White Lace Inn

My husband and I visited the area of Sturgon Bay for a weekend away. We were more than pleased with The White Lace and will definitely be returning in the future. The grounds were lovely, breakfast was wonderful, and Dennis was very helpful to us being first timers to the area.

We were very pleased with everything. The bed was extremly comfortable, the whirl pool was wonderful and the the fireplaces were the best. I will definately come back to this place and just be happy to stay inside and never leave.

We have been staying at the Inn for more than a decade. We always return for the peaceful and relaxing setting. The breakfasts are amazing. We always enjoy catching up with Dennis and the staff. It is the perfect place to reconnect with my husband with our busy lifestyles, especially around our anniversary. The Garden House is our favorite.

White Lace Inn caught my eye while I searched for a short escape destination close to home. The house itself is gorgeous and I just absolutely love Victorian style buildings. We stayed in Room 4 in the Main House. It was pretty spacious and the amenities were nice. I was disappointed, however that the surround sound that was supposed to be included with the room (according to the website) was not hooked up. My boyfriend and I tried to see if we could hook it up ourselves but were unable to do so. It would have made our movie night a little more enjoyable. The owners were very nice and breakfast was delicious. I really enjoyed the homemade cookies in the cookie jar in the dining room. There was a dog roaming around the common rooms of the main house. He seemed friendly at first but he did snap at me while I was petting him at one point. Luckily he didn't actually bite me but I decided to steer clear of that dog after that. Overall I really enjoyed my stay at the White Lace Inn and definitely recommend it for people looking for a stay in a historic home for a very reasonable price. We would visit again.

All in all the stay was good, with 2 exceptions. The water was very hard, which did not make for an enjoyable shower. I wonder if they have a water softener system in place. Also, the cable TV reception was very bad for some channels, which does not make sense, I would think a call to the Cable Co. would fix that.

Stayed in room 1 of the main house. Was a lovely room. Very cozy. Only issue was the jacuzzi tub was not clean. Otherwise food, service and people were wonderful.

When I was much younger, I saw an ad for White Lace Inn at the back of a magazine, just white lace curtains blowing in the breeze, & decided then & there I would love to stay there for a vacation. Forty years later, while thinking of planning my first real vacation in 10 years, I came across White Lace Inn again & remembered my dream. I made the reservation &, last October, I finally made my dream vacation a reality. White Lace Inn has the most beautiful & beautifully cared for rooms which make you feel not like a guest, but family. The staff is friendly & provides all your needs. The food is delicious--breakfast in the sunny parlor every morning was a delight. A cup of coffee while relaxing on the spacious front porch watching the world go by starts the day off right. A sing-along with a talented local musical group & fellow guests livens up an evening. I felt like I had come home rather than gone on vacation & enjoyed every minute of it. The only disappointment was having to leave. I would highly recommend a stay at the White Lace Inn to make your dream vacation come true. Thank you, Dennis & Bonnie!

My husband and I have stayed numerous times at the White Lace Inn. We were even married there. The staff was so nice and went out of their way to accomodate us and be helpful. We had planned on getting married outside in the garden but the weather was not on our side. We were able to close off the fireplace room and use that, it was perfect. We highly recommend the White Lace Inn for a nice, relaxing getaway.

We visited in early March. It was a beautiful time to visit Door County. Our room was great and breakfast was outstanding. We will definitely come back again!

Enjoyed the local musicians who came to the house to play, cookies were awesome, bed was comfortable, Clean rooms, people were all very friendly. We chose room #3, because we like to create closeness when we are on vacation alone. This room was the perfect setting for that. Next time room # 2. We like being in the main house because everything is right there. The room rate was very affordable. We are a one income family. We look for the deals. Will be visiting again....:)

We have stayed at the White Lace a number of times. It is one of favorite places to stay, and enjoy what Door County has to offer.

Lovely place. Breakfast was sweeter than I would normally like (cherry-stuffed french toast, bread, and yogurt) but still tasty. Would definitely return, very quaint and cozy.

Thank you to the wonderful staff at the White Lace for being so gracious! We actually feel bad for how we left the room as we actually were somewhat ill overnight. We apologize to the staff, and we hope we didn't wear out our welcome as we'd love to return!

