    Wonderful!

    June 05, 2013

My husband and I decided to see our son perform in a symphony orchestra concert at Lawrence University. We needed a place within walking distance of campus. We rode our motorcycles and needed a place to store them for the night. Franklin Street Inn was able to accommodate all of our needs. Our room was spotless. Breakfast was delicious! I can't wait to stay there again!

    Excellant service!

    May 25, 2013

My husband and I had a really great time at the Franklin Street Inn B&B. We had really great service as the owner made sure we knew all of the great ammenities our room had to offer. The owner gave us a great recommendation for dinner and we had one of the best meals I've ever had! I'd highly recommend staying here. It's really close to downtown Appleton where your able to walk to all of the nightly/daily attractions. I thought the room was very neatly put together and kept in excellant shape. There were little notes and fun "games" to play while you where there. Breakfast was delivered to our room and tasted delicious! Definitely go here!

    Better than going home again

    May 20, 2013

I used to ride my bike around this area when I was a teen, so coming back for a family memorial some forty years later, I'm amazed at what a restored Victorian jewel has been teased out of homes that back in the day were kind of past their prime, not very impressive, just on the way from here to there. It turns out these homes have quite a history, as well as beautifully restored wood work. Its tastefully and comfortably furnished, pleasant to the eye. I only have one caution: if you are someone who prefers common place breakfasts like link sausages with a pile of toast, let Judy and Ron know well in advance, because otherwise, you will be treated to a gourmet work of art. (They'll call and ask about what you like and dislike, can eat and can't eat anyway).

    Wonderful Weekend Getaway

    March 06, 2013

We had a wonderful weekend at the Franklin Street Inn! Judy was such a great hostess and made us feel right at home the minute we walked through the door. The Suite (Turret) was amazing, clean and relaxing! We felt so pampered! Breakfast was brought up every morning exactly when we wanted it. Judy was so gracious enough to make things with my Gluten Free bread and it was absolutely amazing! Thank you for a wonderful stay Ron and Judy! We will definitely be back!

    Spectacular

    February 19, 2013

Very nice historically preserved home, well maintained, and very clean. A step back to the past. The turret room is very spacious - taking up the entire third floor. Breakfast in the turret in the morning sun is quite the experience and the food was well prepared and unique but customized menu (my wife has many food allergies which Judy was very very accommodating). Excellent service and location.
