Parkview B&B

211 North Park Street , Reedsburg, WI 53959 USA (Show map)

Tom and Donna Hofmann invite you to share in the warm hospitality in their 1895 home located in the Reedsburg historical district, one block north of the beautifully restored down town across from City Park. Relax on the front porch or in the guest's parlor where you will find games, a player piano, old record player and friendly conversation with other guests or your hosts. Notice the beautiful woodwork, leaded and etched windows, a suitor's window, and unique hardwood floors and original hardware in the home. There are four bedrooms located on the second floor each with queen beds, two with daybeds. The bedrooms all have tray ceilings and ceiling fans. A pot of freshly brewed coffee or tea is outside your bedroom door as you awake in the morning. Donna, a home economist, enjoys preparing special, seasonal breakfasts for her guests. Breakfast includes juice, fruit, a main-dish, meat and breads. In the spring menus feature rhubarb, strawberries, or maybe Morel mushrooms, if Tom is successful in locating them in the woods. In the spring and early summer a guest favorite is Strawberry French Toast. Summertime breakfasts include homegrown raspberries and blueberries, and other seasonal fruits. Fall and winter menus feature apples, cranberries or pumpkin. There are many attractions in the area such as the 400 Bike Trail, located four blocks from Parkview B&B connecting with the Elroy/Sparta Bike Trail. Other bike trails are west of Sparta providing more than one hundred miles of trails. Antique shops, a six-plex movie theatre, and a variety of restaurants and shopping are found in Reedsburg within walking distance of Parkview B&B.

Parkview terrific stay

A wonderful B&B with great hosts. Tom & Donna were friendly and helpful but not overly so. Just right. Terrific house and lovely bedrooms. Very comfortable. Donna's breakfast was outstanding. We had reservations for a Taliesen tour the next day and it was only a short, lovely half hour drive. Quite handy.

Cozy, welcoming and exceptional breakfasts.

A clean, well decorated and restored older building just off the main street of Reedsburg. The breakfasts were tasty creations made from scratch with beautiful presentation. The owners were happy to join in the lively conversation with new and returning guests.

Lovely space, friendly innkeepers, delicious food

The owners are wonderful, very welcoming. The breakfast... I would go back just to be able to have breakfast like that again!!!! Really enjoyed my stay.

Just right! Great value in a town with almost no motels.

Our room was a tad small, although not the owners fault.I had booked another room but someone else wanted it and we conceded since we weren't there to sit in our room. Breakfast was delicious and hosts kind and helpful.

Great value

Our stay was over the Memorial Day holiday this year. We enjoyed the Seifert Room (sp?) during our two night stay. To start at the's been many years since my last B&B stay and this particular weekend I had the privilege of introducing a close friend to the pleasures of a B&B. We arrived in the early side of the published check in times and were greeted by Donna the Innkeeper. We were shown the room, given the specifics and asked about any dietary restrictions. We had the rest of the day to explore the room and the surrounding area. We spent time in the local area and Spring Green. Our first breakfast was nothing less than magical. Donna is the epitome of the perfect innkeeper and served us the absolutely most perfect delicious breakfast we've ever experienced. Crustless quiche, fruit compote, potatoes perfectly prepared. Oh my. The second day was as perfect as the first. Local exploration, a perfect breakfast hosted by Donna and Tom, who by the way, are both excellent conversationalists. The room was very comfortable, with great linens, great mattress. There was a TV with DVD and cable service for the local news and what not. We had a private bath which was perfectly suited to our needs. Oh, and the coffee and zucchini bread was awesome!!! Sorry. Needed to mention that. To sum up. Highly recommended. Such a bargain and in such a great location. Book now!

Charming, big old house located near downtown Reedsburg and the 400 bike trail. Hosts were friendly and served a delicious breakfast. I stayed in the Garden Room which was comfortable and homelike. Definitely recommend this place.
