Nestled on four acres of aged Burr Oaks and stately Jack Pines, this intimate country inn welcomes you to life in rural Western Wisconsin. Located in Wisconsin’s Coulee Country, visitors enjoy the beauty of the hills and valleys combined with friendly, small-town atmosphere of the Whitehall area. Every season provides unique experiences for the fortunate traveler who passes our way. A bike ride or drive on the winding roads through nearby valleys, where Amish practice traditional lifestyles, will take you back through time to the 1800's. Steven and Linda invite you to experience a gentler era at the Oak Park Inn and Historic Hopkins House.

We had a nice stay after a busy week. Great breakfast and nice conversation. I forgot an item and the owners texted me immediately. Great place to stay.

Owners were very nice people--my stay was because of a sad family event, but I am hoping to revisit the Inn again during warmer months and for a happier occasion. I am unable to rate dining because I did not eat there.

Had to use the B&B under sad circumstances but we were welcome with warmth and called by our first names. Rooms are cozy and breakfast was delish and the conversation even better as we learned history of the area. Would definitely recommend a stay.

The Oak Park Inn is a really nice B&B located in Whitehall, WI. I arrived fairly late in the evening, but the innkeeper was available and checked me right in. The price was amazingly low for this cute B&B. It had several small buildings on site, I stayed in one of the carriage houses which had small bedroom with a queen bed, living area, kitchenette, and private bathroom. Unfortunately I could not stay for breakfast, but I imagine it would have been delicious!

The owners went out of their way to learn every guests' name, and provided friendly service seldom seen anymore these days. The Oak Park is an unexpected small town gem. Highly recommended for anyone staying in the area.

Needed a local place to stay and this filled the ticket very well. If you come in the summer, enjoy the beautiful woodland grounds, but bring the mosquito spray. Very accommodating owners who can fill you in on most all of the local story.

Having travelled extensively in USA we have never stayed at a gust house, what a rest awaited us! Lovely gardens and house, warm welcome from Linda and lovely clean room with very homey feel and very clean! Gardens were lovely and we really enjoyed the rockers! Breakfast was plentiful and varied and Steve and Linda great company! As English guests we felt very welcomed and would not hesitate to recommend oak park inn or if we are lucky enough to visit Wisconsin again would head straight back! Thank you Steve and Linda you are great hosts!

Linda Mossman and Steven Sendele
Linda has always dreamed of living in a historical home and enjoys gardening and decorating. Steven continues to work outside the inn, but is always available on the week-ends to entertain the guests. Both enjoy sharing the history of their country inn with guests and pointing out the unique features of the grounds and private cemetary.
