Room was great. Had a little problem with the whirlpool. Service was excellent. Our second stay. Everything was clean and inviting. Had great experiences dining in the area. Great value as usual.

Great location, aweseome amenities, gracious hosts, will stay again!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at White Lace Inn. It was comfortable and the Innkeepers, Dennis and Bonnie are very lovely people. We were also amused by their friendly cat, Mister, who escorted us to the front door and then later to our room and then silently disappeared as though his work was done. :) Thank you for a lovely weekend. :)

I went with my girlfriend for an after christmas get away and was VERY glad we had found the White Lace Inn. The room was quite comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was served quickly and was always delicious. There was live music one night and we received reliable information about what to do and where. We will definitely go there again!

We recently took a brief but very much needed vacation at the White Lace Inn, and every aspect of it was wonderful, down to the pillows I liked so much that I'm considering ordering some for home. Dennis was fantastic, full of knowledge about the town, even making phone calls to find a place for us to go to dinner when we showed up at 8pm (on a Monday in the middle of winter). We will definitely go back (hopefully for a longer stay)

Great place for a weekend getaway! The hosts are friendly and easygoing, he prices are reasonable, the rooms are charming, and the food is delicious!

Our one night stay at this Inn was great. Dennis always makes sure you are taken care of. I love the homey feeling when you walk in the door of the main house. This was a nice escape from the busyness of the Christmas season. We will be back.

This historic Bed and Breakfast located in Sturgeon Bay, WI is comprised of several amazing buildings of equal historic quality. All are wonderfully maintained and decorated with period antique furnishings that are both pleasing to the eye and weary traveler. Homemade breakfast is truly a treat, as the owner typically joins in small talk with the guests and also offers dining options and suggestions. Highly recommended for historic value, location, comfort and price.

This Inn is a great location in the Door to start your adventure no matter what season. And if you are looking for complete privacy or a bit of chit chat in the main house it's the perfect blend for anyones tastes. Speaking of that you will not go hungry after indulging on their yummy breaakfast that changes daily. We have been coming here for over 22 years so for us it's like coming home with every stay...the rooms are so cozy & clean. We love the White Lace Inn & you will too:)! John & Susan

It was stated there were plenty of places to eat within walking distance during off season, but really there wasn't many at all unless you want to eat in a bar. The room was nice but we had on air conditioning and windows open all night and the room temperature was still mid to upper 70s (very warm, hard to get comfortable). Also the tv placement in this room with the bed makes it difficult to find a spot to get cozy and watch anything. Owners very nice though.

Everything "met our expectations" because we've experienced the superior ambience and gracious service for the past ten years and plan on another ten. Thank you, Dennis!

The only problem we had with the stay at the White Lace Inn is the quality of the mattress in the bed...it was very poor and both woke up the next day with a backache.

I stayed in the main house. The room was large and the bed was extremely comfortable. The whirlpool bath was particularly pleasant after a long day out at the Packers game. Would definitely recommend staying here.

even in the offseason, it is a nice area, lots to do, wineries, shops to stroll through, the maritime museum, etc.... and the inn is clean, friendly staff, quiet, a nice get away.

My husband and I have visited the White Lace Inn periodically over the last 25 plus years. And each time we go we fall in love with the Inn and each other. What a perfect romantic getaway! Especially in the Autumn or Winter to enjoy the crackling of a fire in our rooms fireplace!! And a warm cheery breakfast each morning in the main house. We will be returning for another 25 plus years!!

We were there in late October for an anniversary weekend. The rooms were larger than expected and were very cozy and private. The staff was friendly and offered excellent directions to various places. They had maps and menus available for local and anywhere you could think of in door county. Close to wineries. We had fun!

Breakfast was fantastic! Room was adorable. Owner was super helpful.

Our stay was okay. The room was fantastic, but we found ourselves going out for breakfast due to the lack of variety on the menu.

It was wonderful, exactly the romantic weekend we imagined. We much prefer the Bed and Breakfast experience when away from home, and White Lace Inn is our favorite place to stay. Service is friendly and accommodating, rooms are romantic and very clean, great breakfast, too.

