Hi! Welcome to our Wyoming guest ranch web site. We, the Carys, invite you to look over the information, gaze at the pictures, and check out our pricing structure. Whether you are interested in the ranch and area generally, or in something specific (fishing, hiking, riding, hunting, history, geology, photography), your expectations will be met and exceeded. Guests; families, couples, singles, groups of like-minded people (bikers, hikers, fisherman, etc.) and reunions are sure to enjoy their guest ranch vacation in the mountains of NW Wyoming.

As you come to Hunter Peak Ranch you will travel from one of three directions. Each drive is spectacular in its own way. One route leaves WY Hwy 120 onto WY Hwy 296, also the Chief Joseph Scenic Hwy. This tops out over the Dead Indian Pass with impressive views of the Sunlight Basin. The next two options travel US Hwy 212, also called the Beartooth Scenic Hwy; then turn onto WY Hwy 296, the Chief Joseph Scenic Hwy. The drive west on Hwy 212 from Red Lodge, MT, traverses the Beartooth Plateau. Exiting Yellowstone Park out the Northeast Entrance going east on US Hwy 212 is the third way to reach the ranch. Traveling through the park is a wonder unto itself with its many unique features and scenery. Check out our map in the Contact Us section.

This NW Wyoming guest ranch is located in the Shoshone National Forest, along the Clarksfork River at 6700‘ elevation. One hundred and fifty acres give guests the feeling of room to relax and explore in. The facilities are situated quite close to the river. Fishing, swimming, tubing, constructive loafing, and contemplations cannot be ignored. The horseback riding, fishing, hiking, and winter sports are quite exceptional. We invite families, singles, fishermen and hunters, college classes and alumni, and reunions. Guests celebrating special events weddings and receptions, birthdays, anniversaries, and other gatherings in this setting leave with wonderful and long-lasting memories.
