We enjoyed a quiet get-a-way in Mineral Point, Wisconsin. Although we enjoyed delicious appetizers at the Brew Pub, we stayed in one of the off site cottages, Springside #2. The cottage was very inviting--clean, well appointed, warm and very cozy. We were within walking distances of the various restaurants and shops in Mineral Point. However, we decided that next time we visit Mineral Point, we'll go in the spring, summer or fall in order to enjoy all the activities in the area, which are closed during the winter season.

My husband and I stayed a Saturday night at the Brewery Creek Inn in room 7. We arrived at about 4pm, checked in and then went on a nice walk through the town. First and Foremost the buildings, including Brewery Creek Inn are beautiful! The only disappointment there was that 90% of the businesses were already closed by 4:30 on a Saturday and would not be opening the following day. After we returned back to the Inn we decided to eat dinner and because we are wine and beer enthusiasts I bought a bottle of wine and my husband had a glass of every beer they had and decided his favorite was the porter so he got a growler. We ended up staying down there for a few hours talking to the well rounded staff. They made for great company and were easy to make conversation with. We then went up stairs to enjoy the room. The room was absolutely spotless. I did not see a piece of dust, hair or lint anywhere! I admired the organic soaps, and bath salts they had fuly stocked and the comfort of the bed. 7 is the smallest room but we had no complaints. I would recommend this vacation to anyone who is looking for a low key and relaxing weekend. It is not like a bed in breakfast in the center of Madison or anywhere else near by. We will definately be visiting again and trying out a different room to make sure we weren't missing out on anything.

Charming Inn... beautifully restored old limestone building! The perfect romantic getaway! The food was exceptional... the coffee encrusted steak in particular was unique and very tasty! Would not hesitate to stay again.

Had a great dinner at the Brewery. The room was great. Loved the whirlpool bath. The continental breakfast was great, too. Wished that coffee had been going as promised at 7:30 though. Easy walk to downtown shops. Would stay there again.

The room was delightful and our hosts and "neighbors" were great. We loved everything about our stay and intend to return for longer than one night.

We decided to spend New Year's Eve at Brewery Creek to get away from the crowds and to enjoy an anniversary as well. We DON'T regret the decision. The main dining area was closed (which we knew in advance due to the Inn's winter hours) so we decided to stay in one of their cottages so that I could cook us a nice meal. It was amazing and quaint and extremely romantic. We were able to enjoy the peace and quiet in this beautiful piece of history and my husband and I couldn't have been more pleased! The owner (Deborah) is wonderful at communicating via email if I had any questions or concerns, which is very helpful when I'm at the office. We will definitely be staying at the Brewery Creek Inn again. P.S. the food at the restaurant is AMAZING and the staff is always super friendly. We have eaten there twice before. I could write a novel about our stay, but I'll just encourage you to try it for yourself! Erin & Matt Reed Iowa

I stayed at the Inn for business, and it was a very pleasant surprise. I did not have a lot of time, and I arrived in the evening for dinner after dark; so I did not have time to explore. However, the pub/restaurant is on the first floor of the main building where my room (7) was located. The food and local beer (I tried the porter and wheat) were all excellent. My room was updated and clean, while still allowing for the historic charm of the building (beautiful exposed stone and wood in room, etc.) to be appreciated. This is a multi-story building; so be prepared for carrying bags upstairs. Also, the other carriage-type buildings are walking distance, but not quite as convenient to the pub. Another note - I did not have time to have breakfast, but if it was like dinner, it would have been delicious. I would return. Thank you!

Dinner was average: Out of Portobello mushrooms, an item that is widely present in the menu; minimal menu options for a vegetarian; food was barely warm; salmon filet was tasty but cool, near rare in the middle. Everything else was great! Brews were quite good - we'll stay again; also give food a second chance.

The rooms and building are gorgeous! The rooms are higher priced than others in the area, you would normally find this price range in Madison/Milw. The owners were more than accommodating when we arrived later than we originally expected. We were able to place our dinner order right when we arrived which happened to be when the kitchen normally closes. I would highly recommend this B&B and we would definitely return! We did some shopping in the town and found a few things to remind us of our visit. Specifically the key chain from our room key, the owners support the local artists and use/display products from Mineral Point. The only small thing I would suggest is having the restaurant available/open more for guests but all in all a great mini vacation for us!

We are usually not big fans of Bed and Breakfasts as we like our privacy. But, we felt perfectly comfortable at Brewery Creek. The common breakfast area was comfortable and convenient. The staff were very accomodating and we felt more like fellow residents instead of guests. The rooms were quiet and the old building had a great "feel" to it. We could not have enjoyed our stay more! Tom and Sue.

We were well rewarded for the out-of-the way location. Impeccably clean, beautifully appointed, quiet and serene. We will definitely be back. We didn't dine her, but will make a point of it next time.

Ours was a simple one-night get-away for an old married couple who just needed an escape from the kids for 24 hours. Living in the Madison area, Mineral Point is far enough from home to feel like a mini-vacation, but close enough should we need to run back home to relieve a sitter. First, let me say that we are fans of Mineral Point and have enjoyed several visits to the area over the years. The galleries are a draw, as is the old used book store right next to the Brewery. We've even enjoyed a few dinners at the Brewery in the past. Knowing how much we've enjoyed the restaurant and the service there, it was a no-brainer to book a room there too. Truth-be-told, being a family on a budget, the prices were steeper than we're used to. But the accommodations were stellar and well worth it! We arrived just before 8 pm with the full knowledge that the restaurant stopped serving at 8:30. I was a little nervous about arriving so late -- it was Friday Fish Fry night, afterall, and I thought it would be difficult to secure a table. When we arrived, the owner greeted us pleasantly, took us to our room and gave us a little tour of the building. We were soooo impressed with how well the rooms had been built. Clearly, this was a major investment, both in restructure and in decor. Very well done! Surprisingly, our room was advertised as the smallest, yet it was quite spacious with an electric fire place in the bedroom and a massive whirlpool tub in the bathroom. We settled in and went back downstairs where a table was waiting for us. The menu is quite extensive. We had a hard time deciding what to order! May I suggest the charbroiled chicken with the Kentucky Bourbon sauce and carmelized onion? Yowza! We topped off our mini-vaca with a drive to Spring Green and a show at American Players Theater. Couldn't have been better!

We stayed in a cabin built in 1836 for miners in the mining/railroad town of Mineral Point, Wisconsin. The cabin has all the modern conveniences, (including wifi and cable tv) , and is very clean and well maintained. There are several rooms, some added later than the original, but all quaint and comfortable. The restaurant at Brewery Creek serves four different and tasty home brewed beers. The food and service is excellent. Friendly atmosphere. Relaxing stay. Good base for tour of the town. Scott and Deb Wycherley, Townsend, WI

My husband and I and another couple with whom we enjoy traveling, spent two nights in the Brewery Creek historic cottage which has been transformed into a cozy B&B duplex. We were greeted at the Brewery Creek Restaurant by a very congenial host, a clever breakfast basket and the keys to the cottage. It was fun to explore both units of the duplex and we were all very pleased with the accommodations. The beds were comfortable, the private bath facilities were spotlessly clean and there was plenty of hot water! We were within easy walking distance of all of the activities of downtown and were impressed by the friendliness of everyone we encountered. We would highly recommend Brewery Creek Inn.

This our second time staying at Brewery Creek. This area is on our way home from visiting children in Iowa. My husband enjoys the beer options and I the wine. We both consider the food first rate. With the Bourbon Pecan Pie a real treat. This time we stayed in room 7. Our favorite so far. Everyone is kind and more than accommodating ! Mineral Point is steeped in History and this B & B brings an elegance to the memories of the past.

This inn is beautiful, warm, and welcoming. The staff couldn't have been friendlier, and we enjoyed meeting all of them. We loved walking around town from the inn, and only wish we could have stayed longer. We didn't stay for breakfast so can't comment on that. But the dinner in the pub was interesting, very flavorful, and we loved the atmosphere. We'll be back.

I stayed at Brewery Creek Inn for 4 nights. The room we had was lovely. I found that it was a little too much like a bed and breakfast, and less like an inn. It seemed that lights out at 9:00 pm was taken to heart, and I had hoped to spend more time in the bar/ restaurant, but like I said everyone was ushered out quite early. The breakfast we enjoyed every morning was delicious and freshly baked. It was a wonderful way to start the day.

Very clean, very nice rooms in a unique Inn. The food at the restaurant downstairs was very good but the Sunday hours were limited. The person that greeted us and showed us our room was friendly and informative. Loved the stone building and the exposed stone in the rooms. Lots of attention to detail in both the Inn itself and particularly in the rooms. The breakfast area was very nice and again great detail. The Inn itself was quiet but it is on a main road so you do hear traffic. Would definitely return maybe in winter to use the fireplace.

After doing some research on B & B opportunities in Mineral Point and surrounding area, we selected Brewery Creek Inn. Upon arrival we discovered our room to be every bit as attractive as it was pictured on the web site. No trick photography here. The room was cozy, clean, airy and decorated appropriate to the setting. Our hostess did an excellent job in explaining our room, services and regulations. We were impressed with the little touches that separate this place from the run of the mill establishments. Things like premium soaps, shampoos, etc. Better brands of foods at breakfast. Willingness to accommodate, friendliness of staff, etc. Before dinner we explored the town's restaurants.. Not one had a variety of items like the Brewery Creek Inn nor did they represent a value either. We liked the intimate seating in the dining area. I enjoy local wines of the area I'm visiting and was disappointed they did not offer local choices. But their "home brew" is fantastic and almost as good as the beers from the Green Bay breweries (yes, we are from Green Bay). All-in-all, I would heartily recommend this establishment to anyone considering an adventure to Mineral Point area.

