The property is beautiful with excellent history, the rooms are really nice and the food was excellent. We stayed in the Master Bedroom and the only thing we found to be a negative was how soft and creaky the bed was. Other than that, everything was taken care of and it exceeded my expectations! Thank you!
Thank you for taking time when life is so busy and writing a wonderful review of our B&B. We look forward to your return.

We had the opportunity to stay at the Franklin Victorian B&B this past week and it was wonderful! The owner was very welcoming and was happy to share the history of the building with us. The building is a treasure with it's original woodwork, fireplaces & character. We enjoyed a fantastic breakfast as well.
Thank you for the kind review! We love doing whatever we can to make your stay here as relaxing as possible!

We enjoyed all the fall colors and the beautiful countryside. Good restaurants nearby for lunch & dinner. People were very friendly everywhere we went. The guests at the Inn were all very nice and interesting to talk with. Our gracious hosts were very helpful, informative and made us feel at home. We look forward to our next visit.
Thank you for the kind review! Fall season is so pretty around here and we are happy you were about to come and enjoy the color and you stay with us here. Hope you see you again soon.

Despite the rain and gloomy weekend weather our stay ant Franklin Victorian B and B was wonderful! The room was beautiful, clean, and there were so many little extras- candy, a little bottle of wine, homemade cookies, coffee in the room and in the hall. The breakfast was wonderful and so delicious and very hearty! The entire home is beautiful and so well cared for by the hosts. You can tell they really enjoy serving their guests. This was our second visit and we'd love to go back again!
No gloom or rain will keep our guests from having a good time while they stay with us. Rain or shine we can keep you busy in the area and other towns in the area. Thank you for the nice review and taking the time out of your busy day!

We picked FV based on other excellent reviews and were not disappointed. Jennifer helped plan the extra details which made this marriage engagement weekend even more special. Jennifer and Steve are very kind and suburb hosts in their beautiful house.
WOW were we excited too! We were glad to help and see you back on an Anniversary!

This lovely B&B is a stone's throw from the center of town (Sparta--biking capital of the Americas), 30 minutes from the heart of cranberry growing country (we walked into a bog with thigh-high waders!), and less than an hour from the Minnesota border across the Mississippi River. My husband and I felt enveloped by charm and comfort at Jennifer and Steve's tranquil home the moment we stepped through the front door. Had we been without specific plans for each day, we could easily have stayed inside this Victorian cocoon. At every turn there was thoughtfulness: plump sofa cushions, well-supporting sofas, ottomans, and dining room chairs, mood lighting, just-right mattress and soft sheets for both of us with differing preferences, plush bath robes, carefully considered and placed room accents (figurines, romantic etched, printed, and stitched phrases, local crafts, well-turned antique furnishings, bath toiletries artfully arranged in themed baskets), coffee, tea, and snack selections (including mouth-watering homemade chocolate chip cookies!) and mini-fridge tucked just outside the bedroom doors, elegantly set breakfast table complete with personalized seat assignments, candles, seasonal fruits, and flowers, garden art pieces tastefully set amidst colorful blooms--I could go on and on. Breakfasts were creative and scrumptious. So helpful was the menu "library" from local (even a bit further out) restaurants to make dining plans. Our hosts graciously lent us Miamians (FL not OH) gloves and other accessories for our biking adventure on a cool WI morn. How Jennifer and Steve maintain such cleanliness and excellent premises condition I do not know but there was not one iota of evidence that anyone had every stayed in our room before we arrived. This was a truly memorable sojourn for us.
Thank you for the kind review! We love catering to couples and doing whatever we can to make your stay here as relaxing as possible! We were very happy to be your hosts while you were away from Home.

The Franklin Victoria was such a wonderful surprise. Jennifer and Steve are great innkeepers. Their knowledge of the area goes beyond the trails to restaurants, towns and very helpful. Jennifer said that at breakfast is where you learn the most. She was right, a chance to meet the other guests and the sites they have seen. What their perspective is on different areas. Delicious breakfast and very informative. We have stayed at many older B&B's but this one was immaculate. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will be back.
Surprised and Immaculate are what we like for our guests to walk in our door and feel they made the right choice and we want them to feel comfortable! Thank you!

Jennifer and Steve Dunn
We moved to Sparta, Wisconsin in 2002 and are enjoying running an award winning bed and breakfast ever since. Jennifer wanted to own and run a bed and breakfast. With her interior design background, it only seemed natural. Both Jennifer and Steve had grown up in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Because of their love of the Midwest and their family ties in Wisconsin, they wanted to return to their roots. We love what we are doing, so come visit we would love meeting you!