The staff was very friendly. The room was quaint with a very firm bed. Great whirlpool tub!

My wife and I have stayed at the White Lace Inn numerous times at various times of the year and the accomodations and staff always exceed our expectations. Each room is unique, well appointed and comfortable and clean.

Our stay at the White Lace Inn was lovely, the innkeepers were extremely nice and the breakfast was amazingly good! The room (#6) was very clean and cosy; the only thing is that the pipes were pretty noisy so bring your earplugs and you'll be fine. I would definitely stay there again!

My husband and I stayed here recently and upon our arrival learned our room was not ready. We arrived after the time alloted to check in. The lady there greeted us and was very pleasant and was accommodating. Our room was nice, little smaller than I expected, but clean and warm. The house was lovely, but limited. Breakfast was wonderful though. I would recommend this B&B.

We stayed in the Hadley House Suite 17 and the room was Beautiful. Everything about our stay was Outstanding! This was our second stay at the White Lace Inn and we plan on coming back again.

This was our first B&B experience, and will do it again. White Lace has a really nice staff, great food, and big tubs. We were very happy that we got our own bathroom. We had a really nice time in the area. Winery's and restaurants within walking distance. We will be back.

Our stay was wonderful. If you want a romantic evening or two go to the White Lace Inn. We had a fire place with a large whirlpool tub and the bed had a canopy, it was so so nice. The owner was really nice, I really don't have anything bad to say. I would definitely go back!

It was excellent. This was our third time at White Lace Inn. Everyone and everything was terrific including the town of Sturgeon Bay. Unique things to see. This time we took in a small glass factory that makes jewelry, vases etc. The owner took us through the factory showing us the kiln and the process. If you haven't tried the White Lace Inn, make it a must in the future.

We were married in the gazebo and it was perfect. The gardens and the room was beautfull. The experience left us longing to return.

My sister wanted a romantic place close to Milwaukee to get married. It was a beautiful September day. The gazebo and gardens were the perfect setting. The minister gave a beautiful, meaningful 30-minute service.

We normally shy away from B&Bs but decided to give The White Lace Inn a try and we were ecstatic about our stay........super Victorian room, great breakfasts, Thursday night entertainment with free beer, soft drinks, tea, coffee and home made cookies. Private bathrooms for each room....beautiful setting with babbling brook loaded with fish....just a great getaway we will surely look forward to again.

We enjoyed our stay at the White Lace Inn. The only complaint I have is that we found several cobwebs in our room. I loved the grounds and the homemade scones were fabulous. The garden was beautiful and my friend and I took advantage of them as our husbands went fishing and we were able to enjoy the grounds.

We stayed in the Hadley house, suite 19. I felt so comfortable and at home at this place. The setting is peaceful, the gardens are gorgeous and the accomodations were amazing. Our only mistake was staying for only 1 night. Next time it will be longer!!

My wife and I found the White Lace Inn through an ad in a chicago newspaper years ago. We have enjoyed many trips there since. The Inn has become the standard we judge all others and very few measure up.

The Inn is beautiful with detailed woodwork and rooms with elegant decor. Beautiful gardens on walkways in backyard. We stayed three nights. A couple misses with no coffee prior to 8:00 am breakfast on the first morning, the cookies were oreos and dry oatmeal/choc chip. 2 of the 3 breakfast were real good, didn't care for the warm fruit soup which was served 2 mornings. It was a good value, but not exceptional.

This was my second visit to the inn, and we enjoyed the visit. The room was comfortable and clean, and breakfast was delicious. One thing B&B's could learn is to provide reading lights on both sides of the bed and more horizontal space to put cosmetic bags and dopp kits in the bathroom. The innkeepers were very nice, and the location is great for visiting other areas of Door County.

Was wonderfully surprised with the quality and comfort of the White Lace Inn. We stayed in the Washburn house, and was impressed with the beautiful gardens, wonderful decorations and the very tasteful breakfast and cookies. The staff was very pleasant and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

This was our seventh visit to the Inn. We have stayed in a variety of different rooms there and always have a fun and relaxing vacation. The breakfasts are great and filling.