Brewery Creek is a unique building with excellent guest rooms. Our room (#6) was huge, clean and very well kept. The restaurant was great and had a surprisingly large menu. It was a joy to eat dinner in the restaurant and then return to our room with desserts and the Brewery Creek beer.

The Brewery Creek Inn is a totally charming inn in beautiful Mineral Point, WI. It's managed by a husband and wife team that could not have been more helpful, kind and sincere. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and unexpectedly "modern" in every way one would expect from a chain. Breakfast was put out in the lovely dining room each morning and the restaurant on the lower level was great. It's across the street from an awesome restaurant and within walking distance of "downtown". This place is awesome. My wife and I loved staying here and loved the town of Mineral Point.

Had a great stay at the Brewery Creek Inn. Have been coming for the food and have stayed in one of the cottages in the past; this was the first opportunity to stay in the Inn. Charming room and very comfortable. Everyone bent over backwards to ensure we had a great stay. A bit pricey for the area, but highly recommended none the less.

We arrived on motorcycles on Friday. Freshened up and had a couple good craft beers and a great dinner. Saturday continental breakfast was just right. Morning we checked out all the menus within walking distance (it's all uphill). Rode and returned Saturday night. Went for a drink across the street checked out the place and returned to Brewery Creek for more good beer and a second great meal. Sunday it rained and the host worked with us to stay thru check out and even gave us rags to dry the critcal parts of the bikes. Rooms were outstanding, bathrooms had all lights on dimmers. We would definitely rate Brewery Creek as motorcycle friendly.

We would highly recommend a stay at the Brewery Creek Inn. We had made a reservation in the Miner's Cottage. Upon checking in we preferred the rooms at the Brewery. Dennis was happy to make the change for us. The restaurant is closed on Monday evenings. We traveled to Dino's Bar and Grill in Dodgeville and found an informal setting with excellent food. Our stay concluded with lunch in the Brewery restaurant on Tuesday. Superb! The Porter beer paired well with the coffee burger and the stuffed burger. We will go back again for a room and the cuisine.

We loved this place...visited for dinner the year before, and stayed in one on the cottages this year. Everything was great, with only one minor exception. We'd recommend the foam top on the mattress be removed -- it made the bed very warm in summer and was just plain uncomfortable. Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed the cottage and our entire experience at BCI.

Beautiful room in a beautiful historic building. Very clean with nice little details (a selection of bath salts for the whirlpool tub, sitting area with books, corkscrews for wine, etc.). The continental breakfast was nice, and the restaurant on the first floor is FANTASTIC. If you stay here you should definitely plan on having dinner here as well. And the location is great - very easy to explore downtown Mineral Point and within walking/biking distance to Pendarvis Historical site. (Caution - Mineral Point is very hilly...be prepared!).

Mineral Point and the Brewery Creek Inn were a perfect combo for two tired adults. After a great dinner in the pub arrival day, we had a restful night in our well appointed, beautifully decorated room. The following day we walked to historic sights and inspiring art galleries. The Inn is wonderfully located near everything. another fine dinner completed our two night get away. We cannot wait to return to the Brewery Creek Inn.
5 on August 12, 2013
This was our second stay at Brewery Creek and it was just as marvelous as the first time we went a few years ago. It is perfectly situated in a lovely little British-ish town with a nice walking trail right out back. The rooms feel like you are staying in a guest house or cottage as opposed to a hotel. The food is very very good too. As a vegetarian sometimes it can be difficult to find good options when traveling and you wouldn't think a brewery would have so many options but it does. They value local produce and creative recipes. And their cream soda is to die for.

We had a truly relaxing two-night stay. Everything was perfect.
5 on August 07, 2013
Gorgeous room, and wonderfully accomodating hosts (bike storage was a pleasant surprise, thanks to the brew room). With the old stone walls, all was serene each night and morning, and for what I expected to be a standard brew-pub menu for the restaurant, the pasta/alfredo/pesto was spectacular!

I set this weekend up for my neighbors, they are always so helpful to me and to others. The had helped me in my yard for two full weekends and I wanted to do something special for them where they didn't have to work but just enjoy each others company! I have stayed here myself before and have loved it!

Had a wonderful stay. We were in room #5 on third floor. The hosts were anxious to meet all our needs, the rooms were Very clean and very nicely decorated. But the greatest convenience was their dining room on 1st floor; the food was Excellent- food was home made; Great menu. Many people came to dine who stayed at another place or were locals! Not a complaint, but the cost of the room was a little pricey but would stay again for the wonderful experience.

Everything very clean. Bed and bedding was VERY comfortable- we slept well. It was REALLY QUIET. Bathroom was decent. Kitchen was well equipped although we used only the toaster and coffee maker. Living room area was very comfortable. The place was light and airy and had an air purifier going [stone cottages can be musty]. The service [our daily basket of goodies] was very good.

Had a great stay in Brewery Creek Inn. Stayed in Room 7. Wonderfully appointed old building. Owners are always there and very nice. Food at the Inn is very good. Service was superior. We were a little concerned about noise from an adjoining room just before bed, however it was not an issue. The room was very quite overnight. No elevator, so you need to walk up stairs. Breakfast was more than adequate. We had to be on a tour by 9:15 and they were very accomodiating in setting breakfast out early. Highly recommend staying at the Brewery Creek Inn!

Our first stay -- two nights -- at Brewery Creek couldn't have been better. The room was bright and clean. Owners and staff were friendly. We had a home brew in the pub, which was delicious. Breakfasts offered variety and were more than satisfactory, especially fresh baked pastry. Bed was extremely comfortable. Most of our intended sightseeing was in Spring Green area, a 35 minute drive, but owner directed us to several interesting historic and artsy places in Mineral Point, as well. We'd certainly stay again if we're near the area.

My husband and I stayed at the Miners Cottage and were very impressed with all of the decorations and charm that this property had to offer. Not only is this a historic site - it also offers all the modern amenities that one expects from a fine hotel including plush towels, super comfortable bed, cable , and wifi. We loved the town and talking to the artists in the galleries we visited. Had a great dinner at the Brewery Creek Brewpub as well as a fun lunch at the Grey Dog Deli. We are already talking about coming back in the fall.

A lovely spot to end our week-long vacation through the Driftless regions of IA, MN, and WI. We only wish we had stayed in Mineral Point longer and hope to return again to see Fall colors. Many shops in town weren't open after 5 pm or before 10 am, so we could only window shop. We did enjoy watching the fireworks in park on 4th of July.

Would definitely go back! We highly recommend the Brewery Creek Inn!

We stayed overnight at the Springside Cottage and wished we'd had several more days to enjoy it and the wonderful town of Mineral Point. The cottage is charming with a European feel to it-all the amenities we could want-an eat-in kitchen, cozy living room and spacious bedroom. The backyard was a bonus with its deck and lovely wooded setting. Our welcome basket was full of goodies, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Our innkeeper,Deborah, was pleasant and helpful-she suggested several eating places we might want to try, since the Brewery Creek restaurant was closed when we arrived on Sunday evening. We hope to return and rent out the entire cottage next time for a longer stay.

I planned a getaway for my mom's 72nd birthday. We stayed in the gorgeous and well-appointed rooms 1 & 2, enjoyed the best veggie burgers we've found in state as well as some of the best microbrewery beer. In fact, we filled two growlers (jugs that you can buy at Brewery Creek) so we could take some Weiss and IPA home. The breakfast was also really delicious: coffee, juice, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, fruit and the world's best Danish pastries are served, all while Vivaldi plays in a ambient breakfast area. We had a memorable trip and my mom loved the whole experience.

Stayed in side 1 of the cottage and it was absolutely adorable. It is, however, difficult to identify sicne it has no number associated with it or any sign to indicate that it belongs to Brewery Creek. Accompanied by the fact that the owners provided rather poor directions to it and did not mention parking availability, we were left our devices but did end up finding it in the end after a few passes by. The inside was fantastic: clean, orderly, excellent bed, wonderful accommodations. The back patio could use some work. Since it was was such a beautiful evening, we really wanted to enjoy some WI brewed beer on the back deck, but it so poorly kept, along with shabby lawn care, that it was not particularly inviting. The breakfast basket was a nice touch and the bread was delicious, but it should also be an option that lodgers at the Cottage could come to Brewery Creek for breakfast if they desire. For the price, I would say that they need to clean up the back, place some identifying marks on the building, notify you about parking availability and offer breakfast at Brewery Creek so that it would actually be worth the full cost. For one night though, it was a nice little getaway.

We drove out from Madison for a brief respite and were completely charmed by both Mineral Point and this gem of a place. The Inn is a beautifully renovated stone warehouse with gorgeous rooms, a great brewery on the first floor, good food and perfect location. Galleries featuring local artists abound right out the door and directly across the street is an excellent restaurant with a little fancier fare than in the brew pub, if that's what you're after. You won't be disappointed.

We stayed in the Springside cottage side 1---an adorable half of a double quasi shot-gun cottage. It was very clean, comfortable and quiet. I had never been to Mineral Point before and did not realize it is something of a little mecca for artists, especially potters. Someone clearly put a lot of thought into decorating the interior and included local pottery in the decor and it is very well maintained and cute. The welcome basket of bread and pastries is also a nice touch. The entry vestibulethe can only accomodate one person really--not sure what the local zoning laws have to say on the matter but I feel like that door should swing out and not in. The owners may have their hands tied on that one--it was pretty odd though. Otherwise the accomodations were quite spacious with a fully stocked eat-in kitchen, a separate living room with a day-bed and spacious bedroom with hardwood floors throughout.

