Everything was just right, friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, the breakfasts both days were wonderful. Will definitely go back and recommend to all traveling to Door County.

The room and the hospitality were excellent! Breakfast was fantastic. I would recommend the White Lace Inn to anybody visiting Door County. Makes a perfect spot as your home base when exploring the area.

lovely victorian buildings, meticulously maintained & full of beautiful antiques. We found it best to stay in Sturgeon Bay (lots to do & see, good restaurants) and travel up and down the county daily. Good roads; scenic. Staff & owner Dennis very friendly and helpful with suggestions of where to go, what to see & do. We would love to stay at Christmastime; the pictures looked great! Randy & Margaret

We were so impressed with the cleanliness of the spacious comfortable room. Location is great. Walking to dinner in Sturgeon Bay and Catholic church across the street was perfect. Our breakfast was delicious. We will definitely visit again. Hank and Sharon

Room and surrounding area was very nice. The inn keeper was friendly. Fireplace was ready to go! Thursday night they had an acoustic guitar music night with free beer! More than one option for breakfast would be nice.

We keep coming back and will continue to do so.

The White Lace Inn was a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. The room is quiet and nicely decorated. The grounds are beautiful with places to sit to enjoy the park like setting. While requested ahead of time, they were able to accommodate a few dietary requests. We only stayed one night but wish we could have stayed longer.

We stayed at While Lace in 16 years ago for our honeymoon and had a WONDERFUL time. For an anniversary trip, we returned and everything was just as wonderful as we remembered. We felt welcomed and treated like family. Recommendations for local attractions were spot-on and breakfast - OH Breakfast!!! Just Yummy. We will never stay anywhere else while in the area. This B&B is beautiful and very charming. Inn hosts were awesome and friendly. However, their breakfasts could use improvement. We were there for two breakfasts and the french toast and egg bakes were both under cooked. Also, the portion sizes were very small without much variety.

We enjoyed our weekend stay. Food was excellent, service very friendly, and our room delightful. Love it here and can't wait to go back.

Very lovely place; beautiful garden. The lack of a closet was an issue, though--as was the absence of a full-length mirror. Still, we enjoyed our brief stay. The proprietor was very friendly and helpful. Best part of all: the cat, "Mister"-- who seems very happy hanging around outdoors, so folks with allergies shouldn't worry.
4.4 on June 27, 2014
We spent 2 nights at this lovely establishment. The property and the rooms are immaculate and well-cared for; the owners are fantastic and had lots of tips on good attractions, stores, and dining in the area. The breakfast was all right. The French toast on day 1 was excellent, but the casserole I was served on Day 2 was undercooked. Everyone is served the same dish; what they make that morning is what you get I wasn't expecting a buffet, but it would have been nice to have had options.

excellent bed & breakfast; great room; will come back again
5 on June 22, 2014
The White Lace Inn definitely exceeded our expectations and was everything we would want in a Bed & Breakfast. The Innkeeper, Dennis, was very friendly and personable (we didn't get a chance to meet Bonnie but I'm sure she is too!) Our room was cozy and charming and the breakfast was delicious!! And I loved the personal service we got at each of our tables. I've been to one other Bed & Breakfast where the breakfast was buffet style. I definitely prefer the White Lace Inn's style :-) It was cozy enough to feel comfortable but didn't feel weird like you were in someone else's house. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who plans to stay in Door County!

We received a gift cert for the White Lace Inn so decided to stay the weekend and spend some time touring Door County. What a nice stay! Dennis was a great host and the breakfasts were delicious!
4.6 on June 18, 2014
The inn keepers were very knowledgeable and accommodating to our special needs. The room was very clean and the breakfast was delicious. My husband and I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the commons area where breakfast was served. The only downside was the firmness of the bed. I've never slept on a bed so hard in my life, but that is the risk you take when you spend the night away from home. Other than the bed, it was a very enjoyable stay.

Second time we've stayed there. It was the second of many more to come.

We had a fantastic weekend at the White Lace Inn. We stayed in the Washburn House, which was a few houses down from the main house. The gardens in between the houses were very nice, and we spent some time one afternoon just sitting outside and drinking wine. A few friendly cats roamed the yard, and one of them led us inside the main house each time we went up the stairs, which was hilarious. The property was very nicely located, and we walked to get dinner and drinks at some great local places only two blocks away. The room itself was larger than expected, and the huge whirlpool tub was a perfect way to unwind (just make sure you give yourself plenty of time to fill the tub up because the water was a little slow coming out of the faucet). My only complaint is that housekeeping didn't make our bed or clean up the room at all; they just stopped by while we were still in the room and gave us new soap. The breakfasts were delicious - as good as I've had in any restaurant, and maybe even better. I would definitely stay here again if we go back to Sturgeon Bay; it was a really nice place and we had a wonderful time.
4.2 on June 09, 2014
We traveled to Sturgeon Bay to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We loved our stay at the Inn. The food was great, especially the cherry stuffed french toast. Loved the printed recipes that Dennis has available. The menus of local restaurants were most helpful when planning our evening meal. Also really enjoyed the acoustic guitar music on Thursday night. Would love to return in the fall for another stay. The gardens out back are a lovely place to relax and read a book. The Inn is within walking distance to many lovely shops downtown.

Our 24th (!) stay. We keep coming back because we enjoy the pampering, the peace and serenity, and the delicious breakfast served in the morning. The hosts know the Door Peninsula and are more than happy to share experiences and make recommendations. If you want a peaceful stay, this is the place!

My wife and I were very surprised with the Victorian style decor with a modern touch, we both had a wonderful time. The only issue we had was the bed, it was a little more firm than my back could deal with. Other than that I will recommend The White Lace Inn to everyone.

My wife and I have stayed at the Whitelace Inn several times. The owner and Inn keeper, Dennis as always friendly and easy to talk to. The rooms are comfortable and relaxing and the breakfast is always great. Sturgeon Bay has become a great place to stay. Lots to do and several really good restaurants.

My husband & I thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at the White Lace Inn. We chose room 11 because of the fireplace. It was wonderful to enjoy a wood fire after exploring outside in the cold spring wind. The Inn is located just a couple blocks from the Historic district. Breakfast was fantastic! This was my first time to eat Door county cherry french toast! We hope to return any season since Door county is great any time of the year.

Absolutely loved our suite, which had both a gas fireplace and whirlpool, perfect for this time of year. It was also very quiet, even though there were other guests. Convenient location and breakfasts were tasty. Only down side was that we didn't feel 'welcome' by the inn keeper, especially since it was our first stay at a BandB in Door County. In fact it felt as if we were bothering him if we had questions, etc. Even though thousands of guests have probably stayed here, it would still do well for repeat business if each were treated as if they were a new visitor.

Dennis was great. He made us feel very welcomed. The breakfast was delicious. The only issue was our bed posts were wobbly and caused noise with each movement.

We stayed in the Secret Garden room which is dark, depressing and dreary. Don't let that photo fool you. The canopy top was also dusty and in need of a good washing. When I first called to book our reservation, I informed the innkeeper, Dennis, that I need a non-dairy breakfast. Instead of making a note of it, he said, "Remind me when you arrive." Upon arrival, the cook showed us to our room. I told her about my dietary restriction. That night, my husband found Dennis, and again told him that I need a non-dairy breakfast. Dennis said, "Remind me in the morning." It was very irritating. We felt like he was just blowing us off. The next morning, Dennis was nowhere in sight and the cook served me a dairy breakfast !! Breakfast was served in saucers, so there was very little food for all the guests. We will not stay in this place again and we would not recommend it either.

Stayed at the White Lace Inn on recommendation of friend. We found it warm, cozy and just what we were looking for. The acoustic music combo in the "parlor" on Saturday night was wonderful - not to mention the beer in the cooler! Breakfast was wonderful. We will pass the word along!

Spent 1 night in the Hadley House Suite #19. Biggest and best B&B room ever 24x30. Great interior decor of the room and the king bed & king jacuzzi were very comfortable and relaxing. The steps up to the 2nd floor location were twisting but manageable with hand railings on both sides (rehabing from recent knee surgery). Fireplace was needed as it was a cold winter's night. Dinner at the Glidden Inn (20min drive) was great too. Breakfast served in the main house was worth the walk in the morning! We will make this an annual pilgrimage.

We stayed at the White Lace Inn for our 10th Anniversary. It was very nice. Bonnie was very hospitable, Dennis was nice too, but we only saw him briefly on Sunday. The room was a little smaller that I thought it would be from the pictures on line, but it was plenty for just two people. The homemade cookies and the breakfast were outstanding!! They even had live entertainment Saturday night in the parlor. That was a nice treat!! The music was wonderful and it was a nice relaxing evening.
5 on March 05, 2014
We had a wonderful time. One of the cleanest, nicest bed and breakfast I've ever stayed in. Old fashion charm with modern updates blended well. Job well done Bonnie and Dennis!

Spent a relaxing weekend cross-country skiing and just hanging out. Breakfast was awesome and we didn't need to eat until dinner. Went up to the main house on Saturday evening with a bottle of wine and our Scrabble game to enjoy some folk music by a couple of locals. A great trip just to relax. even if the weather was cold.

Every time we stay at the inn, we choose a different room. All of them are lovely and have their own character. Just as importantly, we are welcomed and treated like friends. Even a one night stay is hugely relaxing (especially if you choose a room with a whirlpool tub). Cap it off with a delicious breakfast in the main house's gorgeous sitting room and you have a recipe for a wonderful stay.