Our host's were friendly, helpful and courteous. The room was absolutely beautiful. Had a wonderful time and would highly reccomend.

This was our 4th stay at the White Lace Inn. Each and every time we are greeted as special guests; with Dennis and staff going out of their way to make sure we have information about local events, attractions, and plays/musicians that are in town; providing directions and recommendations, etc. This time, special accommodations were made for our late arrival. Breakfast is always great, including flavored coffee - and there are always homemade cookies and beverages for snacking throughout the stay. We have stayed in summer and fall - and enjoyed the whirlpool tub and fireplace during our stays. The gardens during the summer are beautiful. The ease of this location allows for time to explore all of Door County. I would not hesitate to recommend this inn to anyone.

The hosts were very helpful as guides to Door County and the breakfasts outstanding. We will certainly consider coming back. it is an excellent home base from which to explore the area.

wonderful breakfast, room was smaller than I thought and my wife felt a little unsecured due to us staying at a separate house and we didn't know if we could close lower main door as there was another room downstairs.

We were married in the gazebo and came back for our 15 year anniversary. It was wonderful.

My husband and I stayed at the White Lace Inn for our honeymoon last year. My cousin was going to get married at the WL but they eloped sooner. We decided to keep our reservations and enjoy the weekend alone. It was wonderful. The staff is friendly, the room was beautiful, the cookies are incredible. The cherry stuffed french toast is out of this world and I'm glad it was one of the breakfasts offered the weekend we stayed. We plan to go again next year.

Highly recommend this B&B. Great full breakfast in a beautiful setting. Could spend days just relaxing in the gardens and gazebo.

We had a pleasant stay at White Lace Inn. The only dispointment was there was no place to put your small items. We are not used to living out of a suitcase when we travel.

We were given a gift certificated for a night stay from our children for our wedding anniversary. We had a very nice visit. The rooms were clean and beautifully decorated, and everyone there was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast that was served was outstanding. I can't wait to go back again!

Very nice and cozy location to relax and celebrate. Located close to downtown Sturgeon Bay made it very nice to be able to take a walk and shop.

Our vacation was cancelled due to all the storms in our area so we decided to see if the White Lace had a room available to salvage a few days of vacation. They did and as usual it was wonderful. The breakfast was delicious and our room was clean and comfortable. A perfect place to get away!

Never had any contact with innkeepers during our stay. Innkeeper should at least stop by and greet guests and ask if they have questions or need anything. A real lack of social skills here......Wonderful breakfast and pleasant interactions with other staff and patrons of the B and B.

This was my second stay at the White Lace Inn. Dennis welcomed me and Bonnie came and talked to me while I was in the gardens.It was a wonderful expierence. I sat on the front porch and in the beautiful gardens. There was live music in the parlor of the main house. I had a kayaking trip scheduled "up the door" one monrning for 9am. Dennis made me my own breakfast early (7:30 am) so I would have enough energy (and time to drive) during the day while I was kayaking. The meals were wonderful. The cookie jars in the parlor was always filled with freshly baked cookies. The staff was very nice. Everyone was very helpful giving me tips of places to visit. Thankyou for another wonderful stay. I will be visiting again.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Thankfully the room was air conditioned! Water pressure in the shower was a little low. The Innkeepers were great. Breakfast was very good and unique. Will definitely come again.

What a beautiful place.. The outdoor grounds and gardens where lovely, the Inn houses are very attractive and the suite we stayed in was beautiful and very clean.. Oh yes, the breakfast was excellent. Should we again tour Door County, this Inn will be our choice.

My husband & I highly recommend the Whitelace Inn. We have told our friend about our stay. The room and grounds were outstanding.Our room and common areas were spotless clean. The Inn is close to the areas we wanted to see; Egg Harbor, Sister Bay, ect. The Inn is in a QUIET area. The Inn keeper were helpful about area resturants and things to see. We will be back for another stay.

