First time at a B&B. Very clean and many amenities. Happy it is a "green" B&B. Very friendly innkeepers. Beyond excellent breakfast served in the room. Highly recommend the Ana room. Only minus is the proximity of the room to the kitchen (where they are cooking thus not as private during the beginning and end of stay).

We discovered this beautiful B&B 7 years ago, and it exceeds our expectations with every visit. Hanson House, and innkeepers Duke & Mary Jane, are simply wonderful. Easy drive from Chicagoland, spotlessly clean, gorgeous Victorian mansion, breakfasts better than any restaurant, and a warm & cozy atmosphere. Luxury accommodations with A+innkeepers in a charming little town make Hanson House a perfect spot to relax and reconnect. I very highly recommend!!

Our stay at the Oscar Hanson House was fabulous. The Innkeepers, Duke and Mary Jane, were so friendly and thoughtful. Our room was beautiful, our every need met. I have food allergies and a wonderful breakfast was made to accommodate my needs. Breakfast is served in your room which is a wonderful touch, allowing you to spend your precious time away in the company of each other.