I have been to White Lace Inn three times and am sending my parents there in a few months. The rooms are so comfortable (my favorites are in Hadley House). The breakfasts are so delicious and Bonnie shares all her recipes so you can re-create your get-away at home! While you are there, be sure to look up the Door County Trolley (http://www.doorcountytrolley.com) to go to a fish boil and wineries.

We returned once again to the White Lace Inn to enjoy a weekend together to relax and enjoy each others company. The room was beautiful, the intimacy was enhanced by the materials and colors. Dennis was knowable of the area, he was able help us find anything we needed from flowers and dinner to where to go for a couples message, both before and during out stay. A visit to the Dancing Bear topped our weekend. We will back in the future to enjoy this wonderful place we've been coming to for 30 years.

The breakfast was very good. The service was wonderful! Everyone was so nice and very pleasant to talk to. They checked on us to see if there was anything else we needed. We really enjoyed our stay and plan on coming back there to stay there again!

4.2 on November 20, 2013
The room was amazing, clean and quiet. The small town was a great little getaway spot. We had live music sat night that was unbelievable and that made the whole trip over the top. Service was ok. The owner wasnt super friendly, and the breakfast in the morning was nothing too exciting. We are used to having a very friendly host that talks with us for some time. They were very nice, just not overly talkative. That can be good or bad, depending on what you are looking for.
5 on November 19, 2013
Perfect balance of friendliness and "leave-us-be"ness" lol! I appreciate a friendly atmosphere, but not too much. Dennis & Bonnie have been doing this for years and they have it down. Just the right amount of attention & that's not easy to do, think a lot of it comes with experience. The other guests were very pleasant, while not something an innkeeper can really predict or control, perhaps it's due to a quality, well established place attracting repeat customers & like minded new ones. Very relaxing place to be, it's our #1 choice in Door County, hands down.
3.2 on November 17, 2013
We had a room in the Garden House overlooking the garden with a door to the balcony which we left open a little and we could hear the bubbling water in the pond all night. The next day we went to Whitefish Dunes State Park and were amazed at the views! Lake Michigan looked like the Pacific coast with crashing waves on a rocky shore, and also on the beach area. We drove to the end of the Door County peninsula at Northport Pier, and stopped at Peninsula State Park on the way back. The autumn leaves were at their peak, making for some amazing photo ops!

My fiancé and I were able to finagle a spur of the moment vacation to a near by (Illinois) location. I wanted some place cute and quiet and breakfast ready so there is no worries about getting the day started and using the rest of our short little time wisely. Denis, the Inn keeper, since the 80s I learned, was very soft spoken and friendly and makes a wonderful egg bake! Which I then had to learn to make one as good for my future husband. The town of Sturgeon Bay is very quiet when we went, off season (October 29-31) which was great for us. We checked out the local museum which was very enriching and some shopping down town and next year we plan to make our way back to go to and up in the light houses surrounding the area. I highly reccomend this bed and breakfast to anyone. The rooms were cozy and warm and they had many different set ups. If you like wood burning fireplaces then check out the garden house. Thank you Dennis and Bonnie! You have made your place a lovely little place to stay. We'll be back! Angel and Scott

We received a gift certificate for our wedding in 2012 for The White Lace Inn. Having never stayed at a bed and breakfast, we weren't sure what to expect. What a pleasant surprise. Door County is beautiful! We stayed at the inn in late March of 2013 during the non-busy time of the year. It was chilly and fresh, but well worth the time. We will definitely be back. Dennis and his staff are wonderful hosts. The breakfasts are delicious and nutritious. The room was great!

Wonderful room with gas fireplace. The bed was wonderful--it was extremely comfortable and the pillows were great too. The yard looked nice but it was rainy during our stay, so I didn't really get to take a close look. The breakfast was good but the portion size is a little on the small size.

Our stay here was wonderful! It was our first trip to Door County, and I am so happy we were able to stay at the White Lace Inn! We were lucky to have a luxury room in the Main House, so breakfast and entertainment were only steps away. We also really appreciated having an en suite bathroom. The location of the Inn is also wonderful. It is just a couple blocks from downtown, and it was so nice to be able to walk to shops and dinner. We would certainly return here for a future visit!

Had been there several times in the last 20 years but not recently. Reservations were quick and we rely on the room views to know what to expect. Breakfast was great. Rooms help you feel like you're in another world. It was after the tourist rush and we found a great restaurant in town without the crowds.

We've stayed here many times in the past, and we are glad we returned again. The accomodations were top notch. The only negative is the breakfast. Why do B&Bs feel the need to prepare unusual food? How about something simple, like scrambled eggs and bacon?

The room we stayed in was very large and roomy-beautifully decorated with hot tub and fireplace. There was a little kitchen on the main floor of the house which was nice to store produce, etc that we bought on our travels of Door county. The room was expensive and we would have never stayed if we didn't have a gift certificate. The one problem was the house we stayed in was not the main house so we had to walk to breakfast in the morning which was a 1/2 block away and then the service was mediocre at best. The food was good but not great. Also, when I asked to use a restroom in the main house(during breakfast) I was told there were none and I would have to use the one in my room(1/2 block away). I thought for the price of the room we should have had breakfast brought to our room in the morning. I would defiantly not stay here in the winter!!

This beautiful setting in downtown Sturgeon Bay provides a classic B&B experience. We stayed in the Hadley House room A and it was beautifully decorated with antique furniture and a comfy bed (although so high you may need the steps to get into it). We enjoyed the gas fireplace, whirlpool tube and luxurious towels and bedding. The TV is tiny and can only be seen from the bed. The main house is where breakfast is served so only access to morning coffee is to go to the main house. Breakfast was nice, but not outstanding and we were seated at small tables so less interaction with other guests which I missed. Overall lovely and classic antique B&B offering excellent modern comfort and amenities.

Dennis was a wonderful host. Ken graciously gave us a tour of the empty rooms before we left so we could have more information when we stay here the next time. We stayed in Suite 19. Beautiful plantation bed, nice upper level balcony to sit out on, the grounds were lovely and the gas fireplace really warmed us up on the cool nights we stayed in September. We would love to stay again next Spring. The breakfast was just perfect as well.

We were very pleased with our stay at White Lace Inn. The house was beautifully renovated and the room was very relaxing and spacious. The breakfast was delicious, I had never had stuffed French toast before and really enjoyed it.
5 on September 10, 2013
We stayed in the garden room, very comfortable. we found the bed was comfortable but high off the floor. I mentioned it to our host and within 10 minutes we had a bed stool brought over. Thank you! The french toast for breakfast were so light and fluffy, best we had ever had. Beautiful and comfortable common spaces.

Our room was confortable and the sound of the water running in the pond outside was wonderful and relaxing. We really enjoyed having a fire, thank you for laying it out.

This was our (myself and my husband) first stay at a B&B and we were pleased. We stayed 3 nights in Room #3 English Lavender in the Main house. I believe it is the smallest room, but it was still pretty comfortable and has a double whirlpool in the bathroom. The bed was a double I think and we are used to a queen- but it was ok! The innkeepers and staff are great- nice and willing to give suggestions for places to dine. The Inn is very clean and in a good location for Door County- at the southern end. The breakfasts were good, but not amazing-egg/hashbrown+veggie casserole, egg/hashbrown+bacon casserole, and cherry "french toast" with sides of fruit or yogurt and bread or muffin. Thy always have homemade cookies to grab during the day and beverages as well. They had entertainment 2 night of the weekend- local singers which was kind of a cool option after dinner out. They have free WiFi. But no fridges or DVD players in our room. Door County is a wonderful place to visit and the White Lace Inn was a nice place to spend a relaxing getaway.

Dennis was wonderful at making us feel right at home. Loved the lemonade!
4.8 on September 01, 2013
One of our favorite places to stay. Wish they would not have added whirlpool tubs to most of the rooms, it takes away from the Victorian feel of the Inn and takes space from the overall room size. Who has time for a whirlpool when there is so much to see and do in Door County. A wonderful couple run this Inn and serve a great breakfast. I can't wait to come back.
4.6 on September 01, 2013
Cozy place to stay, though our room was rather small and the bed a bit narrow. However, breakfast is outstandingly good and obviously homemade, which is a pleasant surprise as compared to the average continental breakfast available at most places. Location could not be better and is quiet. The hosts are unobtrusive but always available and very friendly and helpful. Worth recommending.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for his birthday weekend. The breakfasts were small but delicious. The grounds were well kept, clean, quiet, and only a short walk from the quaint downtown Sturgeon Bay area.

For the breakfast, we came in once (on my B-day) and it was packed/no room to sit, so we left and went elsewhere. I can't say whether the breakfast was good, but the room, courtyard, etc. were well taken care of. I got engaged there and had a great day. Very very quiet/peaceful. Will go back.

This was our second stay at the White Lace Inn. It is always a great place to stay in a good location to explore all of Door County. We stayed in a smaller room than the last time we stayed here, but it was cozy. This inn is very cute and provides good access to restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Overall, we would recommend this to anyone and look forward to our return trip.

Cannot say enough about our stay at White Lace Inn. Our room was big, yet cozy. Just the kind of place one would imagine in years past. The grounds were well taken care of and prompted one self to sit in either a gazebo or lawn chairs scattered through out, and enjoy the outdoors. Each day brought a new and different breakfast which were delicious of course, served by a lovely and friendly staff. This was our second stay here and would highly recommend it. Traveled a long way to get here from Florida. Worth it!!!!!!!!

