Beautiful gardens surround Angel of the Berwicks. Guests are so enchanted, they usually linger. The Music Room is one of four public rooms in the inn where guests can gather for friendly conversation, or steal away to spend a quiet moment together. The baby grand piano is available for the guests to play.
The Library offers a selection of books on local lore and history, and is an ideal spot to enjoy your early morning coffee. The Dining Room is perhaps the most luxurious room in the inn with a beautiful floral-patterned ceiling, impressive fireplace, paneled walls and massive brass door hinges.
In the Day Room, guests can gather to watch TV or play their favorite board games. On football Saturdays and Sundays, "the place is rock'n."The Inn's welcome sign is surrounded by beautiful peonies which were planted by original owner Mary Hurd.
There is no better place to experience a majestic Maine Autumn than Angel of the Berwicks. The Great Works Guest Room features 11-foot ceilings, a beautiful fireplace mantle, decorative frieze, chaise lounge and antique furniture. It was once the bedroom of Daniel Hurd, who was married to the owner, Mary Hurd.
If you're looking for romance, Angel of the Berwicks' large guest rooms and suites allows you and a loved one to get lost in the intimacy of a bygone era.
