My wife and I returned to this Bed and Breakfast for a visit to getaway for a while and enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the Canyon Road Inn setting. As always, Turner was the perfect host and provided us with a splendid weekend with the opportunity to hike the area around the lake and explore the snow covered scenery. It was cold, but the views and wildlife in the area made it exciting. The fireplace in the room added the cozy touch to warm by with a glass of wine to relax and unwind. Breakfast was spectacular with the most enjoyable flavors and hospitality imaginable. I stayed at many B&Bs across the country and this is by far the best I've encountered. Will definitely be back soon!

Very nice B&B clean, well maintained, modern but tastefully rustic. Much to offer onsite such as use fishing if you desire, campfire, canoes beautiful view of the lake and hiking trails. The owners are very welcoming and breakfasts were terrific. The only downside was the time of year conoes were not available and the fire ring was under water and local activities were minimal. Of course the owners no control over this however, given the nighly rate, I think off season rates would be more appropriate. All in all a nice place to stay.

We stayed one night, our room was beautiful. We walked through the woods for about 2 hours, very scenic. The service was great, food was great. This was our first time trying a bed and breakfast and we certainly enjoyed the atmosphere.

We stayed here after our wedding reception in the haven suite. The bed was beyond comfortable and the suite was newly updated and very nice. We had a delicious breakfast served by the hosts who were very personable and accommodating. There is even canoes and walking trails nearby, and we spent the morning exploring the trails before we checked out. Loved our stay and would highly recommend it!

Canyon Road Inn is tucked away on a rustic road. The grounds were beautiful. We walked every trail and spent some time in the gazebo by the lake. The lake is perfect for viewing wildlife and canoeing. The hosts Turner and Patti were very congenial and gave excellent recommendations for places to hike and visit in the area. This is a must stay place!

This was our first time at this BB. I booked it solely based on the reviews and serene pictures. This place did not disappoint. Everything was so clean. The sheets were amazing! The bed was like sleeping on a cloud (or what I envision sleeping in a cloud would be like), the robes...I did not want to get out of my robe. This was perfect for our honeymoon because we were able to do nothing. We took walks around the property. We went into town (which isnt much) and went to the thrift store and another store that had odds and ends. Turner is very knowledgeable about what is around and he had very good suggestions about places to visit. I cant wait to go back!! Next time I want to go when theres snow so we can cozy up in front of the fireplace. Oh, breakfast was DELICIOUS! and so was the coffee :)

My husband & I spent a wonderful three days at a top notch inn. You can tell both Patti & Turner are proud of the Canyon Road Inn & make your stay a memorable one! After viewing their website, which is very well done, we made reservations. The inn is located in Northern Wisconsin, & nestled in a wooded area. Nice to find in inn that is easy to find & well marked! We were greeted by Turner & met Patti the following day! These hosts are genuinely interested in their guests & happy to meet the needs of their guests. Rooms were immaculate, & it was wonderful having a Keurig coffee maker in your room! The breakfasts were sensational & were served family style at the table. So often inns serve large portions & it was a welcome change to serve yourself. Always plenty of food! Plenty of places to visit close by, & we highly recommend the Dancing Dragonfly Winery! Excellent wines. Plenty of hiking trails & canoes are available to paddle around the lake. Cranes, otters, geese, herons, & loons could be seen from our room. We had a simply marvelous stay! The only disappointment was that my husband is an avid cyclist & no cable was available to watch the Tour Dr France! Not a problem for me! Thank you for such a wonderful experience Patti & Turner! We had a chance to rest & relax. This inn is one of the top three on our list & we will be back!

We have stayed at Canyon Road many times on our anniversary. We're never disappointed. The natural setting gives it a beauty and peace that's not easily found other places. The amenities, food, and hosts are top shelf.