Rooms could use a little updating, but overall REALLY nice people and great location and food!

Great winter getaway. Large whirlpool tub was nice way to come in from the cold.

This February, we again made our semi-annual (sometimes annual) trek to Sturgeon Bay and and The White Lace Inn. It is, and, I think, will always be our favorite! As usual, the stay and the room was a delight...and even though we were not able to get into Suite 16-our prefered room--we had a most enjoyable, restful and romantic time away! This is the one gift my husband can give me any time--and he does! Thanks again--we will be back, there is no doubt!

We stayed at White Lace Inn for a winter weekend get away. It was so relaxing and comfortable. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. We love sitting in the parlor to chat with the inn keeper Dennis. The breakfast is simply amazing and cookies in the afternoon are great. We will definitely return!

We did have to cancel our recent reservations because of family member got hurt. We have stayed at the White Lace in the past and other B&B, but there is something very special about the Whie Lace, I always walk into a room and everything seems to melt away and I am totally relaxed.

This was a great value for a midweek winter place to stay in Door County WI. It is a lovely property with a wonderful proprietor. Breakfast is individually prepared, what a treat. The room had a whirlpool tub! awesome. the only suggestion I would have for some one visiting there is to inquire about the size of the bed! The bed in my room was an antique 4 poster from the 19th century when people were evidently much shorter! It was fine for me but if you are 6' tall, it could be a bit cramped!

My husband and I received a gift certificate for a stay at the White Lace Inn and what a wonderful gift it was! We had not ever had the pleasure of staying in a Bed and Breakfast and were very impressed with our time at the White Lace Inn. The rooms were wonderfully decorated and very clean! We had two fireplaces to keep us cozy, comfortable furnishings, and a wonderful, large whirlpool tub! The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast delicious! We will definitely plan future trips to this wonderful Inn!

My wife and I drove up from Madison for a few days of relaxation. The rooms were beautiful and relaxing. The rooms have whirlpool bathtubs, usually close to a gas fireplace. It was amazing. The owners were very accommodating and served us an incredible breakfast every morning. We plan on staying there again in the future.

Innkeepers Dennis and Bonnie have a wonderful Inn. Very comfortable, clean, and delightfully decorated. Bedding is very cozy, fireplace adds to the ambiance, and the two-person whirlpool is spacious. Breakfasts were delicious. Can't wait to return!

As we were looking for a place to get married, we came across The White Lace Inn on the internet and fell in love with this romantic victorian setting. We knew that this was the perfect place for us to recite our vows and were exceedingly pleased with the entire experience. It was the perfect place for our intimate ceremony and we absolutely loved Reverend Sweet with his wonderful sense of humor and gentle kindness. We highly recommend that anyone who is looking to have a small, intimate, and romantic wedding ceremony make The White Lace Inn their top choice. Dennis and Bonnie were very warm and kind hosts and we greatly appreciated their hospitality - hats off to Bonnie for her wonderful cooking!!!

I first came to White Lace Inn with a friend in 1994 who was helping me have a get away after 7 1/2 years of not sleeping through the night from having 3 little girls in 4 years. White Lace Inn and Door County were so special, it never left my mind and heart. I have been back twice now with my husband and have stayed in the "Hideaway" which is like our own little "home away from home" with its own private staircase and wood burning fireplace. This year we came a few days after my daughter's wedding in June knowing we were going to want to get away and relax and we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and not able to go to Italy as planned. It was as usual, beautiful and quiet, so serene. We cherish the memories of it! Thank you Dennis for your hospitality and wonderful breakfast!

My husband enjoyed a night without kids in a charming room with a wood fire place. It was cozy and romantic and everything we wanted it to be.

