Ingredients

  • 1 and 1/3 C All-purpose flour
  • 1 and 1/3 C Milk
  • baking soda
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of cloves
  • oil
  • bread flour
  • baking powder

Instructions

  1. Sift together the flour and baking powder. Add and incorporate the flour and baking powder. Mix until smooth.
  2. Place on well greased sheet pans before placing batter.
  3. Bake at 370º until toothpick comes clean.
  4. Frosting for the cake consists of 3 lbs of cream cheese, 1 1/2 cups of sugar and a teaspoon of vanilla whipped until smooth.
  5. Combine pureed asparagus, sugar, eggs, baking soda, salt, and spices. Gradually add the oil.
