What made this visit special were the extra amenities & the hostess. E.g. soft music playing in the room when you opened the door, and anniversary ballroom, card and special treat, the beautiful gardens viewed from the breakfast room, etc.

the mansion is gorgeous and perfectly located to enjoy the lake without needing to drive. Nancy and David, along with the rest of the staff, are delightful. you really feel at home. we would stay here again

The Golden Oaks Mansion is a cozy, beautiful B&B. You feel like you're at home when you stay there. They make you feel like family. I recommend everyone to stay here.
