The Residenz Bed & Breakfast
The Residenz Bed & Breakfast is a beautiful Queen Anne Victorian mansion, built in 1891 by Wisconsin senator C.A. Lamoreux. We invite you to experience Victorian elegance and hospitality in this beautifully restored and decorated home, which has five lovely bedrooms. The carefully chosen antiques throughout the house will delight you and the gracious hospitality will bring you back to an era when life moved at a more reasonable pace. From Minneapolis, travel West on 494/5 to 35W North. 35W will merge with 35E, becoming US 35 just south of Forest Lake, MN. Continue North on 35 towards Duluth, MN. In Duluth, take the Highway 2 East exit towards Superior, Wisconsin. Drive through Superior, and continue on Highway 2 East to the town of Ashland, Wisconsin. In Ashland, turn right (south) on Chapple Avenue. On Chapple Avenue, travel south to the intersection of Chapple Avenue and 8th Street. The Residenz is on the Northeast corner of the intersection.
