Lindsay House B&B

  • Inn Details

This 1892 Victorian is nestled in the lovely town of Manawa, Wisconsin. Eclectic mixes of furnishings old and new are represented in each room. Several of our rooms have hand crafted Queen Size beds, which Tim built. Out in the backyard, numerous examples of nature’s beauty grace our gardens. And if the time is right, a black raspberry treat can be found. Seating choices abound from rocking yourself to sleep on the front porch to remote quiet locations amongst the trees and flowers. The sixteen-room Queen Anne Victorian home designed by W.W. DeLong was built for Wisconsin lumberman Arthur Lindsay, president of the Little Wolf Lumber Company and Lindsay Light & Power. Our home has been upgraded with creature comforts we all covet. There is central heat and air-conditioning throughout the house and private bathrooms for your convenience. As well as WIFI available throughout the house. Business travelers will appreciate the availability of a quiet place to work, and television in each room. A coffee bar is located right outside your door for your convenience. The Lindsay House is a great opportunity for your team to get out of the city for meetings and retreats. The innkeepers, Judy and Tim Trull were married in the Last Frontier of Alaska, while serving in the United States Air Force, Fire Department. They are the proud parents of daughter Morgan, who is a massage therapist. It has been Judy’s dream to run a Bed and Breakfast and her dream was realized in December 2004… and she loves it!

We loved that there were pets in the house (just the downstairs, not in the actual rooms) - they were so cute!

This was our first stay at a B&B and we had a very warm welcome from Judy and Tim, when we got to our room there was a bottle of chilled wine ready for us to celebrate our anniversary. They went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. GREAT gourmet breakfast and always had very pleasing snacks and deserts. We will definitely go back again. Thanks for everything Judy and Tim!

We reserved 2 rooms at the Lindsay House B&B this past weekend, and it exceeded our expectations in every area. The owners, Judy and Tim, accomodated us in every way including adding a roll-away bed for us to allow for a 3rd guest in 1 room. We were treated to homemade brownies and cookies, a variety of teas and coffees, and an amazing breakfast (they even made special accomodations for a few of us to allow for a vegetarian of the breakfast menu). There are special touches like Mary Kay products and fluffy robes in the rooms, and we were able to have breakfast at a time of our choosing. Judy and Tim went above and beyond to make our stay special and memorable. The services and extra touches provided made the Lindsay House one of the nicest B&B's that we have stayed at, and made our trip to Manawa a memorable one!
