The dining room and the foyer flank the extraordinary slate fireplace at The Governor's Inn in Ludlow, VermontGuests can enjoy afternoon tea in the parlor, in the dining room, or on the front porch of The Governor's Inn, Ludlow, Vermont.
From the moment you step into this late Victorian country home, you are surrounded by the gracious elegance and warm hospitality.  Relax and be pampered.The Suite features a romantic bedchamber with four-poster queen-size bed, down comforter, and plush pillows, and a great view over the roof tops of Okemo Mountain.  Curl up by the corner Vermont Castings gas stove fireplace in winter; or relax in the sitting room with its Vermont-style window, cable TV with DVD/VHS player, and chaise longue.  A separate bathroom with shower adjoins the tub.  Air conditioned.
Awake to a bountiful breakfast: Start with warm muffins; follow with a yogurt and granola parfait; and finish with our Egg Puff - a Vermont cheese custard baked in a puff pastry, served sizzling sausage and coffee or tea.  Yum!!  The Governor's Room.  Elegant room with King size bed, sitting area, beautiful gas fireplace and cable TV w/DVD and VCR.
Snuggle up under a cozy comforter on the king-size bed. Watch the sunset behind Okemo Mountain beyond the village green.  Enjoy the warmth and charm of a Vermont Castings gas stove.  Unwind in the two person aqua-massage tub ---- perfect for relaxing after winter or summer vacation activities! Priscilla's Room, our largest bedroom, includes a small sitting area with loveseat and overlooks our summertime garden. The room features an antique queen-size bed with hand-carved walnut head and foot boards, burled armoire, marble-topped dressing table, private bath, gas fireplace, and cable television (with VCR/DVD).
Enjoy the Suite's two person aqua massage tub after a full day of summer or winter vacation activities.  Watch the sunset over the village green and Okemo Mountain just one mile away.Annabelle's Room, with queen-size bed, is decorated with soft florals, Ralph Lauren linens, and American Balmore lace curtains.  This charming room features a gas fireplace, cable TV with DVD/VHS player, and a dressing area with built-in armoire.  Air conditioned.
Laura's Room invites you to hide away at tree top level.  Snuggle in the king bed, be warmed by the Vermont Castings gas stove fireplace (or cooled by the air conditioning), read or watch TV - cable or DVD, or contemplate your day in the Okemo Valley.Lizzie's Room, beautifully decorated in blue and white florals, with queen-size bed and private bath, is named for the governor's wife.  This cozy room overlooks Main Street and the village green with a view of Okemo Mountain.
