Zucchini Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1/2 cup veg. oil
  • 1 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa
  • 2 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups shredded zucchini
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Cream butter, oil and sugar, add eggs, vanilla and buttermilk, mix well, add cocoa, flour, baking powder, soda and salt, mix well, then stir in the zucchihi and pour into a buttered 9 x 13 pan, sprinkle the chocolate chips and chopped nuts on top of cake, bake at 325 for 40 to 45 minutes.
