The Miner's Cottage is a beautiful place to stay. There was only one little glitch...the wifi reception was spotty at best. Outside of that, we enjoyed out stay tremendously.

We enjoyed the quaint miners cabin. The check in was easy and we were provided a great basked of baked goods and fruit. Kitchen stocked with coffee, tea, and juices. This is a great little town with friendly people. The cabin was right next door to the Art Center and we will be back in October to take some classes.

A wonderful change of pace, 19th century ambience with 21st century amenities. Well worth the visit.

We stayed in one of the miner cottages and felt we were in the English countryside. A charming respite that we enjoyed immensely! The restaurant and brewery is one of the local hubs and serves solid food and beers.

I guess the fact that we returned 3 times means they do something right ! We have had 3 different rooms, all have been charming and clean. This time we stayed because we took a class on Shake Rag Alley. Book ahead if you are doing this. I booked in Feb for the room in June...and it was the last room available. Food is great. The woman is very sweet, her husband can be cranky at times but this visit he chatted nicely with us. That is why I gave 4 stars on service. We will stay again. More classes to take !!!

Stayed one night near July 4. Third floor room was outstanding, really a suite with large seating TV area and spacious bathroom. Only downside was too soft pillows. Lunch in restaurant was very good with large selection of craft beers. Breakfast featured homemade Danish and other pastries with good coffee. Far nicer than anticipated, well worth the cost..