We stayed 2 nights at White Lace Inn in July, 2013. The property is actually 5 homes that all connect through their common backyards. The homes and rooms are great: all are very nicely furnished, very clean, and superbly cared for. The grounds are fantastic: flowers, sitting areas, a little pond. Great parking. The food and service were superb also. We could not have been more pleased.

Loved everything about our stay. Will definitely return!
5 on July 27, 2013
We stayed here in the main house for our 10 year anniversary that was 20 years ago. For this trip we stayed in the Washburn House which is furthest from the main house but still only a minute or two walk. Breakfast has improved, 20 years ago it was a bran muffin which was good but that was the only item. This year it was blueberry stuffed french toast and the next morning a croissant with ham, egg, cheese and really good asparagus' kudo's to Raven. Check out the farmers marked down Michigan St. on Saturday. Dennis is the same and a great resource for information in the area. We will be going back maybe for a mid week in fall for the beautiful colors.

We stay at many B&B when we travel. White Lace Inn is by far one of the best we've found in the midwest. There is a lot to do in the surrounding area and coming back there after a long day was wonderful. The breakfast....10 Stars out of 5.

Located in Sturgeon Bay, the White Lace Inn is the perfect gateway to Door County while in walking distance to the beautiful downtown waterfront. Dennis could not have been more accommodating, The grounds and common areas are beautiful. Breakfast was outstanding both days we visited. I would recommend this location to travelers in the area.
3.6 on July 23, 2013
We really appreciated the fact that you could walk to the shops in Sturgeon Bay and drive to all the other Door County sites. The breakfasts were exceptional. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and would consider staying there again.
5 on July 23, 2013
Located on beautiful grounds, my room w/fireplace and cozy porch stocked w/wood kept me in comfort on chilly nites. The amazing staff took care of me while on my first adventure away from studies in four years. I found myself in a quiet setting to retreat from my routine, but walking distance to nearby shops, restaurants and venues in the middle of the friendly Sturgeon Bay community. While not a morning person, the staff offered me mid-day breakfast recipes that were amazing. I fell in love with their special blend coffee, and the comforts provided that made this a wonderful getaway something to share with anyone I know who wants to cross over the Steel Bridge, and time warp into Door Counties finest. The multi-tasking owner, Dennis, went above and beyond to welcome my late arrival, and when I accidentally cut my power cord to laptop he was quick to help me remedy with a computer repair that is still holding (yes, I had to bring it with me!). I am still missing the comfort of the awesome pillows that surrounded me on the comfortable bed I had to call home for the short week I spent there. My thanks to all who made my holiday perfect!
4.6 on July 21, 2013
Both the rooms and gardens were conducive to finding peace and enjoying the beauty all around. We especially appreciated the waterfall, which we could hear at night from our bedroom window. There was a chance to play the piano in the main house where we dined on scrumptious breakfasts with fellow guests. It was obvious that great care had been taken to create a blissful stay.

This is the best B&B I ever stayed at. Lovely rooms and wonderful, wonderful food! I love the entertainment at night. Highly recommend!
5 on July 19, 2013
My wife and I traveled from Maryland and stayed at the White Lace Inn for our anniversary. We could not have been more pleased. This place is like something out of a movie. We were greeted by the InnKeeper, who was very pleasant and helpful. "check in" was a breeze. We were lead to our room, which was not in the main house, through a lovely garden path. It was obvious to us at that early stage that a lot of effort was put into making this place special. Our room was the perfect mixture of circa 1880 and the present. the town of Sturgeon bay is out of time in its "homey" and small town appeal. Breakfast the next morning was equally as spectacular.....a must stay if you are in the area.
4.8 on July 17, 2013
The welcoming door of the White Lace Inn was the perfect end to our days in Door County! We were greeted by visitors on the porch and in the gardens, enjoying the beautiful flowers and sound of water flowing in the pond. The main house was cozy and historic, with beautiful woodwork and antique furniture pieces. Dennis and Bonnie made us feel right at home, and were very accommodating in every way. Our room was very sweet, roomy enough and comfortable. After our first breakfast, delicious and filling for our long day ahead, we looked forward to the next morning and were not disappointed! Everyone we met on staff were friendly, relaxed and very helpful. This was our first Bed and Breakfast experience, and now the bar has been set very high! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

You won't find anything better. The rooms are very clean & comfy. The food is FANTASTIC. One of the best B&B's we've stayed in.
5 on July 10, 2013
We've stayed here twice now--both times in the same room. It's a classy place with an excellent breakfast. It's within walking distance of the shopping area of Sturgeon Bay, and you can easily drive from there to other Door Country towns further north. We've also found it to be one of the least expensive B&Bs. A great get away for harried parents.

We were in Door County for the Song Writers Fest and couldn't have stayed in a better place! We were within walking distance of the event, not to mention, the great down town strip. Due to our miscommunication, we did not alert them to the fact we are vegetarians. They were able to accommodate us very nicely! We will be back!

This was our first time staying in a Bed and Breakfast and what a wonderful experience. The room we had was inviting and cozy. We enjoyed being able to sit on the pouch and read and found we were in walking distance of wonderful places to eat, shop and the Maritime Museum. Breakfast was a treat each morning! We look forward to a chance to return.
3.4 on June 10, 2013
Room was very nice, clean and soundproof. I rated the Dining below average, not just for the quality of food, but the fact that we stayed 4 nights and had the same breakfast sandwich twice and the other 2 days we had an eggbake that was very similar. I have only stayed at 4 B&B's and I would rate this one highest in room quality and the lowest in breakfast quality, food was good but not great. Would have rated the cleanliness higher but my wife brought her coffee cup back that she used from the previous day (so they didn't think she kept it) and he took the clean cups away and refilled her dirty cup, even though we explained to Dennis it was from the day before. Also if dogs & cats are not your thing.......they have a dog & cat that are at breakfast with you every morning. I would recommend this B&B to a friend, but give them the dog & cat heads up.

Lovely place to stay, will definitely stay again. Musicians showed up to jam on Thursday evening, which was the highlight of our stay. Since the weather didn't cooperate, it was nice to have a comfortable night in with the other guests. One small thing, I filled in the online form for requests that I was gluten free, but when I arrived nobody knew about this. They quickly remedied the situation with a lovely substitute breakfast, so my stay was wonderful and the food was delicious.

Our stay at the White Lace Inn was a memorable one. The breakfasts at White Lace Inn were delicious! We looked forward to them every morning. The whirlpool and fireplace were just what we needed (it was cold for late April) too. We enjoyed our time in Door County and at the Inn so much that we are contemplating another visit in the Fall.

White Lace Inn caught my eye while I searched for a short escape destination close to home. The house itself is gorgeous and I just absolutely love Victorian style buildings. We stayed in Room 4 in the Main House. It was pretty spacious and the amenities were nice. I was disappointed, however that the surround sound that was supposed to be included with the room (according to the website) was not hooked up. My boyfriend and I tried to see if we could hook it up ourselves but were unable to do so. It would have made our movie night a little more enjoyable. The owners were very nice and breakfast was delicious. I really enjoyed the homemade cookies in the cookie jar in the dining room. There was a dog roaming around the common rooms of the main house. He seemed friendly at first but he did snap at me while I was petting him at one point. Luckily he didn't actually bite me but I decided to steer clear of that dog after that. Overall I really enjoyed my stay at the White Lace Inn and definitely recommend it for people looking for a stay in a historic home for a very reasonable price. We would visit again.

All in all the stay was good, with 2 exceptions. The water was very hard, which did not make for an enjoyable shower. I wonder if they have a water softener system in place. Also, the cable TV reception was very bad for some channels, which does not make sense, I would think a call to the Cable Co. would fix that.

When I was much younger, I saw an ad for White Lace Inn at the back of a magazine, just white lace curtains blowing in the breeze, & decided then & there I would love to stay there for a vacation. Forty years later, while thinking of planning my first real vacation in 10 years, I came across White Lace Inn again & remembered my dream. I made the reservation &, last October, I finally made my dream vacation a reality. White Lace Inn has the most beautiful & beautifully cared for rooms which make you feel not like a guest, but family. The staff is friendly & provides all your needs. The food is delicious--breakfast in the sunny parlor every morning was a delight. A cup of coffee while relaxing on the spacious front porch watching the world go by starts the day off right. A sing-along with a talented local musical group & fellow guests livens up an evening. I felt like I had come home rather than gone on vacation & enjoyed every minute of it. The only disappointment was having to leave. I would highly recommend a stay at the White Lace Inn to make your dream vacation come true. Thank you, Dennis & Bonnie!

My husband and I have stayed numerous times at the White Lace Inn. We were even married there. The staff was so nice and went out of their way to accomodate us and be helpful. We had planned on getting married outside in the garden but the weather was not on our side. We were able to close off the fireplace room and use that, it was perfect. We highly recommend the White Lace Inn for a nice, relaxing getaway.

We chose room #3, because we like to create closeness when we are on vacation alone. This room was the perfect setting for that. Next time room # 2. We like being in the main house because everything is right there. The room rate was very affordable. We are a one income family. We look for the deals. Will be visiting again....:)

Very quiet and private, so accommodating to my needs!! The beautiful snow fall, and the Victorian feel. My own fire place in my room was warm and cozy too! Been going to White Lace Inn for 16 years, and will keep going back for relaxing getaways!!

We have stayed at the White Lace a number of times. It is one of favorite places to stay, and enjoy what Door County has to offer.

