Karen and Jim are absolutely amazing people that made being away from home for a week stay very pleasant. Their hospitality outweighs any establishment I have ever stayed at. The cabins are very clean with everything you could possibly need right there. Fresh duck eggs, groceries and everything else needed made our trip that much more relaxing. Karen and Jim are great people to talk to about anything at all, and so very welcoming! I wanted to get a certain present for one of my children. This present was extremely special and had a lot of meaning behind it. Karen and Jim searched high and low for someone who could make it and within two days, I had it. This establishment and the couple who runs it is a very special place run by two very special people. My family and I will be back very soon and these two people as well as the lodge will have a special place in my father and my hearts forever. If you need a great place to stay in Alaska, this is it.

We stayed at the Daniels Lake Lodge bed and Breakfast for a week in late Aug 2015 the setting was beautiful the two bedroom cabin we stayed in was awesome it was very nicely furnished and had everything we needed to set up a temp home for a week. If it didn't have something all we had to do was ask the owners and they brought it right over .i would definitely recommend it to anyone. It was fantastic in our books!!

Long drive from Anchorage. Lake view is great (for two lodge rooms only). Very rustic. Make your own breakfast if wanted.

Daniels lodge is a great, relaxing place. Although we did not have the opportunity to take advantage of the lake, it was absolutely beautiful! The cabin was very clean, but did have a few things needing work, like the washer and some window repair. However, the owner said we could do wash at the main cabin (right next door) if needed. Owner very nice, waited up for us, since we got in late, and was very helpful. She even stocked our refrigerator with food, including reindeer sausage! Nice touch! I would definitely recommend this place and I would love to go back!