The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. Access to the many sites and shops of Door County were just a short drive away.

The White Lace Inn is a fantastic place to stay. For my first real experience staying in a B&B, we had a great time. We were greeted with friendliness as Dennis knew who we were when checking in and seemed to be aware of all the information I had sent ahead of time. The rooms were beautiful, clean and comfy. The garden area outside was so relaxing, as we took some time to sit outside and enjoy. Bonnie met us the next morning when we went for breakfast and was so helpful as we asked questions about our plans for the day. It was such a great time. I would definitely recommend this B&B to everyone!

This was our second stay at the White Lace Inn in Sturgeon Bay. As before, this is a lovely inn with a host who genuinely cares that you enjoy your stay and is very visible yet not intrusive. The staff is friendly and attentive while having breakfast and takes pride in their service. The room was very clean and while small provides all that one would need to relax and get some quiet time. It is a very charming place to stay while visiting the peninsula of Door County with many charming shops and interesting museums right in Sturgeon Bay should you decide to go no further. I recommend The Inn at Cedar Crossing for dining later on in the day after you enjoy breakfast at the White Lace Inn.

it was rainy and cold, but the Inn was such a wonderful experience that didn't even effect our time. the Inn is beautiful...and the other homes that circle the property as well. i can only imagine what the garden looks like in full blossom, during the summer. i couldn't find one negative, or changeable thing. may it remain exactly the same. we also went in town and shopped their shop....equally as unique! thank you sooo much for making our stay as blessed as it was!

This bed and breakfast is wonderful, they go above and beyond to make your stay relaxing. It was clean quiet and totally relaxing. Thank you to them for the great experience.

The cookies are awesome! Neighborhood cats welcomed us and visited us numerous times. The waterfall pond was very relaxing to fall asleep too as well as the crackling fireplace. The bed wasn't the greatest nor the seating chairs-very uncomfortable. But we had a wonderful relaxing weekend-despite the noises from upstairs, the pipes heating up and a red Prius door ding leaving paint on my white car.

Bed was wonderfully firm. Bathrooms are huge. (rooms are quite large actually) Staff was super friendly.

The place was perfect! Great food, nice room with real fireplace. Dennis gave us good suggestions for dinner places and theater.

This place is adorable! The room had a nice cozy feel to it. Fireplace in the room made for a nice atmosphere. Our bathroom had a nice little jacuzzi tub, that was nice and relaxing ...oh, and it was nice and clean unlike your typical holiday inn. The bedding was soft and comfy! I thought the breakfast was great, and you can come in anytime before 10pm and get a cup of hot tea or apple cider, etc. The innkeepers are super nice and accomadating. Sue gave us some tips on what to go see and that was so helpful, we had no idea what to do for the day! I recommend staying 2 nights, we origanlly planned for 1 night just to get away, and we loved it so much that we had to stay 2 nights! I can't wait to go back!

Personable Inn Keeper. Rooms are well maintained, roomy, with authentic antiques. Breakfast was disappointing. Hash brown and egg casserole was good. Stuffed French toast tasted like it used blueberry jam and not fresh fruit. Would have like to see more use of local cherries in fare. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return again

The room was cozy and very pretty. The location couldn't be beat - private yet close to downtown. Breakfast was delicious - would definitely stay again. Loved the Garden House building.

We have visited The White Lace Inn several times over the last 13 years. The first visit was wonderful, just as every one since. The room made us feel pampered and we slept soundly- even fit in a nap. We enjoyed another delicious breakfast with a fresh bouquet of tulips. We also took some recipes home to hold us over until next time. Everyone is so friendly too- you'll love your stay!

We continue to go back again and again, it is that good. Years of consistent and welcoming service. Thank you so much for making every stay special. The breakfasts are always a treat. Coffee is excellent. Don't forget to come back later for fresh cookies, coffee, or hot chocolate, mmmmmmmmm. If we have done the math correct we have stayed in 7 different rooms for a total of 13 visits. Every time just gets better. Very helpful staff! If you are looking to explore the area or just want somewhere to go to eat, they know the area very well and have never steered us wrong. Rooms are cozy and very comfortable. Complete relaxation takes over very soon after checking in.

