Chanticleer B&B provides a wonderful getaway in the quiet country, yet is close to all we wanted to see & do in Door County. Our hosts provided excellent service, the room, grounds, and garden were all beautiful.

We have now been to the Chanticleer 3 times. Winter, Fall, and Spring. Quiet, clean, romantic, beautiful. Even my husband loved it, because although the rooms are beautiful, they are not "phoofy". The breakfast and coffee were wonderful.

Newly constructed in 2005, the Oak has become one of our most popular cabins. The upper level of the Oak consists of a spacious living area, which includes your kitchen, living and dining areas, all with views of an enormous gas fireplace. A ½ bath is also located on the upper level. Double French doors lead to an upper level porch with gas grill, porch swing and table with chairs. Both bedrooms, each with a king sized bed, have gas fireplaces, entertainment centers and attached private bathrooms. The master bedroom has a double whirlpool tub. The Oak is the epitome of a luxury cabin. Treat yourselves to the bestCasual sophistication describes this first floor suite. When you enter the Stables, you see the raised, double whirlpool tub surrounded by quarry tile and old barn board walls. The Stables is centered around a four poster, king sized bed, camel backed sofa and bow backed tapestry chair, all with a commanding view of your gas fireplace. Double French doors invite you to a private terrace surrounded by a lush, lavender and rose garden. The Stables will want to make you stay forever!
Comprised of a gorgeous farm house and barn, both originally built in 1915, The Chanticleer Guest House is truly one of Door County’s most unique bed and breakfasts. We are located on thirty private acres, just ½ mile north of Sturgeon Bay. The guest house and guest barn have been carefully renovated to capture the beauty of each structure, while providing the modern conveniences you should expect in a fine country bed and breakfast. Our accommodations include a heated pool and sauna. All of our suites have wonderful views of our flower gardens in summer and snow covered pastures in winter. We encourage all guests to take time and enjoy our groomed hiking trails, which meander through our 70 private acres. Just make sure to take time to stop and pet Maude (the Clydesdale horse)!
The Chanticleer’s uniqueness comes from our exceptional location and the special amenities we offer our guests. The Chanticleer is located 2 miles from historic downtown Sturgeon Bay. We are close enough to conveniently take in the sights of downtown, but far enough away to enjoy the peace and serenity of our 70 private acres
