Our stay at the Franklin Victorian B & B was absolutley wonderful. My husband and I just wanted a relaxing weekend away and that's exactly what we got. This B & B is located in a small town so there are cute little shops and restaurants there and we also went to LaCrosse (about 30 mintues away) for the day. So there are definitley places to go if you like to roam around. Our bed was incredibley comfortable and the Franklin Suite was magnificant. Jennifer served an incredible breakfast each morning and we truly enjoyed the company of the other couple staying there as well.

For some reason the site won't let me rate 'outstanding' but our stay was. We were here last winter to do some snowshoeing and skiing and this time was to celebrate my husband's birthday. Everything was wonderful. (except someone 'borrowed' the movie we wanted to watch on our in room player)

It was very clean, quiet, relaxing and featured really comfortable beds. Owners had ideas for activities. They were friendly, well organized, and provided hot tea, beverages, and mini fridge at your fingertips.

Nice B&B. Good accommodations and very quiet. Sparta WI has very few services after 7:00 pm on a Sunday night. You may want to bring your own food and beverage.

This was our 2nd experience staying in a B&B and is was a very good choice. It was quiet and relaxing. The breakfasts were excellent and more than we would eat at home! Jennifer is a great hostess. We would stay there again.

We recently spent two nights in the Master Bedroom Suite of this inn. I enjoyed the spaciousness of the room, having a table and chairs to play games at, and COMFORTABLE easy chairs (not always the case at historic inns!) The bed was comfortable; sheets were fantastic! Early morning coffee was available in hallway, or we could make it in our room. Bathroom contained a toiletry basket in case anything was left behind- always a good idea so one doesn't need to bother the innkeeper for little things. Bath towels and robes were sooo soft!!! Breakfasts were very good, and served in a pleasant setting with relaxing music playing in the background. Though we didn't take advantage of it, we could have had our breakfast delivered to our room, which was a nice option. Extras such as romantic CD's in the room, battery-operated candles, chocolates, and cookies all added to a wonderful experience. The home is meticulously maintained, and a good value for such a nice place.

Jennifer & Steve thought of everything in making you feel welcome. My wife & I spent our Anniversary there and we were so happy we did. There was a small bottle of wine and two wine glasses in our room along with a small jar of chocolate mints. And freshly baked chocolate chip cookies in a cookie jar at a desk in the hallway with hot coffee or tea for all guests to enjoy.Next to our beautiful new 2 person hot tub we had slippers and bath robes to use after enjoying the hot tub.

This is a beautiful he on Sparta, Wisconsin. There is easy access to the surrounding towns including bike trails and cranberry bogs and wildlife refuges. Jennifer gave a nice history of the home, has decorated the home beautifully and prepares a delicious breakfast. We would definitely stay here again if we are on the area.

Jennifer and Steve Dunn
We moved to Sparta, Wisconsin in 2002 and are enjoying running an award winning bed and breakfast ever since. Jennifer wanted to own and run a bed and breakfast. With her interior design background, it only seemed natural. Both Jennifer and Steve had grown up in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Because of their love of the Midwest and their family ties in Wisconsin, they wanted to return to their roots. We love what we are doing, so come visit we would love meeting you!
