa and Chris made us feel at home from the second we arrived. The food was out of this world. The only problem we had was that we had to leave. We will be going back ! ! !

My husband and I spent our 16th wedding anniversary at the Mount Victoria B&B and I can't say enough about how wonderful our stay was. It was relaxing, the rooms are very nice and the breakfast was over the top. Chris and Lisa both are great hosts and the breakfast you get is unbelieveable. If you need a place to stay while visiting Eureka Springs, I would highly recommend Mount Victoria.

My husband and I stayed at Mount Victoria for our anniversary get-away and we couldn't have been more pleased with our choice. To start, I was surprised with the anniversary package (fresh flowers, chocolate covered strawberries and champagne) which was lovely. The room was very comfortable and comforting, with antiques and incomparable attention to detail. We thoroughly enjoyed our private balcony, where we had our WONDERFUL breakfast delivered to us one morning, and in the candle-lit dining room where we had such a great breakfast the next morning. We enjoyed the choice of having complete privacy or the ability to visit with the other guests and Chris and Lisa. I also have to mention how well-behaved Ping and Pong were. I now have a new love of cats!

We booked with Chris and Lisa after reading all of the remarkable reviews from this site and after seeing their list of awards, but you can never be sure what the actual experience is going to be like. We just got back home yesterday, and I can report that Mount Victoria exceeded are already high expectations without a doubt. Chris and Lisa have done an amazing job of creating a perfect B & B. The atmosphere is homey and relaxed with plenty of privacy if you just want to escape and hide. There's a great balance here between quiet and socializing. The rooms are wonderfully appointed, the coffee and tea bar is always open, there's cold drinks in the mini-fridge, Ping and Pong (cat ambassador's) treat you like family, and of course, the breakfasts are ridiculous... you won't have better anywhere. We wish we were still there and can't wait to get back. The great thing is Chris and Lisa are still making the place better and better... I'm not sure how they can, but they swear they are, so the experience will somehow even better next time we go. We can't wait!

This is a wonderful place to just get-away and be together. Chris and Lisa were very warm and made our stay so special. Our gourmet breakfast every morning was just outstanding. They offer breakfast in your room as well as a beautiful dining room, or you can eat on the veranda and enjoy the out of doors. The inn is beautifully furnished, very clean and the beds are comfortable! We had a wonderful experience and will go back as often as we can.

The minute you step out of your car you feel like family around Lisa and Chris! Even their sweet pets greet you on the lawn!! I told Lisa at one point that I wanted to have my massage at her favorite place in town b/c I wanted to have the "whole Lisa experience!" Everything she does is darling and is perfect down to the last kiwi in your glass of sangria!!!! My husband and I had the best time ever at Mount Victoria. Our favorite would have to be dining on the veranda for breakfast each day--listening to the bells and songs from the local church ringing and the soft fountain flowing down below! What a way to start the day!!! All I can say is ...."Loved It!!"

Mount Victoria allows one to escape and to forget about time. This elegant inn comforts the body and restores the soul. Chris and Lisa are most welcoming, and the breakfast most "fantabulous"!

Chris and Lisa made this place very enjoyable. We got to visit with them and find out a lot of things about Eureka Springs that we were interested about. The breakfasts in the mornings were amazing. It was a very ellegant and very clean place to stay. We would recommend it to anyone who gets a chance to stay here in the future.

We have visited multiple Inns across the country and internationally. This, by far, was one of the best. The small details such as tea, coffee, fresh baked cookies and bottled water were a plus. The linens and bed/room were extremely comfortable and top nothch. The breakfasts wonderful! The option of just watching a DVD in the room made life nice! Chris and Lisa were the ultimate hosts. We highly recommend the Mount Victoria to anyone that would like a home away from home, whilst still feeling pampered.

Mt. Victoria was great! I have stayed at many B&B across New England and never felt so welcomed by Chris & Lisa. They made you feel as if they had been your friend for years. They recommend places to dine and even order a limo for us so that we could wine and dine without the worries of driving. Our room was beautifully decorated and reminded me of my own bedroom at home. The breakfast was wonderful and I plan on returning next time for a full weekend. Keep up the good work. I'll see you again!

Mount Victoria is very romantic! That being said, I felt very comfortable and at home there. I stayed in the Sanders Suite, and I would recommend it. Chris and Lisa were very gracious, and helped steer us to get restaurants and local attractions. If this is your first time to Eureka, I would recommend Mount Victoria first and foremost--for the experience and the value.

If you are looking for a welcoming home with great hosts, then the Mount Victoria is your place to stay. We choose the Mount Victoria off the internet primarily because of the look of the rooms, and when we arrived we certainly were not disappointed by what we saw in person. Chris and Lisa have updated their home so that it is beautiful yet comfortable with all the amenities you would want. They do make you feel as if you have just gone to visit old friends. FYI-the only reason we didn't give our suite a higher rating was because the thermostat wasn't working correctly in our room and the temperature was difficult to control. Not Chris and Lisa's fault that it choose to go out while we were there but it did affect our comfort at night.

