This has to be the nicest bed and breakfast we have ever stayed in. We stayed in the minder's cottage, an historic home owned by the state historic society. It was beautiful and cozy and felt like I was living in a Jane Austin novel. The price was amazing for the space we had. The owners were helpful and very welcoming. We arrived on a weekday during off hours so the main restaurant/entrance wasn't open and they gave clear instructions on how to enter and we found a basket of baked goods and fruit awaiting us in our cottage. The town is a gorgeous quaint arts town, full of antique shops, galleries and bookstores. We definitely plan on coming back.

If you enjoy a relaxing stay in an extremely clean and well appointed cabin. If you enjoy outstanding food and drink with exceptional service. If you enjoy a picturesque town with friendly people...then a stay at the Brewery Creek Inn and Cabins should be at the top of your list.

We stayed in the Miner's Cottage which is a separate property from the Brewery Creek Inn. It is located about 2 blocks away close to the Pendarvis Historic Site. It is a charming place with all of the mod cons. If you go in the cold months, there are plenty of blankets and heaters, but if you go in the summer, be aware that there is no central air conditioning, but there are two floor fans. There is a small fridge, stove and microwave; in the fridge upon arrival, there is cream and butter and several juices which come in handy as upon check in, you will be given a basket with fruit, bread and continental breakfast items for the next morning. There is also coffee and several packets of Stash tea. We try to make it to the Miner's Cottage once a year, and we are always so happy to escape to a comfortable and interesting place. Mineral Point itself is peaceful and lovely. We attended a girls' softball game and a bluegrass/jazz concert while we were in town. The Restaurant back at the main building serves really good food, and if you are into beer, you will find it very interesting. We will be back to the Miner's Cottage very soon.

We had happened upon the restaurant for lunch several years ago and needed a place to stay close to Taliesin on our road trip this year. The room was extremely comfortable and roomy. The bathroom was spacious and extremely clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the stone walls and the couch in front of the fireplace. The breakfast area was right outside our room and was just right. Deb had the table set and ready for us with boiled eggs, yogurt, cereals, sourdough bread for toast, danishes, juices, and coffee/tea. The only negative would be the tall bed (we're short), but it was very comfortable once I climbed in. We ate dinner at the restaurant and it was every bit as good as we remembered. We would definitely stay there again if needing to stay anywhere in the area.

Very nice accommodations, quiet, clean and cozy. A little more than I would espect to pay here, but it is the only nice inn for miles around. Menu is good at on-site restaurant, food is fairly priced but not spectacular.

Spent a 24 hour getaway here after having read a Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel review. The place was wonderful and the room was spectacular and comfortable. I definitely recommend a visit. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed during my Sunday/Monday stay so I was not able to experience what I'm guessing would have been very good as well

Stayed in room 6. Romantic with fireplace and corner whirlpool tub. Comfy bed. Escorted to room by innkeeper, with a brief tour of breakfast/lounge. Tried 4 of the 5 home brews - all great. I don't generally care for Shandy but it was fantastic. Recommend the jalapeno cheese curds with raspberry sauce - delish! Also enjoyed the desserts. Did not order an actual meal, but they looked good. Friendly staff. Restaurant stops taking customers at 8:30pm so that it is quiet by 10 for the inn guests. They also ask that you don't run the jets in the whirlpool after 10 or 10:30 so as to not disturb other guests. Overall a very nice place to stay. A little pricy, but you pay for what you get.

Beautifully appointed rooms, lively pub downstairs, in a town dripping with history.

Thank you so much for a great weekend! The room was lovely and we were so happy you could help us by checking in early before we went to explore the town. The beer was tasty-our growler is already empty- the hosts were very welcoming and we had a nice dinner for his birthday in the restaurant. I definitely recommend this place for an out of the way adventure. Hooray!

We stayed one night in room #6, the largest in the Inn. The room was vey beautiful with 2 exposed stone walls. I would have given it 5 stars but there were some minor maintenance items that really could easily be fixed. The restaurant/bar was enjoyable and the food very good. Our steaks were cooked perfectly to order and tasted great. The beer was OK. I sampled all 5 brews on tap and found 2 to be good, the other 3 were not my cup of tea. Never the less I salute the owners for offering craft beer, it is obviously a labor of love. We would stay again and highly recommend the food.
