The Hillcrest Inn: journey to a 1908 four-acre, wooded estate that combines the nostalgic memories of yesteryear with the luxurious amenities today's bed and breakfast travelers find most appealing. Enter the property through the original fieldstone posts and follow the curving drive until the panoramic view unfolds before you. Built on the crest of a hill, this inn has one of the spectacular views in southeastern Wisconsin. Hillcrest is an Edwardian estate where you can enjoy the refurbished beauty of the original craftsmanship such as maple floor, mahogany beamed ceilings and leaded glass windows. Every room has a tasteful blend of furnishings, accents and antiques that make them distinctive. We offer a romantic and secluded setting, overlooking gently flowing rivers and distant hills. My husband and I enjoyed our stay in the carriage house very much. The room was lovely and breakfast was superb. Our only real complaint was how much sound carried from the other rooms. We could hear every step the other guest upstairs took. Overall our stay was wonderful and we will likely go back for another visit in the future.

Mike and Gayle are SO accommodating! The Inn is completely charming and the attention to detail really shows. LOVED my claw foot soaking tub in the Avondale room!

Gayle and Mike were great hosts, very friendly. The Windemere suite was excellent. Very clean and nicely decorated. The property is well kept and landscaped. Breakfast was unique and delicious. Definitely would stay again.

My husband and I spent our seventh anniversary at Hillcrest. Mike and Gayle were terrific hosts. We plan on staying there again when in the area.