Lovely place. Breakfast was sweeter than I would normally like (cherry-stuffed french toast, bread, and yogurt) but still tasty. Would definitely return, very quaint and cozy.

Thank you to the wonderful staff at the White Lace for being so gracious! We actually feel bad for how we left the room as we actually were somewhat ill overnight. We apologize to the staff, and we hope we didn't wear out our welcome as we'd love to return!

Rooms could use a little updating, but overall REALLY nice people and great location and food!

Great winter getaway. Large whirlpool tub was nice way to come in from the cold.

This February, we again made our semi-annual (sometimes annual) trek to Sturgeon Bay and and The White Lace Inn. It is, and, I think, will always be our favorite! As usual, the stay and the room was a delight...and even though we were not able to get into Suite 16-our prefered room--we had a most enjoyable, restful and romantic time away! This is the one gift my husband can give me any time--and he does! Thanks again--we will be back, there is no doubt!

We stayed at White Lace Inn for a winter weekend get away. It was so relaxing and comfortable. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. We love sitting in the parlor to chat with the inn keeper Dennis. The breakfast is simply amazing and cookies in the afternoon are great. We will definitely return!

We did have to cancel our recent reservations because of family member got hurt. We have stayed at the White Lace in the past and other B&B, but there is something very special about the Whie Lace, I always walk into a room and everything seems to melt away and I am totally relaxed.

This was a great value for a midweek winter place to stay in Door County WI. It is a lovely property with a wonderful proprietor. Breakfast is individually prepared, what a treat. The room had a whirlpool tub! awesome. the only suggestion I would have for some one visiting there is to inquire about the size of the bed! The bed in my room was an antique 4 poster from the 19th century when people were evidently much shorter! It was fine for me but if you are 6' tall, it could be a bit cramped!

My husband and I received a gift certificate for a stay at the White Lace Inn and what a wonderful gift it was! We had not ever had the pleasure of staying in a Bed and Breakfast and were very impressed with our time at the White Lace Inn. The rooms were wonderfully decorated and very clean! We had two fireplaces to keep us cozy, comfortable furnishings, and a wonderful, large whirlpool tub! The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast delicious! We will definitely plan future trips to this wonderful Inn!

White lace Is a great great getaway. Great atmosphere, great breakfasts and great hosts! We will be back again. We have been going to this great Inn since1987!!

My wife and I drove up from Madison for a few days of relaxation. The rooms were beautiful and relaxing. The rooms have whirlpool bathtubs, usually close to a gas fireplace. It was amazing. The owners were very accommodating and served us an incredible breakfast every morning. We plan on staying there again in the future.

Innkeepers Dennis and Bonnie have a wonderful Inn. Very comfortable, clean, and delightfully decorated. Bedding is very cozy, fireplace adds to the ambiance, and the two-person whirlpool is spacious. Breakfasts were delicious. Can't wait to return!

The White Lace Inn is our favorite place to stay in Door County. We always feel welcomed, the rooms are always beautiful and comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious. I never hesitate to recommend it to friends and family.

We have stayed here at least 6 times and love it every time. We feel like we are at home now that we have visited so many times. We enjoy the owner, the rooms in the Hadley house are very spacious, breakfast is delicious, all of the rooms are decorated with taste, we like to hang out at the Main House to play games, make puzzles, eat cookies and drink cocoa. We highly recommend it!

Loved everything about our stay, with the exception of the house dog in the dining room during breakfast, the coffee was NOT good, and the towels were frayed, sheets worn, and pillows old. That doesn't mean we didn't have a terrific time. Everything else was wonderful.

As we were looking for a place to get married, we came across The White Lace Inn on the internet and fell in love with this romantic victorian setting. We knew that this was the perfect place for us to recite our vows and were exceedingly pleased with the entire experience. It was the perfect place for our intimate ceremony and we absolutely loved Reverend Sweet with his wonderful sense of humor and gentle kindness. We highly recommend that anyone who is looking to have a small, intimate, and romantic wedding ceremony make The White Lace Inn their top choice. Dennis and Bonnie were very warm and kind hosts and we greatly appreciated their hospitality - hats off to Bonnie for her wonderful cooking!!!

I first came to White Lace Inn with a friend in 1994 who was helping me have a get away after 7 1/2 years of not sleeping through the night from having 3 little girls in 4 years. White Lace Inn and Door County were so special, it never left my mind and heart. I have been back twice now with my husband and have stayed in the "Hideaway" which is like our own little "home away from home" with its own private staircase and wood burning fireplace. This year we came a few days after my daughter's wedding in June knowing we were going to want to get away and relax and we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and not able to go to Italy as planned. It was as usual, beautiful and quiet, so serene. We cherish the memories of it! Thank you Dennis for your hospitality and wonderful breakfast!

My husband and I stayed here 8 years ago, for our honeymoon, and haven't been back until now. Everything was still as lovely as it was back then. Very relaxing, quiet stay, with gracious innkeepers who went out of their way to help us feel welcome. Room was cozy and clean, breakfast was outstanding. Wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely try to make it back to stay sooner than 8 years this time!

My husband enjoyed a night without kids in a charming room with a wood fire place. It was cozy and romantic and everything we wanted it to be.

My wife and I have been going to the White Lace Inn for the occasional Getaway for the last 22 years. I would guess we have been there about 20 times. Our first stay was in the Washburn house, back when it had wood fireplaces, now converted to gas. Our favorite is the room 18 in the Hadley House with its expansive rooms, gas fireplaces, and whirlpool bathtub. There are also more cost-effective rooms available in the Main house and the Garden house. The rooms themselves are designed and furnished in Victorian era and as the name of the inn suggests, there is at least one, if not multiple "lace" features to every room we have stayed in or seen, and we have seen every room in the last 2+ decades. You can expect very clean rooms and a very quick and thorough cleaning staff for your multiple day stays. The service has always been top notch and Dennis, the owner along with his wife, is quite often there and is extremely knowledgeable and pleasant to talk to. I think the value for the carefree and relaxing experience of the White Lace inn is outstanding, and the included home made breakfasts really shouldn't be missed. Have a special dietary restriction? I'm a vegetarian, and it isn't a problem at all. On our last stay, one of the guests had a gluten allergy as well that was catered to. Anyway, for my wife and I, it wouldn't matter how many stars they put in the ratings, the White Lace Inn has always been first class. I hope this review is helpful.

The breakfasts are amazying. The property is beautiful. The rooms are amazing and many different options to choose from. We will make this an annual stay. Hopefully next time we can be here for more than just one night. Thanks!!!

A warm welcome greeted us as we arrived at our destination, The White Lace Inn. Everything about the inn was immaculately clean and very Victorian citsie without being over the top with clutter. There was more than adequate information available regarding dining for the evening and "what to do " in Door County Wisconsin. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were good , but not great. The coffee was delicious and so were the fresh cookies that were always available. I would definitely recommend the White Lace Inn to others.
5 on November 26, 2012
I would definitely go back to stay at the White Lace Inn again. The room was beautiful and functional. I enjoyed the wood burning fireplace, we used the couch for watching a movie and the small table and chairs for our computers. Nice people and a nice town!

We have stayed at the White Lace Inn several times and it never disappoints! We love the proximity to town and the lovely church right accross the street. We will certainly be back!

The White Lace Inn is an outstanding B&B. We have stayed at this property on all of our visits to Door County, WI (6 times). The owner and staff do everything they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms -- clean, comfortable beds, lounge chairs, roomy, great TV, A/V systems -- make any visit enjoyable. Highly recommend.

The room was fabulous and comfortable. The people that worked here made your stay feel welcoming and warm.

I wasnt sure if I was going to like a B & B, we had never been to one before. I couldnt belive how friendly every one was that work there. Every one from Dennis(inn keeper) to the grounds keepers were oh so helpful. Any question you had they were there to lend a hand or directed you in the right area. The only problem I had was the bed was a little harder than I am use to, but the whole room made up for it, along with the breakfest. Thank you so much Dennis, we can wait to come back in the Summer season.

Nice quaint place and room. Great breakfasts. Only complaint is that we could hear the other guests in their rooms - including people going to the bathroom, showering, talking, etc. Not loud, but could hear all of this.

Received a stay as a wedding gift and truly enjoyed ourselves. The White Lace Inn is very detail oriented and we wanted for nothing. The accomodations are outstanding! Their friendliness and knowledge of "things to do"was amazing! Definitely recommend this B & B! " Hadley Room 17"was the ultimate treat! Kelli and David :)

We have stayed at a handful of B&B's and for the price our room was rather small. But this is likely because it was in Door County and is touristy. Personally I didn't feel overly welcome like I had at other B&B's - didn't get a lot of small chat with the Inn Keepers. Location and Food was outstanding! Overall was a nice getaway.
5 on October 14, 2012
This is a beautiful complex of four vintage homes converted to Inns that share a lovely common garden. It's walking distance to downtown Sturgeon Bay, but still very quiet. We enjoyed our stay very much and will be back again SOON! Our only complaint (if it's really a complaint) is we are early risers, and had to find coffee elsewhere prior to the main house being open. Certainly not the end of the world, and should not be taken as an issue. We were impressed at the cleanliness and comfort of the place, and we enjoyed the breakfasts! It's a busy place, so book early if you can!