Brewery Creek Inn is a treasure. Room #6 is a lovely room with a lot of space - bathroom was huge. Very clean, quiet, everything worked. Fireplace was warm and cozy. One thing - a coffee pot in the room would have been nice. Coffee in the lounge was available in the morning starting at 7:30 - a bit late for an early riser so the option of being able to brew a pot in the room would have been nice. Outstanding fresh sourdough bread was available for breakfast. Nice touch.

Brewery Creek Inn is beautiful & comfortable. The owners, Jeff & Deborah were gracious & welcoming. The food was fantastic. It was a great get-away for my 60th birthday. The weather was cold & rainy but we were very comfortable in our room, sitting by the fireplace, sipping wine each evening. We will definitely go back. Everyone we met in Mineral Point was warm & friendly.

Rooms are very comfortable, spacious and beautifully appointed with period furniture, and art, yet contemporary in spirit. The renovation of the 19th C Inn is quite good, with architectural elements preserved, yet without the "old barn" feeling. The morning coffee was good, but we felt that for the price, which is not cheap for a room overnight, the breakfast could have been a bit more extensive, as there were no hot dishes offered. Particularly as there seem to be few good breakfast options in the area, and surprisingly, no good espresso to be found anywhere (The Grey Dog doesn't make it). We've stayed at less expensive B&Bs where the owner himself would cook breakfast to order for you. (Evolo's in Minneapolis) The Brewery Creek Inn has the personal feeling of a B&B rather than a hotel, and perhaps this is why we felt that the morning was less exquisite than the evening. Notwithstanding this concern, we highly recommend the Inn, and the beer, as well! Be sure to visit Foundry Books next door, and the Longbranch Gallery, and Wantoot! Also Kusaka the amazing traditional Japanese ramen cafe with no sushi!

I stayed at the end of the winter season,I did not have the opportunity to dine here so I cant comment on that. I did however get to experience, one on one royal treatment as i stayed a couple Monday nights. I was there on buisness. One should consider stayiong on an off night....Nutshell, it"s beautiful, clean, and quite. Both mornings I enjoyed the continental breakfast, plenty to fill you up as you are on your way. Keep up the good work.

the rooms, were so well appointed, elegant and comfortableI was there to teach 2 workshops, and the owners really helped make it more as much business as pleasure. the hosts went beyond the call of duty to be sure I had what I needed, including having breakfast out early, and even lending me tools I needed to teach my workshop! I would come back in a heartbeat, and am already planning another pleasure visit!

Spent 2 nights. Room was beautifully decorated and spotless. Over the years, we've stayed in every room but #7 and each one is more lovely than the next. I'd love to have Deb help me decorate my house. The pastries in the AM are to-die-for, linens are cozy, towels are plush and huge. We didn't eat at the Brewery on this visit.

I have had better brekfasts, but the late lunch we enjoyed in the restaurant Sat prior to checking into our room was wonderful. The room itself was very comfortable. Really enjoyed the whirlpool bath, which is large enough for two, just as stated and the fireplace was a romantic touch. Bed was very comfortable. The town itself is very quaint, will definitely visit again.

Very cute and comfortable. Slight musty smell when we first entered. Breakfast basket contained wonderful pastries and bread, but could have contained yogurt or hardboiled eggs considering the price of the room. Dinner and beer at the Inn was great!

Our experience at the Miners Cottage was over the top. We were so impressed with the attention given to every little detail. The cottage was absolutely spotless. It was located perfectly allowing you to explore the downtown area within walking distance. Our breakfast basket was delightful. We will definitely be back!

We stayed at Brewery Creek Inn for the weekend and had an absolutely wonderful time. The room was beautiful. The website offered a spot-on representation of the experience, from the room photos, to the check-in process, to the restaurant offerings. I would definitely stay there again, and am happy to recommend it. Enjoy!

We were amazed by the well-appointed and very comfortable rooms, excellent food, and by the sincere and gracious hosts. Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations, including the shops, restaurants, and people of Mineral Point. I would recommend a stay here to everyone I know. And we will certainly be back again soon!

The rooms are very inviting, spacious, and clean. I love the fireplace and the large whirlpool! Also the exposed cream city brick is a nice touch. The breakfast is simple but definitely enough to fill you up, plus great sourdough bread baked on site. The restaurant below has a really nice selection, the quality is great, not to mention the beers brewed on site! The owner-wife is very friendly and accomodating. Owner-husband, not so much. Would definitely return!

My husband and I visited Mineral Point for a little overnight getaway. We explored the quaint town and then stayed at the Brewery Creek Inn. We were allowed to check in early which was great. The room we had booked on line was not available due to the site not being updated - the owner called us though and gave us another room. That was ok with us. Our room was on the third floor and it was beautiful and very spacious. The owner took us up and showed us the room. The bed was comfy and the sitting area was wonderful. We enjoyed the spa tub - the bathroom was spacious. The fireplace was neat - the only thing was Sat. night we couldn't get it to work - we checked it again and then it turned on - we wondered if someone else had there fireplace on so our unit then kicked in. Despite that little glitch we enjoyed the room. We had dinner at the pub - delicious food and great service. We would return to the inn - our stay was comfortable and peaceful. The breakfast the next morning was plenty - cereal, homemade bread, pastries, yogurt, and fruit. It satisified our breakfast tastes. We would wholeheartedly recommend the inn to family and friends.

Brewery Creek Inn was a cozy, clean, and relaxing B&B. room was excellent, food was local and very well prepared. Staff was friendly and open but not too present. All in all, a relaxing weekend, and well worth the trip. Thank you.

My wife and I stayed in the "Miner's Cottage" in the middle of January. It was great. The cottage was not built all a once and we enjoyed examining the building for clues about which bits were added when. We ate at the Brewery Creek pub three nights and the food and beer were excellent.

A stay at Brewery Creek is always time well spent. My wife and I currently live abroad, but we are able to make it to the area at most twice a year. We always put a priority on staying at Brewery Creek--it is a practical tradition for us, allowing for us to unplug, reflect, and have time to relax and reconnect. We have always left refreshed and well-rested. The place functions incredibly well in the extremes of the seasons--it is a cool refuge in the height of summer and a place of warmth and comfort in the winter. The hosts Deborah and Jeff are attentive and polite, allowing us to experience the common areas as welcomed guests. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the Brewery Creek Inn between christmas and new years of 2012. The host were very friendly and welcoming and our room was very clean and decorated with style. The bathroom was very large and had a nice double size whirlpool. We also had dinner at the Pub, which we enjoyed. Personally, I did not care so much for the beer from their own brewery, but that is a question of taste, I guess. Breakfast was fine and plenty (they call it Continental Plus), but nothing to rave about (toast+jam, joguhrt, hard boiled eggs, sweet bakery goods). Mineral Point is a very charming town and we very much enjoyed stroling around. We also recommend Governor Dodge State Park for a winter walk or, even better, cross country skiing.

We stayed here the middle of December. It was the only gift that my boyfriend and I decided to give each other this year and we couldn't have made a better decision. We stayed in Room 6 and I was in awe when we entered the room. The linens on the bed were gorgeous, the fireplace, the stone walls, the huge bathroom with the whirlpool and separate shower....all of it was beautiful. Jeff and Deb were wonderful and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The restaurant and pub on the main floor were exceptional. Both my boyfriend and I had two different prepared steak dinners and both were delicious. We also took a walk around Mineral Point and loved all the little shops and the charm of the town itself was worth the walk. We would totally recommend the Brewery Creek Inn. In fact, we are looking forward to going back in 2013...I hear the fall is a beautiful time of the year to visit there.

Very cute room w/character! Good food and beer in pub...need to check w/host before sitting at bar...(just can't sit at bar unless eating(?)). Stayed two nights...room not cleaned following first night.
We are very sorry that we missed this guest's room while doing our standard housekeeping. It is definitely our intent to provide service each morning. Clearly we made an error here and if we'd known about it at the time would have taken steps to correct it. I've talked with our head housekeeper and alerted her that we made a mistake and need to take care! Sometimes our policy of drinks at the bar can be confusing, because it is different. On Friday and Saturday nights from 5:00 - 8:00 the bar seats in the restaurant are used only for dining or for those waiting for a table. We are quite small and during those hours, generally, the demand for food is greater then the demand for a beer. We don't have a separate bar area apart from the dining area so we do the best we can. For guests we do not enforce this policy and guests can come down anytime just for a beer or glass of wine. It is possible that this time the person hosting didn't recognize our guests as guests. Hence the confusion. Our apologies. I'd like to explain

Looked for a b&b near Madison and near The House on the Rock - found this place and decided to give it a try. Very friendly people/owners, love the small town and beautiful shops of Mineral Point. Beautiful building - did a great job of renovating and remodeling - beautiful rooms. Very clean.

The Brewery Creek Inn is nicely secluded in charming Mineral Point. The room we stayed in was nice, though the bed springs certainly have seen lots of use. The bathroom was spacious and the room beautifully decorated. Continental home made breakfast was delightful. The brewpub on the first floor offered tasty meals in an authentic London-style pub and offered three self-brewed beers.
5 on October 11, 2012
This is not a typical bed and breakfast. I would consider this a small hotel with a breakfast available in the morning. My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. The staff was great, the food was excellent and they brew their own beer. ( which is excellent) The restaurant is packed on a nightly basis, because the food is excellent. The staff was more than accomdating for dinner. There are no reservation , but you can wait in your room with a bottle of wine for dinner, or wait at the bar. The bar is only used for waiting for dinner. Some will eat dinner at the bar.The rooms are upstairs from the restaurant. the restaurant closes at about 8:30 pm . Very quiet after dark. The town was cute and had a few other places to dine. MP across the street was unbelievably delicious as well and Tony's has a great burger for a decent price. The Brewry Creek is definitely a must for anyone looking for a romantic place to stay and don't be shy... try the beer!

