"A Very Nice inn - well located in an attractive town"

"Wilmington Inn and Tavern A very nice inn, well located in the cute town of Wilmington. Our room (The Wilmington Room) was spacious and comfortable the food was truly exceptional and John and Rachel were excellent hosts. John was particularly helpful in checking out our onward route along the devastated Route 100. Happily the road crews had worked so hard that the whole of Route 100 was driveable by the time we left. The main dining room is wood panelled and very cosy. We ate in the inn both evenings and had two of the best meals in our whole vacation. On one of the nights a singer/guitarist performed as well and it made a memorable evening. There are a few little bits of maintenance that need attention but it would be ridiculous to criticise this when the owners have been trying so hard to help less fortunate residents in the town in the aftermath of Hurricane Irene. The town itself is coming back slowly to life and we very much hope that it will soon be thriving again. Overall – highly recommended. Bryan and Ann D. UK "