My husband and I spent the weekend at Mount Victoria. Chris and Lisa made us feel just like we were old friends visiting in their home for the weekend. The room (Clayton Suite) was beautiful, and the breakfasts were amazing! Cookies and drinks were available 24/7, along with a huge library of DVD's to watch and books to read. Chris and Lisa had several recommendations on stores and restaurants to visit, and they also arranged for us to have a "Couple's Massage" on Saturday afternoon, which was a real treat! We hope to return soon!

This was our second visit to Mount Victoria and can't wait to return. This is a perfect location to everything in Eureka. Lisa and Chris are like old friends who take the time to make your stay very special. The Breakfast is out of this world. Our time at Mount Victoria takes us away from the stress of our hectic life. We have stayed at other B&B's and Mount Victoria is by far our favorite. Dan and Kelly, Missouri

After our wedding in December and a fabulous honeymoon on the slopes in Breckenridge Colorado and then on the beach in Puerto Vallarta Mexico, I didn’t think that Eureka Springs would have anything to offer. Much to my surprise, my thoughtful husband booked the Mount Victoria Bed and Breakfast for our first Valentine’s together. Nestled in the quaint town of Eureka Springs is this heartwarming get away. The Mount Victoria was our first B&B. To our delight it was outstanding in every aspect. Champagne, delicious chocolate dipped strawberries, Jacuzzi tub, romantic rooms, relaxing atmosphere, need I say more. Lisa and Chris, the innkeepers, know how to take care of their guests, down to every detail. We are looking forward to our next stay. PS. The breakfast is fabulous!!

This outstanding B & B was given to us as a Christmas gift, which was redeemed Valentine's Day weekend it was perfect from the moment it began. We have been to Eureka Springs only one other time, what a beautiful place it reminded me of a movie "Somewhere In Time" the heart and soul and attention to details were displayed everywhere you turned. I truly felt like I have been spoiled in every sense of the word, from the chocolate dipped strawberry's to the out of this world 5 star breakfast cooked by Chris and served by Lisa. The suite we were in was The Mazaret Room it was so romantic and all it's charm kept us sleeping in late and coming home early!!!! I will remember and cherish the time spent there for ever. The Innkeeper's Chris & Lisa were so personable and it seemed like you had know them for years so comfortable and pleasant to talk with very knowledgeable and helpful. We would recommend this B & B to everyone we know it is a 5 star memory to us. Scott & Sandy OKC OK

My husband surprised me with a quick one night getaway at the Mount Victoria, and it couldn't have been more lovely. Chris and Lisa were wonderful to let us check in early and after an afternoon of shopping is was a pleasure to come back and enjoy peace and solitude on the porch swing. They also gave us a recommendation of an awesome Italian restaurant just down the street to where we were able to walk to dinner. Our room was spacious and cozy and perfect in every way. Breakfast was wonderful and creative. We couldn't have ask for a more relaxful night or more gracious hosts than Chris and Lisa. We will definitely return to the Mount Victoria, only next time, for more than one night.

As Lisa and Chris know, they were my first choice and as the saying goes..ya snooze, ya lose! HOWEVER, it was meant to be that we wound up at Mount Victoria. It was better then we had hoped. The only regret was that we couldn't stay longer...but we will the next time for sure! The hospitality and graciousness started as soon as we pulled up and continued right through. The house was beautiful AND cozy, everything so tastelfully done. And speaking of great taste...the food was just incredible in taste and presentation. Lisa and Chris, you are doing a great job and we truly are looking forward to seeing you again soon! Give our love to Molly, Ping & Pong.

We had our delicious breakfast served on our veranda. There was coffee, drinks, and fresh baked cookies available all day. It was the perfect place to stay!

Clearly, this is the most perfect place to stay in Eureka Springs. My mom,mother-in-law, sister-in-law and her mom stayed two nights at the B&B. It was awesome. Chris and Lisa "Rock"! The food is Amazing, and all of the details. From the yummy cookies waiting for us to the Chocolates on our pillows, to the mouth watering Steaks and homemade bread. Lisa is so fun to visit with, and so accomodating. It was wonderful, and I can only hope I get to visit again next summer. Oh, and it is extremely clean too!!!

My husband and I needed a one night stay in Eureka for a special event in town. Chris and Lisa were able to accomidate our request where most B&B's wouldn't. The house was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. We felt so comfortable to lounge on the porch and in our room. We walked to the Cresent for massages and to Ermilio's for dinner. My husband, Jerry & I have been going to Eureka Springs for over 16 years and have stayed at several B&Bs. Mount Victoria is the all time best! Lisa made us feel welcome & at home the minute she opened the door to this beautiful home. All rooms are delightful and clean. Lisa and Chris make you feel so special and pampered. Chris makes the very best breakfasts ever - yummy and also artistically displayed. Moutn Victoria is definitely where we will stay in Eureka Springs from now on and will recommend it to all our friends.