5 on October 10, 2012
I had a lovely stay and the hosts were very helpful in every way! The atmosphere was fabulous and so cozy and refreshing. One thing people may want to consider is that it is an old building, and sound does travel. I was in a room directly above the restaurant and could hear the happy noise of the restaurant below, but was not disturbed by it. I could also hear the room above me, but again, it was not disturbing.

My stay at Brewery Creek was my first time at a Bed and Breakfast and it was a great first time experience! The owners stayed up and waited for my girlfriend and I to arrive a little later than expected and even gave me a call to make sure we were still coming and on our way. The rooms were very clean and the place was quiet and inviting. I certainly felt at home during my stay, even though it was just one night! Thanks again!!

The Brewery Creek Inn is a wonderful place to stay in a delightful location. Mineral Point is charming and delightful. Proximity to outstanding destinations, especially APT, is excellent. At the Inn everyone is friendly and helpful, the rooms are beautiful, rhe food and beer quite good.

We've stayed here twice, and each time, the room we had was beautifully decorated, unique and very comfortable. So, the "bed" part of this bed and breakfast is great. We stay at a lot of bed and breakfast places, and most of them make an effort with the breakfast part. At Brewery Creek, breakfast is disappointing. You won't go hungry, but it's nothing special.
5 on September 19, 2012
The Brewery Creek Inn exceeds expectations in every way. Not only is the website accurate in its advertising and photographs, but the extra touches - guest robes in the closet, luxury linens, spa bath salts and whirlpool tub - can make a one-night stay feel like a week's vacation. The hosts really work to make every guest feel like the only guest. This place may cost a bit more than some B&Bs in the same locale, but it is worth every penny!
4.0 on September 16, 2012
Breakfast selection was rather limited, and none of it hot, which was surprising, as they have a full kitchen/restaurant on premises. We have had fuller "menus" at "chain" motels, and complete hot breakfasts at other B&B's,. Their regular menu rates closer to 4 stars. We would still, however, recommend Brewery Creek Inn to anyone, and would return ourselves.

We went for a 28th anniversary get away. We booked kind of last minute and ended up with the most expensive room, because it was the only one left. We really enjoyed it. Service, from the owner, was good. Continental breakfast was fine with plenty of choices. The first night we ate at the restaurant downstairs, which was quite good; the owner also recommended the newly opened MP Dining across the street: we ate there the second night and it was outstanding!

We were looking for a place to stay near Madison and in the Mt. Horeb to Spring Green to New Glarus region. I didn't know much about Mineral Point other than the mining history and was pleasantly surprised to find a B&B with it's own brewery because I am a home brewer. Mineral Point has preserved a large number of the mining era buildings (1840's to early 1900's) as part of a historic walking tour, antique shops and artist's studios. Our room was quiet (the brew pub and restaurant are only open until about 9 PM), comfortable, clean and the breakfast provide was very good and plentiful.
5 on August 18, 2012
We stayed two nights at the Springside Cottage. It was very nice with many ammenities including free wireless internet that was easy to access and Burt's Bees shampoo and conditioner. The owners sent along a breakfast basket for us each night, which was really nice too. The only thing about the cottage is that the highway is right behind it, so if you can't sleep with a little highway noise, you might want to pick a different place.
5 on August 13, 2012
The room was great. The food (and the beer) in the restaurant was delicious. We had a great time.
4.8 on August 12, 2012
We stayed at Springside Cottage for 2 nights in August 2012. A great place to stay, especially when you are two couples (as we are). We each had our own space - comfortable beds with good quality linens. We cooked meals together in our separate kitchens and enjoyed them together in whichever apartment we chose. Ate in one dining room and played board games in the other. We will definitely come back with other visitors again. Mineral Point is a great location - lovely walks. Speaking of my personal experience with Mineral Point, I came upon The Mulberry Pottery (14 Jail Alley) - GREAT pieces! I purchased two vessels but I wanted to buy more. I plan to return to Mineral Point and when I do, I will stay at The Brewery Creek Inn. The Brewery's products are excellent. Fact. We enjoyed the Amber and the Shandy. Mineral Point is certainly a destination, but if you are planning a trip to Taliesin, plan to stay at The Brewery Creek Inn to augment your visit! Carol & Niall (Chicago) and Raoul & Margaret (Cologne, Germany).

When we arrived we were told the water heater was not working for the entire Inn. The host was great in showing us the room but not having us commit until we knew the issue would be resolved. He offered us a free beer while we waited. In the end the water heater was fixed and we enjoyed our stay and visit to Mineral Point. I would definitely stay again.

Hadn't been in Mineral Point for many years, but really enjoyed staying at Springside Cottage on Shake Rag St., owned by Brewery Creek Inn. The city is an interesting, historically significant place in Wisconsin and the Mild Dark beer at the Inn is really tasty!
5 on August 08, 2012
I didn't stay in the inn proper, but at their Springside Cottage. The rooms were beautiful, reminiscent of homes I remember from my childhood and absolutely comfortable. My boyfriend and I joked that we wanted to live there forever! We only stayed two nights, and were in the area largely to treat ourselves while visiting APT for Twelfth Night, but the staff made us feel absolutely welcome. Mineral Point itself is a beautiful, small-town location. I definitely plan on staying here again.
4.2 on July 31, 2012
We planned to attend a play at APT and so I searched at random on this site for a B&B someplace fairly close to Spring Green and found Brewery Creek Inn in Mineral Point. What a wonderful find! We stayed in one of the cottages and it was very comfortable and private. Deborah checked us in and provided us with our breakfast basket full of fresh-baked treats. She is extremely warm and welcoming. We dined one evening at the pub and were stunned at the size and scope of the menu. Both our meals were delicious. All in all, we had a delightful weekend and will absolutely stay at Brewery Creek Inn the next time we are in the area.

Mineral Point, Wis. is home to my late husband's family, I can't think of a better way to spend an overnight there then at the Brewery Creek Inn, it has all the charm and quaintness I hoped for. I knew some of the history of the building, so to see it converted to a bed 'n breakfast truly set the mood for sweet dreams. I drove up from North Carolina for family reunion in Dodgeville, upon arriving to the Inn I receieved the VIP tour of my room, I was in heaven. You must stay here upon your next visit to the area, I know I will. Thank you for a wonderful stay...Adele Fitzsimmons

Way cute and larger inside than you could ever guess from the road. Added bonus is an artist community next to and behind the cabin (we took in a highschool musical production of Into the Woods) walking distance to the community pool, clean, large and $3 a person for the day. They refilled the goodie basket each day and a quick trip to the Saturday morning farmers market made for some fantastic breakfast's all weekend with the full kitchen at our disposal. The window unit AC in the kitchen was enough to keep the whole place cool. The details are what really made the place a fantastic break from the norm. The art on the walls, the books on the shelves, the games and decks of cards stock piled made it feel like our very own retreat, with out all the work of keeping it up!
3.6 on July 23, 2012
The cabin was apacious with a living room, well equipped kitchen, bathroom, amd bedroom. The living room furniture was very comfortable. The kitchen had plenty of gear to make eating in a real option. Unlike some B & Bs I've stayed in the bed had good reading lights on both sides. We went back to the restaurant for dinner and you should definitely try the Belgian fries. The only thing wrong was that the rules for the games were all missing but a smart phone and Wikipedia came to the rescue. This is a beautiful place to stay in a beautiful littletown.

We stayed in the stone cottage which is on Shake Rag Street where the Pendarvis historical site is located. It is virtually across the street from Shake Rag Alley, a collection of beautiful early 19th century cottages that is an arts center and includes an outdoor theater. So, the location could not be better. The cottage was totally charming and very spacious for two people, with a living room, dining room-kitchen and separate bedroom. I would stay here again. My main disappointment is that we visited on the one day of the week (Monday) the Brewery Creek Restaurant is closed. And, there really is no equivalent place to dine in Mineral Point. (I would not have rated the dining at all but the website does not let you do that so I had to select a rating based on the breakfast basket.) The small basket of muffins and bread provided to guests at the cottage certainly did not suffice for the breakfast normally expected of B&Bs. I expect that staying in the Inn itself would be better in that respect since breakfast is provided. Had I had a chance to sample the food at the Inn itself, whether breakfast alone or dinner as well, Brewery Creek's dining experience would undoubtedly have received a far higher rating. But,regardless of the lack of a proper breakfast I would make the trade-off for the cottage because of size, location and privacy. And, there are number of good choices in the town for breakfast and lunch. It seems to me that this is by far the best option for lodging when visiting historic Mineral Point and vicinity.
5 on July 18, 2012
Quaintness of accomodations elated my excitement to stay over night in area many of my late husbands ancestors lived or passed thru many times, The stone walls, beam post, antique bed and silky sheets pulled up to my neck, altho the outdoors temperatures were scorching, a pleasant reminder of what it was like when when the miners wives' would shake their rag's to signal dinner was ready for their men folk returning from the mines. It was heavenly for me.

We loved the Brewery Creek Inn. Our room, Room 6, was very large and comfortable, and tastefully appointed with a four poster bed and sitting area. The bathroom was huge, and linens provided were of excellent quality. The owners are delightful and the food in the restaurant is excellent, as are the house beers. This is a far better place to stay than the hotels/B&Bs in the Spring Green area, and it is only about 20 minutes from the American Players Theatre.

The cottage was lovely and fit four comfortably. It was meticulously clean (I dropped a towel behind the toilet and it came out without even a speck of dust). The garden was charming. It may sound strange but we all really appreciated the excellent shower. After biking thirty miles that day it was a welcome surprise. The restaurant was the best food we had the whole trip and their beers were interesting and tasty. I wish we'd booked another night and my son, who lives nearby, plans to be back with his wife.