We spent 2 days/1 night away in Door Country exploring the wineries and chose to stay at The White Lace Inn. We stayed in Room 11 "The Hideaway" and were very pleased with the room and more impressed that it had a wood burning fireplace ready with waiting with chopped wood for us. The owner was very pleasant and sociable during breakfast. Would recommend this bed and breakfast to others.
4.2 on October 03, 2012
The service was excellent and everyone made us feel as if we were old friends stopping by for a chat. The breakfasts were delicioiusly "right sized" so you had extra room to have a second cup of the specially brewed coffee. Their cinimon hazelnut was to die for. We'd go back again, if only because downtown Sturgeon Bay is only a block away. Plus it is a great little downtown just to stroll around and enjoy. Great getaway!

We stayed at the White Lace Inn at the Hadley House. It was absolutely fantastic! The room was very cozy and beautifully decorated. We had our own porch that had two comfy chairs. It was wonderful to go out in the morning and enjoy our coffee. At this house there were 4 rooms which had a mini kitchen that we could all use. Coffee pot if you wanted coffee before breakfast and full size fridge and freezer to put our leftovers or bottles of wine in. That was just an added bonus. The hot tub was huge and the fireplace was wonderful. Overall this is one of our favorites. We will definitely be back if in the area.

Just recently I was married at the White Lace Inn. It was a wonderful experience. Eventhough it is fall, the grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Even my now husband was smitten with the White Lace. But the grounds were just the tip of the iceberg. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. Dennis was great and so was everyone else we met. The rooms were in traditional bed and breakfast style but we enjoyed that about it. They were clean and a good size for romance. Our only negative was we never got to get one of their fresh baked cookies because they were always gone. Must have been good. We will definitely stay there again. I think they will have us as visitors for awhile. Thanks White lace for making our day wonderful and for making us feel at home.

Our two night stay in the Garden House was much more than I expected. I'm not a big fan of B&B's but my wife and the website convinced me to make the reservation. The breakfasts were delicious, the gardens and pond were beautiful, the room was comfortable and cozy as we like them and the cats were friendly to the delight of my wife. Couldn't of asked for a more relaxing and restful visit to Door County. We'll be back. Mel & Angie Snook Geneseo, IL

My husband and I used White Lace Inn as our home-base for 3 days of tandem cycling in Door County. Room was great, staff incredibly knowledgeable, and friendly. Loved their community involvement. Only small complaint is no 24-hour coffee pot AND lack of protein choices at breakfast.

Was an okay B&B, but nothing spectacular. Would definitely try another B&B if we get back to Door County area again.

Beautiful homes (4) and common garden area with a waterfall feature. Our room was cozy, however the a/c squealed at 3 am, but it was cool enough to open the windows. Quiet area, comfortable bed, good water pressure (a bit hard), close to downtown area. Breakfast was not impressive, should have skipped it. They served a dish with tomato and peppers, which was a little cold, but I wasn't going to eat it. The mugs were turned down on the placemat which wasn't sanitary to me. The friendly server didn't offer another option when I am sure she noticed it was not going to be eaten, but I also didn't ask. They serve all four homes (approx 18 people), it would have been nice to have more options. If we were to stay again, we would skip breakfast for a discount. There are plenty of bakeries in Door Co which offer delicious muffins, rolls and full breakfast menus.

We had a very relaxing 2 night stay. Everyone was very friendly, food was very good, beds were very comfortable, and the room was quiet. Price was a little above average but so was the stay. We could walk to the down town to the shops and restaurants. All in all a very relaxing stay which is just what we wanted.

The building was beautifully decorated, well maintained and very clean and peaceful. We stayed on a very hot day and appreciated the individually controlled air conditioning. A great place to relax, even the whirlpool was quieter than most places.

Stayed in the Garden House, Secret Garden (Room 10), overlooking the pond with goldfish and flowering lily pads. Grounds are very well maintained. Charming accommodations that took me back to yesteryear. Attention to detail is quite evident throughout the property and houses. Breakfast was sooo delicious in the charming parlor. Centrally located in a residential neighborhood with a short walk to downtown shops and dining, close to parks, near nightly entertainment, etc. Staff were very accommodating my entire visit. Will definitely consider staying here again.

Stay at white lace inn was a bit pricy, but for first bed and breakfast experience it was worth it. maybe will return at some point, but not in near future. Spend most of the time out going to different locations in door county, only spend nights in the room. I still would recommend for romantic gateway.

We had a two night stay here and had a wonderful stay. The room was huge. We were in #16 in the Hadley House. It was well appointed and the bed was firm & comfortable. Dennis was very helpful with getting us information on a local park for biking and letting us know where to go to eat. He was attentive but not overly so. The grounds were gorgeous. The inn was beautiful, relaxing, the food was yummy and we had a great time!

My husband and I stayed in the Hadley House, Suite 16. This was our frist visit to Door County. The room itself was a very comfortable two room area with a large bathroom and Jacuzzi. Exceptional clean, and well kept, but the living room area had a "musty oder". We stayed there 3 nights. The breaksfast's were excellent and prepared by a one of the staff (Laurel). She was very friendly and cordial. The only drawback was when we arrived on our first night, as with most B&B Owners, they welcome you and are pleased to greet you at the door. We unfortunately felt that we were more of an intrusion than a welcome sight from the owner - Dennis. This is the first B&B that I have been at where I felt awkward staying at. Hospitality is lacking from the owner(s). The cook who prepared our meals was great, she really made us feel at home serving us.

We had a wonderful time at White Lace Inn! The smell of the lilacs hit your nose as soon as we got out of the car to check in, guess we hit the perfect time! The room was bigger than the pic online, so we were quite surprised! The bed was kinda hard but we did sleep very well. We did not eat our breakfast there because my husband likes his eggs and bacon etc. for breakfast so we found a cute little diner 2blocks away, We will definately be back to pamper ourselves again!
3.6 on June 21, 2012
Our stay started out well enough, but in the end we were disappointed. First, the good parts. The setting is beautiful, with several converted Victorian houses and beautiful gardens. Breakfast was wonderful, as was the service and staff. Being animal lovers, we particularly enjoyed the very friendly cats that roamed the grounds and the common area of the main house. Of course if your allergic to cats, this could be a problem. Unfortunately, our stay was marred by one minor, and one major issue. First, the TV did not work. This wasn't a major issue, since we weren't there to watch TV; but it would have been nice to be able to catch the weather forecast in the morning, etc. Much more importantly, the bed was extremely firm. Both my wife and I were stiff and sore after trying to sleep on what felt more like sleeping directly on the hardwood floors. I eventually ended up curled up on the love seat in the room. We did not feel our experience was worth the cost, and unfortunately, we will not be staying at this establishment again.

While most B&Bs that we looked into required a 2 night stay for the weekends, The White Lace Inn was alittle more flexible - actually put the guests' needs ahead of their own. The proprietors were incredibly nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated in period decor. We did not stay in the main house, as The White Lace Inn is actually several different houses and not just the one you generally see in the ads, but all are very nice and give you quite a selection of accomodations. The breakfast is served in the main house, which is literally just a short walk from whichever house you stay in, and is not just delicious, but plentiful, a nice variety in courses and the seating is well presented. We would, and most probably will, stay again when in the area. Highly recommended!

Everything about the White Lace Inn was fantastic! We loved the incredible room we stayed in with all the windows and a king-size whirlpool!!! Our Innkeeper was very informative and helpful. We arrived late and didn't know where to eat. He not only told of us a great restaurant, but called to make sure how late they would remain open. He goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome! We will definitely visit White Lace again!

This is the fourth visit my wife and I have made to the "White Lace Inn". On each visit, we stayed in a different room, and each room held its own unique charm. On this visit, we stayed in "Washburn House C". The room was extremely clean and beautifully decorated. On point which impressed me particularly, was the clever use of space which not only makes each room unique, but also provides for the best use of the space which is available. The breakfasts are wonderful; the innkeeper most amiable; and the staff very helpful. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

The above areas were overall average. However the night we stayed there, there was a guy who was engaging in a heated conversation with other guests which made it very incomfortable to in the common areas. This person also began playing the piano around 7:30pm and was still playing after 9pm. This was disruptful and inappropriate.

Room was very small with no closet or drawer space, but otherwise very nice and comfortable. The wirlpool tub was great and the breakfast was wonderful. I think they have larger rooms but since this was for just one night it was adequate. A really charming home and worth a visit.

My wife and I have come to the White Lace Inn almost every year since our marriage in 1995. We've stayed in several of the rooms in the Garden House and my wife especially loves the place. She's very much into Victorian style houses. She loves the area so much she wants to move to Sturgeon Bay! Dennis and Bonnie at the White Lace have been unfailingly accommodating and professional and their Inn is simply divine. We've stayed there a dozen times and we can hardly wait to go back. From the moment I walked in the door to the moment I checked out, this experience was fabulous and without fault. The room was clean, well decorated, and exactly as depicted on the website. The breakfast was simply amazing! The Innkeepers also gave excellent suggestions on things to do and places to visit nearby. They were warm, welcoming, respectful, and all over charming! I will DEFINITELY be referring friends here as well as making plans to stay again.

The room looked a lot nicer online. It was very dusty and cold. The fireplace did not work. When I called the front desk, no one came to offer help. They had me "jiggle the wires" to get it going. It was barely more than a pilot light. We opted not to eat breakfast there since it seemed very dusty & musty. Very pricey for what we got. I wouldn't recommend it.

