Relax ~ in one of our four private casitas surrounded by tranquil waterfalls that descend into a soothing river. The casitas are wonderfully ventilated and climate controlled by your remote controlled quiet air conditioner. Or stay cool with a comfortable ceiling fan. Naturally there is great lighting for reading, dressing, and ambiance. Each casita is also equipped with Internet access, a phone, and cable television. Refresh ~ in our spacious filtered pool. Do laps, aquatic aerobics, enjoy a complimentary tropical fruit beverage from our water covered pool stools or just float! Afterwards take part in our national ritual, a siesta in a hammock. Our are located poolside! Recharge ~ in your room. Your own private glass enclosed waterfall in the shower. Lather up to the sights and sounds of tranquil cascading water. Now that is luxury! And, of course, start each day with a complete breakfast. Revitalize ~ by taking advantage of our many spa services. We can also arrange a hair care, manicure, or pedicure.

Ellyne and her Husband were the most gracious hosts. They genuinely cared about us as their guests. They were very helpful in arranging tours as well as recommending restaurants to dine in within the city of Merida. The rooms were well ventilated and charming and clean. The employees especially Miguel was great. Breakfast was wonderful as well as plentiful. It was a joy to stay there and hope to return in the future. Thank you Ellyne and Chucho.

We recently stayed 4 nights at Cascadas de Merida. The experience was extremely wonderful and a home away from home. The accomodations were beautiful and quiet. This is a great place to stay as it is within walking distance to the plaza. Breakfasts were plentiful and very tasty. I would highly recommend this to everyone. The staff was exceptional and very helpful to make your stay comforting. They went out of the way to help us with our needs.

We return 80% of your deposit if cancellation is made more than 20 days prior to your stay. We return 50% of your deposit if cancellation is made less than 20 days prior to your stay. Should you need to change your reservation at any time, we will apply your entire deposit with no penalty - provided a room is available.

The hosts here have thought of everything you might want in a B&B. Our room was spacious and very comfortable (quiet, great bed, plenty of big thick bath towels). The pool looks just like this picture, and you'll have your own private waterfall view from your shower! Breakfast is a gourmet delight. Cascades is centrally located, close to museums, tourist attractions and great restaurants. A big added bonus is the charming and knowledgeable owner who keeps up with everything going on in town. I had a lovely time at Cascadas de Merida. the breakfasts were enormous and I felt like a member of the family. I highly recommend this B & B to anyone who is looking to visit the Mayan ruins because the tours will stop right at the door.