Time spent at The White Lace Inn is always restful and wonderful. The bed in The Hideaway is a bit on the hard side and the room could use a bit up updating, but it is clean, very quaint, and very quiet. We love the wood-burning fireplace.

Our stay was pleasant at The Hadley House, Suite #18. I would however recommend a 2 night stay, as we only stayed 1 night. The Suite is simply beautiful. Dennis greeted is and showed us to our Suite and guided us through the amenities/features. Breakfast was mediocre; they should let you know upon arrival what they will be serving (incase you should have any food allergies) and also to see if it’s of your liking, perhaps you may need a plan B for the breakfast portion of your stay. I was also a little surprised that in the main house (where breakfast is served), there wasn’t a “public” restroom; kind of an inconvenience to have to go back to the house we were staying in just to use the restroom. Our overall stay was very comfortable and I can’t wait to go back and stay in a different Suite; had a chance to preview Suite #17 also in The Hadley House and that is next on the list!

My wife and I went up for an evening and had a wonderful time. It was relaxing, comfortable, and lovely. The staff is great and really enjoy meeting and greeting you. Looking forward to going again!

Comfortable, old home-like, welcoming; couldn't beat the White Lace Inn for these on two cold February days! I was traveling on business & decided to avoid the resort & stay someplace less commercial -- this is it! From the requested extra pillows to the fresh ingredients in the just-cooked breakfast, I felt very pampered. That's exactly what I wanted! You'd be foolish not to stay here when you are in the Sturgeon Bay area.

Always enjoy heading to Door County for a relaxing getawy. Once again we were not disappointed. The White Lace Inn is one of our favorite spots to go in the wintertime. Such a charming place.

We just wish we had stayed more than one night, and that it wasn't on the superbowl. Most of the restaurants and business closed early to watch and celebrate, other than that the room was beautiful. Everyone there was sweet. Hope to go back again.

We've had the opportunity to stay at over 20 B&B's over the past few years, but none compare with the White Lace Inn. Dennis and Bonnie are gracious hosts, the rooms are awesome, and the setting is first rate. It's a short walk to downtown Sturgeon Bay, and we went shopping, ate a nice dinner, and caught a play. A perfect romantic getaway...

The staff was great but the room was not worth the money that we spent. The 'artwork' had water stains and looked like it was from a discount store. The faucet on the whirlpool was not a whirlpool fixture, non of the fixtures matched, the towel bars are in need of replacing. The bed was so uncomfortable along with the couch which I tried to sleep on after I couldn't sleep in the bed. The gas fireplace kept on 'popping' which is not right and would alarm me every time it happened and we, needless to say, shut it off. Overall for over $200 that night it left a lot to be desired. This is only one suite and I cannot speak for the others.

This is a charming Victorian era B&B. My wife and I love to visit Door County at least three times a year and we always choose the White Lace Inn. If you are looking for a romantic weekend-get-a-way for Valentines Day or any other occasion consider The White Lace Inn.

our daughter reserved this getaway for us for an anniversary gift, we had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before and weren't sure what to expect, being off season it wasn't busy which was nice, breakfasts were delicious and they had something different both days, staff was very friendly and helpful, rooms were spotless, bed was very comfortable, we had a fireplace in our room and we were shown how to use it, they had extra wood in our room and also more wood outside near our room, we would definitely stay there again

White Lace Inn is very comfortalbe. We really enjoy the in-room fireplace. Dennis and his wife are great hosts. The whole place is beautiful.

Excellent reservation process, easy to find in Sturgeon Bay, centrally located in the city, comfortable, clean and cozy. Excellent breakfast too! We will return.

We've been to the White Lace many times and each and every visit is outstanding. Never had a bad experience. Satisfaction is virtually guaranteed.

