    Lovely Weekend Retreat

    February 24, 2013

We recently spent two nights at the Token Creek Eco Inn during a weekend "beer and cheese tour" of Wisconsin. The location of the Inn was perfect - quiet and remote, with gorgeous farmscapes and clear skies for stargazing, while being just a short (scenic) drive to Madison. Jean and Jason were wonderful hosts, and we really enjoyed getting to know them over breakfast. They gave great advice on where to go while were in Wisconsin - One Barrel Brewery and Tex Tubbs' Taco Palace were favorites. The Inn was incredibly comfortable and home-y feeling. We loved the little extra touches, like local chocolates, homemade wine and cookies, DVDs, and eggs fresh from their chickens. It was also nice to be surrounded by like-minded people who could enjoy delicious local and organic foods while discussing the importance of community - relaxing and stimulating at the same time! Many thanks for our weekend getaway! Sarah and Brian

    Fabulous Bed and Breakfast

    February 22, 2013

Wow, this was the idyllic Wisconsin Bed and Breakfast. I think everything is organic and/or fair trade at this wonderful inn. The sheets on the best were like 2 million thread count and the pillows were just the right size. Jean (the proprietor) was great: as a host, a cook and a tour guide. I love the fact that we ate fresh eggs from the chicken flock and that were laid the day before. Breakfast wasn't a small casserole with some coffee (like I have experienced at another B&B)- no- I stuffed myself with so much food that I did not have to eat until 5pm that evening. Jean cooked perfect soft boiled eggs and had the neatest egg cutter to maximize the enjoyment. I enjoyed drinking the (complimentary) homemade wine and loved how Eco-friendly this bed & breakfast was! We will be back and spreading the word about this fabulous Inn.

    A Gem!

    November 19, 2012

We came to town for a wedding and stayed two nights with Jean and Jason. They were exceptionally helpful in instructions for arrival, offering to help with bags, introducing the various amenities and getting us settled and comfortable. The rooms are immaculate and fresh. It is a very well kept inn. The eco-friendly atmosphere makes it all that much more enjoyable - knowing that the food, beverages and surrounding are all done with the freshest, most tasteful and thoughtful ecology in mind. I could go on and on about the breakfasts - so fabulous and good for you too - the great room with cozy reading light and quiet nature - the great coffee and tea selections - the home-made wines, beers and cookies - the local area running opportunities and conservancy hiking - the mini-farm animals and solitude of the inn... It all adds up to a great stay, but, most of all, the conversation and privacy the innkeepers provide is just the right balance of contact. We really LOVED our breakfast chats and look forward to a return trip very soon!

    Amazing

    October 20, 2012

We stayed at the Capitol Room for 2 nights and everything was amazing: The huge bed, the whirlpool tub, the view, the chickens and the eggs that we collected, the very quite and peaceful atmosphere --- and especially the hosts. Jean's breakfast was incredible on both of the days and the coffee was so delicious. We spend our days in the garden, on the porch in the sun and in the beautiful nature surrounding the B&B. It was the perfect escape from the city.

    Helpful and friendly

    October 11, 2012

On our resent trip from NY to Seattle my wife and I passed Madison. We were lucky and chose Token Creek Eco-Inn for overnight stay. It was a very nice and comfortable accommodation. The rooms were nice and everything was clean and fresh. The breakfast was wonderful! Jean and her husband Jason was very friendly and gave us valuable tips for our onward journey to among other places Yellowstone and Glacier Park.

    Great Choice

    September 18, 2012

I was very pleased with our stay at the Token Creek Eco-Inn. I loved the country atmosphere and the wonderful food. The coffee was great too, which I feel is a must for a Bed and Breakfast. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. We had friends staying with us from out of state and I believe they were impressed with the Mid-western hospitality Jean and Jason showed us.

    wonderful stay

    September 03, 2012

Had a great stay at the Eco-Inn. My girlfriend and I both have food allergies to gluten and nuts. Jean made an amazing breakfast around our diets. Great conversation at the table. Loved the chickens. We'll be coming back soon to enjoy more of the area. AK&MK
