  • 1 and 1/3 C All-purpose flour
  • 1 and 1/3 C Milk
  • lemon juice
  • grated lemon peel
  • all purpose flour
  • salt
  • milk
  • glaze
  • lemon juice
  • confectioners sugar

  1. Bake in 350 degree pre-heated oven for 45 minutes or until bread tests done.
  2. Glaze- Combine 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and 1/2 cup confectioners sugar
  3. Remove bread from pan and immediately drizzle with glaze. Cool on a wire rack.
  4. To save time make multiple loaves, two to four at once, and freeze individually. For smaller groups use the smaller mini or demi loaf pans.
  5. Lemon Bread- see below for glaze instructions. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, 2tablespoons of lemon juice and peel. Combine flour, baking powder and salt and stir into creamed mixture alternately with milk. Pour into greased 8in x 4in x 2in loaf pan.