We love the White Lace Inn ever since we came for a honeymoon 15 years ago. It has been our place to escape every year for our anniversary plus many other times during the year. We can't say enough about the friendly staff and their knowledge of yummy area restaurants or fun events. One of the owners, Dennis, can be seen regularly and is willing to strike up a conversation at anytime. This was our 8th or 9th visit since my wife and I were married 15 years ago. Dennis and Mary Statz' attention to detail is marvelous. They make little improvements frequently, but this year they completely redid the bathroom. The choice of furniture, the beautiful linens they use for the bed, the high-quality towels, the fireplace, the powder room fixtures, the mirrors, the charming bay window, the curtains...everywhere you look you see quality and thoughtfulness. And there's a range of room prices so that we're never tempted to stay in a motel while we're in Sturgeon Bay. The Statzes also own one of the best shops in Sturgeon Bay, too: The Dancing Bear. We're going to stay at the White Lace for THREE nights next time!

We had been to the White Lace Inn before many years ago. We enjoyed our visit this time too, but a few things were lacking. It was very cold outside, but for some reason our room was extremely hot. I wanted to put the fireplace on so bad but could not the first night. In fact we had to turn the air conditioner on. The next day we sat and watched tv with our door open because it was so warm. The staff was not as warm as we would have expected from an inn this size and where it is located. When we went for breakfast the food was great, but the service was a bit off. No one explained how it worked and what the choices were. They brought us something that we couldn't eat due to dietary restrictions and then made a snide comment when I asked for something else. The room itself was beautiful and I was in love with our bathroom. I am not sure if we will go back or not.

This was our first B&B experience. We were very happy with the room, service, and food. I have recommended White Lace Inn to my family and friends. Will definitely go back again.

My wife has wanted to visit Door County, and to stay in a nice B&B for many years. We had an occasion to get away during October during the school break in Minnesota. We went on an off season day and got a great room rate, and the accommodations were wonderful and beyond any expectations that I may have had. There was no real noise, except someone walking occasionally across the floor in the room above, and our room was pristine and gorgeous! The morning breakfast was fabulous (I ought to know, I'm a chef), and the lady serving us was so warm and welcoming, and she even gave my wife some tips on where to visit and what to see in Door County. This was the best jumping off point for any trip to Door County, and I only wish we had been able to stay longer! Now, keep in mind this is a quiet, romantic place and our room wasn't outfitted with all the latest electronic gadgetry, but it was excellent and provided us with just the respite that we needed! WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK! White Lace Inn is a great place to stay! 5 stars and two thumbs up!

Loved the atmosphere. The room was a little small and on the second floor but immaculately clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and filling, although not outstanding.

The concept of 4 meticulously restored homes joined by a large common garden area complete with gazebo and pathways works very well. Easy walking distance to eclectic downtown shops through nicely-kept residential area. Hosts are pleasant and helpful without being obtrusive, and surprised us with excellent live music one evening and breakfasts that lived up to their sterling reputation. Surrounding area is replete with shops, galleries, theatre, parks, boating, biking and hiking options all within easy drive. Exceeded our expectations.

We had very fond memories of White Lace Inn where we had stayed many times. This was our first visit in 10 years! The absence had nothing to do with the inn but due to our moving further away. We decided to celebrate our 25th anniversary at the inn we both so fondly remembered. I am very pleased to say that we were as happy as ever staying there and found the accommodations of the same high quality we had come to expect. The rooms were as lovely as ever with everything we needed but not overdone. The inn has grown so the breakfasts, though very excellent, were not as intimate as when all the guests fit around the dining room table and sat and visited together. Now we each had our own small tables spread throughout the sitting rooms and dining room; still very pleasant. Yes we will go back for the much needed respite, from daily work and living "busyness", that White Lace Inn offers.