I made the reservation without any knowledge of the property, or the city. I was looking for a place to stay in the Spring Green area and clicked a link to it. It just looked interesting on their website and appeared much nicer than the old local motels and "charming victorian" home bed and breakfasts I was finding on my web searches. Even though Mineral Point is over 30 minutes away from Spring Green I thought I would give it a chance. What a great surprise! Not only is the Inn in a beautiful old stone building, it is on the edge of a fantastic main street with other beautifully restored stone buildings and cast iron storefronts. Our room was perfect. It started with the real, sturdy bedroom door. A large comfortable bed and other furnishings that had antique appeal, but could be touched without fear, and not cluttered. The room had a private bathroom with a nice big jacuzzi tub/shower. We slept very comfortably and weren't disturbed by any other guests or staff in the hallway. In general the room was very well maintained, but if you are bothered by a cob web, don't look up at the light fixtures. The breakfast was just right. A light assortment of baked goods, hardboiled eggs, fruit, juices and coffee. A great way to start the day. The dining room was well appointed, and we enjoyed meeting and chatting with the other guests. Deborah was a wonderful host. She was always making sure we had everything we needed. It should be noted that one of the best things about our stay was the restaurant and brew pub Deborah and Jeff also run on the first floor. Even if you make the mistake of not staying at the Inn, don't make the mistake of skipping a steak and one of their fantastic beers (only available at the restaurant). We will definitly stay here again and recommend it to anyone going to the area.

Upgrade selections for breakfast like adult cereals, toast, peanutbutter, plain yogurt, as well as self serve coffee available earlier; dinner special was sold out early. My salmon was dry and bland, and seamed to be pre-frozen

We were greeted warmly and provided every comfort. I would like to return when the shops are open in Mineral Point because we window-shopped and there are appealing window fronts. The food is very good but the desserts (pies) were Outstanding!

We were attending a wedding in Platteville, Wi (about 20 miles away) and spent the night in the cottages instead of driving back home to the Milwaukee area. As a family of 5 adults, renting both sides of the cottages was very convenient and comfortable for everyone. We had 3 20-something adults on one side and my husband and myself on the otherside. Having the daybed was great. We arranged to pick up the keys before the official check-in so we could drive on to the wedding and be in time. At check in we were given our basket of goodies for breakfast the next morning. It was a nice assortment. We returned lated and left early, so we didn't get to fully enjoy all the cottages had to offer. There were books, games, and a lovely backyard with deck. The beds were very comfortable with very nice linens. All in all, a very nice stay, and I would recommend this place.

My boyfirend and I recently stayed two nights here in room #1. The room was very clean with lovely, but comfortable, decor. Deborah served delicious continental breakfasts, including some of the very best scones I've ever had! Our inkeepers were very helpful in assisting us plan a bicycling outing. About the biking . . . As Jeff told us before the ride, "There are lots of downhills". OMG! He wasn't kidding!! Luckily, we had the nice big jacuzzi tub and a bottle of wine to help us recuperate after pedaling 47 miles through hilly Uplands farm country . Unfortunately, the brewery wasn't open during our stay, but Jeff let us sample a few of his beers. - - Very delicious!

We stayed at Springside Cottage on a mother-daughter get-away weekend. There are many neat lodging options in Mineral Point and this one was just perfect for our stay. When we were leaving we were talking about "next time" and I mentioned some other options in town and my daughters were adamant...we have to return to THIS cottaqge, because it was PERFECT! thanks for a wonderful weekend!

My boyfriend and I were making a trip to meet the family for a week in the Dells and needed a place to stay the night before meeting everyone. We wanted something different than a basic hotel room and we found the Brewery Inn and their Miner's Cottage. Our stay was great. The cabin is a small cabin with living room/den space, kitchen/dining room, super cute bedroom and a storage cellar. All the spaces were very comfortable and inviting. The cottage was walking distance to the shops of downtown and very convenient to the art district in town. We were just there for a night but could really see it being an awesome place to stay for considerably longer. A week there would be very cozy and relaxing. The only slight complaint we would have made was that the window A/C wasn't on before we arrived so it was a little warm/stuffy. But we got it running and by the time we really settled in (after going out for food) it was comfy. There were also a couple fans to use which helped. I could see it being warm though if you are there in warmer weather than we had. Otherwise, everything was fantastic and it was a great place to stay.

My friend and I recently stayed at the Brewery Creek Inn. What a wonderful place. The owners greeted us and showed us to room 1. Our room was large, bright, clean and very comfortable. We dined downstairs on delicious burgers and sampled the beer and wine which was also quite fantastic. In the morning, we enjoyed the continental breakfast which included breads, pastries, yogurt, cereal, hard boiled eggs, fruit and coffee. We also enjoyed talking with the other guests. I would love to visit again.

This beautiful inn is the perfect blend between historic and modern . All the modern conveniences and luxuries nestled into a hundred year old stone wharehouse/brewery. The breakfasts were perfect too. Fresh eggs and Danish, yogurt, etc. great way to start a day of exploring. The pub restaurant wasn't open while we were here. Would love to try the food next time. I'm sure it's great too. Will return for sure, and will refer friends..

We had a great time in mineral point and surrounding cities. We brought our quad runner and went on the trails for a whole day. We ate and tried out some of the Brewery Creek Beers. The food was good and so was the beer. We stayed at the miners cottage it was great we had our own little house. We also checked out some shops, overall it was a pleasurable experience.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Brewery Creek Inn. The rave reviews I read prepared me for a special place, and it did meet my expectations in most categories. One word of caution - if you want quiet and privacy, don't reserve room 2. This is directly above the first floor dining room of the lively restaurant, and sounds carry clearly through the ceiling/floor. This room is also directly off the breakfast area, so in the morning you will hear other guests serving themselves breakfast ad early ad 7:30 am. We had a delicious dinner at the restaurant.
We are very glad that our guests enjoyed themselves. It is always gratifying to hear. I thought, however, that I should address our guest’s comments on noise from the restaurant. This is a frequently asked question. “Is it noisy on the 2nd floor?” My answer is, “It depends.” There are many variables. Some guests are more sensitive to noise then others. Also some days and nights the restaurant is busier then others. The busiest nights are Friday and Saturday and if you are in Rooms 1 or 2 you will hear noises from downstairs. However, we take our last order at 8:00 Tuesday to Thursday and at 8:30 Friday and Saturday. We are closed Sunday and Monday. We do not do bar business. When the diners have left we lock the front door. Everyone will be gone by 9:30 or 10:00 at the latest even on weekends. For most people this is not an issue, but for some it is. I was, however, surprised to note his comment on noise from the breakfast area as I have never heard this before. It is pretty sedate out there most mornings and the doors to the rooms are heavy. Our building is also right in town and there is a street in the front of it, consequently there is the noise of traffic. Dead quiet at night but some traffic in the morning. I guess the net net is that while we do best we can, we are not able to promise a completely quiet environment.

This was my first time staying at the Brewery and I found it a wonderful place to stay and also dine. The rooms are charming, very clean and impeccably decorated. The staff is all very nice, and Deborah a very gracious host. The Brewery restaurant became our favorite place to eat- love the desserts! Will definitely consider staying here again on my next visit!

The rooms were by far the best part with the fireplace and whirlpool tub (they even provided salts for the tub!). Breakfast in the morning was great and ready at a great time (8:30am). Only complaint was that by the time we got down to dinner they were out of the steak special :( but the meal was excellent!

We recently stayed at the Miner's Cabin which is operated by the same couple who run the Brewery Creek Inn. It was a wonderful visit. The Miner's Cabin is beautifully decorated visually and for comfort. Romantic and peaceful. There is housekeeping each day and a basket of bakery items and fruit is delivered at that time. Small fridge is stocked with drinks, creamer, butter, etc. Cannot say enough good things about this cabin. We loved it.

3.2 on April 19, 2012
The inn itself is very charming and romantic with its old stone walls. The rooms were pleasing overall with a beautiful bed, fireplace, desk, couch, chairs and a large bath including exposed stone walls. The bed mattress is in dire need of replacement. It was very uncomfortable making it impossible to sleep as it sunk in the middle. The windows would not stay open. The hall to the rooms were quite messy and in need of closed doors and/or cupboards. No fun to look at cleaning mops, messy office, etc. The rooms were clean with the exception of spider webs around the radiators and the area behind the couch needed to be vacuumed. The breakfast area outside the rooms was nicely appointed with antiques and quite clean. A very satisfying simple breakfast with lots of choices.
From day one, our primary objective has been to provide really comfortable rooms for our guests. In general I think we succeed, but in this case our guest points out a couple of areas we need to look at to determine what the problem might be. We are not sure which room they stayed in but will check all of our mattresses to make sure they are still in good condition and take whatever action is necessary to make sure they are. We will also check all the windows. The way our sashes are built is with a spring mechanism and we may have popped a spring, causing a window to not want to stay up. Our back hallway can be messy, particularly during a brewing cycle, which are happening frequently right now, or during a busy restaurant day. There is not a lot of space and there is a lot of activity. Essentially it is the working end of Brewery Creek were staff come and go, stock is sorted and stored, recycling is placed for removal, mail is dumped, malt for brewing is ground etc. It takes a beating and while we do our best to keep things straight and organized, we don’t always succeed. For most this is OK. They get a glimpse at the inside workings of our little place, but our “organized chaos” for others can be off putting. We apologize and will continue to do our best to rein it in. Deb

My husband and I had an amazing stay at brewery creek! The room was comfortable and had many great accommodations! We enjoyed hiking at governor dodge state park, walking the streets of mineral point and all the art galleries. The pub had great food and brews! We defiantly plan on bringing our bikes for our next stay!