Don and I try to go to Eureka Springs at least once a year. We were so pleased with Mount Victoria's right from the start. Rooms were beautifully decorated without the frills and bows. The gardens were beautiful in spite of a late frost. I mean who can resit the rabbit in the front and the monkey on the bench. Yes, I know they have names but if it isn't George and Peter I can't remember, The breakfast was to die for,Raseberry waffles with fruit and Real Maple Syrup and an egg dish. We didn't need to eat any lunch. Lisa and Chris cook a wonderful private candlelit dinner for just the two of us that was unbeleivable. The best part was the way they made us feel at home. This is on my list of places to visit again and soon.

My cousins' and my birthdays are two days apart and we chose to spend part of our week at Mount Victoria B&B. We have had several birthdays?? and wanted to do something different for this one. (It was a big one!) We truly chose the right spot. The rooms are all elegant, comfortable, private, and the food was delicious. We ordered Italian from just down the street for dinner and ate on the second floor porch for the evening meal....for a little something different, then the next morning we enjoyed Chris's gormet breakfast in the dining room. Everything about our stay was perfect. Thank you Chris and Lisa for our relaxing stay!

Anything we needed was delivered- Chris was so great to escort us to a remote place that we needed to visit....which was way above and beyond the call of duty. We felt as if we had known them forever upon our first meeting. If you are looking for great people who treat their guests like royalty...visit Mount Victoria B&B! There is no place else we would rather stay!

This is one place that we will definitely tell our friends about. When I visit a bed and breakfast, I want to see some history on the walls, I want to feel transported into another place and time; this home did that. It is exquisitely decorated with many of its furnishings belonging to the owners’ treasure chest of family heirlooms. We stayed in the Jackson Suite which held a beautiful, old bed and armoire, a huge jacuzzi tub and great light coming in through the bedroom’s 3 windows. Since this was our third anniversary, my husband spoke with Lisa and Chris and had arranged for my favorite flower to be placed on the table along with chocolate-dipped strawberries and a bottle of bubbly. It was the perfect way to celebrate our marriage. Breakfast the next morning was just as wonderful. The menu included omelets stuffed with spinach, garlic and parmesan, giant FRESH baked muffins (not those mini muffins—this was the Mac Daddy of muffins: B-I-G), turkey sausage links (yes, they’re health conscious, too) and cantaloupe. We chose to dine downstairs but you can opt to have breakfast in your room. We rather enjoyed the conversation with Lisa, Chris and some of the other guests. If you want cable TV, mini shampoos and a cheap rate, check yourself into the local motel for an equally cheap experience. If you want to enjoy your stay in Eureka Springs, meet some great people and have a rich and lasting experience, call the folks at Mount Victoria. We won’t stay anywhere else.

My sister and I had a wonderful two day stay at Mount Victoria B&B. Chris and Lisa were so warm and welcoming, and the accomodations, breakfasts, and blooming trees were memorable! Our favorite things were scenery watching while sitting on the Verandah and walking through the quaint neighborhood to a nearby restaurant for a delicious Italian dinner.

We first stayed here in March with our daughter and son-in-law. The rooms were great...beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable...and we had dinner at the inn as well as breakfast the next morning. The food was fantastic! We chose what we wanted for dinner, and I can't say how delicious it was. Chris and Lisa are so friendly we felt like we had known them for years. We are going back again this weekend to celebrate our anniversary (4 weeks later) so you know we really love it! I would recommend it to anyone!

My husband and I stayed at Mount Victoria for a weekend. We were graciously greeted by the Innkeepers - Chris and Lisa, who anticipated our every need--from sweets on the pillows at night to freshly brewed coffee waiting outside our bedroom in the morning. The whirlpool bath, luxurious bed, and scrumptious breakfast ensured our return to Mount Victoria soon. We just adored Lisa's high-spirited energy and Chris' unflappable demeanor. They made us feel like family!!!

Our stay here has been wonderful! Your food is gourmet, simple and elegant all at once-wonderfully prepared by Chris. Your style is elegant and simple, understated and interesting all at once. You are wonderful hosts, attentive to all our needs and wants. Our conversations were fun and interesting. In other words, we could not have asked for anything more than what you already gave us. It was a restorative and interesting to be there. We remarked last night that if we were ever to stay in Eureka Springs, we would like to be friends with you two for years to come! This was wonderful for us! We will recommend Mount Victoria highly to many for years to come.

I spent 2 lovely days and nights in the warm elegance of Mount Victoria. Chris and Lisa 's hospitality made me feel as though I were a welcome guest in their home. Chris' five-course gourmet breakfasts were a delight as was the wonderful Jacuzzi tub ...what a way to start the day! They both took such an interest in making my visit to Eureka Springs a memorable one, even giving me ideas for shopping and sightseeing. There are many things to see and do in and around Eureka Springs, but one thing I won't change is my choice of B&B - it will always be Mount Victoria!

WE enjoyed our stay here b/c this is not your grandma's B&B. This place is up to date & beautiful and you want to take decorating ideas home to your own house. Very contemporary with a southern flare. Very private! You actually have a choice to eat in your room. The owners are very pleasing and try to inform you of all the nightlife and activities going on so you dont have to research yourself. The food was the best food we have ever had at a B&B. The food exceded our expectations & they really catered to our personal needs. I would highly recommend. We will go back over & over. I couldnt imagine staying anywhere else.