My wife and I have been going to the White Lace Inn for the occasional Getaway for the last 22 years. I would guess we have been there about 20 times. Our first stay was in the Washburn house, back when it had wood fireplaces, now converted to gas. Our favorite is the room 18 in the Hadley House with its expansive rooms, gas fireplaces, and whirlpool bathtub. There are also more cost-effective rooms available in the Main house and the Garden house. The rooms themselves are designed and furnished in Victorian era and as the name of the inn suggests, there is at least one, if not multiple "lace" features to every room we have stayed in or seen, and we have seen every room in the last 2+ decades. You can expect very clean rooms and a very quick and thorough cleaning staff for your multiple day stays. The service has always been top notch and Dennis, the owner along with his wife, is quite often there and is extremely knowledgeable and pleasant to talk to. I think the value for the carefree and relaxing experience of the White Lace inn is outstanding, and the included home made breakfasts really shouldn't be missed. Have a special dietary restriction? I'm a vegetarian, and it isn't a problem at all. On our last stay, one of the guests had a gluten allergy as well that was catered to. Anyway, for my wife and I, it wouldn't matter how many stars they put in the ratings, the White Lace Inn has always been first class. I hope this review is helpful.

Beautiful and relaxing environment! Our room was on the small side, but we spent most of our stay out and about. The breakfasts were amazing! The jacuzzi was great after spending the day outside.

My new wife and I took some tome to get away. I had been to the White Lace Inn before with my late wife, we greatly enjoyed it then and I see nothing has changed it's still a great place to stay. Everyone is treated like family. A most pleasant experience.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here to attend a Packer game. We LOVE this place and will never stay at a hotel for this trip again. The people are great and make you feel more than welcome. The breakfasts are amazying. The property is beautiful. The rooms are amazing and many different options to choose from. We will make this an annual stay. This B & B was like home in a different city with more amenities! Wonderful Victorian homes connected by a center garden. Fantastic location to downtown and many resturants. We will definitely stay at this B & B again~

A warm welcome greeted us as we arrived at our destination, The White Lace Inn. Everything about the inn was immaculately clean and very Victorian citsie without being over the top with clutter. There was more than adequate information available regarding dining for the evening and "what to do " in Door County Wisconsin. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were good , but not great. The coffee was delicious and so were the fresh cookies that were always available. I would definitely recommend the White Lace Inn to others.

I would definitely go back to stay at the White Lace Inn again. The room was beautiful and functional. I enjoyed the wood burning fireplace, we used the couch for watching a movie and the small table and chairs for our computers. Nice people and a nice town!

We have stayed at the White Lace Inn several times and it never disappoints! We love the proximity to town and the lovely church right accross the street. We will certainly be back!

The White Lace Inn is an outstanding B&B. We have stayed at this property on all of our visits to Door County, WI (6 times). The owner and staff do everything they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms -- clean, comfortable beds, lounge chairs, roomy, great TV, A/V systems -- make any visit enjoyable. Highly recommend.

The room was fabulous and comfortable. The people that worked here made your stay feel welcoming and warm.

I wasnt sure if I was going to like a B & B, we had never been to one before. I couldnt belive how friendly every one was that work there. Every one from Dennis(inn keeper) to the grounds keepers were oh so helpful. Any question you had they were there to lend a hand or directed you in the right area. The only problem I had was the bed was a little harder than I am use to, but the whole room made up for it, along with the breakfest. Thank you so much Dennis, we can wait to come back in the Summer season.

The room was clean, bed wasn't the most comfoirtable. The breakfasts were good, good coffee. Satisfactory.

Nice quaint place and room. Great breakfasts. Only complaint is that we could hear the other guests in their rooms - including people going to the bathroom, showering, talking, etc. Not loud, but could hear all of this.

Received a stay as a wedding gift and truly enjoyed ourselves. The White Lace Inn is very detail oriented and we wanted for nothing. The accomodations are outstanding! We have stayed at a handful of B&B's and for the price our room was rather small. But this is likely because it was in Door County and is touristy. Personally I didn't feel overly welcome like I had at other B&B's - didn't get a lot of small chat with the Inn Keepers. Location and Food was outstanding! Overall was a nice getaway.

This is a beautiful complex of four vintage homes converted to Inns that share a lovely common garden. It's walking distance to downtown Sturgeon Bay, but still very quiet. We enjoyed our stay very much and will be back again SOON! Our only complaint (if it's really a complaint) is we are early risers, and had to find coffee elsewhere prior to the main house being open. Certainly not the end of the world, and should not be taken as an issue. We were impressed at the cleanliness and comfort of the place, and we enjoyed the breakfasts! It's a busy place, so book early if you can!