The rooms were fantastic and clean. The breakfast was nice. We were there March 31, before the "season" opened, and we needed to enter through the back door. They said they would leave a key, but it was not there. Worker person was skeptical to let us in. We let them know inside of an hour when we would be there...so I expected to have a key to get in. Also, the famed Brew Pub on the first level was not open on Sunday evening - it looked like a fun place. Mineral Point was nice, but I am sure it is better in the summer when all the businesses are open.

My significant other and I have stayed at Brewery Creek twice. We absolutely love the Inn. The rooms are quaint and romantic and hold a sense of the past. The food in the restaurant is fresh and flavorful. Chef Robert does an amazing job in the kitchen. His creative menu includes everything from coffee crusted steaks to healthy gourmet salads made with the freshest ingredients. The brewery makes a brew that is aged in bourbon barrels for an entire year. One sip and you think you are in Kentucky! The town has an artistic focus with many art galleries. Staying at the Brewery Creek Inn is a wonderful experience.

My wife and I spent a weekend here in February as a little winter getaway. We stayed in room 6 on the third floor. The room was large, very clean and comfy, with a gas fireplace, sitting area, exposed stone walls, a large four poster bed, and a huge bathroom with a whirlpool tub and shower. Also had a TV with satellite. Everything was very nice, from the linens to the variable lighting. The staff was very pleasant and helpful whenever we needed anything without being intrusive. Sometimes small inns/B&Bs can feel somewhat nosy or pesty, especially for those on a romantic getaway, but they were great about giving us our space. Only a minor complaint-- there was no DVD player, but we just hooked up a laptop to the TV via hdmi cable so no problems there. The food and beer was excellent (we got the winter special of $50 restaurant gift card with our two night stay!). Seems like they put thought into all aspects of their menu. The steaks were excellent and unique. Their Old Ale was incredible-- amazing flavors from aging in oak bourbon barrels with a very strong backbone. The pale was nothing too special, just a nicely balanced session beer (which is always welcome). Mineral Point is a nice, quaint little town. Even in the winter we found at least seven art galleries open (there are probably twice that in summer), covering a wide variety of styles and media. As it was February in Wisconsin, we spent most of the time relaxing indoors, but I'm sure there's much more to do in nicer weather. Overall Brewery Creek is a great place to stay. It may seem a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. I would highly recommend it!

Arrived in the early afternoon to find our room and hosts awaiting us. Room was very clean and modern, despite the age of the structure itself. Very well furnished, with a very comfortable bed. Dinner was delicious; reservations are not accepted, but people staying at the property have first priority. We were able to stop by the bar, pick up a couple of pints of their very good beer, and head back to our room to await a call to dinner. The call came about 15 minutes later, and we enjoyed some very delicious food (a pasta/sausage dinner and a salmon entree). We were very pleased with our accommodations and food choices, and have already recommended Brewery Creek Inn to several of our friends.

I was ready to move into the cottage the moment I saw it-completely warm and charming with beautiful bedding and linens. Easy to operate the thermometer. Love the rainshower and the dimmer switch in the bathroom. DELICIOUS homemade bread in the breakfast basket, plus ample drinks supplied in the fridge. The buildins throughout are wonderful. I loved staying here and would recommend it to all of my friends.

Winter is a quiet time to go to Mineral Point. We spent 2 nights - the first in the 1830's cabin, just a short walk from the Brewery Inn and and the second night at the Brewery Inn. We loved our rooms but the hot water ran out when the tub was half full at the cabin and breakfast consisted of just coffee and cold pastry at the cabin, with the inclusion of cold cereal and cold hard-boiled eggs at the Inn.

My husband and I had a quiet getaway to Mineral Point, WI. We stayed our second time at the charming Cornish Cottage managed by the Brewery Creek Inn and it was as enjoyable as the first visit. The bed was sumptuous and the accommodations comfortable and quaint. Our only disappointment was that some of the local restaurants were closed in the winter months on the days we visited. Enjoy!

We have stayed here twice now and it is always a wonderful experience. The rooms are unique, the beds comfortable and the breakfast great. The beer and the food is excellent in the pub as well, especially if you stick to sandwiches and salads, which is where they are strongest. Desserts are great though too and I highly recommend the corn souffle.

This was our second visit to Brewery Creek Inn and we fall more in love with it every time. We love being here, relaxing, the brewery is great, the restaurant is creative, the rooms are a warm embrace and the town is welcoming. This is our favorite place to stay in Wisconsin. I encourage everyone to come check it out, and I'll just hope it's not all booked when we come back again.

We only stayed one night, but will be back again. We were going to stay in one of the rooms at the inn, but decided to stay in the historic miner's cottage instead. It was warm, cozy and private. We enjoyed the collection of books on the shelves, the fireplaces, the space provided by the 4 rooms, and the home-made tasting breakfast items. The town of Mineral Point has an interesting collection of bars, art galleries, pottery shops, etc. A very nice place to stay.

My wife and I have always shied away from staying in a bed and breakfast for a getaway, yet after seeing photos of Brewery Creek's miner's cottage, I was curious enough to give it a try. Being a carpenter for many years has acquainted me with the world of the haves and have nots, so the idea of a b&b came with a certain stigma that I would be uncomfortable staying in such a place. The feeling I got in the cottage was so akin to our own home which is situated on the edge of a forest. The interior was full of history and art and lended to such a relaxed atmosphere that I gained a great sense of peace. My wife being a fine artist, was beside herself upon seeing the paintings in the bathroom(the clincher for my renting the cottage)that she immediately took a warm bath to study the amazingly whimsical work, somewhat similar to Swedish artist Elsa Beskow. The bed and pillows were just right for a working man's sleep . The cottage sits a stones throw from the charming downtown and the Brewery Creek restaurant/pub. We elected to eat there thankfully and found the single most succulent steak we have ever eaten. With good foresight, my wife and I shared a main course so as to have room for sampling their side dishes and desserts. As lovers of finer food and beer, I have decided to become a better cook myself because short of returning to Brewery Creek, food such as theirs can't be found at large. The wait staff was wonderful and attentive and even the folks at the adjacent table were nice. In short, having planned this trip outside my wife's knowledge and it being such a success, I would recommend this avenue of couple's escape to any husband looking to show his wife a good time. I can honestly say this was the best date night in 10 years of marriage!
Thank you so much for your kind words. We appreciate them. Deb

The Brewery Creek Inn was a fantastic place to stay. The rooms were decorated and maintained with care and superb cleanliness. We ended up staying in 2 different rooms, because we extended our stay by 1 night and our room was already booked, and both rooms were equally nice. The only reason I rated the service as a 3 is because apart from check-in we had very little interaction with the staff and owners but they were very friendly and accommodating upon check-in. I highly recommend a visit to Mineral Point and a stay at the Brewery Creek Inn.
3.8 on December 21, 2011
Although I am not giving Brewery Creek Inn 5 stars for everything I would stay there again. My rating is such that it's all about expectations. If I'm going to spend nearly $200 a night on a room then my expectations are going to be high. The rooms met my expectations because they do a good job on line with the pictures and descriptions. Service I gave 3 stars simply because it's a little awkward when you "check in". You walk right into the bar/restaurant and you feel like you are in the way of other patrons or the wait staff. It's a little awkward. My suggestion would be for the owners to escort you right to your room and then take care of the room charge, not to stand at the bar and take care of it right there. The rooms and Inn itself is extremely clean. No problems there. I had read many good things about the dining so again, my expectations were high and the fish we had was good. The pub was very busy when we got there so they served us our fish upstairs in the dining area of the guest rooms, which felt like we had a private dining room. Very accommodating. They brew their own beer and it was all good! I gave the rooms 4 stars only because I found the beds to be a little on the firm side and although the gas fireplace was warming, it didn't always work right. We like to watch movies before we retire and the tv's here are tiny. I know, who watches tv at a B&B? Well, we do. It's not a deal breaker though. We really enjoyed Mineral Point and if you go in Dec. you will have the town to yourself. It was wonderful. Buy some of Hook's Blue Cheese, it is to die for!!!! So, all in all I would recommend staying at the Brewery Creek Inn.

We stayed on a Friday night in room 7 and loved our stay! We had originally wanted to try out a Bed and Breakfast but the more we looked we found so many that were too old fashioned for our taste and lacked the privacy we wanted. But we ran across this one online and found it to be perfect. The room had a lot of personality and comfort but had the modern touch that most B&Bs seem to lack. Breakfast was really nice and their restaurant below was excellent. Our only complaint was that it was booked Saturday night so we had to stay somewhere else. We would love to come back and highly recommend the Brewery Creek Inn!

The only negative was the traffic noise around the cottage but it wouldn't stop us from staying there again. We highly recommend it and Mineral Point. Great History!

We arrived not knowing what to expect and were surprised and happy to be welcomed and taken care of so expertly. The kitchen was fully furnished and we loved our breakfast supplies. In early October, 2011, I needed a place to do several days of writing on a book that was several months past my promised completion date. I found Brewery Creek Pub in Mineral Point, WI had cottages for rent. The cottage in which I stayed is called, Springside. It has an ample bedroom, comfortable living room with a daybed and a nice kitchen with a microwave, mini-fridge, and a vintage formica table, which is perfect as a writing desk. There is dining available at the Brewery Creek Pub, but I enjoyed simple fare in the cottage's kitchen. Everything was immaculate and pleasant. I hope to return there for my next writing project. Hopefully, I'll deliver my next manuscript on time!