Exactly what my wife and I needed for our weekend away. Very comfortable and relaxing. Had the feeling of home. It was a very special weekend; finding out we are going to be parents for the first time too! Plan on returning again!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at White Lace Inn. It was comfortable and the Innkeepers, Dennis and Bonnie are very lovely people. We were also amused by their friendly cat, Mister, who escorted us to the front door and then later to our room and then silently disappeared as though his work was done. :) Thank you for a lovely weekend. :)

I went with my girlfriend for an after christmas get away and was VERY glad we had found the White Lace Inn. The room was quite comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was served quickly and was always delicious. There was live music one night and we received reliable information about what to do and where. We will definitely go there again!

We recently took a brief but very much needed vacation at the White Lace Inn, and every aspect of it was wonderful, down to the pillows I liked so much that I'm considering ordering some for home. Dennis was fantastic, full of knowledge about the town, even making phone calls to find a place for us to go to dinner when we showed up at 8pm (on a Monday in the middle of winter). We will definitely go back (hopefully for a longer stay)

Our one night stay at this Inn was great. Dennis always makes sure you are taken care of. I love the homey feeling when you walk in the door of the main house. This was a nice escape from the busyness of the Christmas season. We will be back.

This historic Bed and Breakfast located in Sturgeon Bay, WI is comprised of several amazing buildings of equal historic quality. All are wonderfully maintained and decorated with period antique furnishings that are both pleasing to the eye and weary traveler. Homemade breakfast is truly a treat, as the owner typically joins in small talk with the guests and also offers dining options and suggestions. Highly recommended for historic value, location, comfort and price.

This Inn is a great location in the Door to start your adventure no matter what season. And if you are looking for complete privacy or a bit of chit chat in the main house it's the perfect blend for anyones tastes. Speaking of that you will not go hungry after indulging on their yummy breaakfast that changes daily. We have been coming here for over 22 years so for us it's like coming home with every stay...the rooms are so cozy & clean. We love the White Lace Inn & you will too:)! John & Susan

It was stated there were plenty of places to eat within walking distance during off season, but really there wasn't many at all unless you want to eat in a bar. The room was nice but we had on air conditioning and windows open all night and the room temperature was still mid to upper 70s (very warm, hard to get comfortable). Also the tv placement in this room with the bed makes it difficult to find a spot to get cozy and watch anything. Owners very nice though.

Everything "met our expectations" because we've experienced the superior ambience and gracious service for the past ten years and plan on another ten. Thank you, Dennis!

The only problem we had with the stay at the White Lace Inn is the quality of the mattress in the bed...it was very poor and both woke up the next day with a backache.
5 on November 22, 2011
I stayed in the main house. The room was large and the bed was extremely comfortable. The whirlpool bath was particularly pleasant after a long day out at the Packers game. Would definitely recommend staying here.

My husband and I have visited the White Lace Inn periodically over the last 25 plus years. And each time we go we fall in love with the Inn and each other. What a perfect romantic getaway! Especially in the Autumn or Winter to enjoy the crackling of a fire in our rooms fireplace!! And a warm cheery breakfast each morning in the main house. We will be returning for another 25 plus years!!
4.6 on November 10, 2011
We were there in late October for an anniversary weekend. The rooms were larger than expected and were very cozy and private. The staff was friendly and offered excellent directions to various places. They had maps and menus available for local and anywhere you could think of in door county. Close to wineries. We had fun!

Our stay at the White Lace Inn was lovely, the innkeepers were extremely nice and the breakfast was amazingly good! The room (#6) was very clean and cosy; the only thing is that the pipes were pretty noisy so bring your earplugs and you'll be fine. I would definitely stay there again!

The lady there greeted us and was very pleasant and was accommodating. Our room was nice, little smaller than I expected, but clean and warm. The house was lovely, but limited. Breakfast was wonderful though. I would recommend this B&B.

It was excellent. This was our third time at White Lace Inn. Everyone and everything was terrific including the town of Sturgeon Bay. Unique things to see. This time we took in a small glass factory that makes jewelry, vases etc. The owner took us through the factory showing us the kiln and the process. If you haven't tried the White Lace Inn, make it a must in the future.

We normally shy away from B&Bs but decided to give The White Lace Inn a try and we were ecstatic about our stay........super Victorian room, great breakfasts, Thursday night entertainment with free beer, soft drinks, tea, coffee and home made cookies. Private bathrooms for each room....beautiful setting with babbling brook loaded with fish....just a great getaway we will surely look forward to again.

We had a wonderful time and hated to go. This was our 3rd stay and have not been disappointed ever. We will definitely be back again!!! Thanks for everything...

We enjoyed our stay at the White Lace Inn. The only complaint I have is that we found several cobwebs in our room. I loved the grounds and the homemade scones were fabulous. The garden was beautiful and my friend and I took advantage of them as our husbands went fishing and we were able to enjoy the grounds.
5 on August 29, 2011
We stayed in the Hadley house, suite 19. I felt so comfortable and at home at this place. The setting is peaceful, the gardens are gorgeous and the accomodations were amazing. Our only mistake was staying for only 1 night. Next time it will be longer!!
5 on August 27, 2011
My wife and I found the White Lace Inn through an ad in a chicago newspaper years ago. We have enjoyed many trips there since. The Inn has become the standard we judge all others and very few measure up.
3.8 on August 26, 2011
The Inn is beautiful with detailed woodwork and rooms with elegant decor. Beautiful gardens on walkways in backyard. We stayed three nights. A couple misses with no coffee prior to 8:00 am breakfast on the first morning, the cookies were oreos and dry oatmeal/choc chip. 2 of the 3 breakfast were real good, didn't care for the warm fruit soup which was served 2 mornings. It was a good value, but not exceptional.
3.4 on August 19, 2011
This was my second visit to the inn, and we enjoyed the visit. The room was comfortable and clean, and breakfast was delicious. One thing B&B's could learn is to provide reading lights on both sides of the bed and more horizontal space to put cosmetic bags and dopp kits in the bathroom. The innkeepers were very nice, and the location is great for visiting other areas of Door County.
4.8 on August 19, 2011

Our host's were friendly, helpful and courteous. The room was absolutely beautiful. Had a wonderful time and would highly reccomend.
4.4 on August 15, 2011
This was our 4th stay at the White Lace Inn. Each and every time we are greeted as special guests; with Dennis and staff going out of their way to make sure we have information about local events, attractions, and plays/musicians that are in town; providing directions and recommendations, etc. This time, special accommodations were made for our late arrival. Breakfast is always great, including flavored coffee - and there are always homemade cookies and beverages for snacking throughout the stay. We have stayed in summer and fall - and enjoyed the whirlpool tub and fireplace during our stays. The gardens during the summer are beautiful. The ease of this location allows for time to explore all of Door County. I would not hesitate to recommend this inn to anyone.

My husband and I stayed at the White Lace Inn for our honeymoon last year. My cousin was going to get married at the WL but they eloped sooner. We decided to keep our reservations and enjoy the weekend alone. It was wonderful. The staff is friendly, the room was beautiful, the cookies are incredible. The cherry stuffed french toast is out of this world and I'm glad it was one of the breakfasts offered the weekend we stayed. We plan to go again next year.

Our vacation was cancelled due to all the storms in our area so we decided to see if the White Lace had a room available to salvage a few days of vacation. They did and as usual it was wonderful. The breakfast was delicious and our room was clean and comfortable. A perfect place to get away!
3.8 on July 31, 2011
Never had any contact with innkeepers during our stay. Innkeeper should at least stop by and greet guests and ask if they have questions or need anything. A real lack of social skills here......Wonderful breakfast and pleasant interactions with other staff and patrons of the B and B.
5 on July 31, 2011
Wonderful inn keeper! Welcoming and very knowledgeable about the area and able to give us good tips for our excursions into Door County. The breakfast menu was outstanding! The White Lace Inn has great ambiance in a very serene setting; great place to relax and enjoy!!!

This was my second stay at the White Lace Inn. Dennis welcomed me and Bonnie came and talked to me while I was in the gardens. It was a wonderful expierence. I sat on the front porch and in the beautiful gardens. There was live music in the parlor of the main house. I had a kayaking trip scheduled "up the door" one monrning for 9am. Dennis made me my own breakfast early (7:30 am) so I would have enough energy (and time to drive) during the day while I was kayaking. The meals were wonderful. The cookie jars in the parlor was always filled with freshly baked cookies. The staff was very nice. Everyone was very helpful giving me tips of places to visit. Thankyou for another wonderful stay. I will be visiting again.

The White Lace Inn is a fantastic place to stay. For my first real experience staying in a B&B, we had a great time. We were greeted with friendliness as Dennis knew who we were when checking in and seemed to be aware of all the information I had sent ahead of time. The rooms were beautiful, clean and comfy. The garden area outside was so relaxing, as we took some time to sit outside and enjoy. Bonnie met us the next morning when we went for breakfast and was so helpful as we asked questions about our plans for the day. It was such a great time. I would definitely recommend this B&B to everyone!

This was our second stay at the White Lace Inn in Sturgeon Bay. As before, this is a lovely inn with a host who genuinely cares that you enjoy your stay and is very visible yet not intrusive. The staff is friendly and attentive while having breakfast and takes pride in their service. The room was very clean and while small provides all that one would need to relax and get some quiet time. It is a very charming place to stay while visiting the peninsula of Door County with many charming shops and interesting museums right in Sturgeon Bay should you decide to go no further. I recommend The Inn at Cedar Crossing for dining later on in the day after you enjoy breakfast at the White Lace Inn.

it was rainy and cold, but the Inn was such a wonderful experience that didn't even effect our time. the Inn is beautiful...and the other homes that circle the property as well. i can only imagine what the garden looks like in full blossom, during the summer. i couldn't find one negative, or changeable thing. may it remain exactly the same. we also went in town and shopped their shop....equally as unique! thank you sooo much for making our stay as blessed as it was!

