The General Lewis Inn, an historic West Virginia country inn and restaurant, in Lewisburg, WV, is the ideal setting for your romantic weekend getaway, adventure on crystal blue water or trip back into time in the beautiful Greenbrier Valley of West Virginia. Did you hear the sound of cannon fire? Oh, we didn’t mention that the General Lewis is located on the site of an 1862 Civil War Battle. Civil War and Revolutionary history lives around every corner of our historically preserved town.

My stay at the General Lewis was very nice. I travel a lot and prefer either Marriott or small hotels and I must say the staff, food, service and room was great. If you want a great experience in West Virginia stay at the General Lewis. Rick Hunt

Lafayette,NJ 07848; ROADSLIK! The only thing I found was that parking spaces need to be restriped and people need to learn how to park! Otherwise, the stay was EXCELLENT!

Room large enough, but bathroom could have been larger. While the breakfast the next morning was very good, I feel a B & B should offer a free breakfast. I know it used to be part of Select Registry B & B's, which has very high standards. While we did not have dinner in the dining room that evening, the menu looked reasonable. Front desk wasn't overly friendly.