We spent 2 days/1 night away in Door Country exploring the wineries and chose to stay at The White Lace Inn. We stayed in Room 11 "The Hideaway" and were very pleased with the room and more impressed that it had a wood burning fireplace ready with waiting with chopped wood for us. The owner was very pleasant and sociable during breakfast. Would recommend this bed and breakfast to others.

The service was excellent and everyone made us feel as if we were old friends stopping by for a chat. The breakfasts were delicioiusly "right sized" so you had extra room to have a second cup of the specially brewed coffee. Their cinimon hazelnut was to die for. We'd go back again, if only because downtown Sturgeon Bay is only a block away. Plus it is a great little downtown just to stroll around and enjoy. Great getaway!

We stayed at the White Lace Inn at the Hadley House. It was absolutely fantastic! The room was very cozy and beautifully decorated. We had our own porch that had two comfy chairs. It was wonderful to go out in the morning and enjoy our coffee. At this house there were 4 rooms which had a mini kitchen that we could all use. Coffee pot if you wanted coffee before breakfast and full size fridge and freezer to put our leftovers or bottles of wine in. That was just an added bonus. The hot tub was huge and the fireplace was wonderful. Overall this is one of our favorites. We will definitely be back if in the area.

Just recently I was married at the White Lace Inn. It was a wonderful experience. Eventhough it is fall, the grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Even my now husband was smitten with the White Lace. But the grounds were just the tip of the iceberg. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. Dennis was great and so was everyone else we met. The rooms were in traditional bed and breakfast style but we enjoyed that about it. They were clean and a good size for romance. Our only negative was we never got to get one of their fresh baked cookies because they were always gone. Must have been good. We will definitely stay there again. I think they will have us as visitors for awhile. Thanks White lace for making our day wonderful and for making us feel at home.

Had a wonderful stay at this lovely and quaint b & b. The food was excellent, the service outstanding, and the breakfast cook and general asst were so helpful. Laurel takes the cake in our book.

Room was very nice very clean and well kept up.For the price of the room an inroom mini fridge would have been a nice touch.we didnt stay for breakfest but it sure smelled good.We would surely like to come back again.

We stayed with another couple after the Packer Game in Green Bay and spent the next day in Door County. We were beyond impressed with their hospitality! We already plan to buy gift certificates for family to stay there.

The home was beautiful and the gardens relaxing and serene. This was my first visit to Door County and I was so pleased with the area and the friendliness of the people. Looking forward to going back.

The egg bakes were GREAT!! We did not like the Cherry Stuffed Toast. Our experience was great except for that.

Had a wonderful three days in September after Labor Day. We love, love our room and the amenities of the inn.

Our two night stay in the Garden House was much more than I expected. I'm not a big fan of B&B's but my wife and the website convinced me to make the reservation. The breakfasts were delicious, the gardens and pond were beautiful, the room was comfortable and cozy as we like them and the cats were friendly to the delight of my wife. Everything about our stay was lovely. Dennis had great restaurant recommendations our first night there. Our room was clean and beautiful. Loved everything about it. The 24/7 cookies in the lobby are awesome too!

Wonderful Anniversary trip - we were married here 20 years ago, stayed in the same suite as on our honeymoon! Beautiful memories, it was immaculate and has only improved with time.

My husband and I used White Lace Inn as our home-base for 3 days of tandem cycling in Door County. Room was great, staff incredibly knowledgeable, and friendly. Loved their community involvement. Only small complaint is no 24-hour coffee pot AND lack of protein choices at breakfast.

Was an okay B&B, but nothing spectacular. Would definitely try another B&B if we get back to Door County area again.

Beautiful homes (4) and common garden area with a waterfall feature. Our room was cozy, however the a/c squealed at 3 am, but it was cool enough to open the windows. Quiet area, comfortable bed, good water pressure (a bit hard), close to downtown area. Breakfast was not impressive, should have skipped it. They served a dish with tomato and peppers, which was a little cold, but I wasn't going to eat it. The mugs were turned down on the placemat which wasn't sanitary to me. The friendly server didn't offer another option when I am sure she noticed it was not going to be eaten, but I also didn't ask. They serve all four homes (approx 18 people), it would have been nice to have more options. If we were to stay again, we would skip breakfast for a discount. There are plenty of bakeries in Door Co which offer delicious muffins, rolls and full breakfast menus.

