James Street Inn
James Street Inn - The river runs through it! Walking through the arched brick entrance into the lobby and parlor you realize that you are sharing a place in history. The foundation in this part of the building dates back to 1858 when it was built as a stone flour mill, but the builiding site dates back to 1671 when Father Claude Allouez built the first permanent mission house here. Our suites are literally over the river with views of the De Pere lock and dam, and old mill race. Complimentary evening wine and cheese and "Continental Plus" breakfast can be enjoyed in our homey parlor.