My wife and I took a mini-moon getaway after our wedding and decided on Brewery Creek. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was very cozy, comfortable and clean. The innkeepers were extremely hospitable and showed genuine dedication to making our stay as pleasant as possible. Being a homebrewer, I enjoyed taking with Jeff about brewing, and he even let me observe while he brewed a batch of beer. The brewpub is worth the trip alone, both for the food and the beer. We highly recommend Brewery Creek and look forward to staying there again.

Brewery Creek Inn rooms are very nice. Food in the restaurant is excellent. However, some walls are thin. We were in room 5 and could hear a TV playing ALL NIGHT in the adjacent room; we did not get much sleep. When we checked in we were asked not to use the whirlpool tub after 10 p.m. due to the noise it creates. Guests should also be asked to keep TV's off or keep sound very low between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. so other guests can have quiet sleeping conditions.
I agree completely. In 13 plus years I think I can count the number of times TV noise has been a problem on one hand. However when it is a problem, it is a real problem. We will undertake steps to avoid it in the future. Thank you. Deb

We originally were to stay one night in room 7, but immediately decided to stay another once we arrived! The room was even better in person than online. The second night we spent in the Miner's Cottage. Only a few problems there: not enough hot water (but what can you expect? its 200 years old!), and a sad coffee maker. LOVED the beer and food at the brew pub! We picked this place because we are vegetarian/vegan and we were not disappointed! Mineral Point is a really neat place and we plan to come back in the future.

An excellent find. We stayed in one of the cottage suites that is operated by the Inn. It's a bit of a drive (~ 40 minutes) to/from APT/Taliesen, but near as I could find, it's the best accommodation in the area.

The location was great, right in town. Had a great meal in the restaurant. I loved that our waitress knew the farmer from where the cheese came. Also loved the local, farm fresh foods incorporated into our meal. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The stone walls were beautiful. Would stay again.

Very clean and well taken care of. Only issue is breakfast is served at 8:30 am which was a late for us.

We received a friendly hello when we arrived at the Brewery Creek. Out breakfast basket was ready for us, all went smoothly. Ate at the Inn, it was OK. Cottage was very clean, and comfortable. Sorry that we did not get to visit the town more, there is lots to see.

Our room (#1) was a large corner room, nicely furnished. The back stairs recommended by the hosts was a litle dreary and cluttered, passing by the restaurant kitchen. It's a good thing that the restaurant is not open late, as restaurant noise readily transmits to this room. Despite this, we enjoyed our stay and would return there if we are back in the area.

Nice setting, comfortable bed, nice toiletries but a "snack basket" for breakfast (something about zoning/license)- guess I should have read the fine print.....
I thought I should respond to this review to try and make sure other people don't have this same misunderstanding. These guests apparently stayed in one of the cottages and while they enjoyed the cottage they wanted more in the way of breakfast. We have two different types of places to stay. We have the main inn building which has five inn rooms, plus the restaurant and the brewery. We also have independent stone cottages located about 3 blocks away. We provide different services depending on where you choose to stay. We do this for both practical as well as legal/licensing reasons. In the main building guests come to the guest lounge for a continental plus buffet breakfast. We serve coffee, tea, fruit, juice, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, bread for toasting, cereal and sweets. It is informal and relaxed. Each cottage, on the other hand, is a three room stand alone unit. Each has its own kitchen facilities. We stock each kitchen with coffee, tea, half and half, juice, soda, butter, sugar, salt and pepper. There are pots and pans, dishes, silverware, glasses, etc. When guests check in we give them a “breakfast snack basket.” It has some fruit, some bread for toasting and some sweets. It is kind of a starter package and they can take it from there! The different types of services provided are described in detail on both our web-site as well as in the confirmation e-mail send to each reservation. Hope this helps avoid future confusions. Thanks! Deb

We stayed in Room 6 and found it to be very roomy and bright. The bathroom was huge with a corner whirlpool tub. The room was nicely decorated and homey exceptionally clean gave the appearance of being recently restored. The innkeeper and staff were very pleasant and helpful. We ate dinner in the dining room and found the menu to have many choices and the food to be very good. Enjoyed shopping in Mineral Point and visiting Shake Rag Alley.

Brewery Creek B&B was very enjoyable. Everyone in the Mineral Point, WI community gave this establishment great marks. Other visitors that we encountered were also very pleased with either their accomodations or their meals at Brewery Creek. I have already recommended them to other friends.

Our stay in Mineral Point and Southwest Wisconsin wouldn't have been so refreshing, comfortable and peaceful were it not for the Brewery Creek Inn. We had a cottage room - gorgeous, plenty of space, and the great location. It made the perfect 'home base' for exploring Mineral Point and the whole area. Highly recommended.

This was a great little bed and breakfast. My husband and I were a little nervous about the whole bed and breakfast scenario, but Jeff and Deborah put us right as ease. They were both so nice and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious, and Deborah always had suggestions about the area attractions. Overall it was a really great place to stay particularly for our first time in the area.

My wife and I went there for a weekend of road biking and to see a play at American Players Theater. Road biking is awesome there especially if you like hills. APT just a short scenic drive north. After biking the beer served there tastes great. Good food and friendly staff. Rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable and best of all we got to watch the Tour de France on the tv in our room. Definitely would recommend this place to friends!

We have been to Brewery Creek many times and every time is better than the last. I hate to tell people how great it is, because I want it to be available when we want to go :). Jeff and Deb are awesome and they have really created something special in Mineral Point. you won't be dissapointed. Great for a weekend (or weekday) getaway. Winter is fun too.

For such a small town, I was surprised at how lovely the Inn was. We chose their biggest room to get two beds -- a 4 poster queen and a fold-out sofa. The fold-out actually was comfortable. Very clean, very big bathroom with separate jacuzzi tub and shower. The highlight, though, was the restaurant in the Inn. Fabulous! Terrific menu. Odd as it sounds, the walnut burger (vegetarian) was delicious. It's a small restaurant so expect a wait on Fri and Sat nights. The waitressing service was excellent. They don't skimp on the number of servers. Their chocolate cake with mocha icing -- mmmmm.

We often search for breweris to visit on vacations. This was a major find because we could also stay here. The place was very rustic and fancy at the same time. It would appeal to all who choose to stay here. The beer and food is awesome and the brewery takes advantage of the local businesses for their ingredients. The brewery is within walking distance of the entire town but tucked on a side street that keeps it quiet. We would definitely visit here again.

Had a very good experience with check in and check out. Very friendly and helpful innkeeper. Let us know about what was going on in town for the weekend. Room is very comfortable, very clean. Dinner was good, I think better last time we were there. Fries are always good. Desserts were good. They held dessert for us to eat when we returned from the concert. Nice to have a good wireless internet and TV in the room. Breakfast is always a continental type, but the sweets are very good and very fresh. Weather was cold and rainy, otherwise would have done some more shopping.

My husband and I were excited to try out this Bed and Breakfast as he is a home brewer and what could be better than a Bed and Breakfast brewery? While the room was absolutely fantastic, the bed very comfortable and the whirlpool quite relaxing, I found the food at the restaurant below rather bland, the service quite spacy. Their golden style beer was quite good, but found the others rather average. I also thought that for $185 a night the breakfast was very disappointing. It was clear on the website that the breakfast was continental style which is totally fine, but I was hoping for fresh breads, fruits, yogurts and cheeses - not toast with prepackaged jam, yoplait yogurt and last nights chocolate cake. The town and building are adorable though. Would go back to Mineral Point, but don't know if I'd stay here.

It was a very clean, and personable place to stay. Saturday night when we went downstairs to dine, the dining room was full so we took a couple drinks back to our room and the hostess called when a table was available. The room was very cozy and nicely decorated.

We stayed at the springside duplex cottage owned by the Brewery Creek Inn and very much enjoyed our stay. The cottage included a small kitchen and in general was beautifully decorated, cozy and comfortable. The location couldn't be beat. We stayed on a Sunday night and unfortunately the Brewery Creek restaurant was not open. The only choices for "dining" were a couple of bars with the usual fried food offerings. We had ok hamburgers at the Midway Bar. We very much enjoyed the train station museum which had just opened on May 1 for the season and the pottery store. Not too much else was open this early in the year. Apparently this town is more of a summer only place. A shame because it's a lovely town, but with no good eating options we would not go back in the "off season". We would definately stay at the springside duplex cottage again. Very quiet too.

The Brewery Creek Inn is a beautiful B&B. The rooms are quite exceptional, with unique features and attractive decor. Breakfast consisted of a tasteful selection of pastry, fruit, and tea. The staff was very friendly and helpful, providing us with anything we needed. We appreciated the backdoor available for use. We stayed in room 1, which is a bit noisy in the evening until the restaurant downstairs had closed. Our restaurant experience wasn't as up to par. We waited a tad longer for food, even later in the evening. We weren't served water, or dishes with our appetizer. It was then unfortunate when both of our dishes were lacking flavor. Otherwise the owners' were very friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed our relaxing stay.

We went to Brewery Creek for a quick weekend getaway. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very well kept and interestingly furnished. We didnt have a meal in the restaurant, so I cant really comment on the food. We did have a couple of appetizers and they were good. However, the locally made beer was very good. Overall a very pleasant weekend and I would gladly recommend the Brewery Creek Inn.

Brewery Creek is a great, quaint place just to 'get away from it all'. The rooms and service are second-to-none. The brewpub (restaurant) serves great dishes from steak, fish, chicken, and pasta. If you want a place for some rest and relaxation, visit Brewery Creek Inn. You'll love it.

If only we could have taken some home with us...