The cookies are awesome! Neighborhood cats welcomed us and visited us numerous times. The waterfall pond was very relaxing to fall asleep too as well as the crackling fireplace. The bed wasn't the greatest nor the seating chairs-very uncomfortable. But we had a wonderful relaxing weekend-despite the noises from upstairs, the pipes heating up and a red Prius door ding leaving paint on my white car.

This place is adorable! The room had a nice cozy feel to it. Fireplace in the room made for a nice atmosphere. Our bathroom had a nice little jacuzzi tub, that was nice and relaxing ...oh, and it was nice and clean unlike your typical holiday inn. The bedding was soft and comfy! I thought the breakfast was great, and you can come in anytime before 10pm and get a cup of hot tea or apple cider, etc. The innkeepers are super nice and accomadating. Sue gave us some tips on what to go see and that was so helpful, we had no idea what to do for the day! I recommend staying 2 nights, we origanlly planned for 1 night just to get away, and we loved it so much that we had to stay 2 nights! I can't wait to go back!

Personable Inn Keeper. Rooms are well maintained, roomy, with authentic antiques. Breakfast was disappointing. Hash brown and egg casserole was good. Stuffed French toast tasted like it used blueberry jam and not fresh fruit. Would have like to see more use of local cherries in fare. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return again

The room made us feel pampered and we slept soundly- even fit in a nap. We enjoyed another delicious breakfast with a fresh bouquet of tulips. We also took some recipes home to hold us over until next time. Everyone is so friendly too- you'll love your stay!

We continue to go back again and again, it is that good. Years of consistent and welcoming service. Thank you so much for making every stay special. The breakfasts are always a treat. Coffee is excellent. Don't forget to come back later for fresh cookies, coffee, or hot chocolate, mmmmmmmmm. If we have done the math correct we have stayed in 7 different rooms for a total of 13 visits. Every time just gets better. Very helpful staff! If you are looking to explore the area or just want somewhere to go to eat, they know the area very well and have never steered us wrong. Rooms are cozy and very comfortable. Complete relaxation takes over very soon after checking in.

Time spent at The White Lace Inn is always restful and wonderful. The bed in The Hideaway is a bit on the hard side and the room could use a bit up updating, but it is clean, very quaint, and very quiet. We love the wood-burning fireplace.

Our stay was pleasant at The Hadley House, Suite #18. I would however recommend a 2 night stay, as we only stayed 1 night. The Suite is simply beautiful. Dennis greeted is and showed us to our Suite and guided us through the amenities/features. Breakfast was mediocre; they should let you know upon arrival what they will be serving (incase you should have any food allergies) and also to see if it’s of your liking, perhaps you may need a plan B for the breakfast portion of your stay. I was also a little surprised that in the main house (where breakfast is served), there wasn’t a “public” restroom; kind of an inconvenience to have to go back to the house we were staying in just to use the restroom. Our overall stay was very comfortable and I can’t wait to go back and stay in a different Suite; had a chance to preview Suite #17 also in The Hadley House and that is next on the list!

Comfortable, old home-like, welcoming; couldn't beat the White Lace Inn for these on two cold February days! I was traveling on business & decided to avoid the resort & stay someplace less commercial -- this is it! From the requested extra pillows to the fresh ingredients in the just-cooked breakfast, I felt very pampered. That's exactly what I wanted! You'd be foolish not to stay here when you are in the Sturgeon Bay area.

Always enjoy heading to Door County for a relaxing getawy. Once again we were not disappointed. The White Lace Inn is one of our favorite spots to go in the wintertime. Such a charming place.

We just wish we had stayed more than one night, and that it wasn't on the superbowl. Most of the restaurants and business closed early to watch and celebrate, other than that the room was beautiful. Everyone there was sweet. Hope to go back again.

We've had the opportunity to stay at over 20 B&B's over the past few years, but none compare with the White Lace Inn. Dennis and Bonnie are gracious hosts, the rooms are awesome, and the setting is first rate. It's a short walk to downtown Sturgeon Bay, and we went shopping, ate a nice dinner, and caught a play. A perfect romantic getaway...

The staff was great but the room was not worth the money that we spent. The 'artwork' had water stains and looked like it was from a discount store. The faucet on the whirlpool was not a whirlpool fixture, non of the fixtures matched, the towel bars are in need of replacing. The bed was so uncomfortable along with the couch which I tried to sleep on after I couldn't sleep in the bed. The gas fireplace kept on 'popping' which is not right and would alarm me every time it happened and we, needless to say, shut it off. Overall for over $200 that night it left a lot to be desired. This is only one suite and I cannot speak for the others.

This is a charming Victorian era B&B. My wife and I love to visit Door County at least three times a year and we always choose the White Lace Inn. If you are looking for a romantic weekend-get-a-way for Valentines Day or any other occasion consider The White Lace Inn.

our daughter reserved this getaway for us for an anniversary gift, we had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before and weren't sure what to expect, being off season it wasn't busy which was nice, breakfasts were delicious and they had something different both days, staff was very friendly and helpful, rooms were spotless, bed was very comfortable, we had a fireplace in our room and we were shown how to use it, they had extra wood in our room and also more wood outside near our room, we would definitely stay there again

We love the White Lace Inn ever since we came for a honeymoon 15 years ago. It has been our place to escape every year for our anniversary plus many other times during the year. We can't say enough about the friendly staff and their knowledge of yummy area restaurants or fun events. One of the owners, Dennis, can be seen regularly and is willing to strike up a conversation at anytime. We highly recommend the White Lace Inn to anyone wanting a quiet, romantic get away- especially in winter, our favorite time to go! Richard & Sharada Kettle Eagle, WI

This was our 8th or 9th visit since my wife and I were married 15 years ago. Dennis and Mary Statz' attention to detail is marvelous. They make little improvements frequently, but this year they completely redid the bathroom. The choice of furniture, the beautiful linens they use for the bed, the high-quality towels, the fireplace, the powder room fixtures, the mirrors, the charming bay window, the curtains...everywhere you look you see quality and thoughtfulness. And there's a range of room prices so that we're never tempted to stay in a motel while we're in Sturgeon Bay. The Statzes also own one of the best shops in Sturgeon Bay, too: The Dancing Bear. We're going to stay at the White Lace for THREE nights next time!

We had been to the White Lace Inn before many years ago. We enjoyed our visit this time too, but a few things were lacking. It was very cold outside, but for some reason our room was extremely hot. I wanted to put the fireplace on so bad but could not the first night. In fact we had to turn the air conditioner on. The next day we sat and watched tv with our door open because it was so warm. The staff was not as warm as we would have expected from an inn this size and where it is located. When we went for breakfast the food was great, but the service was a bit off. No one explained how it worked and what the choices were. They brought us something that we couldn't eat due to dietary restrictions and then made a snide comment when I asked for something else. The room itself was beautiful and I was in love with our bathroom. I am not sure if we will go back or not.

My wife has wanted to visit Door County, and to stay in a nice B&B for many years. We had an occasion to get away during October during the school break in Minnesota. We went on an off season day and got a great room rate, and the accommodations were wonderful and beyond any expectations that I may have had. There was no real noise, except someone walking occasionally across the floor in the room above, and our room was pristine and gorgeous! The morning breakfast was fabulous (I ought to know, I'm a chef), and the lady serving us was so warm and welcoming, and she even gave my wife some tips on where to visit and what to see in Door County. This was the best jumping off point for any trip to Door County, and I only wish we had been able to stay longer! Now, keep in mind this is a quiet, romantic place and our room wasn't outfitted with all the latest electronic gadgetry, but it was excellent and provided us with just the respite that we needed! WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK! White Lace Inn is a great place to stay! 5 stars and two thumbs up!

Loved the atmosphere. The room was a little small and on the second floor but immaculately clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and filling, although not outstanding.

The concept of 4 meticulously restored homes joined by a large common garden area complete with gazebo and pathways works very well. Easy walking distance to eclectic downtown shops through nicely-kept residential area. Hosts are pleasant and helpful without being obtrusive, and surprised us with excellent live music one evening and breakfasts that lived up to their sterling reputation. Surrounding area is replete with shops, galleries, theatre, parks, boating, biking and hiking options all within easy drive. Exceeded our expectations.

We had very fond memories of White Lace Inn where we had stayed many times. This was our first visit in 10 years! The absence had nothing to do with the inn but due to our moving further away. We decided to celebrate our 25th anniversary at the inn we both so fondly remembered. I am very pleased to say that we were as happy as ever staying there and found the accommodations of the same high quality we had come to expect. The rooms were as lovely as ever with everything we needed but not overdone. The inn has grown so the breakfasts, though very excellent, were not as intimate as when all the guests fit around the dining room table and sat and visited together. Now we each had our own small tables spread throughout the sitting rooms and dining room; still very pleasant. Yes we will go back for the much needed respite, from daily work and living "busyness", that White Lace Inn offers.

