After the decision to actually TAKE a weekend away without the kids, the next question was where to go. We only take word of mouth recommendations when it comes to stuff like this and we were NOT disappointed! The room was perfect, location was awesome - less than a tank of gas from home! Hosts were lovely and the food was great! I'm not a 'breakfast' person, but I ate it all! will definitely be recommending to family & friends! THANK YOU for everything!

Canyon Road Inn was more than we expected. Breakfast was awsome, room was spotless, place was easy to find yet felt like we were in middle of wood secluded from the city.

The time spent at this B&B was a luxury. The room was spacious, very comfortable, and provided numerous amenities that made the stay very nice! The scenery in the immediate vicinity was an additional plus that made the evening and morning perfect. And the breakfast...wow! I plan to schedule many more trips to Canyon Road Inn.

My wife and I had been meaning to stay at this property for some time and finally got the chance earlier this month. What a treat! Our suite was spacious with a private bath. Even in the dead of winter, the property was well maintained and scenic. If you are looking for a cozy getaway, this place is perfect.

It was our first time at a B&B. The room we had was cozy and homey, did not feel anything like a hotel! The owners were helpful and friendly. The setting, down a windy county road had a great getaway feel. We only stayed one night, but it sure would have been great to unwind some more.

As always, Patti and Turner offer a magical respite from the busyness and chaos of our daily lives. And our stay was a celebration of sorts as I had just retired from my full time job of 23 years! It was a wonderful 3 days and nights with warm and gracious hosts, fabulous and delicious breakfasts and welcoming warm cookies (and snacks), and things to do in the area and at their property. Just a terrific place to relax and let the world go by! This was our fourth time at Canyon Road Inn and will be our only place to go for a wonderful place to re-connect and reload. Patti and Turner are excellent hosts. The meal served was the best we experienced at B & Bs this year. Accomodations were very clean and cozy. Wicker rockers were nice but I would have enjoyed a comfy loveseat in front of the fire. We will be going back to the Canyon Road Inn.

What a wonderful way to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy nature and a quiet and serene atmosphere. We stay here every year and Patti and Turner could ot be nicer and more helpful.

I planned a weekend getaway for my husband's birthday. I wanted the experience to be special and decided to stay at a B&B instead of our regular hotel decisions. Canyon Road was a bit out of our way but I couldn't resist how lovely the pictures looked so I decided to give it a try. We were AMAZED! I didn't expect much seeing as its a remote location in a non-touristy area. I was blown away. Patti and Turner were wonderful and very accommodating. Their house is beautiful and the location has so much to offer...trails to explore and even a small lake to canoe on! I am pretty sure our bed was made of clouds. And the additional amenities such as the basket of cookies, comfy robes, game and movie selections made our stay even more enjoyable. I will visit Canyon Road every time I am in the area.

Great hidden treasure in Turtle Lake, Wisconsin. A beautiful setting in the woods that offers peace and tranquility. Patti & Turner were very accommodating and provided great detail in each room. A wonderful and tasty breakfast that included gluten free. Would definitely recommend this hidden treasure to anyone who is looking for a beautiful scenery and peace and quiet!
