There are many great homes in this area. Although our home is truly a retreat. I once wanted to own a spa and the closest I have come is adding endless amenities. The grounds are beautifully landscaped allowing for a walking meditation admiring the wonders of nature. Using our outdoor walking labyrinth calms your mind as you weave into the center and out. Adjacent is the hot tub to soak your weary bones. The outdoor living room cabana is equipped with a gorgeous stone fireplace. A glass of wine and the flames of a fire are a great way to end a summers day. Lounge by the heated pool and or revitalize in the sauna, you choose. Here you will reconnect to your mind , body and spirit. If you are committed to health and wellness our state of the art Cybex equipment will keep you on track. Some hotel gyms do not compare. We have a king size bed, full size bed, and three twin beds on the second floor. The living room has a pullout couch. There are two full size futons in the studio above the gym and the enclosed porch. The only question you will be asking yourself each day is which means should I use today to relax? Perhaps take a bath in the claw foot tub surrounded by candles in the master bedroom? Or indulge in a steam shower? Or lounge on the deck off the master bedroom? Charming, historic, colonial, circa 1835, situated on two secluded acres overlooking the Hudson River. Originally built as a barn, then it became a hat factory, then back to a barn. it was eventually converted to a private home toward the end of the 1800’s. The noted actor Rex Harrison lived here in the 1950’s. A large garden, with a POOL and Poolhouse, are sheltered by an overhanging cliff that overlooking the river. A BICYCLE and a RUNNING path that joins Piermont and Nyack (both interesting little towns with wonderful RESTAURANTS and ANTIQUES) are accessible from the back yard. Two beautiful CATS and two small pomeranian dogs share the home with the B’nb hostess, who works as a real estate agent selling residential & commercial, properties and businesses. Other interests include computers, business consulting, organizing, the performing arts, interior decorating, and gardening RIVERVIEW is located along the Hudson River, in Rockland County, New York, near the Tappan Zee Bridge and four miles north of the New Jersey border. Our Piermont location is a recently updated three bedroom accommodation five minutes from our South Nyack location. It is available for short & long-term corporate rentals as well as for bed and breakfast. The neighborhood has some charming historic homes, that take you back to an earlier time. We are located on the Wepawaug River where you can enjoy nature from our gazebo or lawn swing. The front entrance features a rose walk and an English Garden. You can take a short walk to scenic waterfalls, visit an historic 1639 cemetery, or stroll through historic downtown Milford. Our downtown offers many exciting shops, restaurants and coffee houses, the Eastbound Theatre and frequent craft fairs on the Green. Our home offers six guest rooms, three with private baths. This is a smoke free environment and all guest rooms are scent free for guests with allergies. Rooms are decorated with a Victorian flair and hat collections enhance the decor.
