Romance and relaxation in Stowe's oldest guest house. Built in 1824, by the first couple married in Stowe, this colonial home with wraparound porch and adjacent Carriage House, ca.1796, is named for the overflow of the mountain spring water supply. In Winter, it freezes into a towering ice sculpture, a local landmark. Newly renovated with antique and modern furnishings the Inn features King and Queen rooms with private baths, some with gas fireplaces and cable TV/DVD. Rooms have fresh flowers and homemade candies. Baths have hair dryers, plush robes, large fluffy towels and lovely bath amenities. A hot tub, heated pool in Summer, mountain views and surrounding perennial gardens make this an ideal setting for romance, relaxation and renewal.

Perhaps the most elegant and peaceful Vermont Inn we have seen! This historic mansion,located just south of Montpelier, has been beautifully restored to its original Victorian elegance. Once occupied by a princess, it is tastefully decorated with period furnishings, orientals, antiques, brass and carved wood beds with luxurious Eurpoean down bedding and private baths. We were served a unforgetable, multi-course gourmet breakfast, including fresh fruit, homemade hot granola, and then a main course. All this at a table aglow with interesting conversation, International guests, and a breathtaking view of the Green Mountains. We are Vermont's only B&B to provide en suite a Two Person Jacuzzi, Steam Bath, Two Person Rain Shower, outside hot tub, 4 fireplaces and 5 rooms to a single guest party. Visitors to Vermont are fortunate to have a wide selection of lodging accommodations. If however you are looking for complete privacy then your selection is narrowed to those establishments that have only a single guest party at a time, of which there are very few. We are far more then a home renting a single room to guests. Our goal is to provide resort quality accommodations, amenities and breakfast meals, in a completely private environment. We offer a spacious 5 room suite with the bedroom containing a King size bed, gas fireplace, two person Jacuzzi, two person rain shower, steam bath, sub-floor radiant heat, sitting area, ceiling fan, refrigerator and microwave. The Sun room contains a gas fireplace, sleeper sofa, ceiling fans and views of the courtyard and stream. The living room contains a wood fireplace, sleeper sofa, large screen TV with cable, ceiling fans, sub-floor radiant heat and views out the large picture windows. The tower room contains a gas fireplace, sitting area and views in all 4 directions. The courtyard deck contains a two person hot tub, with seasonal views of the stream for the exclusive use of our single guest party. Explore and enjoy our 28 acres containing numerous gardens and garden sitting areas, walkways along the stream leading to the waterfalls and natural swimming hole. There are two decks for the exclusive use of our guests. The absolute privacy is perfect for honeymooners, anniversary celebrations and folks just looking to get away from it all. No matter if you are a single, couple, or family, you can enjoy the privacy and amenities offered by our B and B in a country setting, and hop in the car to reach many of Vermont's "Big City" activities or ski slopes in less then a half hour.

Windekind, where human creativity and nature meet, features two highly finished self-catering country cottages. Each cottage has a full kitchen, bath(s), living room, bedroom, library and entertainment center with DVD capability and satellite television. The cottages are surrounded by classic farm buildings, meadows, ponds, a brook, stonewalls, lawns, a miniature railroad and nine gardens. The grounds are directly linked it to an extensive network of hiking, Nordic skiing and snowshoe trail’s many of which pass through adjacent Camel’s Hump State Park. The 120-acre farm is hidden away in its own south facing upland valley with a view down the spine of the Green Mountains. Just 35 minutes to Burlington and Lake Champlain, near Stowe and Waitsfield.

The two stately historic buildings which are the home of The Inn at Montpelier were built in the early 1800's. Both buildings are classically Federal in design and as is typical of New England architecture, have been added to on several different occasions. The extravagant wraparound Colonial Revival porch added to the yellow building is a prominent landmark in a row of gracious townhouses built by the founders of Montpelier. In creating The Inn at Montpelier, great care has been given to retaining architectural details - the Greek and Colonial Revival woodwork, the ten fireplaces, the gracious front staircases, the glass fronted china cupboards, to name a few, have all been preserved. The Inn is a part of Montpelier's National Historic District and takes us back to an era of gracious living.

George Reynolds built this house in 1892 and it remained in his family until 1995 when it was first transformed into a local Bed and Breakfast. Don and Terry O'Donnell purchased the house in October of 2002 and are dedicated to keeping the house close to its original construction. While enjoying your stay you will notice that most of the house has the original moldings, windows and pocket doors all specifically constructed or crafted for the house. The central location of the Reynolds house makes it ideal for guests to branch out in any direction to see and experience the sites and history of Vermont while staying in a beautifully built and maintained family home.