Incredible romantic B&B rooms. Stayed in #17....gorgeous! Would recommend it highly!!

We had a very relaxing 2 night stay. Everyone was very friendly, food was very good, beds were very comfortable, and the room was quiet. Price was a little above average but so was the stay. We could walk to the down town to the shops and restaurants. All in all a very relaxing stay which is just what we wanted.

The building was beautifully decorated, well maintained and very clean and peaceful. We stayed on a very hot day and appreciated the individually controlled air conditioning. A great place to relax, even the whirlpool was quieter than most places.

Stayed in the Garden House, Secret Garden (Room 10), overlooking the pond with goldfish and flowering lily pads. Grounds are very well maintained. Charming accommodations that took me back to yesteryear. Attention to detail is quite evident throughout the property and houses. Breakfast was sooo delicious in the charming parlor. Centrally located in a residential neighborhood with a short walk to downtown shops and dining, close to parks, near nightly entertainment, etc. Staff were very accommodating my entire visit. Will definitely consider staying here again.

We stayed in the Washburn A room and it was clean. Convienently located close to 3rd ave where dining is available. Nice quiet neighborhood.

Perfectly designed room, classic but with modern touches. Host Dennis and Bonnie were extremely kind, helpful and fixed two fantastic breakfasts during our stay. A definite referral to our friends who plan on an area visit to Door County as the best experience.

Stay at white lace inn was a bit pricy, but for first bed and breakfast experience it was worth it. maybe will return at some point, but not in near future. Spend most of the time out going to different locations in door county, only spend nights in the room. I still would recommend for romantic gateway.

We had a two night stay here and had a wonderful stay. The room was huge. We were in #16 in the Hadley House. It was well appointed and the bed was firm & comfortable. Dennis was very helpful with getting us information on a local park for biking and letting us know where to go to eat. He was attentive but not overly so. The grounds were gorgeous. The inn was beautiful, relaxing, the food was yummy and we had a great time!

The innkeeper made us immediately feel as if we were at home. The room was excellent and the bed extremely comfortable. The flower garden outside was beautiful. Downtown Sturgeon Bay is a short 2 blocks away for shopping and dining. I would stay here again!

We celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary at the White Lace Inn and everything was perfect. Our room was exceptional, the breakfasts were outstanding, and the owner was very accomodating. We were very impressed with the cleanliness, comfort, and beauty of the Inn and the grounds.

My husband and I stayed in the Hadley House, Suite 16. This was our frist visit to Door County. The room itself was a very comfortable two room area with a large bathroom and Jacuzzi. Exceptional clean, and well kept, but the living room area had a "musty oder". We stayed there 3 nights. The breaksfast's were excellent and prepared by a one of the staff (Laurel). She was very friendly and cordial. The only drawback was when we arrived on our first night, as with most B&B Owners, they welcome you and are pleased to greet you at the door. We unfortunately felt that we were more of an intrusion than a welcome sight from the owner - Dennis. This is the first B&B that I have been at where I felt awkward staying at. Hospitality is lacking from the owner(s). The cook who prepared our meals was great, she really made us feel at home serving us.

Great breakfast. Grounds are beautiful. We stayed on a Thursday night when they offer music and beer in the parlor. Very enjoyable evening.

We had a wonderful time at White Lace Inn! The smell of the lilacs hit your nose as soon as we got out of the car to check in, guess we hit the perfect time! The room was bigger than the pic online, so we were quite surprised! The bed was kinda hard but we did sleep very well. We did not eat our breakfast there because my husband likes his eggs and bacon etc. for breakfast so we found a cute little diner 2blocks away, We will definately be back to pamper ourselves again!

