Weekend

Great room, friendly staff

Weekend stay

3.6 on January 16, 2016

The White Lace Inn (which includes several buildings) is more of a hotel operation than a bed-and-breakfast. By and large we had a nice stay. However the rudeness of the woman in charge of the breakfast was at the extreme of our experiences. Most B&B hosts at least welcome you warmly, answer your questions and perhaps chat a bit. She basically told us what we would be eating, and looked at us as if we were bothering her when we dared to ask a question about our plan for the day. I presume she can smile, but it wasn't evident. To say that she did not make us feel welcome would be an understatement. The host of the B&B Dennis Statz handled us well in the context of a hotel operation, and the young staff serving breakfast were delightful - kind, enthusiastic, helpful.

Another enjoyable stay.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the White Lace Inn. Our room was so cozy and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious especially the gluten-free entrée. We appreciated that they were so willing to accommodate us in that area.

3rd pre-baby moon

Loved the get away over the Christmas Holiday.

Great stay before the game at Lambeau!

4.8 on January 07, 2016

My significant other and I decided to stay at a B & B instead of a hotel near Lambeau for one of the football games recently. Great decision! Our room had a lovely style to it, and a wood-burning fireplace that I loved to use! Breakfast was incredible and all of the staff were friendly. Sturgeon Bay is an adorable town with so many antique shops and fun things to check out. We'll definitely be back!

Absolutely a dream of a Bed & Breakfast!

Was a great experience. Loved our room and the owners, Dennis and Bonnie, were lovely. We'll definitely be back!

Wonderful quick getaway

4.4 on January 05, 2016

We were able to get a room for New Years Eve on short notice, and we're very pleased with the room in the Garden House. The room was very clean, decorated in the way you would expect from an Inn called the White Lace Inn...quaint, with an old world feel. The wood fireplace was so easy to use, the parking was easy, and the hosts were very friendly and accomodating. Would recommend them highly.

Something Special

4.8 on January 02, 2016

We have visited White Lace several times. Each time exceeds our expectations. There is a very welcoming atmosphere. And, the breakfasts are wonderful.

Charming, Elegant & Historic, but needs a tad more polish.

3.6 on December 28, 2015

The stay was wonderful except there were a few cobwebs hanging from the ceiling above the bed -a bit of housekeeping before the guests arrive is in order. The windows could also use some maintenance and the towels were a bit frayed. The staff at the Reynold's house is friendlier, but perhaps a bit of aloofness is part of the charm.
