My wife and I stayed in the Valley View room (aka yellow room) to celebrate our anniversary. The room was large, bright and had a wonderful view of the valley. It looked just like the picture on their website. Greg and Sue were wonderful. Very hospitable but still gave us our privacy. There were lots of snacks, coffee and tea and breakfast was super good. Waffles, omelets, fresh fruit salad, sausage, ham, etc, and the best bacon I've ever had. Seriously. What I really enjoyed about this B&B was how authentic if felt. It was like staying at an old friend's house. It even had a growth chart of their kids growing over the years in the bathroom. If you want a very genuine and romantic place run by really nice people, we can't recommend them enough.

Cozy Retreat
Our smallest room in size, maybe, certainly a cozy comfortable retreat. The four-poster bed is full size. This room is very comfortably furnished in the mission style echoing the theme of the first floor of the house. Simple lines and style beg you to unwind and let the stress of the day ease away. This room is on the back of the house and looks out into the trees. You can watch the birds and deer from here that frequent our feeders. This room shares a bathroom with one other room.

This is a great space for relaxing and unwinding. Included in this room is a private bathroom with a whirlpool tub, European style walk-in shower, a fireplace, and queen sized bed. The vaulted ceiling creates a spacious feeling with a beautiful view of the Kinniccinnick Valley to the south. It will have you kicking off your shoes right from the start.

When you walk into our Garden Room your attention is immediately drawn to the expansive view. Through the large bay window you can see for miles across the rolling hills of the Kinnickinnic Valley, which lies just north of River Falls. The room is nicely furnished in a country theme with a king size sleigh bed, a table for two to sit at while you enjoy you morning coffee and cookies You can see the beautiful sunrise and sunset from this room with it's bay window. The room shares a bathroom with another room just across the hall.

My fiance and I stayed in the Valley View room (the yellow room). It has a magnificent view of the country valley below, overlooking horses and farm land. It has a very comfortable king bed, great light, and well decorated in a country style. There were fresh cut flowers when we arrived. We did have to share a bathroom down the hall with another guest room. It was not a problem for us in terms of being able to use it when we wanted to. Sue and Greg were very friendly and accommodating hosts. There were snacks (popcorn, fruit, biscotti, etc), easily available coffee from a Keurig machine, and pop always available. The breakfast were great, and they accommodated a vegetarian and meat eaters equally. The best part was that we were able to bring our goldendoodle with us. They have a large German Shepard and a smaller terrier mix that our dog loved to play with. She was able to explore the grounds freely and play the part of a county dog to her heart's delight. They also have 2 cats that roam the grounds and generally stay to themselves. They have a great campfire with wood available in their front lawn. We were able roast s'mores and drink wine under the stars in front of a fire our last night, which really brought the experience together for us. Overall, great time.

My husband and I stayed in the Tranquil Hideaway room for part of our honeymoon. All of the amenities for each room are listed on their website, but our favorite parts were the spacious whirlpool tub and the seriously breathtaking view of the valley below the house. The breakfasts consisted of Belgian waffles, sausage, bacon, eggs cooked to our preference, fresh cut fruit, juice, coffee, baked goods, and everything was absolutely delicious. Their pets were all very loving and willing to play with us, but stayed away from the bedrooms. A trip to River Falls was only about 10 minutes and a trip to the river or downtown Hudson was about 15 minutes. The owners were pleasant and easy to talk to, but gave us all the privacy we wanted. I would recommend this B&B to any person looking for a quiet retreat with great atmosphere. I honestly can't wait to visit again!