Our stay started out well enough, but in the end we were disappointed. First, the good parts. The setting is beautiful, with several converted Victorian houses and beautiful gardens. Breakfast was wonderful, as was the service and staff. Being animal lovers, we particularly enjoyed the very friendly cats that roamed the grounds and the common area of the main house. Of course if your allergic to cats, this could be a problem. Unfortunately, our stay was marred by one minor, and one major issue. First, the TV did not work. This wasn't a major issue, since we weren't there to watch TV; but it would have been nice to be able to catch the weather forecast in the morning, etc. Much more importantly, the bed was extremely firm. Both my wife and I were stiff and sore after trying to sleep on what felt more like sleeping directly on the hardwood floors. I eventually ended up curled up on the love seat in the room. We did not feel our experience was worth the cost, and unfortunately, we will not be staying at this establishment again.

This was our second stay at the White Lace Inn. It is lovely, cozy, quiet with beautiful gardens. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will come back again in the future

We ventured to Door County for the first time to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The stay at White Lace Inn helped to set the stage for a time of R&R.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the White Lace Inn on a Sunday night. The innkeepers were very friendly and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and attractions in the area. Breakfast was delicious!

Everything was very nice, we have been there multiple times, always a joy. Garden has been expanded and improved with a water pond, everything very nice.

We've never been disappointed. This is our 7th or 8th stay over the past 15 years, and we look forward to the next time!

While most B&Bs that we looked into required a 2 night stay for the weekends, The White Lace Inn was alittle more flexible - actually put the guests' needs ahead of their own. The proprietors were incredibly nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated in period decor. We did not stay in the main house, as The White Lace Inn is actually several different houses and not just the one you generally see in the ads, but all are very nice and give you quite a selection of accomodations. The breakfast is served in the main house, which is literally just a short walk from whichever house you stay in, and is not just delicious, but plentiful, a nice variety in courses and the seating is well presented. We would, and most probably will, stay again when in the area. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful time. Large, clean room appointed with beautiful furniture. Attention was paid to every detail. Great, homemade breakfasts.

This was our second visit to this bed and breakfast and we loved it!

Everything about the White Lace Inn was fantastic! We loved the incredible room we stayed in with all the windows and a king-size whirlpool!!! Our Innkeeper was very informative and helpful. We arrived late and didn't know where to eat. He not only told of us a great restaurant, but called to make sure how late they would remain open. He goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome! We will definitely visit White Lace again!

This is the fourth visit my wife and I have made to the "White Lace Inn". On each visit, we stayed in a different room, and each room held its own unique charm. On this visit, we stayed in "Washburn House C". The room was extremely clean and beautifully decorated. On point which impressed me particularly, was the clever use of space which not only makes each room unique, but also provides for the best use of the space which is available. The breakfasts are wonderful; the innkeeper most amiable; and the staff very helpful. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

Location was perfect. Able to walk to downtown Sturgeon Bay. Will be back again.

The above areas were overall average. However the night we stayed there, there was a guy who was engaging in a heated conversation with other guests which made it very incomfortable to in the common areas. This person also began playing the piano around 7:30pm and was still playing after 9pm. This was disruptful and inappropriate.

I was part of an 8 person party that stayed here and we loved it! The rooms were lovely, the staff incredibly helpful, and the overall feel of the inn couldn't be beat!! Fresh cookies everyday, candies and coffee around the clock and fireplaces in each room- what's not to love!?!

Room was very small with no closet or drawer space, but otherwise very nice and comfortable. The wirlpool tub was great and the breakfast was wonderful. I think they have larger rooms but since this was for just one night it was adequate. A really charming home and worth a visit.

My wife and I have come to the White Lace Inn almost every year since our marriage in 1995. We've stayed in several of the rooms in the Garden House and my wife especially loves the place. She's very much into Victorian style houses. She loves the area so much she wants to move to Sturgeon Bay! Dennis and Bonnie at the White Lace have been unfailingly accommodating and professional and their Inn is simply divine. We've stayed there a dozen times and we can hardly wait to go back. From the moment I walked in the door to the moment I checked out, this experience was fabulous and without fault. The room was clean, well decorated, and exactly as depicted on the website. The breakfast was simply amazing! The Innkeepers also gave excellent suggestions on things to do and places to visit nearby. They were warm, welcoming, respectful, and all over charming! I will DEFINITELY be referring friends here as well as making plans to stay again.

