- Our signature dish is Wild Rice & Cranberry Pudding
Instead of bland hot cereals, we combine the bounty of the north woods with that of the dairy state to create a hot, baked pudding of Native American grown wild rice from nearby, fresh cream and local cranberries, seasoned with fresh-grated nutmeg & cinnamon and lightly sweetened with pure maple syrup from local forests. This dish is part of a two course breakfast that starts with fresh baked-from-scratch muffins, the aroma filling the inn each morning; fresh fruit; orange juice - never from concentrate; and coffee or tea. It's served with a side of sausage, sometimes Sweedish potato sausage. It's just one of our guests' many favorites.
