    Highlawn Inn Carriage House

    We have stayed at Highlawn Inn several times over the last few years and are always amazed at how wonderful it is. It's our second time in the Carriage House and what a treat it is to stay there. Sandy and crew do an outstanding job and I would highly recommend it.

    Lovely staff, Good food

    I would stay here again and again and refer the Inn to anyone who asked. The women working the inn were friendly and helpful, the breakfast spread was delicious, and I was surprised to have the bed remade when I got back to my room after eating. They must have slipped out while I was sipping my coffee. The room itself was warm and comfortable, although I was taller than the shower head. To be expected though given the time period it was built. Staying here only added to a wonderful weekend and made the get away that much better.

    Simply delightful

    A great place in a great location. The town of Berkeley Springs is pretty small but it's still nice being in this spot that's just a couple blocks from everything and around the corner from the wonderful Lot 12 restaurant. Our hosts were friendly and helpful while not being intrusive. The room was big, nicely decorated, impeccably clean. I'd be happy to be back again.

    Great even in the snow!

    Fellowship, food and ambiance cannot be beat. Snow on the ground, young cat adopted us (including in our room), fire in the fireplace for wonderful breakfast with gracious service and bountiful and delicious food; can't be topped. Been to number of B&B's in Berkeley Springs previously and to enjoy fine dinners at Tari's and Lot 12. This clearly is a B&B that we'll return and enjoy again.