The room looked a lot nicer online. It was very dusty and cold. The fireplace did not work. When I called the front desk, no one came to offer help. They had me "jiggle the wires" to get it going. It was barely more than a pilot light. We opted not to eat breakfast there since it seemed very dusty & musty. Very pricey for what we got. I wouldn't recommend it.

Exactly what my wife and I needed for our weekend away. Very comfortable and relaxing. Had the feeling of home. It was a very special weekend; finding out we are going to be parents for the first time too! Plan on returning again!

Most romantic inn we have been to! We have made this our anniversary "go-to" place. Can't wait for the next time!

We were also amused by their friendly cat, Mister, who escorted us to the front door and then later to our room and then silently disappeared as though his work was done. :) Thank you for a lovely weekend. :)

I went with my girlfriend for an after christmas get away and was VERY glad we had found the White Lace Inn. The room was quite comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was served quickly and was always delicious. There was live music one night and we received reliable information about what to do and where. We will definitely go there again!

We recently took a brief but very much needed vacation at the White Lace Inn, and every aspect of it was wonderful, down to the pillows I liked so much that I'm considering ordering some for home. Dennis was fantastic, full of knowledge about the town, even making phone calls to find a place for us to go to dinner when we showed up at 8pm (on a Monday in the middle of winter). We will definitely go back (hopefully for a longer stay)

Great place for a weekend getaway! The hosts are friendly and easygoing, he prices are reasonable, the rooms are charming, and the food is delicious!

Our one night stay at this Inn was great. Dennis always makes sure you are taken care of. I love the homey feeling when you walk in the door of the main house. This was a nice escape from the busyness of the Christmas season. We will be back.

This historic Bed and Breakfast located in Sturgeon Bay, WI is comprised of several amazing buildings of equal historic quality. All are wonderfully maintained and decorated with period antique furnishings that are both pleasing to the eye and weary traveler. Homemade breakfast is truly a treat, as the owner typically joins in small talk with the guests and also offers dining options and suggestions. Highly recommended for historic value, location, comfort and price.

This Inn is a great location in the Door to start your adventure no matter what season. And if you are looking for complete privacy or a bit of chit chat in the main house it's the perfect blend for anyones tastes. Speaking of that you will not go hungry after indulging on their yummy breaakfast that changes daily. We have been coming here for over 22 years so for us it's like coming home with every stay...the rooms are so cozy & clean. We love the White Lace Inn & you will too:)! John & Susan

It was stated there were plenty of places to eat within walking distance during off season, but really there wasn't many at all unless you want to eat in a bar. The room was nice but we had on air conditioning and windows open all night and the room temperature was still mid to upper 70s (very warm, hard to get comfortable). Also the tv placement in this room with the bed makes it difficult to find a spot to get cozy and watch anything. Owners very nice though.

Everything "met our expectations" because we've experienced the superior ambience and gracious service for the past ten years and plan on another ten. Thank you, Dennis!

The only problem we had with the stay at the White Lace Inn is the quality of the mattress in the bed...it was very poor and both woke up the next day with a backache.

I stayed in the main house. The room was large and the bed was extremely comfortable. The whirlpool bath was particularly pleasant after a long day out at the Packers game. Would definitely recommend staying here.

even in the offseason, it is a nice area, lots to do, wineries, shops to stroll through, the maritime museum, etc.... and the inn is clean, friendly staff, quiet, a nice get away.

My husband and I have visited the White Lace Inn periodically over the last 25 plus years. And each time we go we fall in love with the Inn and each other. What a perfect romantic getaway! Especially in the Autumn or Winter to enjoy the crackling of a fire in our rooms fireplace!! And a warm cheery breakfast each morning in the main house. We will be returning for another 25 plus years!!

We were there in late October for an anniversary weekend. The rooms were larger than expected and were very cozy and private. The staff was friendly and offered excellent directions to various places. They had maps and menus available for local and anywhere you could think of in door county. Close to wineries. We had fun!

Our stay was okay. The room was fantastic, but we found ourselves going out for breakfast due to the lack of variety on the menu.

