White Rose Inns

The White Rose Inn is an empty-nester's dream! It was a beautiful get-away. Every room is beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the Blue Room. The staff were all so friendly and caring. The pool was clean and warm, the patio was lovely, and the garden and grounds kept very well. We enjoyed our breakfasts and the peace and quiet of the area. Yet we were a short walk from where we could board boats, buy tickets, etc. We had a wonderful time.

My boyfriend and I were absolutely blown away by this cute little B&B. The room more than exceeded our expectations, and the staff did everything they possibly could to give us what we needed for the price we wanted. Lily's Room without a doubt is the best room I have ever received on a vacation, and for a very affordable price. We are sure to come back here again, and when we do, The White Rose Inn will be the ONLY place we will stay. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect, peaceful getaway.

We have stayed here numerous times - in the motel & in two of the B&B's. The staff are very friendly, the rooms clean & the B&B rooms are adorable! The location is great - right across from the river walk & 2 blocks from downtown Dells. We won't stay anywhere else.

My husband and I stayed here for our 1 year anniv. The room was very nice, and we loved the LARGE in room tub with mirrors surronding it. We were greeted and gave the key to our room, and had no further contact with anyone in the staff until breakfast time. The breakfast was in the basement, which was a little chilly. Also it was "restaurant" style not cozy like I expected. The food was tasty, but generic, like I could get at any restaurant. Staff was pleasant. A little pricey, even in October, which is not a peak season in that area. Overall a good time, but such a hotel feel which was not what we were looking for.

My husband and I stayed in the Summer Room in Sherman House for Labor Day weekend. It was absolutely wonderful! The Inn is beautiful, everyone was friendly and helpful, and the view from the room was spectacular. We also really enjoyed the common areas such as the fireplace in the living room. We will definitely return.

We sat on the front lawn for over an hour admiring the GREAT Wisconsin River, what a view. Service was great!!! Great room--we stayed in the Cottage House; breakfast was served on the patio and outstanding. We give this resort FIVE STARS!!! Thank you

My wife and I had our second honeymoon in the Dells at the whiterose. Wow! Were blown away by the simple, clean rooms and the very friendly staff. Will definately come again.

We stayed in the motel part during our "babymoon" last June. We had our 12 year old nephew with us, too. Loved the relaxing feel and patio, right across from the river. I'm an early riser and I would sit out there in the morning when everything was still and it was so peaceful. So close to downtown (not that you would realize it) that except for the day we did the water park and water ski show, we walked the 3 blocks to the boat tours and shops. The woman who took the reservation was also SO nice, as was the woman who was at the desk when we checked in or had questions about the area.

We stayed in "the Loft" and it was WONDERFUL! The staff is so friendly and helpful. It is a GREAT location and the value is EXCELLENT: wonderful room, and a lovely breakfast before you start your fun day with the WI Dells attractions. You need to stay here and experience it for yourself.

The wife and I were so looking foward to this week away from home only to find a mess around ever corner!! The room we were in was in the motel part of their complexe. The room was clean, no nasty orders, and, well, nice. But, no phone, no phone book to look up addresses, not much of a tv or stations. If your looking for a nice but no frills or tech. then by all means give the white rose a good look over. It is very quiet here, close to downtown, across from a good place to eat also. If this is your first time in town, dont believe what internet tells you. There is not much of a downtown area, only three blocks on Broadway and thats it! We tried to have a ggod time with the locals, forget it, very rude and hatefull people work here. Now not all of them were bad, but 90% of them were. All I can say is if you want a good time stay at a huge water park and put up with all the kids or settle for not much in a mom and pop shop.

I spent a very relaxing weekend at this B&B with my girlfriend at Lily's room. We never wanted to leave this room - a nice big whirlpool, special shower for two (I don't know what they call it). Although we were one block away from downtown we felt we were in a completely diferent place since everything was quiet there, and our room overlooked a wide part of the Wisconsin River and the Upper Dells. All in all I highly recomend it and everyone that works there did their best to make you feel welcome and at home, just what you need when you want to getaway and relax.

We were married at the White Rose in 2007 and had a wonderful time. We rented the entire Sherman House for the weekend and all 12 of our guests had a wonderful time. Staff was great and all our expectations for our wedding date were exceeded!! :)

The White Rose Inn exceeded my expectations and I felt right at home. I loved the attention to details and the owners really care about you. The River walk is across the street and everything is so close by. I will return another time soon.

The food was fantastic, the staff very helpful at check-in, usual information for the stay, what to do, where to eat, ammendities, anything we needed we told about or could ask questions anytime. Clean room, nice pool, movies to watch, a good place to get away to to relax. Much nicer than a hotel! B&B is the only way to travel. Hope to visit again! T&D

Stayed at the Sherman House, one of the buildings on the property. Awesome facility. The staff was helpful and friendly. Morning breakfast was great, more than just coffee and donuts. The pool was nice. Restaurant/Pub accross the street. Walk to downtown.
