Innkeeper Response
Thank you for sharing your comments. It was great having you here. I have installed a new charcoal pre-filter on the HEPA filter system in the den/library to better protect folks from any scent from the one and only room in which we permit smoking; and will check that more regularly. As you know, we ask our guests not to smoke in any of the sleeping rooms nor in any of the rooms on the first floor. I hope this step will make things even more comfortable for everybody who would like to share our hospitality.

A hearty, two-course breakfast gets your day off to a delicious start.Eggs Benedict is a favorite among the many tasty and hearty breakfasts we prepare for you each morning. Awaken to the aroma of fresh baked muffins each day.
Winter fun starts with cozy lodging right here. Centrally located between the major ski resorts, 140 km of cross country trails, and right on the snowmobile trail system makes this a great headquarters for snow fun; where we average 204+ inches of snow each year.
The Game Keepers Room features a bronze queen bed with high thread-count sheets, private bath and WIFI.With a standard double bed & private bath, the Lotta Morgan Room reflects a bit of Hurley's bordello past while offering you a comfortable place to relax.
Our largest room is the Northern Exposure Room with a queen bed, full private bath, high thread-count sheets, plush towels and an outdoor deck for warm weather months. In warm weather, the inn is surrounded by gardens, including an apple tree and a micro vineyard. We use the apples & grapes for tasty treats for breakfast. This inn is Travel Green Wisconsin certified.
The library features a collection of antique maps, 500 volumes and premium cable television with On Demand. Rooms also have Ethernet high speed cable connections and the entire inn offers free WiFi.
