Baked cheese Omelet

  • 8 Eggs
  • 1/3 cup Sour cream
  • 2 cups Grated cheese of choice (i.e. Monterey Jack, Cheddar, Muenster, Gruyere, etc.)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Choice of additions: chopped green onions, fresh dill, smoked salmon, sauteed mushrooms, diced ham


  1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease an 8x8 baking pan.
  2. Beat eggs well until frothy, then add sour cream and beat well again. Stir in cheese, salt and pepper, and prepared vegetables and or meat as desired. Pour into prepared pan.
  3. Bake 25-30 minutes or until casserole doien't wobble when "jiggled".