How we enjoyed our visit to Door County! Had never been there. Loved staying at the While Lace Inn. Would really like to go back and spend a little more money & stay in one of the other houses with a little roomier room. We did en- joy having a fire in the evening since we don't have a fireplace at home. Bed was comfortable! Everything was so clean and attractive. Breakfast in the Main House was such a treat. Yes, we would go back and go back to White Lace Inn. The Dunbars

I arrived late afternoon after a long bike ride that day, with my third and final leg scheduled for the following day. I was offered a secure place to store my bike on the porch, and then a quick tour of my room. I enjoyed some live music after dinner before retiring to a very comfortable bed for the night. Breakfast the next morning was wonderful, a perfect start to the cold weather that day. Roger

The innkeepers were very friendly and helpful. Room was quaint and beautifully decorated. Room was also extremely quiet and restful. Close to historic shopping district. Excellent snacks and breakfasts.

We stayed at the White Lace Inn in October, 2010. It was a beautiful place, great location in Sturgeon Bay within walking distance to local bars and restaurants. My husband and I have never stayed at a B&B before and weren't sure what to expect. There are four houses that face a common garden area with walk-ways to the main house where you check-in and eat breakfast. It's very pretty and the property is well maintained. We stayed in the Hadley House, Room 17. It was BEAUTIFUL (the best room in the place according to some). The temperature was a little hard to control, but other than that, it was a very nice room...clean, decor was nice, nice bedding, cool sound system throughout the room and bathroom. Breakfast in the morning was AMAZING. And Sue, who served us, was very friendly and helpful in showing us some places to try out during our visit. There are only two things that were just "okay" about the White Lace Inn: We had a gift certificate and although it IS Door County and it WAS one of the nicest rooms they had, I do think it's pretty pricey. I don't think we could have afforded to stay there otherwise. Also, this was our honeymoon trip. It was only for a weekend and our wedding was 11 months ago. We just haven't had the time or the money to do anything sooner or bigger than this. I felt like when we told the owner it was our honeymoon he didn't believe us...with a comment like "Sure...just 11 months ago, huh?". Not that it's expected, but I was hoping for something special from them (even just a sincere "congratulations") to make the weekend special. They ask for reasons for the visit when you are making the reservations and "honeymoon" is an option. I guess I may have assumed that it meant something to select that option when filling it out. Overall, the experience was a good one. If we can afford it again someday, I would consider going back!

I took my youngest daughter for a mother/daughter get away and we loved it. Three yearas ago I stayed here with my oldest daughter. It was great then and it is great now. The staff is personable and caring and the property very charming. We will stay again...soon, I hope!

This was our very first stay in a Bed & Breakfast and my husband and thoroughly enjoyed the White Lace Inn. The Innkeeper and his staff were friendly and helpful. They suggested the "must see" sites in Door County and their suggestions were well worth it. Our room was Garden House #8 and it was lovely. The room was clean, the furnishings were extremely comfy and the linens were high quality. Breakfast was delicious! We will definitely be staying at the White Lace Inn on our next visit to Door County.

We stayed here Oct 6 and 7th 2010 for our 10 year anniversary and we loved it. We would highly recommend this place we stayed in room #17. Room was very clean lots of space very warm in room when it was cold at night. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was awesome. We are already planning on coming back soon hopefully very soon.

The Inn was very nice with beautiful antiques in every room. Breakfast was delicious and served in a timely manner. There were four of us in two rooms for two days and the one complaint we had was that the host was not cordial - seriously at all. We are quite normal, quiet, undemanding, responsible guests who did not make any requests what so ever other than when we were told there would be popcorn in the afternoon we did inquire as to when it might be ready. Said popcorn never did appear by the way. Willing to chalk his rudeness up to having a bad day - actually two bad days and that would not keep us from staying there again. All in all an enjoyable visit.

My husband and I have been going back to the White Lace Inn for many years - The rooms are amazing - spotlessly clean, fresh, inviting and oh so comfortable! The breakfasts are outstanding - and the staff delightful. You leave here feeling relaxed & refreshed. We look forward to it every year. And the bottomless cookie jar - just an added bonus.

It was very comfy and quiet. Innkeepers were great. Breakfast menu was delicious and harvest blend coffee--yum.

Our second time to White Lace Inn. It is just wonderful, so relaxing. We like the idea that we can walk to the business district, shoppes and resturants.
