On a wooded hillside high above, but adjacent to, the Otter Creek is this spacious three-story English Tudor Inn. Inside is an inviting, romantic, antique-filled Country-Victorian decor. Each guestroom has a private restroom with shower, a double whirlpool, TV, VCR, CD player, and coffeemaker. Many guestrooms also have a gas fireplace and mini-frig. Breakfast-in-bed is a specialty and the breakfast menu allows a choice of entrees and serving times. The one acre wooded setting is located within the city limits, close to numerous restaurants and shops, and just 1 1/2 hours southeast of the St. Paul/Minneapolis area. A bike trail crosses the property.

This was our first experience with a bed and breakfast, but definitely not our last! We were pleasantly surprised with the room, the staff and the service we received. The most relaxing stay we've ever had! Breakfast was TERRIFIC as well. We would highly recommend Otter Creek to our friends and family.

The Otter Creek Inn is a great place for a getaway in Eau Claire area. It is close to many great dining options for dinner and the breakfast menu was superb. The rooms were nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable! Will be returning soon!

The room was perfect with lots of little details that say that the owners really went the extra mile. There were choices for breakfast which was awesome for us since we have a little less adventuresome pallets and have gone hungry in the face of overly enthusiastic chefs. There was also a choice of being served breakfast in your room or in the common area which meant we had the dining room to ourselves and missed the social aspect of a b&b.

I stay here when traveling to Eau Claire area on business. It is such a pleasure to be pampered at such a delightful place. The breakfasts are great and delivered right to your door at the time you request, piping hot. I have only met Randy and he is accomodating and friendly.

This inn has incredible history and is a pure delight. Close to downtown but when in the inn, you feel you are out in quiet country.

We were greeted at the door and instantly treated like an old friend coming to visit. Even though there are other rooms, we felt as though we had the whole place to ourselves. They have thought of everything from providing corkscrews for wine bottles to an excellent selection of older movies to the ability to dim the lights for a romantic setting by the fireplace or in the hot tub. I will be recommending Otter Creek Inn to all of my friends as well as planning another stay myself.

From Interstate 94, take the exit for Highway 53 to the north (Exit #70). Proceed north on Highway 53 (not Business 53)approximately 2.5 miles. Take Exit #87 for Clairemont Avenue (also known as Highway 12)and turn east (right) onto Clairemont Avenue. Almost immediately move into the left-hand lane and then into the left-hand turn lane. This is the turn in to the Otter Creek Inn, which is on the north side of the road. If you reach the stoplight at 10th Street and see the golf course and country club on the right, you have gone too far and just missed us.
