The rooms were very pleasant and it was obvious that the owners took good care of their property. Everything was very clean - a major plus in my book. Beware, there are no elevators but there usual are not in B&B's. The third floor is run off of one thermostat so even though there was a thermostat in the room it did not control the temperature. Our room initially was a bit cold so the owner turned the heat up a little for the whole floor. We were able to open the windows and there was a ceiling fan in the room. It was very comfortable. The bedding was also very good quality. Breakfast was not elaborate but was very tasty and adequate. It included pastries, yogurt, fruit, cereals, hard boiled eggs, juice, and coffee/tea. I would definitely recommend this B&B to others who are looking for a place to stay in Mineral Point, WI.

We stayed in the Miner's Cottage for a few days. We did not use the compact kitchen to the fullest, but we did enjoy having it. The place was quiet and private while we were there, but we noticed a small outdoor theatre behind the property, so there may be times of the year when it is a little less so.The location is convenient, within walking distance of attractions and dining. We enjoy older places, but prefer the privacy of hotel to a typical B&B, so this was perfect for us.

Worth investigating if you are in the area. Mineral point is a must see. Took many photos of small village with history.

We had a lovely time in the Brewery Creek Cottage. Loved the welcome basket of goodies and free drinks stocked in the fridge. Owners were very personable and the notebook in the cottage contained answers to any questions we had. The cottage (we stayed on the right-hand side) was decorated very charmingly and had plenty of space. We had two people in our party but the cottage could easily fit 4 without being crowded. The location is excellent for walking to Pendaris or to High Street shopping. We had dinner at the Brewery Creek Restaurant and thought the food and service were superb. Minor (very minor!) suggestion to management: add bottled water to the drink selection in the fridge, and make sure there are extra rolls of toilet paper.

Went there almost 15 years ago and returned for the memories. It was great then and even better now. The restaurant is fantastic, the beer wonderful and the room was just like we remembered it. Definitely would go again (and not wait fifteen years!).

This has to be the nicest bed and breakfast we have ever stayed in. We stayed in the minder's cottage, an historic home owned by the state historic society. It was beautiful and cozy and felt like I was living in a Jane Austin novel. The price was amazing for the space we had. The owners were helpful and very welcoming. We arrived on a weekday during off hours so the main restaurant/entrance wasn't open and they gave clear instructions on how to enter and we found a basket of baked goods and fruit awaiting us in our cottage. The town is a gorgeous quaint arts town, full of antique shops, galleries and bookstores. We definitely plan on coming back.

If you enjoy a relaxing stay in an extremely clean and well appointed cabin. If you enjoy outstanding food and drink with exceptional service. If you enjoy a picturesque town with friendly people...then a stay at the Brewery Creek Inn and Cabins should be at the top of your list.

We stayed in the Miner's Cottage which is a separate property from the Brewery Creek Inn. It is located about 2 blocks away close to the Pendarvis Historic Site. It is a charming place with all of the mod cons. If you go in the cold months, there are plenty of blankets and heaters, but if you go in the summer, be aware that there is no central air conditioning, but there are two floor fans. There is a small fridge, stove and microwave; in the fridge upon arrival, there is cream and butter and several juices which come in handy as upon check in, you will be given a basket with fruit, bread and continental breakfast items for the next morning. There is also coffee and several packets of Stash tea. We try to make it to the Miner's Cottage once a year, and we are always so happy to escape to a comfortable and interesting place. Mineral Point itself is peaceful and lovely. We attended a girls' softball game and a bluegrass/jazz concert while we were in town. The Restaurant back at the main building serves really good food, and if you are into beer, you will find it very interesting. We will be back to the Miner's Cottage very soon.

We had happened upon the restaurant for lunch several years ago and needed a place to stay close to Taliesin on our road trip this year. The room was extremely comfortable and roomy. The bathroom was spacious and extremely clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the stone walls and the couch in front of the fireplace. The breakfast area was right outside our room and was just right. Deb had the table set and ready for us with boiled eggs, yogurt, cereals, sourdough bread for toast, danishes, juices, and coffee/tea. The only negative would be the tall bed (we're short), but it was very comfortable once I climbed in. We ate dinner at the restaurant and it was every bit as good as we remembered. We would definitely stay there again if needing to stay anywhere in the area.