We found the room to be spacious and tastefully decorated. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and we stayed on a weeknight so it really seemed like a bargain to us. The food and beer were outstanding and it was fun eating and drinking in the pub, watching locals who obviously adore the place eating drinking, playing euchre and making merry. We had a nice little adventure.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were so impressed with the restoration of the building - what character with the exposed fieldstone on the interior walls, the large exposed timbers in the ceiling, and the craftsmanship to get all the trim to fit so well against the fieldstone walls. All this combined with the comfort of a gas fireplace, delicious pastries for breakfast, and attention to details about what we liked for morning beverages! Deborah was knowledgeable about what was happening that might interest guests, and even found information about Cave of the Mounds tours for us. We would like to return again in warmer weather to enjoy this area in another season.

Well I wanted to surprise the man for his birthday but wanted something that was a nice overnight stay and not too far from Milwaukee. This place exceeded my expectations- food was incredible in the restaurant and the whole place had charm and so warm. The room was excellent. i couldnt have asked for anything better. I definitely will plan a spring/summer stay when the galleries are open and can walk around and shop.

We had a great stay at this place and look forward to coming again soon. The food and beer at the pub were excellent! (We ate both dinner and lunch there.) The breakfast was a simple continental style meal in the upstairs lounge. Everything was fresh and of very good quality (bread, fruit, pastries, etc.) They had everything set up for us when we were ready to eat and checked in a couple of times to make sure everything was to our liking. Our room was clean, interesting, comfortable and quiet. They have done a very fine job with the renovations to this historic building. The owners are friendly and have a very nice and professional staff. Mineral Point is a great town with interesting things to do. Despite visiting during the off-season for many of the galleries and studios, we still had a pleasant stay. This is a great get-away!

We stayed at the Miners Cottage it was very clean and welcoming. We had a very relaxing stay which is what we were looking for just a night away from all the busy holiday activites. We went back to the Brewery for a very nice dinner in a fun atmosphere. The owners gave us a nice basket with bread, fruit and a few goodies for breakfast nice for those that don't need a hot breakfast in the morning. I would recomnd this to my friends and family.

1st time was great at the inn, as we stayed in the inn its self. This time we stayed in Miners Cabin, the 2 fire places were cheap artifical fire lights in the real fire place. the cabin had a cold feeling and the cleanliness was less than satifactory. The town was a great place to visit especially at Christmas time.
It is always difficult to hear that one of our customers was not as happy as we’d like them to be. If we had known during their stay that they did not like the cottage we could have moved them to another place. We truly want everyone who stays with us to enjoy their experience. This particular couple did not enjoy the cottage as much as they, or we, would have liked, and for that we offer our sincere apologies hoping they will come back in the future. I think I should say a couple of words about The Miner’s Cottage itself. It is very old, almost 175 years old, and is owned by the Wisconsin State Historical Society. It has not been updated in the same way as our other buildings. It has a particular kind of quirky charm and raises strong likes and dislikes. It seems that people either love it or don’t. For example, a woman who stayed in the cottage immediately after this couple, for over a week, left a hand written note. I quote: Dear Deborah, Thank you for a wonderful stay at the Miner’s Cottage. I adore being here. It feels just like home. Happy Holidays!”

Perfect place to get away for the weekend. Our room was beautiful, complete with a mock fireplace to keep things warm and a whirlpool. We arrived around dinner time the night before to take advantage of the brew pub downstairs. Awesome menu with plenty of choices, most of it (probably all of it) made with local meat and cheese. Let's not forget they brew their own beer about 20 feet away from where you eat. I recommend the Golden Ale. The only drawback is the price appears to be rather steep compared to other B&B's but once we saw the room, we were happy, and the pictures provided don't do their rooms justice. They're huge! Oh yeah, the breakfast...nice selection of hard boiled eggs, yogurt, some fruit and pastries, though what they offer might change from time to time.

My mother and I rented the Cottage for a 3 night, 4 day stay, and we couldn't be happier! The cottage was comfortable and well appointed, with all the basics stocked in the kitchen. They brought breakfast baskets daily, and while it was all yummy, the bread was to die for, especially toasted! There is a TV in the bedroom, though it was nice unplugging from that. The free Wi-fi worked great. The bed was so comfy my mother didn't want to get out of it in the morning! And it was so cozy - the fireplace stove heated the place up so quick, it took the mid-October chill off immediately, and we didn't even have to run any heat at night. We would both absolutely stay here again, and look forward to doing so!

We planned a one night stay for our anniversary the room was perfect and just as it was described in the information. It was completly quiet and the breakfast the next morning was great. We chose to eat diner there as I had been in the area a few weeks before and ate diner as a trial run before the big weekend. Both dinners we fabulous and I highly recommend the food. I planned the trip as a surprise for my husband. We drove down from Minneapolis through MN, a bit through Iowa and across Wisconsin. It was prime color of the fall and unseasonalbly warm weather. Stayed in Room 1 on the second floor for 3 nights. Everything about the spacious room was comfortable and enjoyable, especially the spa tub and the sofa for two in front of the fireplace. Very clean and well appointed. Breakfasts were delicious though they are not full, but, rather, modified continental. But that was fine with us, because it was all top line items, from the cereal to the hardboiled eggs to the Danish Pastries.

The B&B rooms and buildings around town were cozy and comfortable. As a couple, we enjoyed having a slow-paced weekend away from our typically hectic lives. I was a bit disappointed with the restaurant on site. While the flavor of the food was good, the portions looked like we ordered off a kids meal...not what I expected. Our service in the restaurant was also very slow. We made two visits, one for a couple of drinks at the bar, the other for dinner, and there was no sense of urgency from our servers to make sure we had everything we needed. I was also disappointed with the breakfast. When I stay at a B&B, I always received a freshly cooked breakfast, and this one was just sitting out continental style. Bananas, prepackaged foods, and prepackaged drinks, except the coffee. Our room was very nice and comfortable and clean. We enjoyed having large bathrooms with whirlpool tubs and a fireplace. The only difficult time as at night, as the B&B faces a main road/highway, and a lot of trucks would pass during the night that sounded as if they were in our room. The rooms seemed soundproof from the inside, but not the outside. If people stepped out for a smoke or a walk, we could hear their conversation from our 3rd floor room. Due to the lack of personal interaction and traditional B&B offerings, I feel this felt more like an inn than a B&B.

We stayed before and came back because the location is easy walking distance to dinner or the prairie, its private, not real fancy but quit charming and actually, a quaint little place! I only wish we could stay longer than an over night and perhaps time it right so that we get to see what takes place on the stage at the rear of the property. I also wish for 2 or 3 fresh eggs in the refrig, along with a small pitcher of real cream for the coffee!

The french fries at dinner were "Presidential" - outstanding! We very much enjoyed our short stay and will return. Deborah was gracious and most helpful at breakfast providing maps and helpful advice for our next adventure. My only question has to do with our reservation. We had booked the south facing room on floor two (with two stone walls) but received a room on floor three. I noticed that the room we requested was vacant the next morning when I ate breakfast. Why? a recent stay at the inn was a wonderful experience in a beautifully done building. The Innkeepers were friendly, & very knowledgable, & helpful with the surrounding area for info. for us. The food was excellent, but portions could have been larger. Our room in the Inn was on the same floor where the delicious continental brkfst. was served, in fact a little too close. Room 2 opens up directly ( less than 10ft) from the lounge with table set out for guests. If you do not want to awaken with the other guests congregating there consider your room placement. I would return again & ask for a different location.

We so enjoyed our two night, three day stay at the Springside Cottage. The hosts provided a sweet little breakfast basket of incredible muffins, sourdough bread for toast and fruit each day, and the refrigerator was stocked with sodas, juices, and supplies for coffee or tea and toast. On some of the muggiest days of the summer the cottage was cool and pleasant. Our meal at the pub was outstanding. We would highly recommend Brewery Creek Inn.

A wonderful experience. There were four in our group and we had two rooms, one on the second and the other on the third floor. Both were clean, comfortable and nicely appointed. The artists on the trip were impressed with the stone lithographs appointing the walls. Debby was extremely gracious and friendly. The restaurant staff were helpful and attentive; the cook enthusiastic to say the least. We all enjoyed our dinner (steak and salmon) and the soup of the day was a huge hit, as was the beer, root beer and cream soda brewed on premises. A great place to stay if you plan to take the four hour Estate tour of Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin -- which I also highly recommend.

We celebrated our anniversary and found this place to be a warm and cozy get away. The service was great and the staff was very friendly. The food was all homemade and you can tell they put a lot of effort into pleasing their customers. We had a delightful stay.

We've stayed here twice and loved it both times. It's a charming inn - the rooms are well-decorated, the beds are very comfortable, and breakfast is delicious. The owners Deborah and Jeff make you feel right at home - they are available if you need them, but they are never in your way. If you can, you may want to stay in a room on the 3rd floor as they are quieter, but the ones on the 2nd floor are very nice too.

This is one of the best B&Bs we stay at. The place is outstanding in everything. Everyone is very nice, food is great, the place is very clean, and it's very charming.

We stay at B&Bs several times a year, and this Inn is near the top of our list on all counts. The Inn's historical renovation is exceptional - a lot of attention to details, i.e. one of the walls in our room was the original limestone and the small lights shining on it highlighted its beauty. The room was charming with a gas fireplace, a comfortable four poster bed and the bath had a double whirlpool tub. There was also a reading lamp on each side of the bed -- which is a feature that a lot of B&Bs don't do. Warm and comfortable accomodations in a historical atmosphere. Also, the food in the first floor restaurant was well beyond our expectations. We ended up eating there both nights because it was so good. Highly recommend the Inn for a quiet and soothing weekend getaway. Dennis & Eileen

We really enjoyed our room at the Brewery Creek Inn. We had a lovely fireplace with a comfortable place to read and relax. I enjoyed the in room whirlpool very much as well. The pecan pie that we had for dinner was the best I have ever had.