How we enjoyed our visit to Door County! Had never been there. Loved staying at the While Lace Inn. Would really like to go back and spend a little more money & stay in one of the other houses with a little roomier room. We did en- joy having a fire in the evening since we don't have a fireplace at home. Bed was comfortable! Everything was so clean and attractive. Breakfast in the Main House was such a treat. Yes, we would go back and go back to White Lace Inn. The Dunbars

I arrived late afternoon after a long bike ride that day, with my third and final leg scheduled for the following day. I was offered a secure place to store my bike on the porch, and then a quick tour of my room. I enjoyed some live music after dinner before retiring to a very comfortable bed for the night. Breakfast the next morning was wonderful, a perfect start to the cold weather that day. Roger

We stayed at the White Lace Inn in October, 2010. It was a beautiful place, great location in Sturgeon Bay within walking distance to local bars and restaurants. My husband and I have never stayed at a B&B before and weren't sure what to expect. There are four houses that face a common garden area with walk-ways to the main house where you check-in and eat breakfast. It's very pretty and the property is well maintained. We stayed in the Hadley House, Room 17. It was BEAUTIFUL (the best room in the place according to some). The temperature was a little hard to control, but other than that, it was a very nice room...clean, decor was nice, nice bedding, cool sound system throughout the room and bathroom. Breakfast in the morning was AMAZING. And Sue, who served us, was very friendly and helpful in showing us some places to try out during our visit. There are only two things that were just "okay" about the White Lace Inn: We had a gift certificate and although it IS Door County and it WAS one of the nicest rooms they had, I do think it's pretty pricey. I don't think we could have afforded to stay there otherwise. Also, this was our honeymoon trip. It was only for a weekend and our wedding was 11 months ago. We just haven't had the time or the money to do anything sooner or bigger than this. I felt like when we told the owner it was our honeymoon he didn't believe us...with a comment like "Sure...just 11 months ago, huh?". Not that it's expected, but I was hoping for something special from them (even just a sincere "congratulations") to make the weekend special. They ask for reasons for the visit when you are making the reservations and "honeymoon" is an option. I guess I may have assumed that it meant something to select that option when filling it out. Overall, the experience was a good one. If we can afford it again someday, I would consider going back!

This was our very first stay in a Bed & Breakfast and my husband and thoroughly enjoyed the White Lace Inn. The Innkeeper and his staff were friendly and helpful. They suggested the "must see" sites in Door County and their suggestions were well worth it. Our room was Garden House #8 and it was lovely. The room was clean, the furnishings were extremely comfy and the linens were high quality. Breakfast was delicious! We will definitely be staying at the White Lace Inn on our next visit to Door County.

The Inn was very nice with beautiful antiques in every room. Breakfast was delicious and served in a timely manner. There were four of us in two rooms for two days and the one complaint we had was that the host was not cordial - seriously at all. We are quite normal, quiet, undemanding, responsible guests who did not make any requests what so ever other than when we were told there would be popcorn in the afternoon we did inquire as to when it might be ready. Said popcorn never did appear by the way. Willing to chalk his rudeness up to having a bad day - actually two bad days and that would not keep us from staying there again. All in all an enjoyable visit.

We've been coming here every year for about 10 years. The rooms we've had are always EXTREMELY clean and full of charm. When we've stayed around Christmas time, our room has had a small stand up Christmas tree that is lit up. It's absolutely charming. We love coming here, and the breakfasts are to die for. You will not be disappointed and will make friends with the wonderful people that run this awesome B&B!

My wife and I made reservations on line, didn't get the room we selected as first choice from the photos and had a slight trepidaton regarding the location in town rather than in the country. We were pleasantly surprised on all counts. The room was great (Garden House #8), the fireplace was awesome and the grounds had the feel of the country. Our only regret was that we coudn't stay longer.

We stayed for two nights in late August 2010. Our experience did not quite meet our expectations which were based on reading reviews and other traveling guides. Our room was on the second floor of the main house. In general, the house and grounds have (Victorian) character and are maintained. However, it seems that everything could be much sharper. For example, the paint on the ceiling of the front porch is peeling--obviously needs attention. The lawn behind the main house (garden) was cut, but none of the planter edges were trimmed which gave a kind of 'overgrown' appearance. Our room was adequately furnished and clean; however, the lighting in the bathroom was poor. The pump/jets on the whirlpool were very loud as well--could not have a conversation when they were on. The food was merely satisfactory. Food is prepared every morning from 8-10:30am and is not cooked to order--it is more of a take it or leave it arrangement.

The best part of this stay was that they honored our wedding present gift certificate from 4 years ago. That made it all worth while. Our breakfast was the same thing we had several years ago. I was hoping to try something different. Overall, our stay was very nice. Thanks White Lace Inn.

A lot of detail went into the grounds. We had a house that was behind the main entrance. The room was spacious and had all the touches of home on the lower level. Coffee pot, fridge, tea. It was really nice. The whirlpool was awesome and could fit both of us in it. The porch was awesome too! It was a great day for our wedding anniversary! Very pleasant indeed!

We were married at the White Lace Inn in the gazebo in Sept 2000. We returned for the next 4 or 5 years and then ran into financial difficulties. We are finally able to return this year and we are looking forward to going back! Our wedding was a small one. The staff helped us with everything from providing names of a few pastors/justices who could perform the ceremony to allowing a staff member to be our witness to arranging a horse drawn carriage to take us to a wonderful supper. They are the friendliest people you could ever want to meet! A+++++

I was only in town for 2 nights. I was a little disappointed that it rained out most of my plans. However, my stay at this lovely inn made me feel lots better. I stayed in the yellow house behind the main one. The furnishings were great.1 I was especially impressed with the fireplace in DR and a large buffet there. They were exquisite antiques. Breakfast was blueberry french toast, Yummmmmm. If I ever get back to Door Co, I would consider it again. JE Miller Rock Co., WI

My husband and I visited the White Lace Inn in March 2009. We stayed in the Hadley House-Suite 17. Oh my----this is the most amazing room I have ever stayed in!!! It is absolutely breathtaking!!! From the gorgeous fireplace, to the King sized whirlpool tub, to the soft and serene shades of blues and yellows and we can not forget the sumptous King sized canopy bed! What a retreat!!! The innkeepers were wonderful as well! We went into the main house and asked about local walking distance restaurants, Dennis provided us with a few differnent names and locations. We had a marvelous meal at a lovely italian restaurant just a few short blocks away. In the morning we had the most amazing breakfast served and cooked by Bonnie-a truly remarkable chef! All in all our stay was magical! So nice and relaxing, we couldve stayed for a week at least! :) Kudos to Bonnie and Dennis for creating such a truly astonishing B&B!!!

When my husband and I were first married, we stayed at the White Lace Inn for our honeymoon. It was perfect because of the great accommodations and awesome breakfast each morning. When I decided to surprise my husband with a return trip back to this fabulous place, I didn't think it could be as perfect as the last time. But I was wrong! 10 years later and the place is still as amazing and perfect as ever! There are so many small touches that set it apart from other places. Bottomless cookie jar, beverage service throughout the day, area and dining information, beautiful linens and pillows on the bed, evening entertainment, etc. They definitely make you feel at home and part of their family. Now, we need to make more frequent returns to this relaxing and magical place. Thank you White Lace for an amazing time!

After looking at the website, I was thinking this is "too good to be true". Wow, who would know that the site's description is accurate. The room was so comfortable, special breakfasts, & evening treats, that I started to believe grandma was going to tuck me in at night. Not only did the innkeepers know the area well, but made recommendations based on each individuals needs, such as dine, child friendly, etc. The White Lace Inn had even more than I realized I wanted in a vacation.

The rooms are beautifully decorated in Victorian style, complete with antiques and fireplace; yet all of the modern amenities are available, including a private bathroom. The grounds have beautiful flowers, trees, fish pond and gazebo. During the day guests are treated to pop corn, homemade cookies, flavored teas and coffees. Breakfast was delicious and served in such a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. My husband, who is a meat and potatoes, camping-type guy, loved it and we look forward to a return trip. My husband and I had never been to a B & B before and had never been on a honeymoon, so we chose to stay at the White Lace Inn for our 25th anniversary. Dennis and Bonnie went above and beyond, we had a special note on our bed when we got there, they arranged for us to have a horse carriage ride around door county included with our stay at a special rate. Then in the morning we had a wonderful breakfast prepared by there staff. It was wonderful, hope that we get a chance to do it again before we are married 50 years.

We stayed at the White Lace Inn one weekend just for fun. Our room was clean and beautifully decorated. There was a beautiful empire bed that I have to say was hard as a rock to sleep on but looked fabulous! The room also had a lovely woodburning fireplace. The breakfast was delicious every morning as well!! We also went on a trolley tour that picked us up at the White Lace Inn and dropped us back off there at the end of the day! The room was peaceful and quiet and filled with beautiful furniture, but my favorite was the wood burning fireplace, reminded me of my grandparents house!

Tony and I have come to the white Lace Inn to stay twice now and it continues to be the most romantic bed and breakfast we have ever been to. The times we stayed there brought us closer and closer to one another and in this day and age with all the divorces and breakups couples are going through, that is saying alot. We will undoubtedly be back to stay again very soon. We have been thinking of renewing our vows and I could think of no where else that would be more romantic and more beautiful to do it at. Thank you White Lace Inn and all who work there for your continuous care and all the love that is obviously put into keeping your bed and breakfast the highest of quality. Karla and Tony

This was my second stay at the White Lace Inn. It is a very charming inn, which now includes five homes. The level of detail in the workmanship is exquisite. The staff is not obtrusive while delivering excellent service. The rooms are spotless. The food is devine. It was just a perfect stay for me and my husband. It was his first visit to a B & B, and I could tell he was a little worried about what it would be like. He said, "I like Bed and Breakfasts" after just a few minutes. We would absolutely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone. Also, go up to Ephraim to have a fish boil at the Old Post Office - perfection.
