A wonderful place to stay. Everything you could want and more. Never will stay in a hotel again when near LaCrosse. Food was amazing and service was great. They really take care of you here.

My husband and I stayed at this cute little B & B this past weekend. We were taking a Wisconsin getaway from Chicago and found this little gem. Our main attraction was the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe. This place is right across the street from it! The downtown of La Crosse is about a 5 minute drive and we ate at a yummy restaurant called the Freight House. The home is quaint, a little blast from the past with it's unique ambiance and most of all the Innkeepers are really friendly and pleasant to talk with. They serve breakfast and it is delish! We would reccomend this resting place to anyone who wants a little quiet getaway in a pretty location- rolling hills and beautiful in the fall! -Bostics of Chicago

Four Gables B&B is a diamond in the beautiful LaCrosse bluffs! Nancy and Jerry were wonderful, very hospitable and warm hosts to us. They have great attention to detail! Our room was cozy and very clean. And scrumptious breakfasts and nightly bed turndowns with chocolate/liquor treats were provided. Nancy even gave us a few of her heirloom tomato seedlings. Thank you for a stay home away from home, Nancy & Jerry! It is the getaway that we needed away from the hustle and bustle of regular life.

This B&B was the most beautiful B&B that the owner were the most friendliest people I had ever met. It almost made me feel like I was part of their family.

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying in the Roses and Ribbon room at the Four Gables B&B. The room was lovely and quiet and the bathroom had a large whirlpool. The separate sitting room on the second floor was warm and inviting, and it was nice to sit in the morning and enjoy our coffee there. Jerry and Nancy were wonderful hosts, and the breakfast that they prepared deserved a four star rating! Our morning conversations with Jerry were delightful. Overall, my husband and I highly recommend the Four Gables B&B, the prices are reasonable and this B&B offers a unique experience that a regular hotel can not offer.

We were first time B&B customers and had an amazing time. They truly make you feel like family from the moment you check in until the moment you check out. The service is amazing and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The atmosphere is perfect for relaxation. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast for anyone that would like to just get away and relax. The Breakfast is unbelievable and the special turn down at night is a wonderful touch.

My husband and I wanted to go ride the bike trails in Sparta so we chose a B&B in the LaCrosse area. The location is beautiful with lovely landscaping. The upstairs area of the B&B is for the guests, however, the downstairs sitting area is also open. We stayed in the room with the queen size bed and shower. The decor was lovely and very clean. The bathroom was also very nice with a sit-down shower. There was only 2 things I would do to improve the room. The bed was very firm so I had a hard time getting comfortable. There is no television in the room, so if you want to just lay back and relax in your room and watch a movie, you can't do that. There is a library located centrally between the 3 rooms. It has a tv (old tube type) with basic cable (no dvd or vcr player), a computer with wireless internet (although I couldn't get my laptop to connect) and a small collection of books (mostly war/military themed). We spent most of our time out and about in LaCrosse so the amenities weren't a huge deal for us. Where Four Gables excels in all aspects is the service and dining. Jerry and Nancy were wonderful hosts. Nancy is an increble cook. Breakfast is a 4 course meal (and never the same twice). It's like eating at a 4 star restaurant. They set the dining room with the best china and linens and Jerry serves the meals (and doesn't let your cup or glass go empty when you need something to drink). The best part of the meal is that after everyone has finished eating, Jerry will come sit down and you can have a wonderful conversation about the area, places to go and see, war stories, whatever you would like to discuss. If you are looking for a great place to simply rest and have a wonderful breakfast, this is a great place to go. If you looking for a place to hang out and relax, you should plan on bringing a book or something else to entertain yourself.

We wanted a special place to go to celebrate our 13th anniversary and we wanted LaCrosse because we had spent our honeymoon there. Such a pleasure to stay at this beautiful house that was so beautifully furnished. Our bed was comfortable and we came in to find a silver try with cordial and chocolate truffle. The next morning we had a four course breakfast starting with fruit and rhuburb nut muffins, crab quiche and even dessert. When we came downstairs to find their fabulous dining room and the table elegantly set for the two of us it was so incredible. The price was very reasonable and we also liked the fact that there were no children so we could have a nice quiet relaxing time. Both Jerry and Nancy were very gracious and outgoing with conversation. We will definitely be back as soon as we can arrange it.

Our late arrival was accommodated and greeted with cordials & chocolate – yum! We were pleasantly surprised to discover the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe just across the way. Each morning’s breakfast was a delight with dessert included!! Enjoying the library and kitchenette upstairs made our room seem more like a suite. Jerry and Nancy are wonderful hosts.

This is a lovely place to stay. The innkeepers have lots of info to share with travelers. It was the best breakfast of our entire 2 1/2 week trip out west.

This B+B is just the best we have stayed in for many years. Our only wish not met was for a room with both shower and tub. The rooms have either shower or tub but not both. The atmosphere, furnishings, and friendliness are all outstanding. Jerry went out of his way to make us comfortable, and Nancy's cooking was divine!!! We have it at the top of our return list for sure.

My husband and I stayed at Four Gables on a cold Saturday night in January, but it was only chilly outside. Our accommodations were handsomely appointed and cozy. Every detail, right down to the little rubber ducky by the whirlpool tub, was thoughtful. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and served in high style. And our hosts, the Jorgensens, could not have been more warm - even in January.

If you like B&B's and are looking to stay in the LaCrosse area, this is the place you want to stay. The facility itself, a restored farmhose, is simply beautiful. The attention to detail with the antique decor is exceptional, yet very homey. The best part of your stay, however, is the hospitality of your innkeepers, Jerry and Nancy Jorgensen. Lovely people. You will be treated to a fantastic, gourmet-style multi-course breakfast cooked by Nancy and served with a smile by Jerry. Our two night stay was well worth the expense, making this B&B an excellent value. We whole-heartedly endorse the Four Gables as a place to stay in LaCrosse.
