Sailing on the Woodwind is an interactive experience. Help raise the sails, steer the boat, or simply sit back and relax with a cold beverage. We have wonderful regional microbrews, wine and bubbly.Even if you don't want to stayaboard for our Boat & Breakfast Package, we sail up to four times daily from the Annapolis Marriott Waterfront Hotel. Sailing cruises are typically 2-hours, we do have longer cruises and themed dinner cruises on many Sundays.
Cabins aboard the Schooner Woodwind are very comfortable. Full-size berths have wood trim everywhere (its actually the framework for the boat). Each stateroom shares a head (bathroom & shower) with another couple. All staterooms are private and have air conditionerand opening ports. Snuggle into one of our cabins!
Sunset over the historic Annapolis city skyline. This is the view from Woodwind as we sail into the Annapolis Harbor on our two-hour sunset sail. This sail is included with your Boat & Breakfast package! Many sailing regattas take place in Annapolis. This is a very common scene when sailing on Schooner Woodwind. Notic the United States Naval Academy Chapel in the background. Beautiful views!
Schooner Woodwind was designed and built in 1993. Owned and operated by the same family who had the dream of building the boat. A very knowledgable captain stays aboard while up to four couples enjoy their overnight stay.Breakfast over looking Annapolis Harbor, Maryland. Breakfast consists of Apple Cake, Crab & Asparagus Quiche, Fresh Berries, Yogurt & Granola, fresh queezed oj & coffee.
Raise the sails, steer the boat or simply sit back and relax on your 2-hour sunset sail on the Chesapeake Bay that is included in your Boat & Breakfast package.
