Exit from airport on Highway 5, pick up I-35E and follow it north from Minneapolis to Duluth, MN. Exit east on US 2. Follow 2 to its intersection with US 13 west of Ashland, WI. Take 13 north about 17 miles to where it meets Hatchery Road, south of Bayfield. Bear left on Hatchery and go to the first driveway on the right, fire number 84100, turn right and follow driveway to the house.

Batter of eggs, milk and flour is added to a cast-iron skillet and baked for about 28 minutes, creating a "puffed-up" pancake. Served with fresh fruit--strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, nectarines in season--or with frozen berries from the summer harvest, or the best available fresh fruit, in the off season. Pure maple syrup and powdered sugar also are served to enhance this dish.
Policies - Minimum stay required (Seasonally from May 16th-October 31st, 2 night minimum with Saturday booking)

- Deposit amount required (For a 1-night stay, 50% of the rate, by check. For all other stays, a check in the amount of the first night's stay.)
