I've been to Scofield house twice & both times were exceptional. Scofield house is just walking distance to historic downtown Sturgeon Bay which has many shops & good restaurants. When you walk into Scofield house you feel like you have stepped back in time. The place is gorgeous with beautiful wood work in every room, and lots of pretty antiques. In the dining room where there are cookies (sometime brownies), an assortment of teas and coffee that are available 24 hrs a day. Dan and Vicki are very friendly and accommodating. The 1st time we stayed in the blue room which is rather small, but we were only staying 1 night. All of the rooms have fireplaces and all but one (Turret) has a whirlpool. The 2nd visit we stayed in the Gazebo room which is very spacious & has a private entrance. I would recommend this room for anyone that is staying for a long period of time or if you just want the space. On the 2nd floor they do have a fridge which is stocked with water, root beer & orange soda which are complimentary. The beds are very comfortable and rooms quiet. I have never slept so well away from home. Breakfast is always different, always delicious. First time here we had a hash brown casserole that was very filling. They always serve a blueberry muffin first (take this to go), fresh strawberries, choice of juice (I highly recommend the cherry juice) and the main course. The 2nd visit we had french toast & sausage links. Both times breakfast was delicious & filling. Don't make plans for lunch because you won't be hungry until later in the day. The house & rooms are very clean & well decorated. Their rates are very reasonable for what you get. They are open year around, and they have discounted rooms during "off peak" times. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a get away and stay in a cozy B &B with a delicious breakfast.

My wife and I stayed at the room at the top and had a great weekend getaway. The whirlpool was plenty big enough for two and the room large enough not to feel cramped. This is exactly what we were looking for!

My hubby and I just LOVE to visit the Scofield House. We always have a great time-so relaxing and romantic. We love going in the winter because we love to just relax in the house, watch movies, and be by the fireplace together. It is a great place to be. We have been there 3 times and enjoy it every single time. The breakfasts are so yummy and Vicki even made my hubby dairy free meals. So nice of her! We love the Water Lilly Room the best! We want to stay at the top of the house, but haven't gotten to yet! This is a MUST VISIT B&B!
5 out of 5Scofield House B&B is an excellent place to stay.

Wonderful B&B. We made our reservations late so stayed in one of the smaller rooms but it was spacious enough and very well appointed. The entire inn was decorated beautifully for the holidays. Communication with owners was excellent before and during our stay. Breakfast was very good and just the right amount. We will certainly stay there again when in Door County, Wisconsin.

My wife and I stayed three nights here and absolutely loved it. We stayed in the "room at the top," and it was perfect for a romantic getaway. The breakfasts were fabulous. We had no complaints at all.
