Inn Details
This elegant, five-guestroom log home is as beautiful and inviting as its backdrop, the legendary Grand Teton mountain range. The 6,000 square-foot home built in 1995, is entirely composed of huge pine logs, many salvaged from the great fire of 1988 in Yellowstone National Park. The open, slate entry leads into a massive, three-story living area that showcases a floor to ceiling 30 ft. river rock fireplace, a baby grand piano, and an adjacent library. The warm and inviting dining room features hand-painted tables and cheerfully eclectic Western decor. A stately log staircase leads up to the guest rooms off the open landing. A large cedar deck runs across the back of the Bentwood, where guests gather in friendly clusters at the end of the day to enjoy complimentary beer, wine and hors d'oeuvres and a view of the sunset over the spectacular Tetons. Bentwood offers guests all the comforts of home and more - including your own personal whirlpool bathtub, a fireplace in every room and the very finest in amenities. Each morning Bentwood's guests awake to the enticing scent of fresh baked muffins and fresh ground coffee. A robust breakfast is served with a different entree each day, such as German Apple Pancakes, Huevos Rancheros, or Egg Souffle all accompanied by country ham or bacon, fresh fruit, fresh squeezed orange juice, cereal, muffins and yogurt.
Innkeeper Information
Innkeepers Description:

The bedroom/ bath are truly wheelchair accessible, a welcomed relief upon our arrival. I particularly enjoyed our time around the fire pit exchanging our days adventures with other guest. The innkeepers are extremely gracious and accommodating. The dinner was a bit disappointing.

I wish we had scheduled a longer stay at the Bentwood Inn. The location to the Grand Tetons was great and our room had a very homey feel. Our only disappointment was the advertised wine social that didn't provide wine because of the local laws. Our innkeeper did offer to reimburse $10 daily for guests who purchased their own wine. The bistro dinner was a nice touch. The breakfasts were delightful.

My wife and I recently traveled to Jackson Hole for a short winter escape from Orange County. We searched online and wanted something different. The Bentwood Inn exceeded our expectations. The pictures on the website don’t do it justice. Walking through the front door, seeing the ambiance of the huge fireplace with a crackling fire was impressive. The hand peeled logs, baby grand piano and all the artwork was also impressive. We wanted and got the authentic Jackson Hole, Wyoming lodge experience. Our inns keeper made us feel welcomed and attended to all our needs. She put out a wine and cheese spread in the evenings and cooked us an unbelievably delectable breakfast each morning of our stay. The location was really nice. We were in between the city of Jackson and the ski mountain nestled in the forest. We can’t wait to come back on our next visit to Jackson Hole.

The facilty was very comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding. We especailly enjoyed the many interesting guests we met during our stay. Our room and bathroom room were relatively small. However, beautifully decorated with access to a private deck outside of our room. We would return.
