The owners of the Schofield house showed great pride of ownership. They made sure everything was clean, plenty of snacks, tea, & coffee available. The food was phenomenol. Rooms very quant and comfortable. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We loved our "room at the top" with skylights, fireplace, double hot-tub, cozy sitting area, incredible woodwork, and angled attic rooflines...VERY comfortable bed, smooth sheets, wonderful pillows... a "world of our own" for our 30th wedding anniversary celebration! Dave & Vicki were very easygoing and hospitable. The breakfasts were not outstanding but were very tasty and filling. Beauty and art everywhere... a LOVELY place! We hope to go again...

This was the first time my wife and I have stayed at a B&B. I've looked at several sites of different B&B's in the Sturgon Bay area. We stayed over the New Years holiday weekend. The Scofield House was beautiful. The hosts Vicki and Dan made us feel like family members. We were given a tour of the house. We stayed in the Rose Room. The room was cozy made even more so by the fire place. Five of the six rooms were booked for the weekend. That evening we were all in the living room enjoying some wine and snacks. The following morning we were served a three course breakfast which Dan prepared. It was great. It will not be a hard decision on where we will be staying next time. It will be here.

The inkeeper was very pleasant and tried to take care of all of our needs, including providing glasses and opener for our wine. Breakfast was very nice. This place was exactly what we needed for a pleasant and quiet weekend.

    Will be back...

Me and my hubby's first time at Door county and we stayed at Scofield house on the weekend of Oct. 21st. I usually read reviews everytime I booked for a room and Scofield house exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was so good, nice rooms and most of all the whole place is immaculately clean. Aside from breakfast, the guest can enjoy having coffee, tea and milk chocolate anytime of the day. Also, bottled waters and sodas for no extra charge. Oh, and the heavenly bars and cookies every night. This old Victorian house is so beautiful. We're already planning to go back this coming spring. Dan, is such a very wonderful host and had a great time talking to him. Hoping to meet Vicki in our next trip to Door county. - Sha and Manny from Chicago