It was wonderful, exactly the romantic weekend we imagined. We much prefer the Bed and Breakfast experience when away from home, and White Lace Inn is our favorite place to stay. Service is friendly and accommodating, rooms are romantic and very clean, great breakfast, too.

My wife and I have stayed at the White Lace Inn numerous times at various times of the year and the accomodations and staff always exceed our expectations. Each room is unique, well appointed and comfortable and clean.

Our stay at the White Lace Inn was lovely, the innkeepers were extremely nice and the breakfast was amazingly good! The room (#6) was very clean and cosy; the only thing is that the pipes were pretty noisy so bring your earplugs and you'll be fine. I would definitely stay there again!

My husband and I stayed here recently and upon our arrival learned our room was not ready. We arrived after the time alloted to check in. The lady there greeted us and was very pleasant and was accommodating. Our room was nice, little smaller than I expected, but clean and warm. The house was lovely, but limited. Breakfast was wonderful though. I would recommend this B&B.

We stayed in the Hadley House Suite 17 and the room was Beautiful. Everything about our stay was Outstanding! This was our second stay at the White Lace Inn and we plan on coming back again.

This was our first B&B experience, and will do it again. White Lace has a really nice staff, great food, and big tubs. We were very happy that we got our own bathroom. We had a really nice time in the area. Winery's and restaurants within walking distance. We will be back.

Our stay was wonderful. If you want a romantic evening or two go to the White Lace Inn. We had a fire place with a large whirlpool tub and the bed had a canopy, it was so so nice. The owner was really nice, I really don't have anything bad to say. I would definitely go back!

It was excellent. This was our third time at White Lace Inn. Everyone and everything was terrific including the town of Sturgeon Bay. Unique things to see. This time we took in a small glass factory that makes jewelry, vases etc. The owner took us through the factory showing us the kiln and the process. If you haven't tried the White Lace Inn, make it a must in the future.

We were married in the gazebo and it was perfect. The gardens and the room was beautfull. The experience left us longing to return.

My sister wanted a romantic place close to Milwaukee to get married. It was a beautiful September day. The gazebo and gardens were the perfect setting. The minister gave a beautiful, meaningful 30-minute service.

Had the best of service with outstanding food. Staff was great, felt like I was at home. Would recommend to everyone going to Sturgeon Bay.

We normally shy away from B&Bs but decided to give The White Lace Inn a try and we were ecstatic about our stay........super Victorian room, great breakfasts, Thursday night entertainment with free beer, soft drinks, tea, coffee and home made cookies. Private bathrooms for each room....beautiful setting with babbling brook loaded with fish....just a great getaway we will surely look forward to again.

We enjoyed our stay at the White Lace Inn. The only complaint I have is that we found several cobwebs in our room. I loved the grounds and the homemade scones were fabulous. The garden was beautiful and my friend and I took advantage of them as our husbands went fishing and we were able to enjoy the grounds.

We stayed in the Hadley house, suite 19. I felt so comfortable and at home at this place. The setting is peaceful, the gardens are gorgeous and the accomodations were amazing. Our only mistake was staying for only 1 night. Next time it will be longer!!

My wife and I found the White Lace Inn through an ad in a chicago newspaper years ago. We have enjoyed many trips there since. The Inn has become the standard we judge all others and very few measure up.

The Inn is beautiful with detailed woodwork and rooms with elegant decor. Beautiful gardens on walkways in backyard. We stayed three nights. A couple misses with no coffee prior to 8:00 am breakfast on the first morning, the cookies were oreos and dry oatmeal/choc chip. 2 of the 3 breakfast were real good, didn't care for the warm fruit soup which was served 2 mornings. It was a good value, but not exceptional.

This was my second visit to the inn, and we enjoyed the visit. The room was comfortable and clean, and breakfast was delicious. One thing B&B's could learn is to provide reading lights on both sides of the bed and more horizontal space to put cosmetic bags and dopp kits in the bathroom. The innkeepers were very nice, and the location is great for visiting other areas of Door County.

Was wonderfully surprised with the quality and comfort of the White Lace Inn. We stayed in the Washburn house, and was impressed with the beautiful gardens, wonderful decorations and the very tasteful breakfast and cookies. The staff was very pleasant and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.
