Hermann Hill's Scrambled Egg Casserole

  • 1 and 1/3 C Milk
  • flour
  • milk
  • Worchestershire sauce
  • butter
  • cheddar cheese, grated


  1. Mix flour and 8 cups milk together. Add to ham/bacom/mushrooms in frying pan. Cook until thick, stirring constantly. Season to taste with Worchestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
  2. Beat eggs with 1 cup milk. Melt butter in pan, then scramble eggs. DO NOT COOK DRY.
  3. In 16 ramekins, layer sauce, then eggs, then sauce. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  4. Bake at 290 degrees for one hour.
  5. Fry bacon until crisp. Drain grease. Add ham and mushrooms.
