Preheat waffle iron and preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sift first 4 ingredients together into large bowl. Beat eggs. Make a well in dry ingredient; pour the next 3 ingredients eggs, milk,and butter into well and mix until smooth. Make waffles all the waffles.
Make the cream. In a saucepan combine the remaining ingredients except the blueberries and strawberries. Cook stirring until mixture thickens, about 5 minutes. In a small bowl beat egg yolks slightly and add slowly to milk mixture. Stirring constantly, coll until thickened. Remove from heat and add vanilla and stir. Chill until ready to use.
To Assemble: Spray 13 x 9 pan with cooking spray. Place a layer of waffles along the bottom of the pan; using 1/2 of the cream spread a layer of cream on the waffles. Layer on top of the cream 1/2 of the strawberries and blueberries. Top with another waffle, spread the rest of the cream on the waffles. Top with the remaining strawberries and blueberries. Bake for 20 minutes. Serves 8.
