My sister and I stayed for a week and a half at this charming bed and breakfast. We could not possibly rate it more highly and would only stay here when in Wisconsin. The house and rooms are simply gorgeous and are scrupulously clean. Bonnie and her husband Bill are welcoming and so fun to talk to over breakfast, which is always excellent. Do yourself a favor and stay here!
Thank you again for staying with us. After a week and half, you ladies were like family. Also, thank you again for the mementos you shared. I'll always treasure them and the time I got to spend with you. Hope you'll find a reason to come back to Stevens Point and stay with us.

This B&B is a lovingly maintained, grand old home. The rooms are clean and the breakfast delicious. The location is also convenient yet quiet. I highly recommend.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Bill and I always enjoy sharing our historic home and chatting with our guests. We hope you'll come again and often. Have a wonderful season!

We are repeaters to this B&B. Bonnie is a lovely hostess and we feel so comfortable when we stay here. She helped us think of some ideas to entertain out UWSP college daughter (the brewery and Rudolph Grotto), who we were visiting and that was much appreciated. While at the B&B, Bonnie taught us to play the game Mancala (sp?) and that was a blast. As usual, the home is inviting, and the food absolutely fantastic.
It was great having you back. It's great having the parents of university students stay with us. By the time the students graduate, their parents become good friends. Glad you like Mancala. Come again, we'll have an ongoing Mancala tournament. :)

Each year, my husband and I make our annual October driving combo trip through colorful falling leaves, always while listening to beautiful Linda Eder music, heading to the wonderful Birds In Art Show in Wausau, WI, and have always stayed at a Bed and Breakfast in nearby Merrill. For over 20 years we'd stayed at the same place in "our" room. I had even helped an earlier set of innkeepers with the colors and Interior Design of their large parlor, so I had a real connection with the home. When the current owners decided to close their gem to enjoy with their expanding family, we had to find a new nest to land in, one that would feel warm and cozy. We tried one last year and it wasn't quite right....then, we enlarged our search area and found Dreams of Yesteryear in Stevens Point, WI. Our Inn preferences always center around cleanliness and comfort of the room, having a private bathroom, a delicious, full breakfast, and of course, warm and willing Innkeepers. Bonnie and Bill completely fit the requirements. They made us feel completely at home in their beautifully restored Queen Anne home, and that is not easy when we've stayed somewhere else for so many seasons. This is more than a "property" to them, it is home and it is beautiful. It may be an Inn, but looking around at the antiques and the different collections Bonnie and Bill have assembled within the many rooms, all kept in immaculate condition, it is clear that they love their home. I can tell you that it is rare for an original set of Inn keepers, who also did the restoration, to still be at it after 20 years. Perhaps it is because they are living int the town where they grew up and so they are very firmly planted and know their community well. Whatever the "it" factor is, we hope they keep at it, as we intend to return for another stay! Thanks Bonnie and Bill for a wonderful experience!
Wow, awesome review! I sincerely appreciate the time and thought you put into writing this review. I'm sure other B&B goers will appreciate knowing what you look for in a B&B. I'm so pleased you enjoyed your stay and delighted to hear you'll be back. I'll think of you as I take in the "Birds In Art" show this week.

The accommodations were very nice and we especially enjoyed our conversations with Bonnie and the restoration of the Dreams of Yesteryear B&B.
I appreciate your taking time to post a review. I love talking about our house. Maintaining of Dreams of Yesteryear continues, but the grand place is worth it. Thank you for staying with us. Hope you'll come again.

It was my first time at a Bed and Breakfast and I thought the experience was fantastic. Bill and Bonnie were great hosts and Bonnie's breakfasts were delicious. The house was clean and the room was so warm and romantic. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to get away and enjoy a cozy weekend. Thanks again! I would stay there again in a heart beat.
So happy Dreams of Yesteryear could be your first bed and breakfast experience. We enjoyed meeting you. Hope this will be the beginning of many more bed and breakfast stays. Come again.

Dreams of Yesteryear is impeccably furnished and decorated. The owners extend a warm welcome from the first greeting. We enjoyed seeing the period furnishings and hearing the history of the house. The food was exceptional! Put this on your itinerary if you are in central Wisconsin!
Thank you for that glowing review. We appreciate your visit and were happy to share our home and its rich history. Come again!

Bonnie was so prompt in returning my "distress" call/email to see if she had room available. The room was wonderful. It was such a delight to see the home and learn the history Bonnie and Bill shared in clippings in each room. The rooms were beautiful and well-kept. I also appreciated the no-smoking rule! Breakfast was wonderful. Bonnie also recommended the Water Street Grill only a few block from the B&B. I could walk and feel safe in the neighborhood. And the salmon was perfect! I will stay again if I am in the Stevens Point area.
Thank you for taking time to write. I am so glad to have met you and had a room for you. Don't know when Farm Technology Days will come back to Stevens Point, but I hope you'll find a reason to return to Dreams of Yesteryear.

An excellent place to stay with great hosts - the history of the house is fascinating as well and adds to the environment.
Bill and I certainly appreciate your taking time to review our B&B. After 24 years of the B&B business, I still believe that our guests are the absolute best.
