A piece of heaven on earth

5 on June 14, 2017

This was our first stay at a B & B and we are so happy we picked Magnolia Springs. We felt so welcome and comfortable with the owners, we stayed another night. The food was delicious (and healthy). It inspired my "meat and potatoes guy" to want to try different and healthier foods. Our stay there will be a memory my husband and I will cherish and we will definitely go back. It truly exceeded our expectations. Thank you, Dave and Eric, for sharing your amazing home with us.

Innkeeper Response
So glad to turn you on to an entirely different way to travel. You see now how much more you get for your dollar when you get excellent food, clean rooms, expert local advice on the area and a truly accommodating atmosphere. So I turned him on to a healthier way of eating? That is one of the best and biggest compliments I have ever received. I really work hard to give the traveling public not only excellent tasting dishes, but items that you can eat and feel good about eating. I want them to be healthy as well as good tasting. Way to go on your new way to a healthier you! And you thought all you were going to get was a room! Awesome review and again thanks so much!

To be greeted with a genuine smile, and a hug, and cookies, indicated that we were definitely in for a wonderful stay at Magnolia Springs B&B. David immediately made us feel welcome and excited for the days ahead. His enthusiasm in sharing his dream of owning a B&B and how this dream was being lived each and every day was contagious. His love of the area and his 20 years of experience were obvious in the meticulous way he operates Magnolia Springs B&B. The breakfast each morning set the tone for the day- always served with a smile and a desire to keep everyone happy and well-fed for that day. Eric quietly moves throughout the home and assures the guests that they are genuine in their desire to make guests feel as friends, not customers. The home and the lot showcase their desire to help guest make memories and feel welcome. We look forward to staying with them again and plan to recommend it to our family and friends. The Riley's

A brief but delightful stay.

4.4 on March 09, 2017

We were about to depart for a long road trip for business when our church friends said, "If you're going to Foley, Alabama, you must stay at the Magnolia Springs Bed & Breakfast." On their recommendation, I made reservations, and we were not disappointed. Every aspect of our brief stay was met with perfection. The quaint house has been beautifully maintained, the queen room upstairs was well appointed; and then there was the 3-course breakfast! All good. My husband and I promise that the next time we're in the area, we'll spend more than one night at this lovely B&B.

Innkeeper Response
So glad that you enjoyed it and want to come back to spend more time. We have so much in the area to offer and look forward to turning you on to some new favorite haunts, restaurants and experiences! We appreciate your kind words and thanks and hope to see you soon!

Spring and azaleas at Magnolia Springs B&B

4.4 on March 24, 2016

David and Eric were fabulous hosts and helped us to relax immediately. Tasty breakfasts and evening chocolates and homemade cookies were wonderful! The grounds were beautiful and well taken care of. Their two cats, Snickers and Tigger, were an added bonus during our trip to explore Mobile, Fairhope, Theodore, and Magnolia Springs. We will definitely return!

Lovely!!!!

Simply the most gracious and delightful stay. We were only here one night and it was superb. David and Eric provide a superlative customer experience. The house and town are out of a picture book. The breakfast is beyond wonderful. I can't recommend this enough. You must go!

Innkeeper Response
I'm so glad you liked it here and now you know that there is so much to see and do that one night just was not nearly enough! Looking forward to your return visit and thanks so much for the awesome review!

Three times is a charm!

5 on February 12, 2013

This was our third visit to Magnolia Springs B&B. A get away weekend from our home near Birmingham. Enjoyed our time at the Gulf Shores and took in a Mardis Gras parade in nearby Daphne. Our stay was as fabulous as we remembered! Cozy, warm comfortable room; fabulous bed; perfect amenities right down to the toilet paper and tissue! And, I truly believe the breakfasts are the best we've ever had at a B&B -- three magnificent courses cooked fresh! Thanks to Eric and David for once again making our visit memorable and worth it! We will be back!

Signature Dish

Romaine Casserole
Because no one ever figures out that they are eating Romaine Lettuce. I thought of eggs like a protein. Before your meat you might have a salad and you might flavor your meet with Onion and Worcestershire. So I took that idea and added cheese and Romaine lettuce and it is one of the best tasting dishes and so healthy as well! It shocks guest to know how healthy it is and that they are mainly eating Romaine Lettuce!
